Rhiannon's Point of View

The first thing I notice when I start to come to is that I am too comfortable. I look around and see that I'm lying on a bed in a rundown house, much like what Dean and Sam would squat in on a job. I slowly make my way off the bed, still stiff from the attack at the fill up station. As I start to walk towards the door, I hear footsteps on the other side. Quickly, I grab up a piece of rotted wood so that I can use it as a weapon.

The door swings open to reveal a man who looks to be in his mid-thirties with blonde-ish hair, and sores covering his face. "Sorry about the attack earlier," he says sweetly to me. As soon as he opened up his mouth, something deep inside me stirs, and I know exactly who he is. "I told my men not to harm you when they collected you, but you know what they say about finding good help these days."

I take a deep breath. Without even realizing it, I lower the piece of wood. "Lucifer…"

Dean's Point of View

"Oh yeah," the old man says at the counter. "She came in here bout yesterday evenin'. Sweet little gal…could tell she was a little sad though."

"Did she say where she was going?" Sam asks.

The old man stares us down for a minute. "Why do you fellers want to know?"

"This girl, she's uh-" I say, racking my brain for an explanation. "She's um, she's my girlfriend and we got into a fight the other day. She took off and said she was heading home. But, we haven't been dating for long so I'm not exactly where home is."

He stares me down again for a little longer before he adjusts his hat and cracks a little smile at me. "Shoot boy," he says. "I should've known that was a lover's quarrel that had her down. She said she was headin to some little town in the mountains in Georgia, not far from here."

"Did she say anything else?" I ask. "Or did you see her leave here with anyone else?"

"Oh yeah," he says, nodding his head. "She took off with some ole boy in one of them red slick new cars you youngins got these days. Left her car sittin at the pump and everythin'."

"Thank you," I say. I reach into my pocket to pull out my wallet.

When I open it up, the old man starts shaking his hand at me. "You ain't got to pay me nothin' boy," he says. I slowly close my wallet as he lowers his hand. "You just find that girl back and never let her go. Understand?"

I nod my head at him. "Yes sir," I say, putting my wallet back in my pocket. "That's the plan." I rap on the counter a couple times before walking out of the store. When we walk out, I see Castiel standing near a payphone booth. "What's up Cas?" I ask him as we walk up to him.

"Sulfur," he says. He holds up his fingers to reveal the yellow powder. "Demons must have gotten her."

"But how?" Sam says. "You put the sigils on her too, didn't you?"

"Yes, I did," Cas says, scrunching his face up. He seems to think for a moment. "The only thing I can think of is if Rhiannon has part of an angel's grace in her, that grace may give off a presence, canceling out the sigils."

"Son of a bitch," I mutter. I look around, trying to figure out our next move. As I look towards the bottom of the phone booth, a glint of white catches my eye. I bend down to pick up a piece of paper laying in the floor of the booth.

I unfold it and see Rhiannon's scratchy handwriting: Emergency numbers…ONLY CALL FOR AN EMERGENCY! 4. C-555-8374 3. B-555-3875 2. S-555-3947 1. D-555-9384

"Well, at least she had our numbers," I say, handing the piece of paper to Sam.

"Good thing she called us," he says, handing the piece of paper to Castiel. "Otherwise we wouldn't have known-"

"Yeah, I know," I cut him off from finishing that statement. "Come on, let's go check out her car." We walk around to the back of station and see the unnoticeable blue Taurus sitting there. I open the driver door to look up front while Sam looks in the back seat, and Cas just stands there awkwardly. "Find anything?" I ask Sam, not finding anything in the front besides an empty Mountain Dew bottle.

"Just her bag," he says, pulling it out and sitting it on the back of the car.

He starts to unzip it until I stop him. "Woah, woah, woah,"I say knocking his hand out of the way. "You aren't going through her bag."

"Dean," Sam says. "We need to see if we can find anything. Like a hex bag or anything that may have tracked her with."

"I know that. But you aren't going through her bag," I say, grabbing the bag from him. In all honestly I just didn't want Sam seeing her bras and stuff that were surely in there. I had already seen them, so I was the only one allowed to look in it. Sam shakes his head as he lets out a little chuckle, finally getting what I meant. I unzip the bag and look through it, finding only clothes and a couple of sealed up envelopes. I pull out the envelopes to read what was written on the front of them: Dean, Sam, Bobby, Castiel, Final Wishes. I shake my head as I hand the envelopes to Sam and zip her bag back up.

"She's prepared for everything, isn't she?" Sam says, looking at the envelopes.

"Let's hope she never has to hand out those envelopes," Castiel says.

I give him a hard look before throwing Rhiannon's bag over my shoulder. "Come on," I say, starting to walk back to the Impala. "Let's go see if we can find that 'red slick car'."

Rhiannon's Point of View

"So you do know who I am," Lucifer says, giving me a smile. "I'm honored."

