Chapter 24: Tino & Dino
Author's Notes
For the names Tino and Dino, the "i" is pronounced with a long E sound. (Tee-nO, Dee-nO)

In a rocky land where there are small plateaus and some dark clouds in the sky, Red Volcano contained a few tumbleweed bushes on the rocky and hard ground fields, and a few small trees sticking out on the side of the rocky walls. There is a small gorge that leads to the volcano in the distance. There's also a road in the gorge with one end that leads to the volcano and the other leads to the entrance of Red Volcano. At the entrance of the area, a painting of Pigment Village hangs on a rocky wall. Then it starts to shake back and forth. Splash! Pop! Splash! Pop! Out coming from the painting are the Pretty Cure team landed safely as they arrived in Red Volcano.
"Well, here we are." Tint said to the team.
"Woo! It doesn't feel hot," Miki stated as she fans her shirt, "but it feels like sweat in the air."
"You mean there's humidity in the air." Karen corrected.
"For sure." Matt agreed as he fans his shirt and body.
"Whoa, the humidity in the air is making my fur really sweaty." Tarte said as he fans himself.
"I'm already sweating right now-natsu." Natts said as he fans himself.
"Hey everyone, look up ahead." Hibiki called out. Everyone heard and did, and they all see a giant volcano with black smoke coming out from the top and circling all around the volcano.
"That's a big volcano." Hime said in awe.
"No doubt," Reika agreed, "but I'll bet that's where the next Wonder Color is being held."
Some of the Pretty Cures were shocked of what Reika said. "You mean we have to go inside that hot and dangerous place!?" Nagisa said in fear.
"I have to agree with Reika." Alice replied in concern. "A place like that is likely where the Wonder Color is being held safely."
Nagisa drooped in a slump. "I can't believe this."
"Oh Nagisa…" Honoka said with little embarrassment.
"I just hope we don't encounter any lava along the way-coco." Coco said in concern.
"Yeah, I hate to get my tail fried-nya." Hummy followed in concern too.
Tint, Ribbon, and Coffret looked at the small gorge that's in front of them as they see a road leading to the volcano. The three fairies turned to the Pretty Cure team.
"Hey guys, I think this road leads to the volcano." Tint said to the team.
"If we follow this path, maybe we will get to that volcano-desu wa." Ribbon stated.
"Yeah, I agree with them-desu." Coffret.
Everyone looked at the road leading to the volcano, but some of the Pretty Cures are bit concern of taking the path to the volcano.
"Well…, we won't save Spectrum Land by standing here." Akane noted everyone. "We should get a move on."
"Yeah, you're right." Matt agreed, "Our world is losing color and life fast, so we need to move."
"I don't like doing this, but looks like we have no choice." Rikka said in little concern.
"Alright then, let's go everyone." Yuri commanded.
Everyone agreed, and they all started to walk on the road leading to the volcano.
Back in Pigment Village, Tone, one of Tint's best fairy friends, is revisiting his village again as he is in the Create-Your-Own Café. While he was drinking a tropical juice, Tone is writing his notes and records in his journal of his last travel he visited in Yellow Desert.
"That's done." Tone said to himself, "Learning a lot about pottery's shapes and sizes is really helpful in my study." Tone then begins to think, "Now, where should I go next?" As Tone is thinking…
"Hey-a Tone." Tone heard the voice and turned towards it. Appearing before Tone is Hue wearing his sunglasses and grinning at him.
Tone smiles to see Hue. "Hey Hue!" Tone said happily, "What's up?"
"Nothing much, just hanging around. How about yourself?"
"I just finished visiting Yellow Desert, and I'm writing down every single note I learned from that place. But I have to say, without those Pretty Cures stopping those Blots back there, that town will be in crumbles."
Hue grins, "It's a good thing that the Pretty Cures are here to save Spectrum Land. We're going to need their help and believe in them to stop the Blots once and for all."
"How's it going with your job, Hue?"
Hue still smiles, "Same as always. I just spread the word that the Pretty Cures already got three Wonder Colors in their possession, and they're progressing well."
