:Hi guys! I'm getting more and more used to this, but at the same time I still have problems but oh well! I'm glad you all like this story, it makes me really happy! I hope you like this chapter!:

"Yugi, wake up." Joey sighed, poking at the cotton lump in the other bunk bed. He narrowed his eyes as the lump simply moved away, making a slight grumble as it turned over. Yugi usually always got up early, but today he was getting up extra early for one reason and one reason only. Today was a day that they were practicing a special scene in the play, and him and Yugi had to practice for the whole school period. Joey didn't really like the scene, he didn't mind it, he just didn't want to do it. He also didn't exactly want to get up at this time just to practice a certain act, but the teacher insisted. She had said that with how Yugi is, they would be grateful if it only lasted 4 hours trying to get him to do it correctly. Joey looked back up at the bunk, breathing in and exhaling.

"Come on..." Joey groaned, reaching up to the top bunk once more and poking it. He saw a hand crawl it's way out, pulling at the blanket to cover the body under it more. As if that was possible, Yugi was hiding under the damn thing as if he was a turtle and that was his shell!
"Yugi!" Joey yelled, reaching a hand up and shaking the holy hell out of the poor boy. Yugi let out a loud groan at this, not wanting to get up. Truth be told, he was fully awake, he just didn't want to get up to practice. He would have been okay with it if he was, maybe the dad? Wahankh? Someone other than Khu! He knew why he had been chosen, but he hated practicing this one scene, just that one. Everything else was okay, it was just that scene...Maybe if he tried hard enough, he could fake being sick.

"Will you two be quiet?!" Bakura shot up from his laying position, his hair a tangled and ruffled mess. Joey shot a glance at him, raising an eyebrow at him. He looked dead tired, as if he had gotten no sleep at all that night. Sure, it was four in the morning, but Bakura had come back to the dorm at around nine and went straight to bed. He shouldn't be this tired.

"What's gotten into you?"

"Nothing! It's not like it's four in the morning or anything!"

"Oh come on, four in the morning is not that early."

"Says the one who usually sleeps in!"

"Bakura was awake last night thinking about Malik, don't worry about it." Yugi yawned, finally deciding to sit up and take the blanket off his head. Hey, Bakura and Joey arguing was funny to watch, and also they were so loud they could wake the dead. Joey turned to Yugi and smiled as Bakura flushed a bright pink and grabbed his blanket, throwing it over himself and thumping back down onto his bunk.

"Good morning, Khu." Joey sung out, crossing his arms with a smirk instead of a smile. Yugi stretched and rose an eyebrow at him, oh very funny...

"Good morning..." Yugi jumped down, yawning once more and narrowing his eyes at Joey. "Wahankh." Joey smiled brightly at that.

"Yup, your Wahankh."

"Uh huh..." Yugi rolled his eyes. "If I see Seto, Imma tell on you." Joey's eyes widened, his face turning red as Yugi walked over to a closet and opened it.

"Don't you dare!"

"Oh, so that works now huh?"

"What works?!"

"I'm going to assume you and Seto are going steady now, okay?"

"We are not going steady!"

"Didn't I tell you blokes to shut up?!" Bakura snapped, sitting back up and throwing the blanket off of him. Yugi shot a gaze at him, raising an eyebrow as he took his time looking for his clothes.

"No. You told us to be quiet."

"Same thing!"

"Keep snapping at me, and I'm going to tell on you."

"Tell who?"

"Malik."

"Like I care if you tell him or not." Bakura grumbled, a slight pink crawling across his cheeks. Joey rose an eyebrow at his friend, crossing his arms and looking up at him. Bakura looked back at him, noticing he was fully dressed. Oh yeah, they had that day long practice thing today.

"Where were you yesterday?" Joey asked, already knowing where he was. It wasn't hard to put together clues of where certain people disappear to. Since Anzu and himself were absent from lunch during their royal lunch, he already knew that Bakura was with Malik.

"None of your business." Bakura responded, hurling a pillow at Joey's face and smacking him dead on. Joey glared at his friend, turning around and seeing Yugi pretend to be looking for something in the closet.

"He was with Malik, unless you were too stupid not to know that." Yugi told Joey, looking around the closet for really nothing. He couldn't say he was looking for his script, it was on his desk. He couldn't say he was looking for his uniform, it was right in front of him. And he couldn't say he was looking for his socks and shoes, because again, they were right in front of him.

