Snape's Bedchambers, Selsmire Keep, Unknown World...

Visions of blood and death filled the intently focused obsidian eyes of Severus Snape as he turned his undivided attention back to his beautiful mate. Their equally naked bodies intertwined amid expensive and custom crafted sheets found bliss in the pleasurable sensations building between them. The older vampirian lord sunk his prominent fangs into the neck of his beloved drinking of her warm dark crimson blood in the wake of their sexual play.

"Oh..." moaned Hermione loving the feel of his fangs sinking into her sweat blasted flesh.

The gentle suckling of her life essence had brought about a mix of pleasurable pain as he continued to thrust his impressive pale lengthy into her warm depths. A welcome distraction given the weight of all that stood before them. There was no doubt in her mind that her mate had grown quite tired of fighting and now it seemed they were about to be plunged head first into yet another bloody war so soon after escaping the last in the wizarding world.

A low growl erupted from Snape as he continued to brutally thrust into his mate. His eyes glowing a rather strange yellowish color as he jolted her bare body along their shared bed. He eyed her breasts greedily sinking his fangs into the soft flesh and suckling her vampiric blood from them as if he'd been a babe nursing fresh out of the womb.

The amber eyes of Vampirian Witch Hermione Granger began to glow as bright as her mate's had in the wake of their heated coupling. She had access to the same heart wrenching blood memories that had shaken him to his very core.

The familiar vision of the former Lord of Selsmire Keep came to her and she witnessed his epic battles with the one named Lord Harkon. She could see for herself that this was a vastly formidable enemy and if they were to survive, the were going to have to learn as much as they could about this curious new world before they proceeded to stand against him.

For the time being, the vast underestimation of Severus' capabilities had been the only means they had to stand against the coming tide of darkness.

The Vampirian Lord Severus Snape gasped as he felt his release rip through him. His sweat blasted raven hair stuck to his slick pale flesh as he collapsed onto his mate weaker than he'd ever been in his entire new existence.

Hermione moaned loving the feel of his heated body on against her own sweat blanketed pale flesh.

"Severus..." She said pleased to be one with him.

Snape gently nibbled along her neck lapping at the slick flesh. It wasn't long before his fangs sank into her and he began drinking of her once again.

It was a rather pleasing sensation for both of them and a further implication of their undying devotion to each other.

The two of them drifted off into a deep coma like slumber once the mutual feeding had been done.

The Grounds, Selsmire Keep, Unknown World...

Snape readied himself for the coming flight from the Keep to the Wizarding World. Hermione had taken it upon herself to accompany him knowing all too well what had been at stake.

She also knew how difficult it was going to be for him to speak to Harry Potter of all people and he was whom they needed to sway the Wizarding public to wage another war, this time against an unknown enemy.

The prospect of fighting another war continued to weigh heavily upon Severus Snape despite appearances but he knew the only reason anyone had hope for survival in the near future was due to Versileius apparent faith in him.

"Are you alright?" asked Hermione noting his brief look of sadness.

"I'm fine" replied Snape meeting her gaze. "Just a minor recollection of the old man."

"I'm sure you'll do him proud, Severus." she said reassuring him.

"I have little choice to do otherwise." he replied despite appreciating her attempt to make him feel better.

Hermione sighed getting ready to take her first flight since he brought her to this place. It was all together exciting and mysterious to be embarking on another grand adventure, only this time it would be to save three worlds instead of two and she'd be doing it with the greatest Hero either world had ever seen.

Despite her anticipation of adventure, The Vampirian witch had known all too well the sadness her accomplished mate carried deep within him, he'd only recently discovered his father and now he was gone. She couldn't imagine what it must have been like to spend what must have seemed like two life times being hated and scorned for one's very existence and finally find acceptance in the form of a father whom had always loved him and see the man taken away before any further bonding could be done.

Turning his attention to the task at hand, Severus Snape was once more the wizard whom had to shoulder the responsibility for keeping multiple worlds safe from encroaching darkness. He attempted to take comfort in his mate's words when she reminded him that this time, he wouldn't be doing it alone.

"We have some flying to do." he said beginning the focus needed for taking to the air.

Hermione nodded doing the same and it wasn't long before they took off into the early morning sky determined to get as much assistance to gather as possible for what lie ahead.

Open Sky, Unknown World...

Severus Snape had been as silent as the twinkling stars that loomed above his and his mates collective heads as they flew high above one of the worlds due to their vampiric abilities. It had been quite some time before the Vampirians fed and they found themselves above a clearing with deer running rampant as if they had not a care in the world.

"You must feed." said Snape suddenly breaking the silence after studying his mate's murderous expression as she looked upon the deer feeding in the clearing.

She only nodded in agreement her nose taking in the intoxicating scent of spilled blood, while her ears enjoyed the life giving rush of it pumping threw the heart of the intended prey.

No sooner had they landed in the clearing, Hermione took off aimed at chasing down her prey leaving her mate behind. The call of blood had been intense as she zipped through the grassy clearing and launched her slender frame into the air.

Snape had been in pursuit of the deer as well succumbing to his need to feed and relishing the hunt as he moved ever swiftly through the clearing in a bid to corner the unsuspecting deer. In one swoop, Hermione seized the prey grasping it via her jaws around it's throat as it thrashed seconds before her body pinned it into the ground. Snape snarled leaping to capture it's hind-leg sinking his fangs into the deer himself.

The beast howled and mewed only to be silenced as it's heart had no more blood to pump to it's remaining organs after the two Vampirians drained it dry. Snape stretched for a moment before collapsing onto the ground feeling the rush of his vampiric vigor following a successful feeding.

Hermione collapsed beside him taking a moment to come to her senses following the hunt. She wrestled with her lover amid the blood slick grass enjoying the scent of a fresh kill and the intoxicating effect it had on them. Both knew that once they recovered it would be business as usual concerning the alliance needed to put an end to Harkkon's reign of terror.

For the moment they simply recovered from their hunt. True to their nature, neither of them had been able to resist the call of blood.