"Already!?" Tone was surprised but amazed to hear the good news. "Those Pretty Cures are really doing a great job." Hue smiles to see Tone's happy reaction. "If those Pretty Cures can achieve anything, then I will achieve my dream goal. I'm learning everything I can about Spectrum Land so I can protect the citizens and make everyone live in peace," Tone turns to Hue, "just like you Hue."
"I'm sure if work really hard, you'll become just like me soon enough." Hue lifts his sunglasses for a moment and gives a wink at Tone. "I know you can." Tone winks back at Hue, and Hue puts his sunglasses back on over his eyes. "So Tone, where are you heading now?"
"I was thinking of going to Purple Bog as my next stop to learn about Spectrum Land's areas and culture."
"Sounds like an interesting place. Well kid, I'm rooting ya."
"Thanks." But after that last compliment, Tone makes a concern thought to Hue. "Hey, just wondering, do you think Tint will achieve her dream goal?"
Hue makes a concern look on his face, then he replies. "Well, it all depends on her. If she believes in her heart and that she can overcome her challenge, then I'll bet my pants that she will achieve her dream." Tone looks away wondering if Tint will achieve her dream goal.
Back in the gorge of Red Volcano, the Pretty Cure team is walking on the road heading toward to the volcano. But along the way, some of the Pretty Cure girls, the fairies, Matt and Tint, started to feel sweaty of the humidity of the smoky heat. Some fan their clothes while some use their hands to fan their face.
"Oh man, this humidity is killing me." Kurumi complained as she fans herself.
"You said it," Aguri agreed as she fans herself, "I feel like a melting ice cream."
"Kyupi…" Ai-chan agreed as she is sweating in Aguri's arms.
"It feels like Yellow Desert again…" Ellen complained as she fans her body using her clothes.
"Only this time it's not hot but muggy." Ako followed up as she is next to Ellen and sweating herself.
"I just hope the next town we reach will have lots of water for us to drink." Matt hoped. Everyone agreed with Matt with a nod.
"Ahhh, we should've brought some water bottles with us on this trip." Hime noted and complained.
"Yeah…," Megumi replied as she sweats a lot.
But while everyone is under the complaining of the humidity, Yuko, sweating a little bit, smiles as she pretends to hold a microphone in right hand as she starts to sing. "'Let's eat,' and 'Thanks for the meal.' -Those sayings, full of smiles. -A happy meal makes today happy too. -I want to eat rice with an egg on top. -Delicious homemade food, that's also special."
Just then, after hearing Yuko's song, everyone on the team slowly stopped complaining and sweating, and they slowly start to feel the beat of Yuko's song.
"Even if there aren't side dishes, that's okay too. -The side of our smile, there is always a warm rice."
Then the whole team suddenly stopped sweating and complaining as they all grinned and feel the beat within themselves and feels the rhythm of the song. Some swung their head side to side, some step their feet to the rhythm of the song, and Matt snaps his fingers to the rhythm of the song.
"A dream is a large serving, heaping up. -If we all eat together, we'll be full of energy! -Rice is the energy of love! -Ah! Rice is delicious! -Ah! Rice is de…li…cous!"
Once Yuko's song ended, everyone turned to her with a big smile on their faces.
"Yuko! Are you the one who sang that song?" Matt asked in surprise.
"Yes, of course." Yuko happily replied, "Why?"
"That song… was truly amazing." Tint said in great joy. "I've never heard of a majestic song like that in a while."
"Yeah I agree," Hummy followed up, "It was music to my ears-nya."
"True music to my ears for me." Ako said with a smile.
"Ditto." Ellen followed up.
"I'm really glad you all liked it." Yuko said with a smile, "I made that song all by myself."
"Wow, now that's talent." Rin said with a grin.
"Now doubt, I really like your song." Nao said with a wink and thumbs-up.
"Yeah, your song really lifted our spirits from this sweaty heat." Itsuki said with a grin.
"That's our Yuko." Hime said with confidence, "She always sings her song whenever we feel down."
"Yep," Megumi agreed, "Yuko's song of delicious rice always makes us happy."