"No, I knew." Joey yawned, turning his head and checking the time real quick. "I just wanted to rile him up, that's all." Bakura glared at the blonde, contemplating on whether to suffocate him or not with his other pillow. Joey turned his head back around, narrowing his eyes at his shortest friend as he kept searching the closet.

"What are you looking for?"

"Nothing, I'm just wasting time really."

"Can we not waste time, please?"

"No. I'm going to waste time, because..." Yugi stopped, thinking for a quick moment. "I don't feel good. My stomach hurts."

"Bullshit, Yugi." Bakura called out, jumping down from the bunk. He wasn't going to get any sleep with Yugi being in a pissy mood, so why bother trying? He had a test, he could study or something for a couple hours.

"Hey, I could have eaten something that upset my stomach yesterday." Yugi turned around, watching as Bakura sat at a desk and pulled out a Demonology book. "But you wouldn't know, because you were too busy having lunch with a certain tanned royal." Bakura blushed, mumbling out a few sentences as he read through the book.

"Yugi, three out of four of them are tan."

"Shut up, Joey." Yugi chuckled, grabbing his uniform and placing it carefully, and slowly on his bottom bunk. He crossed his arms, popping a hip as he stared down at his uniform. He didn't want to go, he really didn't want to go practice. He hated this scene, he hated this act. Why couldn't he really be sick and stay in the dorm, it would be so much better than being dressed up as a girl again. In this rehearsal, since it was of a full act in one day, he would be forced into a dress...Yugi really did not want to be in a dress.

"What's wrong, Yugi?" Joey questioned, watching as his friend turned toward him and shot another glance at his uniform.

"I seem to have misplaced my tie..."

"It's on the uniform!"

"No, that's a yellow tie, our tie is golden."

"Stop stalling!"

Atemu looked up at his bathroom ceiling, counting the squares in it as he rested in a bathtub. He always took a bath in the morning, he hadn't figured out the shower thing yet, but he would in time most likely. He relaxed, slouching in it as he thought over his companions. From what he had seen and heard from them, all three of them had their lunch already. That meant that his lunch was to be soon, he was just worried about one thing. It wasn't about Yugi possibly hitting him again, it wasn't about the food, it wasn't about him being nervous. It was about how to get Yugi to even come along with him. Heck, Atemu had been surprised to find out that Malik's lunch had went along fine, the guy had been smiling as brightly as can be when he came back the other day. But Yugi would be a challenge, that beautiful person...

Atemu breathed in the soapy air around him, smelling the pomegranate aroma around him. Yugi never left his mind, but he was so sure that he left Yugi's momentarily each day. He knew that Yugi didn't hate him as much as he said he did, but he knew he felt a strong dislike for him though. But it wouldn't explain how Yugi had allowed him to touch his hair that day when he had hugged Malik, he had acted nice for a moment...If only he could be like that all the time...

Knock knock!

"Great..." Atemu sighed, standing up and stepping out of the tub slowly. It was probably a messenger, possibly that girl he had met the first morning here. He looked in the mirror, staring at a fogged up image of himself staring right back. He inhaled through his nose, exhaling slowly before he reached over to where he placed a towel. He dried his hair quickly, the spikes forming immediately as he did this. He placed the towel around his waist, walking out of the bathroom. Thankfully, the person only knocked twice and didn't knock again.

Atemu made his way to the door, taking hold of the knob and opening it. He wasn't surprised when he found that he was right about who would be there. The same girl was there, on her body seemed to be a brown shirt and jeans, she always seemed to wear a simple attire. If he recalled correctly, the girl's name was Serenity, wasn't it?

"Good morning, Serenity." Atemu greeted, hoping he was right about the name. The girl smiled tiredly, bowing a small amount. Geez, she didn't look just tired, she looked dead tired.

"Good morning, Your highness." Serenity responded nicely. She didn't mind the prince, he acted shy but he was nice. He also didn't act all high and mighty, and she respected that. She needed to get used to all of the royals, so she might as well be nice to them. She couldn't help herself being nice to Malik, he was really friendly, and she wouldn't be surprised if she had made a friend yesterday. She didn't really know the princess because she was asleep, but since the prince was shy and such, she would imagine that the royal girl would be somewhat the same. But, she couldn't stop herself from disliking Mr. Kaiba. He better not touch Joey, she told herself, he better not.

