Chapter 24
The sisters were looking around in a department store when Sakyo approached them.
"We meet again," said Sakyo.
"What do you want?" asked Kiyoko.
"There's no need to be rude," said Sakyo.
"We just didn't think we'd be seeing you again," said Etsu.
"I guess I'm just full of surprises then," Sakyo chuckled. "There's something I'd like to discuss with you both over a drink."
The sisters gave Sakyo a skeptical look.
"It's something concerning what happened awhile ago," Sakyo explained. "I promise our talk over drinks will be purely business."
The sisters had the feeling that whatever it was concerned them greatly and agreed to talk with Sakyo over drinks. When Botan finally found the sisters, she saw them getting into a limo with Sakyo and flipped out.
"Oh no!" Botan exclaimed. "I'm too late!"

Koenma was screaming at his sisters to not get into the limo with Sakyo, but it was no use as they had gotten into the limo. All he could do was to order Botan to follow them without being noticed and watch his sisters' conversation with Sakyo.
"That's a very unique Hiruiseki Stone, Etsu," Sakyo complimented. "It looks more valuable than the usual."
"Thanks," said Etsu.
"Where did you get it?" asked Sakyo.
"Not to be rude, but it's none of your business," Etsu replied.
"Forgive me," said Sakyo. "My curiosity got the best of me."
"Where exactly are you taking us?" asked Kiyoko.
"You'll soon see," Sakyo replied. "We're just about there."
"So, how is Koenma?" asked Sakyo.
"How do you know about our brother?" asked the sisters.
"Let's just say we've had dealings in the past," Sakyo replied.
"What kind of dealings?" asked Kiyoko.
"It doesn't matter," Sakyo replied. "It's not surprising that you don't know since you both left Spirit World over a decade ago, or so rumors say."
"We left Spirit World for a reason," said Etsu.
"I assume it's because of a family issue," Sakyo assumed.
"It's none of your business," said Kiyoko.
Koenma wasn't surprised that Sakyo had asked his sisters about him. Sakyo just smiled when the limo stopped.
"We're here, ladies," said Sakyo.
Koenma couldn't watch anymore as he was too anxious and ordered Botan to keep an eye on them and to report back to him.

The sisters had gotten out of the limo with Sakyo to realize that he had taken them to an exclusive restaurant. The bouncer looked at the sisters curiously as they weren't exclusive to the restaurant and was hesitant to let them inside until Sakyo spoke up.
"Don't worry, these girls are with me," Sakyo reassured.
"Yes, sir," said the bouncer.

Botan saw the sisters going into the exclusive restaurant with Sakyo and tried to follow them inside, but couldn't as the bouncer wouldn't let her in.
"Sorry, miss, this club is for exclusive members only," said the bouncer.
"Yes, of course, but my friends-," started Botan.
"It doesn't matter, young lady," the bouncer interrupted. "If you're not an exclusive member or a guest of an exclusive member, you cannot enter."
"I understand," said Botan.
Botan went to a cafe across the street to wait for the sisters and to keep an eye on the exclusive restaurant.