Iona also agrees with Hime and Megumi as she nods. Yuko, being complimented by her friends and teammates, makes a cheerful smile.
"Hey! Who sang that wonderful song!?" Suddenly the team heard a voice out of nowhere. They looked to see who made that shout, but there no one in sight except large rocks in the path and small trees on the gorge's walls.
"Um…, who said that!?" Yayoi shouted in little fright.
"Over here! Behind the large rock!" The team looked and heard where the shout came from. All they saw is a large boulder in the path, but after few seconds… "Hey there people." Popped out from behind the boulder and appeared to the team is a young preteen boy wearing blue overalls with a pocket on the chest and a red shirt inside of it. Then a little t-rex of the same height of the boy came out too with light green color all over on his body and a white colored belly.
"Are you the one who called out to us?" Inori asked.
"Yep, sorry if I scared ya." the boy replied.
"Not at all." Karen gently replied, "But who are you?"
"Oh sorry, my name is Tino. And this here is my pet t-rex dinosaur Dino."
"Hi everyone! Please to meet you." Dino said in a cheerful voice.
Some of the Pretty Cure girls were surprised to see a dinosaur in real life and that it can actually.
"Wow, I never saw a dinosaur in real life before." Nozomi said in amazement.
"Yeah, and one that can actually talk." Yayoi followed up in awe.
"Well, let you know girls, in our world dinosaurs don't exist," Iona stated to them, "but we're in another world, so the possibility of dinosaurs' existence live here."
Nozomi and Yayoi paused a moment for a thought, and then the two realized the fact. "Oh yeah…, now that you mentioned it." Nozomi said.
"Jeez, Nozomi…" Rin said in little embarrassment.
"You know Tino and Dino," Matt speaks, "you together reminded of two characters I once played on."
"Let me guess," Akane speaks to Matt, "a video game?"
"Yeah, it's the same Italian guy I mentioned early, but he had a green dinosaur with him. Though I forgot the name of that green dino." Matt kept thinking about it, but he snaps out from his thinking memory. "Anyway Tino…, did you asked a question for us earlier?"
"Yeah, I asked who sang that marvelous song." Tino asked.
"Oh, that was Yuko." Megumi stated and pointed to her friend. "And she is also made that song too."
"Really? Well, I have to say, I really like your song Yuko."
"Gee, uh…, thanks." Yuko said with little embarrassment.
"Oh, we didn't mean to shy you."
"Yeah," Dino speaks up, "it's just that we Sculptville people really like to sing songs."
"Sculptville?" Love asked.
"Yeah," Tino speaks, "It's our peaceful and tuneful home."
But Tino and Dino started to turn depress. "Well, it was our peaceful and tuneful home." Dino said with little sadness.
"Was?" Rikka said in surprise.
"W-What happened?" Mana asked.
"Apparently this group of black people suddenly stormed our home and took over." Tino stated.
"When that happened, we had to flee for our lives." Dino stated next.
"Black people?" Rin said in little shock, "Did they look mean, look like humanoids, and have mean eyes?"
"Yeah, that's them." Tino said in realization.
"Then those are the Blots." Honoka stated in shock.
"They must've gotten to the town before we did." Nagisa noted.
"But they haven't conquered Red Volcano yet, so we've still got time to stop them." Reika said and confirmed.
"So that's who the bad guys are." Tino said.
"But how are you girls are going to stop them?" Dino asked who is confused by the Pretty Cure girls' appearance.
"Well, you may not know it," Miyuki said with a wink to Tino and Dino, "but we are the Pretty Cures here to save your world."
But the reaction of Tino and Dino got them a little odd and confused. "Yeah…," Tino said in confusion, "we find that very hard to believe."
"Yeah," Dino speaks, "no offense, but you look like ordinary plain girls to me."
"It's the truth." Tint said as she flies in front of Tino and Dino. "You guys have to wait until we get to your town and see the action."
"I don't know, but I hope you're right when we get to our town." Tino said.
"Trust us." Hibiki said, "We are telling you the truth."
"Well, it's just… we're still not sure if we can trust you." Dino said in concern.