"What brings you here?" Atemu questioned, not feeling embarrassed by only being in a towel. He usually walked around without a shirt on in Egypt, so it didn't really feel awkward to him, and Serenity didn't seem to mind at all. Serenity smiled, clearing her throat as she began to speak.

"Your highness, I have come to inform you that today is your day to have lunch with Mr. Yugi Mutou." Serenity spoke clearly and formally. Atemu rose an eyebrow and smirked, how ironic. He had just been thinking about it, and today just so happens to be his day? Nice.

"It will be after all classes have ended in fourth period and the place to have the lunch is located behind this dorm in a cabin." Serenity finished, smiling happily but tiredly. She was tired, she had to get up this early just to tell the royals that their lunch is that day, but she was glad to know that today was the last day for that. Atemu narrowed his eyes at her, noticing how her eyes seemed to droop for just a moment. He rose his hand and snapped his fingers in front of her, making her jump in surprise.

"You need to rest." Atemu told her, furrowing his eyebrows together worriedly. Serenity was the messenger person, right? She needed rest, and also from what he remembered, she had the last name Wheeler. Which meant she was related to Joey. Serenity chuckled awkwardly, shaking her head.

"No, it's fine." She said, a tired smile making it's way back onto her face. "I'll live." Atemu sighed, is she one of those people who like to push themselves to the limit?

"No. You'll worry Joey." Atemu spoke, hoping that would strike a cord. Serenity's eyes widened, did all of the royals know her brother? She bit her lip, if Joey ever did find out she wasn't resting, he would worry...

"I guess..." Serenity looked down, feeling bad for a moment. Why didn't she think of her brother and how he would feel if he knew she wasn't getting enough rest. She felt a hard tap in the middle of her forehead. Serenity let out a small gasp at that, noticing how the prince's hand seemed to be in a weird position. As if he had just flicked someone...Did he just flick my forehead?!

"Cheer up." Atemu smiled at her. Serenity's eyes widened, was a royal worried about her? He chuckled. "That's an order from the prince, okay?" He winked playfully at her, having to restrain a chuckle as she smiled and let out a giggle.

"Alright, your highness."

"Yugi, stop squirming!"

"No! I do not need a damn corset!"

"Yes you do!"

"I do not!"

"He really doesn't, his figure is feminine enough."

"Shut up!" Joey stared at the dressing room door, listening to the conversations that were erupting out of the room with his hand risen, as if he was going to knock before he heard them talking. Were they really putting a corset on his friend?

"I wish Yugi would cooperate a little more..." Joey turned his head, seeing his teacher walk toward him. She stopped beside him, her arms crossed as she, too, looked at the dressing room door. Joey looked down, sighing.

"Can you really blame him, Ms. Valentine?" He questioned. Mai shrugged in response, she couldn't really, but it wasn't her fault that none of the girls had the guts to sing in front of an audience.

"I suppose not, but it would help if he didn't struggle as much. It's just a dress, it won't kill him."

"I think they're putting a corset on him." Mai looked at him, her eyes narrowed in confusion.

"Why? His figure is feminine enough." Joey chuckled at that, if Yugi heard that from the teacher, he would blow a gasket.

"He just doesn't want to look like a girl, I guess."

"A little too late for that..."

"You're harsh, Ms. Valentine."

"I'm just being honest." Mai took a deep breath, placing her hands on her hips as she heard another argument coming out of the dressing room. She turned her eyes back to Joey.

"Do you mind helping me and the others get the dress on Yugi?" She asked, her voice begging for some assistance. "At the rate those girls are going, we won't be able to practice until third period." Joey let out an awkward chuckle. He rolled up his sleeves and cracked his knuckles.

"Alright, let's go dress up Khu."

()()()()()()()()()()()()

Atemu walked into the auditorium, looking around as he entered and tried to become as unnoticeable as possible. He was wearing the school uniform and the gold was a bit hard to hide in the light. If he remembered correctly, Yugi had Drama this period. He looked up at the stage, seeing students perform a scene, a scene where a village was burning apparently. Atemu felt his memories swarm into his head, he remembered this scene. It was the final act for The Red Nile, the saddest one of them all. He remembered singing with Yugi, and how that was the day their bet was made...Wasn't Yugi singing the part that Khu sang? The female lead?

He watched as Joey pretended to be fighting off some soldiers. He was playing Wahankh, obviously...Now where was Yugi? Atemu noticed the teacher standing to the side, observing the act and would clap every now and then to correct a movement or something. They looked fine to him, why would she interrupt them? He tried to remember the act fully, the final act...If Yugi was Khu, he wouldn't come out until near the end of this act. An actor would hang out backstage until they were cued, right?

