A/N: Hey guys, I'm finally here with the epilogue for Of Goths and Gangwars 2. I was going through a huge amount of writer's block and was also pretty busy finishing off my first year at College. But I'm here now, and we're going to write this chapter once and for all.
"Oh, how cute and childish. You promised?' Alucard asked, taunting me. "Yes. I. Promised." I shouted back at him, pulling a knife out of my boot and slitting his throat. Alucard Johnson had actually died on that rooftop that day. I had rushed off the rooftop so that Crabblesnitch would never find the body, and later in the week I was given the key to the city. I had celebrated my victory at Harrington House where Aiden, in his classic Aiden way had actually ordered a couple of strippers for the boys and I to enjoy.
"Mike, that is not even close to how that day went down." Amanda said getting my attention. I sighed. "I know babe. But, if I tell the true ending to the story, won't that actually be just a little bit too redundant to how the first story played out?" I replied. She shook her head. "No, because you actually threw the sociopath off the roof and then tried to save his life. He was idiotic and wanted to die. That's way more exciting than this crappy fanfiction you've written for the sequel." Amanda said. I shrugged. There was no point in arguing, Amanda was usually always right in our arguments anyways.
I guess I should tell you how we got to this point where we are now, right? After I beat Alucard on the roof of Bullworth Academy, I had taken him into custody where I'm not actually sure what happened to him. But I can assume that he probably died or he's still in prison. Now, since Ashley and Ezekiel had only lent a hand in the absolute destruction of the Academy, the police didn't see it as a reason to have them locked up in jail. But, they were expelled from Bullworth Academy for good.
Once I returned to Amanda's house, I had proposed to her and we had gotten married immediately after we graduated. My parents and her parents were pretty pissed off at first because they thought we were totally throwing our lives away. But, Amanda's parents had actually mellowed out over the idea and let us live in their house until we could land on our own two feet as they were moving down to Florida. Which left us with Amanda' adopted sister Sabrina.
Even though we did end up landing on our own two feet, we still live in Amanda's childhood home currently, but once I've directed the sequel to Of Goths and Gangwars, we plan to buy a home in the city of Los Santos. Yeah, you heard that right. I decided to give film directing a try, and even though I didn't have a lot of experience, I definitely had enough money to take the first Of Goths and Gangwars from Indie Festival, to big screen. To this day, people send me fan e-mails telling me that I have the talent to be the next John Hughes. I feel that this is an incredible feat for me. The premiere for the first movie was one of the greatest nights of my life. First of all, because of the huge turnout and second, the fact that on that night Amanda had announced in front of myself and the cast that she was currently pregnant with our first child. But, instead of one bundle of joy we had gotten two. A boy named Jace and a girl named Rayna.
Now, all I need for the sequel is an ending. I'll definitely change how the final showdown ends to how it properly happened, but I feel like there needs to be an epilogue that reflects how all our lives turned out after all this happened to us.
I had decided to shut off my laptop because I knew that I wouldn't get any inspiration from just staring at my computer screen all day. Moments later, a teenage girl with blonde hair with red highlights walked in. She was wearing a long sleeve blue and black striped sweater with dark blue jeans and red converse sneakers. She was carrying two fraternal twin toddlers in her arms. "Mike, can you please take your kids back now? I'm kind of tired of being their babysitter." She said. "Relax Sabrina, you just have to take care of them for a few more hours. Amanda and I are going to be heading to my friend's book signing soon." I replied She put the two kids on the floor and walked out frustrated.
I shook my head. "I don't see what her problem is, it's not like she lives here just to take care of the kids, we do a fine enough job of that on her own." I said. Amanda nodded. "I know, but she's a teenager. I mean, we were just like her not too long ago." Amanda replied. "Yeah, if my teenage self could see me now, he'd probably beat me up." I said with a chuckle. Amanda laughed. I looked down at my son Jace who was clutching onto my leg. "Up, Daddy." He said. I nodded and lifted him off my leg and onto my lap. "So, what do you think of Sabrina?" I asked him. "Sabrina nice. She my friend." He said. "Yeah? Well, that's good. Because you two get to hang out with her a little while longer. Your mom and I have to leave pretty soon." I replied putting him back down on the floor.
I had walked out of my office and headed for Sabrina's room. I had walked in and saw her sitting down to watch Of Goths and Gangwars. "Wow, you really like my movie, don't you?" I asked watching my actor portray my teenage self. She nodded. "Were you always this much of a dick?" She asked half-jokingly. I nodded. "For almost my entire teenage career. But your sister mellowed me out and made a more rational and level-headed guy." I replied. "Hmm, but the actor playing you is so dreamy, what the hell happened to you?" She asked teasingly. I shook my head and rolled my eyes. "Well, aging primarily, but whatever. Can you watch my kids for a few more hours?" I asked.
She sighed. "You know, I don't get payed enough for this." She said. "You don't get paid period. Technically, they're your niece and nephew, so you should love them and want to take care of them when we're not around regardless." I replied. "Technically, but I am also a teenager. So, technically I should be able to go out with my friends on the weekends and do crazy shit. Isn't that what you and your boyfriend Aiden did back in the day?" She asked.
