Author's Note: When I started writing this story, I was twelve. I posted a chapter a day. I hadn't kissed anyone. I hadn't gotten my period yet. My parents were still together. My hair had only begun to get curly, and I hated it. I don't think I even wore a bra. I kept trying to impress people who I didn't like and who didn't care about me. My mom thought I had ADHD. I was unhappy. Now, I'm fifteen. I've posted a chapter almost every day for the last week, and before that about once a month. I still haven't kissed anyone. I got my period. My parents are separated, but still live in the same house. My hair is curly as can be and I love it. I have boobs(finally) and wear a bra. I love my friends, and they care about me. I was diagnosed with a learning difference that is not ADHD and an anxiety disorder. I am happy. It was so long ago I started this, and I feel I am finishing it right. I've said so many times, even when I was feeling not so good about this story, that I would not leave it unfinished. I promised you that, and myself. I've grown up so much with this story, and these characters are my friends. Sounds pathetic, but it's true. It'll be strange, their stories having finished, but mine is just beginning. So, I hope you enjoy this chapter. And the Epilogues. So, for the last time, enjoy, and marauder on!

Chapter 25: Everything Has Changed

June 15th

Lily P.O.V.

Our last year at Hogwarts had ended in a shower of fireworks. The exams had gone well, Hugo and I both got into the Auror training program. I managed to pull a favor in with my father, and he made it so I could postpone for one year. Lorcan had been offered a position on Puddlemere United. Lilac had gotten the job she wanted, in the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Our Quidditch team had won the last game of the season, securing the Quidditch Cup, and the House Cup, for Gryffindor. Funnily enough, no one at Hogwarts had caught wind of my pregnancy. Today was graduation, and tomorrow we would all ride back on the Hogwarts Express for the last time. Everything was coming to a close, all the loose threads were being cut.

As I stood up on the stage, giving my last speech as a Head Girl, I looked out on the crowd, and saw all my family. People I had spoken to since they had found out, people who I hadn't. They all smiled up at me. When I got my diploma and shook Professor Longbottom's hand, I realized that all my sadness for leaving Hogwarts was cancelled out by my excitement for what came next. I was excited for the baby that was growing inside my stomach. I was excited for training to be an Auror, even though I had to wait a year. Most of all, I was excited for Lorcan and I, to test each other outside of Hogwarts. With the help of our families, we were buying a small house in a town on the outskirts of Godric's Hollow, for us and our baby. We would find out its gender in two months.

So, when I stood on stage, I didn't cry for things that I wouldn't see for a long time. I smiled for the things to come. When the ceremony was over, Lorcan and I went to talk to both of our parents, and all of our family members. Rose hugged me, and Scorpius slapped Lorcan on the back. For a moment, Lorcan and Albus stared at each other, then Albus stuck out his hand and they shook. It was like a truce, and I was a little more than amused. Lina and James appeared with Sirius in James' arms, and I held him again. Gabrielle, now a little more than one year, toddled uncertainly up to me, holding Teddy's hand. I laughed, crouched down, and poked her nose. Making a surprised noise, her nose turned into a pig snout.

"Teddy! You showed her that!" Victoire said, hitting her husband lightly on his arm as he roared with laughter, scooping his daughter up as her nose changed back.

As we got on the Hogwarts Express for the last time, to go back home, I thought of how different it had been the day I had gotten on the train at the beginning of this year. Getting back on it, I held Lily's hand in mine. After looking for a few minutes, we found the compartment where we usually sat. Lysander, Hugo, Grace Longbottom, Maddie, Josh, Jesse, Emma, Roxanne, and Julia all sat there. Guaranteed, there were a few additions to our normal crowd, so the compartment was rather packed, but we all fit fine. Well, Lysander and Maddie were sitting on the floor, but other than that….

"Do you realize we'll never be going to school here again?" Jesse voiced a few minutes after the train started moving. Julia laughed.

"Speak for yourself, Davies. Roxanne, Emma, and I have got another year, and those two," she said, gesturing to Lysander and Maddie, who were playing exploding snap, "have got three!"

"Well, for the rest of us, this is our last time in any compartment on this train." Jesse said. I smirked at my best friend.

"I think you've gone soft, Jesse." I said, mockingly. Jesse glared at me.

