DSG: It's been more than a month, what happened to all the time?
Sobin: It was wasted with you playing videogames and goofing off.
DSG: hey! I uploaded other stuff!
Sobin: but nothing for this story.
DSG: I guess.
Crona: At least you did stuff.
Surya: Like making two girls with inhuman powers battle over me.
DSG: sorry, but let's get on with the story!
"If these two were normal girls, this wouldn't be a problem, but seeing that one has the attributes of an ocelot, and the other one can explode, this has made it all the more deadly." Surya had been put in an off mood after overhearing Koneko's and Cupa's conversation, though he made sure to hide it from them.
He even smiled as they shoved food down his throat.
And pretended not to choke.
"They actually did it?"
Surya and Crona had managed to weasel away from everyone else, so Crona could be informed about the "bet" between Koneko and Cupa.
"So your girlfriend is risking you to prove to some obsessed girl who scares her that you love her over the other?" Crona asked in the messed up way that he does.
"In a sense, that's what's going on." Surya clarified.
"So why don't you stop them?" Crona asked.
"Cause if I say something, Koneko will think I'm choosing Cupa because she's my girlfriend, instead of our love, so I have to wait till this blows over, and then choose Cupa." Surya asked.
"As noble as ever, make sure you don't die in the process." Crona chuckled.
"We'll have to wait and see." Surya smiled.
The two walked back to the rest of the group.
"Where were you two? We were getting worried." Sobin asked.
"Bathroom." They said in unison, as if they had planned it out.
"Ok, they'll be closing in a while, so we can only do one more thing." Max said.
Cupa's and Koneko's eyes instantly lit up.
"Let's go on the Ferris Wheel!" They screamed in unison.
"That's a bit cliché, I don't-"
"That's a GREAT idea!"
Surya's protest was cut off by Max jumping at the idea, obviously not reading the mood.
The group made it to the giant wheel, which wasn't crowded considering that it getting late.
"I'll go with Surya!" The two girls said in unison.
"Well, there isn't a problem with the three of us going together, right?" Surya asked.
"I guess not…" They muttered.
"Great, then the three of us will go together." He said with a fake smile, while avoiding Sobin's deadly glare, before hustling the two girls to the line.
"Then who do we go with?" Max and Ella asked.
"Isn't it obvious?" Crona asked as he grabbed Sobin's hand and also walked into the line.
The remaining two looked at each other, before hesitantly walking towards the rest.
"Isn't the sunset beautiful?" Cupa asked grabbing one of his arms.
"Simply amazing." Koneko said grabbing the other.
"Yah…great." Surya said.
"If this doesn't end soon, I think I'll go insane, and there's also a chance Cupa, Koneko, and even Sobin will kill me. When did she become so protective?" The stressed boy thought to himself.
"Dammit…If Surya tries to do anything; I'm going to pound him into the dust." Sobin said darkly.
"You've known the guy for about two years; don't you think you're being too hard on the guy? I bet he's going through hell right this second." Crona explained.
"I don't know….how can you be so sure?" Sobin asked.
"Trust me Sobin, I'm his best friend, so you can be sure that he won't hurt Cupa at all." He reassured.
"If you say so, but I'm keeping an eye on him." She hissed.
"And there goes the trust built up over the span of two years." Crona muttered to himself.
Meanwhile, Max and Ella were sitting alone in separate seats, with an awkward tension in the air, so Max decided to break the ice.
"So…someday we've been having, right?" He said.
"Yah…really special." Ella whispered, blushing slightly.
"I wish it could be like this every day, it so boring where I'm from…all alone." Max said looking out the window of the car.
"What do you mean, 'alone'?" She asked.
"Well everyone is a rich snob, so I came here, and seeing Surya with all his friends, it really makes me happy, news has spread about him." Ella tilted her head.
"What do you mean by news?" She asked.
"It's a long story, involving him and his parents, rumors have spread about him being abandoned by them, and they're only pretending to care, some people say that they had to be separated, no one knows for sure, it's pretty sad." Max explained.