Atemu walked to the side of the stage, being careful not to be seen by anyone. He really didn't want any attention right now. He looked around, seeing a door near the stage, if that didn't lead backstage than he didn't know what to think. Atemu made his way to the door, opening it just enough so he could slide through through it. He shut it gently, making sure not to make a sound as it closed. He waited for a couple moments, just in case someone came through the door.

Atemu let out a breath he had been holding, good no one was coming. He looked around, it looked similar to where him and Yugi had made their bet. But if he was waiting for his cue, than Yugi would be right behind the stage. He walked around, trying to make out where to go as he walked. Which door would lead to where Yugi would be? And was it even a door he needed to go through?

He stopped, noticing how there was a opening to go somewhere, and how there was noises coming from it. The noises being similar to fighting and fake fire...Well, that would be a good place to look. Atemu made his way through the opening, searching for someone. Finally, he spotted a person standing up, watching the fighting and fire burn the fake village. The person was short, their hair long as it flowed down their back, and on their body appeared to be a long dress...Atemu didn't know if he should approach them or not, but seeing how he saw Joey in some sort of costume, he wouldn't be surprised if the girl he saw was really Yugi.

Atemu decided to try his luck, stepping behind the person and placing a hand around their mouth. The person gasped and began to struggle as Atemu grabbed one of their arms and pulled them away from the place they were standing. He felt the person bite him, okay this had to be Yugi.

"Will you calm down?" Atemu whispered, his mouth right next to the person's ear. Atemu let out a gasp as he felt an elbow jab itself into his ribs, he let go of them, placing a hand on his injury as he fell down on one knee.

"Who-" The person began to speak, before they stopped and fell silent. Atemu looked up, his eyes widening as he observed the person in front of him. It was Yugi, that was for sure...But his hair was down, flowing down his back and a couple strands over his shoulders, on his body was a long tanned dress with a shawl over his shoulders that connected to his wrist bracelets, on his feet were small matching slippers. He was surprised when he observed Yugi with absolutely no makeup on his face, but he could see why. Yugi's natural beauty was wonderful, he didn't need face enhancers.

"Wow." Atemu breathed out, his face turning red at the sight of his interest. Yugi's eyes widened, his face, also, turning a bright color. Why was the royal looking at him like that? No, wait. Why was the royal even here in the first place?!

"What the hell are you doing here?!" Yugi questioned in a harsh whisper. Atemu wanted to know why he was whispering, but he figured it was because if they talked at normal volume they would be found by the teacher. And if Yugi really wanted to be found, he would most likely use his normal voice. Maybe, Yugi didn't want to be here?

"I was looking for you." Atemu told him honestly, his voice also hushed to a whisper. He stood up, the pain in his ribs gone. Yugi narrowed his eyes at him, crossing his arms. The royal hadn't bothered him for a good amount of days and now he was looking for him? He was quite enjoying his little vacation from the idiot.

"Why?"

"I think you know why." Atemu chuckled. Yugi wasn't dumb, and if he thought for a minute he could probably figure it out. Yugi froze, he did know why. Dammit why was the lunch thing today? Wait, everyone else had been absent at lunch on one certain day of the week, so...No wonder it was their lunch, they were the last ones!

"I'm not going." Yugi spoke quickly, turning away from the royal. Atemu rose an eyebrow, he knew that was coming. He needed to convince him somehow though, maybe if he just talked to him for a bit he would change his mind. Atemu walked up beside him, listening to the fighting they could hear from where they were.

"So, why are you in a dress?" Atemu questioned, suddenly changing the subject. Yugi narrowed his eyes at this, taking a quick glance to the royal beside him.

"I'm Khu in this play, the girl." Yugi responded, his face turning red from the knowledge he was a girl in this play. "So, I have to." He didn't want to wear the dress, but he had to. The girls practically forced it on him! He was glad that he was able to stall for a good hour or two.

"It looks good on you."

"I wish it didn't."

"Someone's in a bad mood I see."

"I wonder why, Mr. Cover-my-mouth-and-kidnap-man." Atemu flinched at that. Okay, so he could have gotten his attention a different way, but it got him away from the stage!