"Yeah," Tino speaks and follows, "with those bad guys Blots around, we just don't know if you're really one of them in disguise."
"Perhaps this will help." Matt said as he digs into his messenger bag. He found what he was looking for and shows it to Tino and Dino. Matt showed the two guys the Wonder Color Case. "This is the Wonder Color Case. Will this be enough that we're good guys?"
"The Wonder Color Case?" Tino said in wonderment. Tino and Dino begin to think about what the case is, until Dino realized something.
"(Gasp)… The Wonder Color Case!" Dino shouted in surprise, "Of course."
"You mean… you know it?"
"How could you not Tino. Remember what the mayor and the chief dinosaur said back then? They said whoever carries the one and only Wonder Color Case is the legendary Pretty Cures here to save our world."
When Tino heard that, Tino widen his eyes in realization. "Of course! Now I remember!" The two boys looked back at the Pretty Cure team. "So that means…"
"You're really the Pretty Cures of Spectrum Land." Dino finished the sentence.
"Now you know guys." Karen said with a grin.
"Boy, this case sure is a handy-dandy identification card." Matt said in little surprise.
"Uh, one question though…," Tino said in little confusion, "how are you going to fight those Blots in those get-ups?"
"You'll find out when we get to your hometown." Tint said calmly.
"Well, we're sorry if we suspected you as part of the Blots." Dino said regretfully, "We just wanna to make sure you're not one of them and try to hurt us."
"It's alright," Tsubomi said gently, "at least you know we're not evil."
"We really want to help you." Ako said with a firm tone, "Will you take us to your town?"
"Well if you say you are the Pretty Cures, then yeah, we'll take you." Tino said though is still a bit confused of seeing normal girls coming to Tino and Dino's aid.
The Pretty Cure smile to hear a citizen taking them to his hometown. "Thank you very much Tino." Nozomi said happily as she bowed in thanks.
"One last thing," Matt speaks up, "Have you ever heard an important and powerful object called the Wonder Color?"
"Wonder Color?" Tino said in question. He begins to think, until he came with a thought. "I think I've heard of it, but I don't know much about."
"I heard of it too," Dino followed, "but I don't know a lot about that either. Maybe the mayor and the dinosaur chief might know."
"Well, we know we're on the right track to find that next Wonder Color." Makoto stated.
"For sure." Nao agreed.
"Alright Tino and Dino," Hime speaks, "lead the way."
"Okay," Tino said happily, "but I hope you know what you are going to do when we get to our home and encounter those blots."
"Trust us." Aguri said and winked, "And you'll be surprised."
"Kyu-pi!" baby Ai agrees with Aguri.
"Alrighty, follow us." Dino said.
And soon Tino and Dino led the way as the Pretty Cure team followed the two boys down the gorge road.
Back at Sage Mark's house, the sage sits quietly in his comfortable chair as he is taking is delicious afternoon tea. He's in his living room drinking and thinking quietly about the Pretty Cures' mission. "Ah…, a good red berry herbal flavor tea really makes me quiet and happy." he said with grin. He takes a sip of his tea, and then he speaks, "I wonder how those Pretty Cures are doing? They made it so far by collecting three Wonder Colors. If this keeps up, Spectrum Land will guarantee to be saved." But then he makes a concern look, "But the Pretty Cures' home world is losing their colors fast. Not to mention all their people dying. I only hope those Pretty Cures will find those Wonder Colors fast before the whole galaxy's colors will disappear."
Just when he's about to make another sip from his cup of tea, his crystal ball started to glow repeating on and off. Sage Mark noticed, and he touch it to answer the crystal ball's call. Appearing inside the crystal ball is the lovely Sage Pencillia from Crafty Town.
"Sage Pencillia, good to see you." Sage Mark said with delight.
"Hello Mark, it's been a while." Sage Pencillia said from the crystal ball.
"What brings you here in my house?"
"I was wondering how the Pretty Cures are progressing on their mission and journey?"
"I'd say they're doing really well. To tell you the truth, they've already got three Wonder Colors in their hands."
Pencillia smiles with great joy, "That's really great news."