"You've got a point, but it is one more favor. Tell you what, when we get back you can have the night off to do whatever crazy shit you want to do." I replied. She smiled. "Thanks Mike, I don't know, maybe you are still a cool guy." She said grinning. "Damn straight." I replied.
After that, Amanda and I had left the house to leave for Aiden's book signing. "So, should I drive or do you want to?" Amanda asked. "Neither, it's a beautiful day out, I think we should just walk there, you know I do my best thinking when I go on long walks." I replied. "Still trying to capture that perfect ending, huh?" She asked. "Yeah, I feel like there should be an epilogue that tells the audience what happened to us after all of that. I just can't decide if I want it to be an actual scene or if I want it to be text at the end of the movie." I replied.
She nodded. "I guess we'll just have to wait and see." She said. "I guess so. Anyways, what were you working on in my office?" I asked. "A painting. Of you, and me, and Aiden. It was supposed to be a gift to give him at the book launch. It's kind of the reason why I wanted to take the car." She replied. "Don't worry about it, Aiden will be in town for a couple of days, I'll just drop it off at his hotel later on." I said.
"So, do you ever keep in touch with any of your old friends?" Amanda asked. "Yeah, of course. Ryan's still off doing a tour with his band, and Lucy is still his number one groupie after all these years. I think she does the concept art for his music videos and album covers." I said. Amanda nodded. "That's cool." She replied. "What about you?" I asked. "Well, Pinky's not going to be in town for the book launch, probably because she's off busy running her fashion empire." She replied. I chuckled. "How very Mary Kate and Ashley of her to do." I said. She laughed. "But, Salem, or Jade, or even Lola, you don't know what's going on with them?" She asked.
"I heard that Salem dude went MIA for a while trying to figure out his own path on how he wants to spend his life until he's 65." A voice from behind us said. I turned around and looked at the man. He had short black hair and a beard, as well as a well- toned and muscular body, and was wearing a military jacket, blue jeans, and combat boots. I had looked at him more clearly and knew he looked familiar. "Salem?" I asked. "Yeah." He replied. "Dude, where the hell have you been all this time? I thought you died!" I shouted. "I didn't want you to think I was dead, but I figured you've got your life as a famous director and family man, I didn't think you would have cared where I ended up after high school or not." He replied.
I shook my head. "Obviously that's not true, you were my first real friend at Bullworth Academy, why would you think I would ever want to leave you behind?" I asked. He shrugged. "I don't know man, I really don't." He replied. There was a long moment of silence after that.
"Have you seen her?" He asked. "Who? Your ex Raven? Yeah, she's a successful poet, she's published a couple of books, Amanda and I have seen her perform it live a couple of times." I replied. "No, your cousin. The girl that I threw away and left with Johnny Vincent, which I swore to myself would never happen." He said. "Oh. I replied. "Yeah, oh." He said. "Well, she's been out of college for a while now. There's not a lot of jobs here around Bullworth that require a Philosophy major." I said. "So, she's still in town?!" He asked excitedly. "Yeah, and she's single." I replied. "Where is she right now?" He asked. " I don't know, why don't you call her up and see for yourself?" I asked. "I will, so, I'll see you around?" He asked. "
"No, you won't. I'm going to probably fly out of town to film the sequel in a few months, and then move out to live in Los Santos and have a fresh start." I replied. "Well, when you get to Los Santos, look me up. I'm planning on starting my own Bounty Hunting business, and I figured you might want to have a paying job to start with when you get there." He said. I nodded. "Thanks man, that would be cool." I replied.
After that, Amanda and I had finally walked over to the bookstore, just barely squeezing through the crowd of people in there. "Wow, who knew Aiden was such a celebrity?" Amanda asked. "I sure didn't. I thought everyone in town hated him." I replied. "That was years ago, a lot can change in a few years, you know that better than anyone." She said. Eventually, Aiden had pushed through the crowd and made his way over to us. "Well well, the guests of honor finally arrive. It's good to see you guys after so long." Aiden said. "It's nice to see you too man." I said giving him a quick hug before going back to holding hands with Amanda.
"So, you guys are still together then?" He asked. "Yeah, of course. We're going to try for that "nuclear family" crap." I replied. He chuckled. "You know, I saw your movie when it came out. It was very "John Hughes" esque." He said. "Thanks man, that's saying a lot and saying very little at the same time. But if you think about it, our lives at Bullworth were pretty "John Hughes" esque." I replied. "Tell me about it." He said.
Aiden looked at me and motioned out the door. I looked over to Amanda and she nodded. "Hey, enjoy yourself. I'll just be hanging out here and enjoying this mini high school reunion." She said. I nodded in reply and followed Aiden out the door. We were standing by the wall of the bookstore. "So, you got a light?" He asked. I chuckled. "Jeez, you still smoke? I thought you would have quit by now." I replied. "I've tried to, multiple times in fact. I just thought you might want to share a smoke with me for old time's sake." He said. "No thanks, but I can stand here and watch you smoke." I replied.
