Hey guys sorry about the extremely long wait I've had so much to do it's not funny, I am currently working on chapter 26 right now, I have a couple chapters to finish of my other stories and hopefully they will all be uploaded tomorrow *Crossing Fingers* ok so I know the last chapter might seem a little out of wack but it does lead somewhere keep that guy who hasn't reveled himself yet just keep him in mind, he'll some up a little later and is a very important character.

Just before I state the disclaimer I want to thank everyone for their continued support in this story, it means a lot to me. I have currently got 4,347 views, I know it might not be a lot compared to other writers but it's amazing to me. Thank you guys! You are all awesome and totally make my day. I will try really hard to keep up with my writing for you all!

So now onto the disclaimer I do not own any of the Inuyasha characters or plots just my own twists and characters, my OC's are; Yuzuki (main character, half-wolf demon/water sorceress), Raven (wolf demon 'bad guy'), Ryuu (water dragon), Kamiko (fire/earth dragon, Ryuu's mate), Taro and Kenji (Ryuu and Kamiko's children), Hayami (Yuzuki's mother), Tsuyoshi (Tiger demon/elemental sorcerer, Yuzuki's teacher), Narumi (Tiger demon, Tsuyoshi's mate), Kazuhiko (leader of the southern tribe, Sayuri's mate), Sayuri (leader of the western tribe, Kazuhiko's mate), Michiko and Satoru (wolf demons, children of Kazuhiko and Sayuri), Zurui (mixed-breed, fire sorcerer 'bad guy') Kiriko (Naraku's new incarnation), Yukiko (Snow/Ice sorcerer) and of course the new person who's name nor face has been revealed yet. New characters; Daisuke Ishikawa and Yoshirou Ishikawa.

Chapter 25: A Forgotten Friend.

I frowned "Seriously?!" I exclaimed "Yuzuki calmed down it could be worse" Sango said "Sango's right we could have been crushed under all that" Kagome said I stood up and tried pushing on the ruined castle debris, I felt tears built up as I kept pushing. "Yuzuki stop you're going to exhaust yourself" Sango said I fell to my knees I hate this, I'm always in trouble even though I manage to help others I'm the one who starts it maybe I should leave the group they might not be trouble all the time if it weren't for me. "It's ok Yuzuki maybe there's another way out" Kagome said "We can go through the cave" Sango said "If we run into trouble, we have no weapons" Kagome said "There is one way out" I said "How?" Kagome asked. I took a breath then frowned as I stood up "I'll give you a way out" I won't leave until Kagome and Sango are with the others so it's up to me to get us out I held my hands out palm up and clenched my hands. I felt the water extract from the mud ground and form around the debris then moved them up as I slowly keeping my hands clenched as fists I felt the debris move "It's working" Kagome said the mud was now dirt and our belongings were visible.

I clenched my teeth feeling my strength lacking "Get your stuff quickly then run to the others" I said "B-But what about you?" Kagome asked "Just go I'll be fine I always am" I said they hesitated "We can't just leave you here" Sango said "Get your things and leave, this is the only way" I said. I saw them leave and gather their things and mine, they came back placing my things near me "We can stay I'm sure…" Sango started "Get out of here! Leave me! What don't you understand about that?!" I yelled as I growled slightly they looked at me in awe. I growled loudly giving a warning growl "Get out of here now!" I yelled giving them icy glares, they held their things as they ran off, once they were out of harms way I let go of the water and dropped to my knees as I did the debris and water dropped too. I puffed out of breath as I felt the tears leave my eyes "Idiot…" I murmured I looked to my things, I have to kill Naraku and get Tsuyoshi back, I'll redeem myself for my mistakes and I won't ever endanger my friends or family again. "I will protect them" I said softly I got up and got dressed in my attire and placing my satchel on and equipping my katana I looked to the back of the cave and started walking I eventually after what felt like an hour or so walk going through tunnel after tunnel.

