Kate looked up from her empty ice cream bowl and asked, "We need to think about names for him."

"Okay. I bought a baby name book. I'll let you look through it and you can pick one out."

She watched as he walked into his bedroom. He hurried out with what looked to be a book that hadn't been opened. He handed it to her, but she didn't reach out to take it. She looked at him and then at the book. Finally, she said, "You haven't looked for names?"

Shaking his head, "Uh no. I didn't think it was my place. I didn't want to assume anything and, well…"

He looked down at the floor and busied himself with taking her empty bowl. She looked at his retreating back and sighed, "Castle, you have every right to give me your ideas for a name."

"I...I didn't want to just assume and...well…"

She stood up, walked over to him and pulled his head down to hers for a kiss. Then she whispered against his lips, "Rick. He's your son. Your name is going to be on his birth certificate. You are the one that is going to teach him everything he needs to know. I want you to help name him. Or I could always just give him the first name Castle."

He gave her a look and said, "Really? You'd name him Castle Castle."

She laughed, "Well, if his dad won't help me name him then I'll have to come up with something on my own. Castle Castle has a great ring to it. Don't you think so?"

He looked at her and then at the book. He finally shook his head and said, "You're killing me here woman. I shouldn't have any right to pick his name."

Taking his hand, she placed it on her stomach. Their son was very active that morning and she saw the smile blooming bright on his face. She knew the moment his resolve broke, because she heard him sigh and she told him, "You have every right Rick. Besides, it will give me something to torture you with."

She turned and walked away from him and smiled when she saw him walk over to the table and pick up the book. He walked back into his office and she followed him. He sat down on the couch and she joined him and laid between his held the book in front of them and they spotted a few names that interested them.

After about an hour she looked back at him and laughed, "I need to go to the bathroom."

Castle chuckled softly and watched as she walked out of the room. He kept flipping through the book and smiled. They found a few good names, but nothing that stood out to either of them.

He didn't look up when he heard her walk back into the room. She said, "You know. I have a suggestion that we haven't thought of yet."

"Hmmm, what's that?"

She bit her bottom lip and whispered softly, "Well, we could always name him after you."

There had been very few times in his life that Castle had ever been rendered speechless. This was one of those times. His mouth opened and closed, before if finally stayed opened. When she got close enough to him, she laughed and pushed it closed. Then asked, "What do you think?"

"I'm not sure that is a good idea."

"Why? You don't want him to be named after you?"

I've never been big into the whole Junior thing. Let's keep looking."

She walked back over to sit with him. She took the book and held it against her stomach. Letting his hands rest on her stomach. She loved the soothing circles that he drew on her skin, After awhile, she found it hard to concentrate and shook her head and laid her head back on his chest. She sighed and whispered, "I'm sleepy."

Kissing the top of her head, he whispered, "Go ahead and sleep. I like sitting like this. Holding you like this."

She closed her eyes and was soon fast asleep. He smiled as watched her fall asleep against his chest. So far, they hadn't been able to agree on any names for the baby. None of them sounded right. They both had a few that they liked, but nothing that stood out to them. Maybe they could wait until he was here and hopefully the name would come to them.

He kissed the top of her head and shook her awake and whispered, "Lets go to bed sweetheart."

Humming, she stood up and he took her hand and led her towards their bedroom. She collapsed into the bed and snuggled beneath the covers. Castle watched her for a few seconds and then turned and walked towards the bathroom. He got stripped down and had just stepped into the shower when he heard her asked, "Can I join you?"

"Of course."

"A hot shower would feel amazing right now."

"Are you sore?"

"Not exactly. Just having cramps in my legs,"

He smiled softly, "I can take care of that for you."

"I'd like that."

"Once you get dressed I'll give you a full body massage."

"Mmmm..that sounds heavenly. How did I ever get so lucky Rick? The day I met you was the day that my life changed forever. I want to marry you."

Castle laughed and told her, "We are getting married. I thought we would wait until he's born and then.."

Shaking her head, "No. I want to get married before he's born. I want to be Mrs. Richard Castle before he makes his way into the world."

"I thought you would want a big wedding. Complete with all the important things. Flowers galore."

"I don't need any of that Rick. All I need it you. We could go down to the courthouse and get married as soon as they grant our license."

He smiled and leaned down to kiss her, "Are you sure that's what you want? You don't want your dad to walk you down the aisle?"

"Nope. Just you."

They finished the shower and Castle led her over to the leaned down and kissed her softly. Then he started massaging her body. From head to toe. When he was done, she couldn't move. She was so relaxed and it felt like her bones had been turned to jelly.

When he climbed into bed beside her, she hummed and whispered, "That was amazing Rick. I've never felt this good before. It was better than sex."

Hr sputtered and asked, "Better than sex? Better than sex? Well, I never woman!"

Kate laughed into the pillow hysterically, "Gotcha!"

"You are an evil, evil woman Katherine Beckett."

"You know that you love it. Love me."

"Humph. You better be glad that I do. I can't believe that I'm going to marry you."

Castle laid down beside her and wrapped her in his arms and held her while she slept. He was unable to sleep due to the thoughts running around in his wanted to give her the wedding of her dreams. However, he knew that she would never agree to it. So, he drew up plans for a small and intimate wedding.

They would invite the boys. His mother and daughter. Her father would definitely be there to walk her down the aisle. He would call his party planner and have her set up for the wedding at his Hampton's house. He smiled and finally closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

When she woke the following morning, Kate was surprised to see Castle's side of the bed empty. She didn't hear the shower running, so she climbed out of the bed and went in search of him.

She finally spotted him sitting in his office. He was typing siltently on his laptop. She stood in the doorway watching him for a few minutes. She had always loved watching him work and now was no exception. She heard him laugh and he said, "I thought you said that staring was creepy Beckett?"

Smiling, she walked over to sit beside him, "Only when you do it Rick. Otherwise it's normal."

He laughed and that's when she told him, "I had a dream last night."

"About?"

She sighed, "Well, we were talking about the baby when I fell asleep.I kind of dreamed about his name."

"So you figured out a super cool name for him."

Shaking her head, she laughed softly, "It was more of a nightmare honestly. I dreamt that we name him Remington."

Castle was silent for a moment and then burst out laughing. It took him a few seconds to finally stop and then he managed to get out, "I'm sorry, but I couldn't see using that name. Even in the worst of circumstances."

"I mean, it's not a bad name, it just doesn't fit."

Nodding he smiled, "No. What we need to do is choose our favorite names and then when he's born we will see what fits him best."

She leaned down and kissed him, "I agree. I'm going to make breakfast? You hungry?"

"Starving, but I can cook. I…"

"Let me. I do know how to cook."

"You'd never know it from the styrofoam temple back at your place."

She rolled her eyes at him, 'That's mostly for convenience. Plus, it's not fun cooking for myself."

"I guess you have a point. Still, you don't have to cook and…"

Leaning forward to kiss him, she whispered, "Andrew."

Blinking a few times, Rick looked at her and asked, "What?"

"I like the name Andrew. I..if you don't like it we can change it, but I…"

"I love the name, Andrew Beckett."

Shaking her head, "Andrew Castle. We can decide on a middle name later. I…"

"How about James? For your father."

In that moment, she was rendered looked at him and whispered, "I, I think that's a great idea. Andrew James Castle."

He kissed her softly as they held each other close in the would never forget how lucky she was and she was glad that she had allowed herself the chance to fall in love with him. She smiled and whispered, "Not hungry for food right now. Bedroom now. Food later."

She pulled him towards the bedroom and that's where they spent the remainder of the afternoon. Wrapped up in each other's arms making love and talking about their plans for the wedding…..