"Suit yourself then." He said taking a cigarette out and lighting it. "So," He said taking a drag. "What's been going on with you recently? It's been a while since you last e-mailed me." I took out my phone and looked for a picture of Amanda and I with our kids. "Well, after we got married, we had twins. A boy named Jace and a girl named Rayna." I replied. He looked at the picture for a while. A small smile had crept on his lips as if he were proud of what I've accomplished. "Wow," He said. "They don't look a thing like you." He said jokingly. "Hey, fuck you." I replied back jokingly.
We had stood there for the next few minutes just sharing stories and reminiscing about our days in high school. Aiden had stubbed the cigarette out on the wall. "Hey," He said. "Hey." I replied. He looked around to make sure we were the only ones outside. "I just wanted to let you know something." He said. "And what's that?" I asked. "You'll always be my brother, Mike. Always. I might be out travelling the world or cooped up somewhere writing my novels, but I'll always keep in touch with you and always try to look after you." He said. I had stood there for a while trying to keep it together. "Wow, umm, thanks man that really means a lot. You're always going to be my brother too." I replied. Aiden had taken the book out of his jacket and handed it over to me. "Here, I want you to have this." He said. "Thanks." I had stood there for a moment. "Wait, do I have to pay you for this?" I asked. He shook his head and chuckled. "No, it's free. Consider it a gift and as another way to say thanks." He replied.
"Thanks for what?" I asked. "Thanks for being such a close mate. What else would I have to thank you for?" He asked. "True, so, Amanda's actually got a gift for you. It's back at our house and I'll make sure to drop it off at whatever hotel you're staying at." I said. He nodded. "I'll be looking forward to it." Aiden had started to walk back into the bookstore. "Hey Mike, one last thing." He said. "What's up?" I asked. "If you told anyone we had this talk, I'll kill you." He replied jokingly. "Right, I wouldn't want to ruin your reputation or let the whole world know that Aiden Kane's actually got something similar to a heart." I said with a laugh. He chuckled as well and walked back into the bookstore.
I had looked once more at the cover. "Bullworthless Boy." I read aloud. I had looked at the front page and saw a message written on it.
Dear Mike,
I just wanted to thank you for being a close mate all throughout my time at Bullworth. Sure we had some drama, but you were always there for me, even if I didn't want you to be. I'm not going to forget that or even forget you. Take care of Amanda and I hope you continue to have a successful future in whatever endeavors you have planned for you.
Your brother always,
Aiden.
I wiped the tear away from my eye. "Don't worry Aiden, I'm not going to change anything about my life." I had walked over to the alleyway by the bookstore and saw a spare can of spray paint resting against the wall. I had decided to use that spray paint near me to paint a mural of my closest friends in life copying the signature Breakfast Club poses from the movie poster. I had decided to use what was left of the spray paint to paint a message underneath. I looked over my work one last time. "I get by with a little help from my friends." I read aloud. I had walked back into the bookstore to find Amanda so that we could go home.
Author's Note: So here we are at the end of the story. I just wanted to thank you guys for sticking by me even though it took me four years to finish the story for good. What's funny is that the four-year anniversary for Of Goths and Gangwars is actually coming up. I can't believe it's actually been that long since I first start writing fanfiction, it definitely does not feel like it's been that long. I was actually checking over the views I was getting for my stories and found out that in total over 50,000 people have viewed the first Of Goths and Gangwars and I just wanted to say that this is a huge milestone for me, because I wasn't actually sure how popular my fanfiction was.
Now, just because Of Goths and Gangwars is coming to an end doesn't mean I'm going away for good. I've still got plenty of fanfiction ideas that I've got. Like I said in a previous Author's Note, I've got plans to write another Bully fanfiction. That one will probably be coming out soon. The title for that story is called Reckless Abandon, and I'm very excited to start working on that story.
However, I also have a GTA V fanfiction in the works with Rougeification, which is the reason why I keep mentioning that Amanda and Mike are going to be leaving to go to Los Santos. They will not be the protagonists by any means, in fact they'll basically just have a cameo appearance. I also have a Walking Dead fanfiction I want to write as well. Now this one will be based on the video games by Telltale Games, and I absolutely love these games, I think the writing is simply brilliant and I recommend them to anyone.
One of the last new fanfictions that I plan to write about will be based on Kingdom Hearts, and it takes place before the third game, and so that I have an accurate post game understanding, I'll have to play the games that came out between the second game.
Now, I want to address the elephant in the room, so to speak. The short fics for Of Goths and Gangwars. You might be thinking, well it's not really a collection if you only have one story in there. That's true. However, I do have a few more I plan to work on, whether I work on them during my writing for Reckless Abandon, or I might write them when I'm working on my GTA V collaboration fanfic.
One last time, thank you for sticking by me and for supporting me just by reading the chapters, you don't have to follow my story or even favorite it. Just by reading the stories, you're doing me a favor and supporting me in doing so. For that, I am eternally grateful.
As always, this has been ShadowRoxas134 and I'm signing out.