"My apologies then, Yugi." Yugi turned his head toward Atemu in surprise, he actually sounded sorry. Atemu turned his head as well, smiling down at the cross dressing boy.

"Is something the matter?" Atemu questioned, his voice soft. Yugi blushed, turning his head quickly back around. What the hell was that about?! Why was his face heating up? Ugh, this day was getting worse and worse by the minute!

"Nothing. I'm just pissed." Yugi grumbled under his breath. Atemu rose an eyebrow.

"Oh really, why?" Yugi shot a glare at him. Atemu held up his hands in defense.

"Okay, Okay. I get it." Atemu chuckled, lowering his hands. He looked down at the floor before he shoved his hands in his pockets. "But, is that the only reason?" Yugi sighed, bringing his hand up and tucking a stray hair behind his ear. Great, now he felt like Anzu. The stupid royal probably wouldn't leave him alone until he answered, so he might as well talk with him.

"No." Yugi breathed out, recrossing his arms and leaning against the wall on his side. Atemu was surprised to find Yugi responding like that, he was so sure he was going to say that it was the only reason. But, it made him happy that he didn't so he kept his mouth shut.

"I just don't like this act..." Yugi told him, looking down at the floor and seeing dust. He ran his slipper over it, he didn't care if he ruined the slipper, it wasn't his.

"Why not?" Atemu asked, happy to be having a conversation. "Too sad?" Yugi shook his head.

"No..." Yugi looked back up when he heard someone let out a war cry, was that necessary? "I just don't want to get kissed..." Atemu blinked in surprise.

"Why not?"

"Well for one, Joey's my best friend. And two..." Yugi shot a playful glance at Atemu. "I don't think your adviser would appreciate it." Atemu laughed at that.

"That's true." He agreed. Yugi was talking to him, actually talking to him! And he wasn't even being mean about it! Perhaps Yugi didn't even dislike him! But he shouldn't get his hopes up...

"And I also haven't gotten my first kiss yet..." Yugi added softly, shocking Atemu. Yugi, the most beautiful person in this world, hadn't gotten his first kiss yet?

"Why not?" Atemu questioned. "Surely people have offered or gestured that they've wanted to." Yugi let out a chuckle at those words. It was true, people had offered to kiss him before, heck Joey at one time in their life had a crush on him and had tried to kiss him. Yugi had rejected him, but they were still buddies.

"Yeah, but..." Yugi turned to look at the prince, smiling sadly. "None of them felt like they were the one, you know?" Atemu's eyes widened, his eyes being caught with Yugi's as they looked at one another. He felt his mouth go dry, his heart began to race.

"Y-Yeah..." He responded, his face beginning to heat up. Yugi looked away, not noticing how the prince seemed to become flustered by his statement. Atemu cleared his throat, trying to recollect himself.

"S-So..." Atemu attempted to have a normal sounding voice. "W-When are you due on stage?" Yugi shrugged, dreading the moment when he was due on stage.

"When the fighting stops, which should be in about..." Yugi thought for a moment. "Five minutes?" Atemu began to smile, he had an idea. It might not work, but it was worth a shot.

"Do you want to go practice that scene?"

"No. It's a stage kiss, but it's still weird and something could screw up. And-"

"Then, why don't you come with me?" Yugi turned his eyes to Atemu, his eyes widening. Go with him? Didn't the royal know that he hated him? But, you've been talking to him as if you and him were best buddies...Yugi felt his face flush at that, what? People couldn't talk to people they hated? He kind of had to! But, he didn't exactly feel any hatred toward the royal when they were talking...He bit his lip, looking toward the stage.

"The teacher would be wondering where I went, and I don't want to go."

"I will tell the teacher personally where we went tomorrow, and you know you want to go." Yugi turned his body toward the prince, glaring at him.

"I do not want to go!"

"Are you scared?"

"Scared of what?"

"That if you come with me, you'll start to fall for me?" Atemu smirked, causing Yugi to adopt a shade of pink on his face. What? Was the royal stupid?! There was no way he would fall for him!

"You're insane! Why would I fall for you?!"

"So, you're not scared?"

"No!"

"Then come with me."

"Why should I?"

"You'll be able to get out of rehearsal for today." Yugi paused his thoughts. That was true...He gulped, he didn't want to be here today...But he had never ditched Drama before, and today was supposed to be a day long rehearsal. They would be here until probably nine at night...Atemu narrowed his eyes and smiled as he began to hold out his hand.