"Indeed…" Sage Mark raises his cup of tea to let Pencillia know she's correct, then he takes a sip of his tea.
"But I also called you for another reason Mark."
Mark heard as he raises one of his eyebrows. "What is it?"
"I've been researching a lot about our enemy, and I think you should hear what I've encountered and discovered."
Mark puts his cup down on his saucer and on the table. "Go ahead, I'm listening…"
Meanwhile back in Red Volcano, the Pretty Cure team kept following Tino and Dino as they are all in the gorge path. The air is still muggy as some of the Pretty Cure team members started to sweat a little.
As everyone kept on walking, a question came into Matt's mind. "Say Tino, I was wondering." he asked. "How did you and Dino become good friends, especially to an animal who suppose to be extinct?"
"Huh? What do you mean?" Tino asked.
Then Akane came in and abruptly punches Matt's arm using her elbow. "Matt, have you forgotten where in another world?"
Matt realized that and widens his eyes. "Oh yeah, right, I forgot were in another world." Akane sighed. Matt quickly reacted and speaks, "Well Tino, what I mean to say is how you became best friends to a special creature like him."
"Oh, that's what you mean." Tino said in understanding. "Well…, it started way back when I was six years old…" A memory came to him.
I was living happily in Sculptville as I practiced hard creating a figure from a marble rock. In Sculptville, we have a lot of marble rocks we collect from the caves nearby, excavate them, and use them to make incredible sculptures. My mother and father own a shop in the town's market district, and business has been booming. But even though the art business is really doing well, what I really wanted back then was my very own dinosaur pet. A lot people at home own a dinosaur pet, because since ancient times in Sculptville, people have dinosaurs as partners to make their homes, gather food, and most of all help us make our sculptures. Our dinosaur pets are a symbol to a man's best friend. I got my very own pet when I turned six on my birthday. Mom and Dad gave a dinosaur egg with blue ribbon on it, and that it was in a basket. I took really care of it, and soon the egg hatched and out came a baby friendly T-rex. I was so happy, and I got to hear the first word from my pet. He said, "Da-da!" I was really happy and I called him Dino. And over the years, Dino and I loved to play around in town, explore the areas outside of the town, and of course like to make sculptures.
Tino's memory ended, but he keeps talking. "And we are still good buddies, since we first met."
"Wow, what a great story." Yayoi said with a smile.
"But that got me curious on one thing." Rikka speaks, "Where did your parents get that dinosaur egg from?"
"Oh, I can tell you that part." Dino said as he turned around to the Pretty Cure team. "The people said that all of the dinosaur eggs come from the big volcano that's a few miles away from the town."
The Pretty Cure team blinked at Dino's statement, including Tint. "Wait, the volcano you said-coco?" Coco said in wonderment.
"That's right. Believe or not, legend says that inside that huge volcano contains a huge and powerful dragon that watches over Red Volcano, our homeland, and is the caretaker of the eggs. In fact, that dragon is the one creating the eggs, and I mean he makes the eggs by hand."
"Creating by hand!?" Tarte said in surprise.
"But, how can that be possible-mepu?" Mepple asked in confusion.
"That I'm not sure." Dino said with a shrug, "But I do know is that the citizens of Sculptville were able to find out that the eggs were coming from the volcano. They tracked it down when they first encountered the eggs in a calm flowing river that's the near the village. The river started from all the way from the volcano and ended up in the town's water supply. Whenever the people see an egg in the river, they instantly grabbed it and take it in for nursing."
"Where did you learn this stuff-natsu?" Natts asked.
"Oh, I learned this at Dinosaur Academy. All dinosaurs like me need their educational stuff."
"They have a dinosaur school here in Spectrum Land?" Kanade said in little embarrassment.
"Hey, we're in another world Kanade." Hibiki mentions to her friend.
Everything is quiet again and calmy, until… "GAAAAAAAAA!" A loud screeching sound was shouted causing the Pretty Cure team, Tino, and Dino to cover their ears.
"What was that!?" Love shouted in fright.
"That was really loud!" Erika shouted.