"How did I know that?" I say, my hands starting to shake.

He gives me a look as he walks further into the room and shuts the door. "You know how you know," he says. "It's engrained into you."

I shake my head at him. "What do you want with me?"

"I just want to talk to you," he says innocently.

"Oh, I'm sure you do," I say, sarcasm dripping from my voice.

"Rhiannon," he says, stopping his pacing. Something inside me stirs when he says my name. "I'm not the bad guy I was painted out to be when you were a little girl. I was just…misunderstood."

"Misunderstood? Is that code for evil?" I say, gaining some of my confidence back.

He looks at me for a second before starting his pacing again. "When I heard that Haniel's grace got taken from her, I was of course worried about her. Me and Haniel were so close. She was the only one of the angels that actually took the time to hear my side." He says. He stops suddenly and points at me. "Much like you, from what I've heard. You're a nice girl, you give people the time of day that others normally wouldn't."

"Don't you dare compare me to her," I spit at him. "You're ev-"

"Am I?" he says, cutting me off. "Or is my Father? For kicking me out, just for loving him too much. That's all I did. I never hurt anyone, never killed anyone. I just, simply, loved my father, and my family."

As he speaks, something in me stirs again, this time spreading out inside me. "Then why do people call you evil?" I say. "It doesn't make sense with what you said."

"I'm not sure," he says, a smile growing on his face. "We can hash out those details later. I'm guessing, right not though, Haniel's grace is taking over you."

Suddenly, I feel a warm sensation spread throughout my body. I can feel the angel inside me, trying to take control. Oh heck no you! I think towards it. This is my body and I am not playing ball with this jerk! The angel's grace reaches my mind, where it easily forces me back, and takes control of my body.

"Hello Lucifer," I say. A new voice speaks out; it sounds like me, but is somehow different.

"Haniel," he says to me. "So good to see you again."

"It's good to see you too big brother," the voice says. I wasn't calling it my own voice, because it wasn't me. I swear if you hug him I will vom- The angel moves my body forward and hugs Lucifer, who hugs her back.

"Is the girl still inside you?" he asks, looking into my eyes.

"Yes," the voice says. "She's fighting to regain control. She's a lot stronger than I thought she would be." Dang skippy I'm fightin! I yell at her.

"Well," Lucifer says. "Hopefully with time she will come to agree with us."

"Those Winchester boys may pose a problem with that," the voice says. "She has grown quite fond of them. Especially Michael's vessel."

Lucifer nods his head as he starts to pace again. Can't this guy stand still for five seconds? "Yes," he says. "I'm sure they are on their way to rescue her."

"I know what to do," the voice says, nodding my head.

Lucifer gives me a smile as he places a hand on my shoulder. "Good little sister," he says. "Once you are finished, you know how to get in contact with me." A split second later, he vanishes.

What are you going to do? I shout at the angel.

"What I've always wanted to do," the voice says. "Help my big brother." She starts to walk from the room.

I stay silent while she walks through the run down house and out the door. Which one? I ask her.

She stops in her tracks at the end of the porch steps. "What do you mean which one?" she asks, confusion in her voice.

Michael is your brother too, isn't he? I say. Why wouldn't you want to help him?

She starts walking down the dirt road in front of the house as she shakes her head. "Michael is my brother too," she says. "But kicking Lucifer out of heaven was wrong. It shouldn't have been done."

He wanted to get rid of the humans! I shout at her. You can't tell me after all this time riding around in me that you agree with that?

"Some humans are wonderful creatures," she says, nodding her head. "But there are others that cancel out those wonderful ones far too much. They make this planet rotten. They make it unsafe."

But aren't the good ones enough to hold onto? I ask. What about all those innocent children I helped at work? You're just gonna let them burn in this battle?

She lets out a sigh. "Like I said, it will be an unfortunate loss," she says.

What about Bobby and Castiel? And Sam and Dean? I say. I knew I was grasping at straws bringing them up. But I was desperate.

She stops in her tracks, stirring up a little dirt. "What about them?

You can't tell me, after all this time I've- we've spent with them, you haven't grown attached to them, I say. All the times they've saved my butt. Cas brought me back from the dead for cryin out loud!

She stays still for a second. I couldn't tell if she was thinking this over or not, because I couldn't hear her thoughts or anything despite the fact she was in my head. She shakes my head as she starts walking again. As she walks down the road, I continue to name off all the good things humanity has done. Haniel stays silent though. As we round a curve in the road, I hear the unmistakable rumble of the Impala's engine. Haniel, I say to her. I don't know what you are planning on doing but I will not let you hurt those boys.

"What needs to be done will be done," she says as the Impala comes into view. "I will not let my brother down."

And I'm gonna do what I need to do, I tell her. I won't let you hurt my boys.