"Well, Yugi?" Atemu breathed out, feeling confident. Yugi rose a hand to his chest, taken back by the sudden hand. Did he want to go? He didn't but he did at the same. He didn't because he didn't want to abandon his Drama class, but he did because he wanted to prove Atemu wrong, and for the fact he didn't want to be stuck here until nightfall. Yugi inhaled, thinking for a good minute or two before he exhaled and reached out his hand, placing it in the prince's palm.

"Alright."

()()()()()()()()()()()()

"Thanks..." Yugi grumbled out as he walked into the cabin with Atemu, their hands intertwined. Yugi didn't want to hold hands, but Atemu had threatened him, so he had to.

"For what?" Atemu questioned as he waved at Espa and nodded at them in indication to begin cooking. Yugi looked away, trying not to look at the royal as he pulled him to the table.

"For letting me change back into my school uniform."

"I threatened you, so it's fine."

"Still..." Yugi mumbled, feeling Atemu remove his hand from their handhold . Atemu had said that if they didn't hold hands for the whole way, he wouldn't let Yugi go change back into his school uniform. It didn't matter to Yugi if he did though, he still let him change. Atemu smiled as he pulled up a chair and gestured for Yugi to come and sit in it.

"The only Yugi I want to see is the real Yugi." Atemu told Yugi as he sat down in the chair. Atemu pushed him near the table, ignoring how Yugi's face began to turn a slight pink at the comment.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Yugi asked, his face glowing in the pink color. Atemu chuckled and sat across from him, placing his elbows on the table and folding his hands together, resting his chin on top of them.

"I prefer to look at you like this." Atemu gestured at Yugi's uniform. "Not all dressed up and such, you look best when you are normal looking." Atemu thought for a moment. "But I will admit, the dress did look good on you." Yugi glared at him, his face evolving from a pink to a red.

"Whatever..." Yugi looked to the side of him, spotting a glass of some kind of clear liquid. Water maybe? He grabbed at the glass, tilting it and making the liquid swirl around.

"What is this?" Yugi asked out loud. Atemu rose an eyebrow, grabbing his own glass. He didn't know, it looked like water. He took a quick sip, smacking his lips together at the taste. It tasted kind of odd.

"I'm not sure..." Atemu responded, placing his drink back down. Yugi furrowed his eyebrows, taking a sip as well. He made a disgusted face, quickly setting the drink back down. Atemu chuckled, somewhat amused by Yugi's expression.

"White Wine." Yugi announced, moving his tongue around to get rid of the taste. He hated any kind of alcohol, and he was too young to drink it anyway. So, why was it there?

"They probably think Royalty likes to get drunk or something..." Atemu lifted his glass and peered into it. He never drank any kind of alcohol, he considered himself too young to even think about drinking. But maybe other royalty thought otherwise.

"Maybe..." Yugi whispered, watching as a door opened and revealed Espa coming back out with a silver tray. He walked over, greeting both of them before he placed two plates in front of him and the royal. Surprisingly, he grabbed the drinks and placed down two glasses of some kind of brown liquid.

"We couldn't help but notice the reactions of previous guests." Espa told them. "They don't appear to like the wine, so you don't mind if we exchange it for soda, do you?" What in Ra's name was soda? Atemu asked before he shook his head in response to his question. Espa smiled and bowed before he exited and left the two of them alone.

Yugi's eyes widened, they were being served hamburgers and french fries? Atemu noticed Yugi staring down at his plate, didn't Yugi like hamburgers? Perhaps Anzu misinformed him? Atemu had told Espa to include the appetizer with the entree because he had heard that french fries were a side, but maybe Yugi was confused about that?

"Do you not like your food?" Atemu questioned, trying not to sound hurt. Yugi quickly looked back up and shook his head in response.

"No, I like it." Yugi responded quickly. "I'm just surprised that it isn't more...I guess, fancy?" Atemu chuckled, so that's why.

"I apologize if it isn't what you were expecting, Yugi." Atemu said, smiling at the boy. Yugi rolled his eyes, picking up a french fry and throwing it into his mouth.

"Don't worry about it." Yugi mumbled, his mouth full of french fry. Atemu laughed and reached over, poking him on the forehead.

"Don't talk with your mouth full." Atemu winked at him. Yugi's eyes widened, don't talk with your mouth full? Isn't that what he did? Yugi swallowed his food, his face burning for no reason.