Ella sank in her seat.
"Is this really the kid I'm supposed to get rid of? He's a nice kid, and his cousin isn't that bad either…WHAT AM I SAYING?! Either way, a mission is a mission; so sadly, I have to do it. What happened to the good in my life?"
"Hey Ella, are you alright?"
The witch looked up to see that Max was looking at her with a worried gaze.
"Yah I'm fine, just got lost in thought." She said.
Just then the Ferris' cart rocked and knocked Ella out of her seat, into Max's arms.
"Are you okay?" Max asked, with his cheeks a light shade of pink.
"Y-yah, I'm fine." Ella responded, blushing heavier than Max.
Ella slowly and hesitantly got out of Max's lap.
I…I can't…these people are so nice….I-I just can't do it."
When the two of them got off, they saw Surya being swarmed by the two girls, and Crona trying to prevent Sobin from killing Surya.
"Okay, let's go now." Surya said, trying to get away as fast as possible.
"I'd better make sure they don't kill each other or anyone." Crona said dashing after his friend
So with Sobin, the two "sane" people went back to where Max was living.
"So if you die, can I have your stuff?" Crona asked as they were getting ready to go to sleep. Surya growled and threw a pillow at him.
"I hate you sometimes, you should know that." Surya said in annoyance.
"Relax man…I was only kidding." Crona snickers tossing the pillow back.
"Well whatever, I felt like I was going to be torn apart." Surya sighed.
"You don't look that good either, I think you should just end it." Crona said.
"Yah, I don't know how much I can take, just prevent Sobin from sniping my head off." Surya shuddered.
"That is beyond my powers, you're on your own." Crona said.
"You're off my will." Surya hissed.
"You're just saying that." Crona laughed.
"Whatever, I'm going to bed." Surya muttered covering himself in his blanket.
Crona simply laughed and fell asleep in his bed.
In Sobin's and Cupa's room, a one sided battle was waging.
"I said I was sorry!" Cupa wailed as she hid herself from her friend, who was out to "discipline" her.
"Sorry won't cover the fact that you've betted your own boyfriend!" The skeleton screamed.
"It wasn't my fault." Cupa said.
"Then whose was it?" She asked.
"It was Koneko, she baited into me, saying that I didn't love him and stuff like that." Cupa explained.
"Taking advantage of someone's feelings, that's low." Sobin muttered to herself.
"I just want to rub the fact that I'm Surya's boyfriend in her face." Cupa said.
"However, this doesn't excuse you from accepting this bet!" Sobin yelled.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" Cupa apologized.
Sobin sighed, and then looked at her creeper friend, "I'm going to put a stop to this tomorrow." She said.
"THANK YOU SOBIN!" Cupa squealed death-hugging her friend.
"But if you repeat this mistake…I swear I'll make sure you'll never get another boyfriend…ever." Sobin hissed, Cupa nodded slowly.
"Now go to bed, I'm tired of this conversation." The skeleton sighed as she fell asleep.
"Yes madam." Cupa saluted before returning to her bed.
Ella looked to her left, and saw Koneko mumbling something about Surya in her sleep. She sighed and looked up, wondering what she should be doing next. Suddenly a voice rang in her head.
Have you done the deed, Ella?"
The witch realized that the voice was Mauvil's.
"I'm sorry sir, but I cannot do it."
What do mean?
"I've seen these people, and they're kind and loving, not at all how I thought it would be, so I can't bring myself to do it."
…
The voice suddenly disappeared, and Ella gulped, fearing the worst.
"I'm sorry everyone, I'm sorry." Ella said quietly, with a single teardrop descending from her eye.
The entire household had fallen asleep, which wasn't a good thing, since a dark aura had surrounded the area, and in a flash it was gone.
Yes I know I'm late, and that this is a crappy way to end a chapter, but I'm out of time and ideas, so just deal with it.
So now summer is over, and school is beginning, what does that mean?