As soon as the Impala is fully in view, it slams on its breaks. Haniel stops walking and stares it down. I watch through my eyes as Dean, Sam, and Castiel get out of the car. "Rhi," Dean says, obvious joy in his voice. "You're okay." He slams the car door shut as he and Sam start walking towards me.

Haniel looks past them at Castiel. I see a glint of silver fall from Castiel's coat sleeve. "That's a smart move Castiel," Haniel says. At the sound of her voice, Dean and Sam stop.

"Rhi?" Sam says. "Are you okay?"

"That's not Rhiannon," Castiel says.

"What are you talking about it's not her?" Dean says looking between the angel and my body.

"No, he's right Dean Winchester," she says. "Rhiannon can't come out to play right now."

"What are you talking about?" Sam says.

Haniel turns her head from Dean to Sam. "Sam Winchester," Haniel says. "I always pegged you as the smart one of the group. After Rhiannon of course, despite her…weaknesses for humanity…she was pretty smart." Oh, I'll show you weakness sister. I reach down deep inside myself and try to regain control of my body. I'm only able to regain control of my arm for a moment, but in that moment I twist the arm as hard as possible causing Haniel to jerk forwards slightly. "Now, now Rhiannon," Haniel says after she stands back up. "Behave yourself."

"Somebody better tell me what the hell is going on," Dean yells.

"Haniel has taken over Rhiannon's body," Castiel say. "She's using her as a vessel now."

"Exactly," Haniel says. "And judging by that sword you pulled out Castiel, I can tell you want to kill me. But, if you kill me, you kill Rhiannon. And I know you don't have the juice to bring her back. The other angels won't bring her back either because after I'm gone, she's just another pathetic little human. So if you want to kill me, go ahead, but I'm sure these two boys would have a problem with something happening to their precious little nurse." She turns and faces Dean, giving him an evil smile. "Wouldn't you Dean?"

"Listen here you bitch," Dean says charging towards me. "If anything happens-"

"No, no, no Dean," Haniel says, wagging a finger in the air. "I wouldn't get too close to me. I'm here to kill you, after all."

"Why?" Dean asks.

"Cause you're Michael's vessel," Haniel says, rolling her eyes at Dean. You are a sarcastic little thing aren't you? "Well, I learned from the best," Haniel says to me.

"Who are you talking to?" Sam asks.

Haniel rolls her eyes as she points to my head. "Rhiannon," she says. "She's been screaming in my head this whole time, don't hurt them! Humans aren't that bad! If you hurt them I'll kill you! Blah, blah, blah."

"What are you doing Haniel," Castiel says to her.

"What you should be doing," Haniel snaps at him. "Helping our brother."

"Lucifer must be stopped," Castiel says, walking towards me. "You know that."

"No," Haniel yells. "I know that our brother was unfairly thrown from heaven. Our father was being unreasonable!"

"So what? You're here to kill me?" Dean says, holding his arms out. "Then come and get it."

Haniel takes a few steps towards Dean. As she walks Sam starts towards her until she holds her hand out, stopping him. She continues to walk towards Dean until she's inches away from him. "Oh trust me handsome, I plan on it," she says, smiling at him. She reaches a hand up and starts to draw little circles on his chest. "It's not like she can have a real relationship with you. You flirt with other women. You're constantly putting yourself in danger. Hell, you bringing her with you, you put her in danger." she says, staring Dean down. "I don't get what she sees in you."

A sad look grows on Dean's face. "I know," he says, hanging his head a little. "I don't either."

You bitch! I yell at Haniel. Seeing the hurt on Dean's face fires a fuel inside me. I start mentally kicking and punching as hard as I can. The mental act of doing so eventually gains enough steam and it starts affecting my body. Haniel steps away from Dean and starts jerking around, little she really was being kicked and punched.

"What the hell?" she says to me. She doubles over as an invisible kick hits her in the stomach. "I didn't hurt him!"

Hurting someone isn't always physical, I say, kicking and punching. As I talk, I feel my own self getting stronger and regaining control. I told you not to hurt- "my boys," I say, out loud this time. In my head, I could still feel Haniel, and knew she was listening. "And you didn't listen." After I straighten up and stop jerking around. This isn't over, Haniel says in my mind, I will be back. I feel Haniel retreat back to whatever corner of my brain she had been hiding in. The sensation of regaining control of my body is a little overpowering, causing me to fall to the ground.

Without even seeming to think about it, Dean races over to me and kneels down beside me. "Rhi," he says, picking my head off the ground. "Hey, are you back?"

I nod my head weakly. "Yeah," I say. "She's gone." I move to sit up as Dean helps me. I look up at him as he looks down at me. I had no clue what to say to him.

"You feeling okay," Sam says as he kneels down on the other side of me. I break my stare with Dean and look over at Sam.

"Yeah," I say, nodding my head.

"Come on," Dean says, placing a hand under my elbow. "Let's get out of here." He helps me stand up before he leads me to the car.