The sisters felt under-dressed as they wore sleeveless v-neck shirts (Etsu's red and Kiyoko's blue), leather jackets (Etsu's black and Kiyoko's brown), designer jeans, and boots (Etsu's black and Kiyoko's brown) while everybody else in the restaurant wore fancy clothes. Sakyo noticed their apprehension and chuckled as he reassured them.
"Don't worry, you both look fine," said Sakyo, suddenly speaking to the host. "Table for three."
The other members of the Black Black Club and evil greedy crime lords who were in the restaurant watching Sakyo and the sisters being led to their table had their eyes more on the sisters than on Sakyo. The Black Black Club and crime lords were whispering in the background. The sisters forced themselves to ignore the stares and the whispers as they sat down at a table with Sakyo.
The waiter came a moment later and Sakyo ordered a glass of wine as the sisters ordered virgin strawberry daiquiris. Sakyo explained to the sisters that the Toguro Brothers faked their death and threw the fight so he could get all of Tarukane's money in a bet, confirming the sisters' suspicions.
"Judging by the lack of surprise on your faces, I assume you both already knew," said Sakyo.
"Well, we suspected it," said Etsu.
"But you just confirmed it for us," said Kiyoko.
"Toguro told me that you both were unprepared and were holding back," said Sakyo.
"We had no choice but to hold back," said Kiyoko. "We were unprepared."
"But next time we will be prepared," said Etsu.
"That's another thing I want talk to you both about," said Sakyo. "Toguro mentioned that he would like another chance to fight with you two, provided that you're prepared and don't hold back."
Sakyo and the sisters were served their drinks a second later. The sisters took a drink of their drinks as they sensed Y. Toguro powering up and spoke up to Sakyo a moment later.
"Why didn't Toguro tell us this himself?" asked Kiyoko.
"Yeah, why did he ask you to tell us?" asked Etsu.
"Actually, I told him I would talk to the both of you first," Sakyo replied.
"That's very nice of you, but we would have preferred him talk to us instead of you," said Kiyoko.
"It's nothing personal, but we would like to hear from the source," Etsu agreed.
"There's more to this than you think," said Sakyo.
"Like what?" asked the sisters.
Sakyo glared at the sisters as he felt that they weren't taking him seriously. The sisters paid no attention to Sakyo's glare as they had gotten up from their seats and spoke up before leaving.
"If there's more to this, then Toguro can tell us tomorrow," said Etsu.
"Tell him to meet us at the park around noon," said Kiyoko.
"Don't sound so cocky," Sakyo warned. "You're making a mistake by taking me too lightly."
"We're not taking you lightly," said Etsu.
"We just want to hear it from Toguro himself," said Kiyoko.
"Thanks for the drinks," said Etsu.
Sakyo lit up a cigarette for himself as he watched the sisters leave, but suddenly crushed his cigarette out of anger. The sisters let out a huge sigh of relief as they had just exited the exclusive restaurant and were on there way home when Botan caught up with them.
"Etsu, Kiyoko, thank goodness you both are okay!" Botan exclaimed.
"Of course we're okay," said Kiyoko.
"Why wouldn't we be?" asked Etsu.
"There's no time to explain!" Botan replied. "Koenma wants to speak you girls right away!"
"But it's late!" Etsu complained.
"Why does he want to speak to us?" asked Kiyoko.
"It has something to do with the Toguro Brothers," Botan replied. "I know it's late, but it's important that you girls go see Koenma."
The sisters decided to go ahead and go to Spirit World with Botan so they could go see Koenma since it was obviously urgent. When the sisters went into Koenma's office, they were greeted by Koenma yelling at them.
"Why did you girls get into the limo with Sakyo?!" Koenma yelled. "He may not seem like it, but he's very dangerous!"
"Sakyo wanted to speak with us over drinks and we agreed since it concerned us!" Kiyoko snapped. "Besides, we can take care of ourselves!"
"We were on our guard!" Etsu snapped. "What is it that you need to tell us?"
Koenma sighed as he admitted that he overreacted and that he was just concerned for their safety. He answered Etsu's question a moment later.
"I think it would be better to show you girls what I want to talk to you about," Koenma replied.
After his sisters watched the tape, Koenma noticed that they seemed curious and angry. They were curious of how Toguro was working with Sakyo, and they were angry of how they were fooled as it had never happened to them before.
"I know you girls can deal with Toguro easily, but my main concern is Sakyo and how he can make things happen," Koenma explained. "He's more dangerous than he appears. He'll more than likely be able to make you girls Toguro's prize if his team wins, whether we like it or not."
"Koenma, we know you're concerned, but you have got to have faith that Yusuke and his team will win," said Etsu. "Besides, the Dark Tournament won't be started for another couple of months, so they'll be getting a lot of training to get ready."
"Etsu has a point," Kiyoko agreed. "And we can take care of ourselves."
"You girls are right," Koenma sighed.
"Uh, yeah," Kiyoko remarked.
"Of course we are," said Etsu.
"You girls don't have to be sarcastic about it," Koenma remarked. "Anyway, before I forget, here's a communication mirror for each of you."
The sisters thanked Koenma as they had each picked up a communication mirror from his desk, the communication mirrors being white and gold.
"You girls might as well get the rest of your fighting clothes while you're here," said Koenma.
"We will, but..." started Etsu.
"But what?" asked Koenma.
"But we also want some anti-tear spray for our casual clothes," Kiyoko replied.
"Why?" asked Koenma. "What's wrong with your fighting clothes?"
"Nothing, it's just that we won't always be able to change into our fighting clothes,"
Etsu replied.
"And we can't be taking our fighting clothes with us everywhere," Kiyoko added.
"You girls make an interesting point," said Koenma. "Ogre, bring the anti-tear spray for clothes and shoes! My sisters need a couple of cans!"
"Right away, Koenma sir!" George obeyed.
"Now, girls, the anti-tear spray will prevent your clothes from being torn while fighting, but it doesn't prevent you from being injured," Koenma explained.
"That's really nothing new," said Kiyoko.
"Yeah, because it's the same with our fighting clothes," Etsu agreed.
"Yes, well, I thought I should just tell you girls anyway," said Koenma.
"Thanks, Koenma," Kiyoko said.
"Yeah, thanks," Etsu added.
George came back with the cans of anti-tear spray and gave a can each to Etsu and Kiyoko.
"Before we go, Koenma, whatever happened with Captain Asshole?" Kiyoko asked. "Did he get any punishment?"
"Unfortunately, he just got away with a warning," Koenma answered.
"Of course," Etsu muttered.
"Shouldn't really be surprised," Kiyoko scowled. "He is a really big ass kisser."
"Yup," Etsu agreed.
"Let's go," Kiyoko said. "See you later, Koenma."
"Yeah, see you later," Etsu said.
"Later," Koenma said.