"If anyone's gone soft, it's you, Scamander. Giving it all up for a girl. No offense, love." He said to Lily. Lily rolled her eyes, and I shrugged noncommittally.

"So, you're really pregnant?" Maddie asked, looking inquisitively at me for confirmation. "I heard Hugo saying something about it, but, you know, it's Hugo." She said. Everyone laughed, and Hugo scowled.

"It's true, Mads."

"How come no one's gotten wind of it by now? You would think that the rumor mill would be blowing up by now!" Lysander said.

"Some people just can't see what's right in front of them, I guess." Lily said. I could have sworn she glanced at Hugo and Grace, but the flick of her eyes was so small, I almost missed it.

Hugo P.O.V.

It felt strange when the train slowed to a stop and students began to get off. It was the last time I would be getting off the train after a year at Hogwarts. Probably the last time I would be getting of the train, period.

When I got out onto the platform, I began to look around for my family, but a hand on my shoulder stopped me. Grace stood there, giving me a look that I had never seen on her face before. "Come over here, Hugo." she said, gesturing me over to a pillar on the emptier side of the platform.

"What's up?" I asked, leaning against it and looking down at her. Grace and I had only really been good friends for a few months out of the school year, but in those months, we had grown closer than I had with almost no one else.

"These last few months—they've been wonderful, Hugo. I've felt as if I've only started living when I started hanging out with you. We understand each other, and I've felt so alive when I'm with you." She said, looking up at me and smiling. I grinned, too, but also felt confused. It sounded as if she was saying goodbye, but why would she be? We didn't have to stop being around each other just because we graduated.

Grace took a deep breath, and furrowed her brow, stepping closer to me and resting her hand on my jaw. "What Lily said in the compartment, about people not realizing things that were right under their noses—I think we've been making that mistake a lot for the past few months." Then, before I could know what hit me, she was kissing me. And I was kissing her back, dropping my bag on the platform floor and bringing my arms around her as I kissed her.

Suddenly, after what felt like only seconds, a throat was being cleared behind us. James stood there, smirking his usual smirk, and looking at me pointedly. "Hugo," my cousin said, "what a surprise this is."

"Go away, James." I growled slightly. He shook his head, and began to turn away.

"This feels a lot like déjà vu, all right. Your mum is looking for you, Hugo." He said, leaving Grace and I. I stared at her.

"So…" I said, smiling. Grace grinned.

"So?" She said, teasingly. I shook my head, and laughed.

"Merlin. Sometimes I think I'm stupidest bloke alive."

"Sometimes I think you are, too." Grace said, a teasing smile spreading on her face. I scoffed, and bent down to kiss her again.

…..

Lysander P.O.V.

As Maddie and I got off the train, she turned to me, a sad smile on her lips. My heart sunk slightly. Here was the goodbye. We hugged each other, first. When we broke apart, I looked at her, sadly.

"This isn't really going to go anywhere, is it?" I said. Maddie smiled sadly, and shook her head.

"I don't think so, honestly."

"Well, we can still be friends, right? Since we're ending it on good terms?" I said hopefully. Maddie smiled.

"Of course we can, Ly. I'll see you next year, okay?" She said. As she began to turn away, I caught her arm lightly. She turned, confused.

"You forgot something." I said, innocently. Maddie looked around anxiously.

"What?"

I leaned forward, and kissed her on her lips. "That." I said, cheekily. She laughed, and looked at me, humor glinting in her eyes.

"You're turning into your brother." She said, shaking her head.

"Ouch. That was not a compliment." I said, laughing also. She turned, and waved, then walked back to her parents. I looked after her. Our third kiss, was goodbye.

I flicked on the light of our new house, looking around the empty space. Lorcan was behind me as I wandered into the empty room that would be our living room. It was spacious, and beautiful. A staircase led to the second floor, which held three bedrooms and a bathroom. In the downstairs, there was another bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and open space that would be our living room. I looked around, and smiled, imagining a life here. I raced over to the staircase, looking upstairs. When I came back down, Lorcan was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs. He smiled as I stepped back down on the floor.

"You what will really make it ours?" Lorcan said. I raised my eyebrows.

"What?" I asked.

"This." Lorcan said, sweeping me up with a kiss. I pulled back, and beamed at him.

"Can you believe it? Everything's going right, now."

"Maybe destiny has finished its job."

"I don't think destiny had anything to do with it."

"Whatever you say, Red."