I managed to find my way out it led to weird cave that had stone sculptures that reminded me of what you would have in a hut I looked around in suspicion as I stayed on guard "That was very noble of you" Daisuke's voice echoed out. I looked to my left and he came out of a small hiding space "What are you doing here?" I asked as I placed my hand on the hilt of my katana he smiled "Now-Now I thought you were meant to be good which means you won't want to hurt me" Daisuke said. "I won't hurt you but I did ask what you are doing here and I want an answer" I said "I came on behalf of my grandfather the head chief he was a young boy when his father told him tales of what he saw when your mother was killed and you were declared a threat to the village" Daisuke said. I knitted my brows together "You know more than your telling" I said he smiled "Sit, I'll explain what I know" Daisuke said as he gestured to the matts around the stone fire pit, I walked over with him and sat next to him. "Your great grandfather knew myself and my mother, I want all the details" I said he gave a nod "My great grandfather was to take over from his father of being the head villager of our village therefore associating with demons and half breeds was forbidden…" Daisuke started.

My brows knitted together he sighed "But my great grandfather was curious about your mother's power of water sorcery and would always sneak out take every opportunity to watch your mother use her sorcery and he snuck out one night and on that night he saw you by the lake" Daisuke said I hope he didn't take part in what led to my mother's death. "My great grandfather was stunned, he was a little younger then you but he fell for you, your beauty and talent, your love for all things, he spoke of you highly" Daisuke said I looked at him in awe his great grandfather fell for me? I'll never understand men. "My great grandfather would come to the lake every night to watch you practice your water sorcery though one day he asked his grandfather the head villager at the time if he could accept you into the village like they had accepted your mother but he refused" Daisuke said I sighed as I looked away. "His grandfather saw in that instant how much he cared for you and hated the thought of the generations being corrupted and mixing with demons of any sort so that's when he convinced the villagers that you were the problem" Daisuke said "How was it ever my fault? I never told other demons to slaughter the villagers, my mother kept me in the hut most of the time" I said. Daisuke nodded "I know my great grandfather told us, he was the one to make some of the other children to stop picking on you whenever you did leave her hut" Daisuke said I frowned as I closed my eyes.

"His father switched things around and got the villagers to believe his lies about you bringing demons to the fields and into the village outskirts to attack some of the villagers, my great grandfather never wanted you or your mother hurt" Daisuke said I looked to Daisuke. "He prayed every night until his death for your safety and forgiveness" Daisuke said "Is it your grandfather or father that is head villager now?" I asked "My grandfather" Daisuke replied "Take me to him please, I wish to speak with him" I said. He gave a nod "First you must have your strength I know my grandfather he wants everyone to prove themselves before letting them be a member of the village" Daisuke said I raised a brow "A member of your village?" I questioned in confusion. Daisuke smiled "My great grandfather made all the next head village leaders promise to accept you into the village but my grandfather likes testing everyone's worth to see if they can be trusted" Daisuke said I felt tears build up "What was your great grandfather's name?" I asked. "Ishikawa, Yoshirou" Daisuke replied "Yoshirou…" I repeated then closed my eyes as I searched through my memories, I know the name, a memory came to me but unlike most of my childhood memories it was hardly happy.

Memory starts.

I was walking from my mother's hut to the nearby stream when four boys came over and started pushing me around "Stop it please, I'm sorry if I did anything to offend you" I said I remember being pushed to the ground. "Too late, you're a half-breed" one boy said "Yeah half-breeds just ask to be picked on" another boy said I had tears running down my face when a boy slightly younger than me, ran over standing in front of me, he was dressed a little fancier then the other boys. "Leave her alone" he snapped at them they gave a slight bow to him and gave me a glare as they walked away, the boy who stood up to them turned around, he was the grandson of the head villager. He had a straight eyebrow length fringe the rest of his hair was straight cut and almost shoulder length and is a medium brown colour, his eyes were a light hazel colour. I got to my knees and bowed down with my hands on the floor and my head touching the ground "Uh… Hey you don't need to do that please…" he said as I heard him kneel down he grabbed my shoulders and pulled me up. He smiled slightly as a blush appeared on his face "Just call me Yoshirou and there's no need to act formal around me" he said I felt tears form as I smile formed I hugged him tightly "Thank you!" I exclaimed as tears poured out "Uh…" he puffed and then awkwardly hugged me back.

Memory ends.

