"CHAN? you've got to be kidding me!" Bai Tsa hissed indignantly "You've lost your mind, Shendu!"

Shendu gave an exasperated frown.

After he and Valmont had been freed by Drago and his friends, they'd spent some time discussing what to do. Valmont had come to the conclusion that in order to stop a dark magic they couldn't understand, they needed to consult an expert of GOOD magic...

And, unfortunately, there was only One person who fit that bill...

One who had a decidedly annoying habit if being able to figure out a way to beat everything that had been thrown at them.

"On the contrary, sister, I'M the only one with the presence of mind, and experience, to make such decision as this one..." Shendu replied curtly " This is a dire situation..."

"That is certainly an understatement..."

"If we ever hope to reverse this situation, we will require assistance from Uncle Chan... With his help, we may be able remove the necklace from Jamie's neck, which will hopefully return her to normal, and banish the Nekokhan back to the void."

"Hopefully. Meaning you don't know for sure" Tchang Zu sneered.

Shendu scoffed and stood on his tiptoes, getting into Tchang Zu's face from outside the prison bars. "Do YOU have any better ideas, brother? No? Then be silent."

Tchang Zu growled "Don't think you can talk big just because you've broken out of your cell and we haven't, Shendu…"

"I didn't break out...I was released, by my son...He's decided to see sense, and his punishment for his lapse of judgment will be addressed later... For now, we must focus on how to handle the...developments of our situation..."

"What development?"

Valmont crossed his arms and turned to Drago "I believe that's YOUR cue, junior..."

Drago growled at the brit "Jamie...wants to marry me...and she's pretty implied that he'll kill me if I say "no"

There was a long moment of silence before His Wu cracked his knuckles "Well, should I start, or does anyone else wanna rip into him?"

Bai Tsa shook her head 'Not this time, little brother...After my dealings with Bubba, I know what it's like to be pursued unwantedly...But I have a feeling there's more to this than just you not wanting to be the king of the world."

Drago averted his eyes "Jamie is acting weird..."

"Of course she is, she-"

"No. I mean... WIERD weird...She's not..." he sighed, trying to find a word before simply settling on "she's not...JAMIE..."

Bai Tsa nodded in understanding "I understand..." She turned to her brothers "Alright, brothers...Po...Let's get our therapist back."

Uncle Chan sat in meditative position as he glanced over at Shendu, who was sitting across from him

"Will you do it, old man?"

"Jamie has been a source of much confusion in our lives... Her association with YOU has always given us concern for her wellbeing...and Now, she has become corrupted by dark magic...She is my future niece in law's sister...so that makes her my family...So, Yes...Uncle will help her."

"I suppose you'll want something in return?" Tchang Zu asked in a not so polite tone.

Uncle leaned forward and smacked him with his fingers "Do not take me to be foolish! You demons never keep your promises!"

The Thunder Demon growled wrathfully and Bai Tsa held her hand out in front of his face, to silence him "This is a rather DIFFERENT situation than the norm, Uncle Chan. Jamie is...significant to us. We desire her wellbeing. if you have a demand to make, we will acquiesce...within reason."

"You cannot POSSIBLY-" Tchang Zu started, only for uncle to interrupt him next "If you are being truthful, which Uncle does not expect you to be, then Uncle demands that you will not resume demonic form, even if your demon chi has been restored..."

There was much muttering and growls and hisses about THAT demand. However, Shendu would raise his hand to Silence his siblings, and gave the elderly human a nod "Very well, Wizard...We will agree to your terms..."

Jackie pulled uncle aside "Uncle, do you really think this is a good idea?" he asked, his brow furrowed in concern.

Uncle sighed "I am not sure, but it is Uncles duty to protect the world from dark magic... and protect the innocent. Jamie needs help. We ourselves asked help from Shendu not long ago..." He reminded his nephew "And now, it is their turn to seek help from us... The Circle of consequences comes back around at last..."

Jackie sighed, but nodded.

Uncle stood and turned to Drago and his goons "Uncle will help you...But first..."

"Here it comes..." Jade said in unison with Tohru crossing her arms with a knowing look on her face

"I will require ingredients!"

Hope you guys enjoyed the chapter! It's been a long time coming
and I'm super excited to get back t work on the story!

It took longer than I expected to update this story, because I had
computer issues, and had to wait for my new laptop to arrive, and
then we had some unexpected weather that fucked up my internet

Then of course, there's good writers block, paying me a visit!

I HAD planned on having this out by New Years, or Valentines day, but
as usual The Gods of Bad Luck saw fit to 'bless' me in their wisdom.

BUT! I'm back now!

So, this Easter/spring equinox/Passover whatever you celebrate, lets
usher in the time of rebirth with a shiny new chapter!