"O-Okay..." Yugi whispered, a small smile appearing on his face. Okay, so the royal wasn't that bad to be around, but he still didn't like him. He was only tolerating him because he had to.

"So, you just pick this up and eat it?" Atemu questioned, picking up a fry of his own and staring at it. Yugi nodded.

"Yeah, it's finger food."

"I've only ever eaten with silverware."

"Royalty not allowed to eat with their hands?"

"Something like that, yes." Atemu placed the fry back down on his plate. It felt kind of odd eating with his hands, he had done it before with his breakfast a while back but this was different. He had been alone with eating breakfast, he didn't want to look like a pig in front of Yugi.

Yugi couldn't help but notice the way Atemu was refusing to eat. Oh come on, he was making him look fat by eating by himself!

"Eat." Yugi demanded, shocking Atemu. Was he worried or something?

"Why? Are you worried that I'm going to starve myself?"

"Far from it. You're making me look fat here."

"You don't look fat to me."

"Will you eat already?"

"I don't feel like it." Yugi narrowed his eyes, reaching over and picking up one of Atemu's fries. Atemu watched as Yugi began to poke his lips with the fry.

"Eat." Yugi poked him again. "It!" Atemu felt his face start to light up, okay this was kind of embarrassing...He opened his mouth, letting Yugi place the fry inside. He shut his mouth, chewing and watching Yugi look at him with a satisfied grin. Atemu was surprised to find the food good, it didn't taste bad at all.

"Is it good?" Yugi asked, unfazed by the fact he had just fed the royal. Atemu swallowed, smiling at Yugi. The boy had to be warming up to him. He wasn't yelling at him, he wasn't glaring, he was talking to him, and he had fed him. Oh yes, Atemu knew Yugi was beginning to like him.

"It was, but..."

"But what?"

"I would like it very much, if you fed it to me again."

"What?! Feed yourself!"

"I don't know how."

"Yes you do!"

"Teach me."

"No! Teach yourself you stupid royal!"

"Harsh, here let me feed you then."

"What?!"

"You idiot, you didn't have to walk me back..." Yugi whispered, walking side by side with the royal. Atemu shrugged, smiling as he walked through the dark with his interest at his side. He had fun with Yugi, sure he had trouble at the start, but Yugi began to relax around him during the lunch and it was fun to tease him. Yugi even let him feed him a couple times.

"I wouldn't have let you walk back by yourself." Atemu told him, looking forward and seeing a tall blue and white building come into view. Yugi blushed and walked faster, getting closer and closer to his dorm. He stopped in front of the doorway to it, finding himself to be waiting for Atemu to catch up. Don't wait for him! Just go inside! He didn't though, he just waited.

"This is your dorm?" Atemu asked, smiling down at Yugi as he finally caught up. Yugi turned to face him, looking up and nodding.

"Yeah..." Yugi looked down quickly. "Thanks for lunch...I guess..." He mumbled out, trying to slur his words so the royal didn't understand him. Atemu understood him perfectly though, his chest getting tight and his heart beginning to hammer against his chest. He thanked him again, Ra Yugi was so cute...

"You're welcome." Atemu whispered, looking down. Yugi couldn't help it when his head rose back up, looking into the crimson eyes of the prince in front of him. Crap, look away. Look away! Atemu smiled sweetly down at Yugi, he could see the boy turn a bright red. How cute, how undeniably cute. He rose his hands, cupping Yugi's cheeks and caressing them with his thumbs. His face was so soft.

Yugi wanted to punch him, slap him, do something! But he let him touch his face, as if he owed him that much for getting him out of rehearsal that day. Atemu's hands were warm, and his face was warm. He could have sworn he felt sweat form on his head, why was it so hot outside? Wasn't it nighttime? He closed his eyes, trying to cool down when he felt Atemu caress his cheeks more. Why was his touch so gentle?

Atemu restrained a chuckle when he saw Yugi close his eyes, good. He didn't get to see how bright his face was. Yugi was right in front of him, his face held in his hands and his eyes closed. He had the perfect chance to do something he had been wanting to do, but no. He wouldn't, not after what he learned earlier that day. He smiled lovingly at the boy, reaching down and placing a soft kiss on Yugi's forehead.

Yugi's eyes shot open at this. He kissed my forehead?! He leaned back, away from the royal, staring up at him as Atemu just smiled at him. He leaned down again, giving Yugi another kiss on the forehead before he moved to his ear.

"Goodnight, my Prince."