When everyone recovered from the screeching sound, they looked to see where the sound came from. It was then Matt looked up and spotted the source. "Hey, look!" Matt shouted to everyone and pointed. Everyone did look to where Matt is pointing and were surprised to see what was in the sky. Tino and Dino see it, but remained calm and smiled.
Flying in the sky and circling around is a giant pterodactyl. It is big as helicopter. The flying prehistoric creature spotted the team, Tino, and Dino on the ground and swoops in towards them. As it was coming in close, the team braced themselves of the incoming pterodactyl. But when the flying creature got close to the ground, it safely landed in the ground with it's two clawed feet and folds it's wings. The pterodactyl stood still as it gaze at the team with a firm look. Some of the Pretty Cure team members looked a little nervous by the pterodactyl's stern face at them.
"Wh-Wh-What is that…!?" Nao said in fright.
"That's a pterodactyl." Reika stated. "And a big one too."
"Nice big flying guy…" Akane said in little fright, "We don't want any trouble."
"Who are you guys?" The Pretty Cure team heard a woman's voice coming from the pterodactyl. They stared at the creature with confusion that if the creature said it like Dino can talk. But a woman got off of the pterodactyl and landed next to it. The team, Tino, and Dino spotted the woman.
The woman looked young like in her early 30s and is about five feet tall. She has long blonde hair, golden earrings, thick azure bracelets, and she wears pink lipstick. She is also wearing an ancient dress like in the ancient times of the pyramids. The woman looked at the team with a stern look on her face. "May I ask who you guys are?" she demanded.
The Pretty Cure team was a bit scared of the woman and the pterodactyl to say anything, but Tino and Dino are happy to see her. "Miss Maya, good to see you." Tino said with a grin.
Maya the woman noticed Tino and Dino, and she blinked in surprise to see them. "Tino, Dino, what are you doing here?" Maya asked.
"We ran away from those bad people, and we hid in this gorge." Dino stated. "But don't you worry, we're fine."
"So I see. But I'm asking who these people are? Judging by their appearance, they don't look like residents of Sculptville, in fact they don't look like residents of Spectrum Land." Maya started to turn into an aggressive face towards the Pretty Cure which makes them a little more scared. "Are these kids happened to be part of those black goons that are attacking our town?"
"No Maya!" Tino shouted, "You've got it all wrong."
"These girls, fairies, and that boy are the Pretty Cures." Dino stated.
When she heard that word, Pretty Cure, Maya blinked in shock to see the heroes of Spectrum Land. Though, she still is not convinced due to the Pretty Cures' civilian appearance. "I find it hard to believe these girls are the heroes to save Spectrum Land." Maya said in a firm tone. "How do I know you're the true heroes?"
"Matt…" Yuri said to him.
Matt nodded, and once again he pulled out the Wonder Color Case and shows it to Maya. "Will this be enough proof?"
"And what's that?" Maya asked.
"It's the Wonder Color Case."
When Maya heard that name of the special object, she blinked and then widens her eyes in surprise. No doubt about it, Maya is seeing the true heroes of Spectrum Land. "My gravels!" Maya said in shock, "It really is you, the Pretty Cures." She then bows to the team. "My apologies everyone. I didn't mean to cause a fight. I was just concern of who I'm up against. But uh…, the way you look, you don't look like fighting warriors to me."
"That's because we haven't transformed into Pretty Cures yet." Hime stated.
"But when we go up against the enemy, then you'll be amazed when we transform." Itsuki said with a wink.
"Well, I trust you." Maya said calmly, "You proved to me that you're the Pretty Cures when you showed me that case." She then greets the Pretty Cure team with a bow again. "My name is Maya, and I'm one of the superior caretakers of the dinosaur eggs and babies in Sculptville." She stood up and shows her pterodactyl. "And this pterodactyl of mine is Aero."
"Please to meet you all." Aero said in a manly voice.
"I knew he would talk." Inori said with a grin.
"And it's a good thing to find you young warriors too." Aero continued to talk, "Those black goons, I think you called them the Blots, are starting to take over our town. Them and a guy in white are searching a valuable and most special object called the Wonder Color of Red Volcano."