"Yuzuki?" Daisuke's voice brought me out of my memory I hadn't noticed that I was crying "Are you ok?" Daisuke asked in concern I looked at him and smiled as I gave a short nod "Yes I am, I remember your great grandfather, he was a good man-well boy when I knew him…" I replied. "Could you tell me about what you knew about him while we eat?" Daisuke asked "Sure I don't know much but the couple of times I did see and speak to him, well he was a saint, that's the best way I can describe him" I said. Daisuke smiled, he went over to a small basket and brought it over then a pot and started cooking some food as he did I started talking about Yoshirou and what the village was like when I was little he was interested in the history of the village and it's people. Daisuke was egger to be leader but was worried he wouldn't live up to expectations or be as great as forefathers, Daisuke sighed as he frowned "I just don't want to let anyone down but I want to make the village great and all the people happy" Daisuke said. "My mother always said to follow my heart, help others and good things are sure to follow" I said Daisuke looked at me and smiled "I believe you have the makings of a great leader" I said "No matter what my grandfather says or father when I am head villager after them I will accept you into the village if they don't" Daisuke said.

"Thank you but let me prove myself I want the whole village to trust me like you do before being accepted otherwise you may have a rebellion on your hands" I said he gave a nod "Ok" Daisuke said I looked to the food and sniffed smelling it was cooked through fully. "Now let's eat then we can go to the village and see what kind of test your grandfather has planned for me" I said Daisuke dished out the food and we ate, Daisuke was giving off worried vibes "Daisuke whatever happens remember to stand by your father and grandfather, the village needs to keep it's strong bloodline of leaders" I said. I kept my focus on my food, I felt Daisuke's eyes on me "Even if he ends up wanting to kill you?" Daisuke questioned "We make our own choices and must stand by what we decide to do even if it haunts us for the rest of our lives, he will make his choice and when you become head village leader you must make choices that will define you and the village" I said. I suddenly felt Daisuke's mood pick up I took a glance at him seeing a look on his face seeing one I've seen before "Don't do anything stupid you have that determined look on your face just as Yoshirou had when he stood up for me" I said. Daisuke looked at me and smiled "Then I follow after the right man in my family" Daisuke said I sighed and finished off my food as did Daisuke did, I helped Daisuke clean up and turn out the fire then we walked out "You should clean up before we get to the village" Daisuke said.

I looked over myself seeing the mud was hard and I was covered in it I sensed a stream nearby "We'll go to the stream this way I won't take long" I said I walked towards the stream Daisuke followed once we saw the stream in view "I'll wait over here somewhere" Daisuke said. "No need I'll use sorcery only this time though since we're in a rush" I said I summoned the water too me and let it cover me forming a ball of water around me, I let it soak through my clothes and wash over my items, skin and through my hair. I then sent the now mucky water back into the stream I looked to Daisuke he looked at me in awe "That's was amazing" Daisuke said "Come on let's go" I said we started walking towards the village I was nervous but I couldn't turn back now. We got close, to the point where I smelt the villagers, the smell of cooked food and fire hung in the air, Daisuke stood beside me as we came into the open and approached the village. A few children playing near the start of the village on the path screamed seeing me "Demon!" the children screamed as they ran into the village I took a breath, some of the men from the village ran towards us.

They stopped just before us with weapons raised "Halt half breed scum! Let Daisuke go!" one man exclaimed "Yuzuki is not holding me prisoner, I have brought her to see the head villager, she wishes to speak with him, now lower your weapons and let us pass" Daisuke said sternly. They hesitated "Put away your weapons and make a path!" a loud firm man's voice called out an elderly man followed by a middle-aged man came forward, the old man has long grey hair tied up in a bun, has a stubby grey beard and light blue eyes. The middle-aged man has a black straight eye-brow length fringe, mid-back length hair that is tied up in a small bun that goes into a ponytail and has murky hazel-green eyes I knelt down placing my hands on the ground and my fore head to the ground. "Forgive me for intruding, I know that I promised not to and if I was to return that you would kill me but I just wish to talk and see my mother's hut once more" I said "Yuzuki stand you have no need to bow to us" the elder said I stayed kneeling down and raised my head to look at him. "I wish to prove myself, I am currently pursuing an evil half demon and a few other demons that wish to control the whole region once I get rid of them I wish to protect your village to prove my worth" I said the men started chatting amongst themselves I hung my head.
