Authors notes: Ok so I heard this song somewhere and had to download it. It really gets stuck in your head. After playing it a few times I thought it suited Deeks pretty well. Not going to be very long just a quick little moment in their lives.
Deeks wants to go out and blow off some steam and does his best to drag Kensi with him.
"Come on Kensi come with me."
"No Deeks I'm tired and want to go home."
"I'll buy you ice cream."
"No."
"Please Kensi come with me."
"No."
"Oh come on I'll show you how I have a good time."
"You mean watching you hit on bimbo's, strippers and hookers."
"No I'm talking about real fun."
Deeks looks at her and puts his hand out to her.
"Please Kensi come with me."
Kensi against her better judgment put her hand out and took Deeks. This was not going to end well.
"Your just afraid to lose control." Deeks tugged Kensi to him. "Stop getting caught up in things. You've wasted time I've wasted time." Deeks kissed Kensi. "Stop thinking Kensi and just come with me now."
"I don't know about you but I need to move, I need to loose myself tonight." Deeks smiled at Kensi and she laughed as he dragged her down the street.
"Ok Deeks where are we going?"
"You'll see." Deeks led her down a block and stopped in front of a brightly lit business. "Kensi you know I think with my heart and I move with my head. Part of me knows I'm growing too old." Deeks pulled her in with him the music was pounding and the lights flashing. "I don't want to have any regrets. Come with me now."
Deeks pulled Kensi to the bar and ordered them both a beer. He leaned in close to her to whisper into her ear.
"I've confused with I thought with something I felt, confused what I feel with something that's real." Kensi looked at Deeks afraid of what this meant.
Deeks realized what Kensi thought. He pulled her into him again and kissed her hard. Kensi sighed and melted into him.
"This is what I've been missing." Deeks kissed her again. "You." They drank their beers and made out some more. Finally Deeks couldn't take it anymore.
"Kensi come with me now." He put his hand out and this time she didn't hesitate.
She knew she'd go anywhere with him. It's where she belonged.