"The white guy Aero said must be Erass." Karen noted.
"You're right," Aguri agreed, "he must be looking for it too."
"Kyu-pi!" Ai agreed with Aguri.
Aero continues talking, "A lot of our dinosaur people tried to fight back at those indiscreet blobs, but there are too many of them, and they are strong. Me and Maya managed to escape, but I don't know what happened to our home and people. We were about to head over to Rainbow Castle in assistance for help and when the Pretty Cures would come to our aid, that is until we met you guys now."
"Sculptville is in deep trouble." Maya said in concern. "And it's only a matter of time before the Blots take control over our town. Pretty Cures, I'm glad we found you, but we're begging you to please save our home and our people. The mayor, the chief dinosaur, everyone, especially those baby dinosaurs. Will you please help us?"
"Of course Maya." Mana said with confidence, "We are Pretty Cure, and we fight to protect those people in need of help."
"Don't get too confident Mana." Rikka said in little exasperation.
"You can count on us Maya." Saki said and winked. "We'll stop those Blots once and for all. After all, we do beat them every time. Am I right Mai?"
"Uh…, right Saki." Mai said in little embarrassment.
Everyone else on the Pretty Cure team agreed to save Tino, Dino, Maya, and Aero's town.
Tino walks up to Maya and asks her. "Hey Maya," he said, "How are my parents doing?"
Maya makes a concern look to Tino. "I'm not sure." Maya replied, "I just hope they are okay." Tino started to feel concern about his parents thinking maybe the Blots may already hurt them.
Just then, Dino smells something in air. "(Sniff)(Sniff)(Sniff) Hey, I smell something…" Dino said.
"What is it?" Tino asked and heard his pet.
"It smells like… (sniffing)… smoke."
"Smoke?"
When Maya and Aero heard smoke, they flinched in shock. "Oh no!" Maya said in shock.
"Wh-What's wrong?" Tsubomi asked.
"HEY! Look!" Tarte shouted and pointed to the sky.
Everyone did, and they were stunned to see smoke floating into the air. "Is there a fire-ropu?"
"There can't be any wild fires around in this gorge area." Aero stated. "Unless…,"
Tino, Dino, Maya, and Aero then became shocked and scared. "The town!" they all said in unison.
Maya quickly got onto Aero, and he flies with Maya into the air and heads towards the source of the smoke. Tino and Dino turned towards to the team. "Pretty Cures! Follow us!" Tino shouted and demanded. Tino hopped onto Dino, and the two dashed off further down of the gorge's path.
"C'mon everyone!" Nozomi demanded. The Pretty Cure team took off and ran down the gorge's path to catch up to Tino and Dino.
Soon enough, the Pretty Cure team arrived at the end of the path that shows a cliff. Once the team made it out of the gorge, they found Tino and Dino at the edge of the cliff with Maya and Aero next to the two. But the Pretty Cure team is shocked to see that the cliff's view shows the town of Sculptville being under attacked. Some of buildings made out of stone and hard wood are on fire as the smoke rises from the buildings all the way to the sky.
"NO!" Tino cried.
"Our home!" Dino shouted.
"This is not good." Aero said in great concern, "The Blots are making their demolition move."
"Pretty soon, our home will be nothing but an ashtray." Maya said in little fright.
Tino, Dino, Maya, and Aero turned to the Pretty Cure team. "Pretty Cures can you please help us?" Tino begged.
The team looked at each other for moment, and then they all nod in agreement.
"You can count on us." Megumi said with confidence.
"We'll save Sculptville before it's too late." Kurumi claimed.
"We won't let those Blots destroy your home for good." Komachi said in a firm tone.
Tino, Dino, Maya, and Aero smiled to see the Pretty Cure helping their aid.
"Just show us how to get there." Honoka demanded.
"Just follow us." Dino said.
Tino, Dino, Maya, and Aero lead the way as they came upon a path that leads straight down from the cliff to the ground. The Pretty Cure team followed the Sculptville residents without hesitation. It's only a matter of time to reach Sculptville before it's too late.
