"Are you ready to surrender, princess?"
Aza'ri said in an almost mocking manner, as the former Ash'rak to the Goa'uld Empire peered at the holographic image of Princess Kakyuu. Just weeks earlier, Aza'ri and his loyal supporters had arrived above Kinmoku in an attempt to take the planet for themselves. Just years earlier, Aza'ri fled into the unknown regions of the Galaxy after the System Lords were destroyed by the Replicators. They only had a few ships, but that was all they needed. The plan was to head into the unknown regions of the galaxy a create a new empire that would emulate their former masters.
Up until this point, they had manage to conquer a few underdeveloped worlds and subjugate the surviving populations. Kinmoku was their next target and for weeks, his forces laid siege to the planet and the people below. But his men and his ships were always driven back but three individuals who though small in number, held power that was like nothing Aza'ri had seen before.
For weeks, these three women calling themselves,"The Sailor Starlights" had held the attack army at bey and it looked as if they would save their world. But Aza'ri laid a trap for them during his next attack and in one swift move, captured all three women. A fact which both shocked and devastated Princess Kakyuu.
It would have been easy for the former Jaffa leader to just kill them and march on this world. But no, he wanted to make them and their defiant princess suffer humiliation. Now here he was, the three Starlights kneeling on the cold metal surface of Aza'ri's flagship now in the process of "negotiating" the surrender of Princess Kakyuu and the subjugation of her people. Though, Aza'ri could not help but to think that Kakyuu would make a fine addition to his harem of slaves which he used for his... personal use.
For Kakyuu, it was indeed a desperate situation. Even though Kinmoku had largely been rebuilt and most of the population restored, they still lacked the means to fully defiAnt themselves. Kakyuu was alone in her throne room talking to a monster that was no better than Galaxia. She just hoped that salvation would come and soon.
"Do we have an agreement, princess?" Aza'ri asked coldly, enjoying the fact that he knew the Princess was out of options. "Surrender now or your friends die!"
Starfighter wanted desperately to scream at her princess, telling her not to bow down to the wil of this mad man. Even if it meant that she and her team mates would not leave that bridge alive.
The princess, for her part, just remained silent. She did not want to give this creature the satisfaction of seeing her beg for her friends mercy. Aza'ri saw this and chuckled, before he took out a device and pointed it at his prisoners.
"Very well. Just remember, you did this."
Taking aim directly at Starfighter's head, Aza'ri could not help but to smile in satisfaction. But just as he was about to pull the trigger, there was a bright flash and the holographic image vanished.
"Seiya!" Kakyuu screamed, as she called out to her friend. "SEIYA!"
"Uh... Kakyuu...?" a dazed voice came through the speakers.
"What?" the princess asked curiously. "Are you alright?"
"I can assure you, your friends are safe and secure." a new, commanding voice suddenly replied.
"Who is this?"
"Colonel Abraham Ellis, commander of the Apollo." the USAF officer replied, as she oversaw the Starlights being freed from their shackles. "We have been monitoring your situation since we entered the system."
Her message did get through...
"What's your situation on the ground?"
"The city is surrounded and the enemy has begun to move in." Kakyuu explained.
"Very well. Expect reinforcements very soon." Ellis replied, as he retook his seat.
"Sir, two Ha'taks have broken formation and moving to engage!" an officer alerted his commander from her station.
"Bring rail guns to bare, launch fighters." Ellis replied calmly, much to the surprise of the Starlight. Who at this point were still under the impression that Earth only had two warships. Just how many did the have?
Meanwhile in space, the Apollo moved in to engage the attacking alien fleet. Opening up with a combination of rail guns and beam weapons as the hostile ships moved in. Just as a golden beam of energy shot out from space and destroyed a third enemy vessel that ad begun to bombard the planet...
THE END...
