BlackLynx17: My birthday's soon, so don't be expecting any new chapters for the rest of this week and probably next week! You can wish me a Happy Birthday and give me reviews as gifts though, since I obviously don't know any of you people in real life. That would be funny though, that if in real life all of you guys were my friends and family. Oh, that would be hilarious. Mention my nickname to all of your family members and let's see if we're related or text it to your friends. That's your homework for this week.

Midna3Niwa - You should be scared for Lisanna, who knows who did that to her or if she'll recover.

MeGustaZeref - You know it!

Smuthermuffin - Yeah, sorry about that. No cliffhanger in this chapter though, only laughs.

Adelyna12 - We'll just have to wait and see.

Scrat - I'm happy I was able to surprise you, no issues here. Only problems in this story, lol.

Most reviewers were very shocked so most of the reviews were the same, was it Natsu, is Lisanna alright, that was a twist, wasn't expecting that. I'm happy that I was able to keep everyone on their toes, thanks for your reviews everyone. I must be good if I was able to surprise all of you, thanks for reviewing me your thoughts. I hope you enjoy this chapter, it's small and light to help fix the heaviness of last chapter. Enjoy.

Chapter 25

Waiting...

.

I waited. That morning I woke up early, did all my usual routines, left way earlier than I usually do and walked to school by myself just so I could wait. And here I was... waiting for him. Time passed and pretty soon I saw what I was waiting for.

They came, not him.

"Lucy, any word on Natsu? He hasn't texted you or anything?" Loke asked.

I didn't have time to worry about Natsu, I had something to say. I'd care about my like-life later.

"Did you guys do it?" I asked, my hand clenching the strap to my bag.

The Slobs stared at me, some blinking.

"Was it a team plan? Or did Natsu do it alone?"

"What are you talking about?" Gray asked.

"Yeah, start making since Blondie!" Gazille said.

I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Fine. Were you guys the one who put LISANNA IN THE FUCKING HOSPITAL?!" I screamed.

All of them looked shocked, like as if they had just witnessed a murder right in front of their eyes. Well, maybe I shouldn't go as far as a murder in front of their eyes and more along the lines of some breathtakingly shocking news. Seems Erza didn't text them about it.

"Or was it just Natsu, just plain old Slob Natsu?" I asked.

They were silent.

"I planned on asking nicely, but you guys were being such idio-"

"What are you talking about?"

Huh, a reaction. Gray's hands were in fist, slowly he looked up at me through his bangs.

"What the hell are you talking about?!" He yelled at me.

"I should be the one yelling Mister so shut up! I'm woken up yesterday by Erza, crying her eyes out saying that Lisanna was hospitalized! HOSPITALIZED! She was fucking kidnapped, beaten and drugged then dumped somewhere outside Magnolia! Now do any of you Slobs have any clue on how that happened?!" I screamed.

"Why are you suspecting us?" Gazille asked, his voice was calmer than Gray's.

"Because of her fucking articles! I don't buy that bullshit you guys gave me. I know for a fact that one of you guys do drugs," Gazille glared at me, "if not all of you. I'm sure you all drink since you're always hanging around that liquor store, huh? What did you do? Get drunk one night and decided to get high in that mansion?! Only to burn it down and run? I'm not a fucking idiot like the rest of the people who live in Magnolia!"

Jellal stood up in front of the others.

"We have nothing to say to you, leave," he said.

Oh! Oooh! Arg! Grr! Through all the emotions I was feeling at that moment, one emotion stood out loud and clear. What I did next shocked them, my eyes starting watering and tears fell out the corner of my eyes. This was pitiful, I haven't cried in months and here I was crying in front of these Slobs. All of them flinched back, seems I've shocked them once again.

"Just please," my voice broke, "please tell me. I don't want to believe it, I don't, it's just... were you guys the one who did that to her? To our friend?" I cried.

"No." Jellal spoke.

"No." Loke echoed.

"Of course not." Gray said, his voice softer than before.

I glanced up at Gazille, his expression was hard as he gazed into my eyes. Slowly, his head shook side to side; he acted like he was the one most offended by my accusation.

"No."

"And Natsu?" I whispered.

"He's missing, I don't, we don't believe he did it." Jellal said.

"I don't either... whatever, sorry about before." I mumbled before turning away.

They said they didn't do it and I believe them. Someone hurt Lisanna though, someone did that to her and is still at large. Who would do it though? Who would want to hurt Lisanna?

"Lisanna? Lisanna is that really you?" I asked running up to our table.

Lisanna looked back at me and smiled, she held her arms wide open for me when I hugged her. No Lucy, she just came out of the hospital. I didn't care, my news, news, news girl was back!

"Hey Lucy," she giggled.

"Lisanna! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at the hospital?" I asked, worried.

"I've been stuck in that place since Thursday. Thursday! I think I've recovered enough wouldn't you say? Besides, I told you last time you visited that I'd be able to leave Monday if I was lucky. Well, lucky must be my middle name!" Lisanna giggled.

She was back, old Lisanna, our Lisanna, she was back and happy.

"Are you sure though? Another week couldn't hurt?" I asked.

"Stop asking like the Mother Lucy! That's Erza's job, besides nothing really happened to me! I didn't become a drug addict after one dose and I didn't break anything! See, you can barely see any bruises now." Lisanna said.

She pulled up her sleeves and showed me, the purple bruises were no longer there. Instead they were replaced with yellow ones, nearly the same color of her skin.

"I'm fine, you're the fourth one to ask me this!" Lisanna yelled.

I looked behind her and saw Erza's gang at the table, all of them laughing and smiling.

"It's like it never happened," she said, I believe it was more to herself though.

But it did happened and that did change something in all of us. Especially Lisanna, even if she didn't show it. I was the Master of Disguises here people, I knew when someone was hiding something from me and clearly Lisanna was trying to hide the fear she still held inside her.

"Alright, fine, but tell me. You didn't tell Natsu's gang did you?" I asked.

"No, I was waiting to tell Natsu first. By the way, where is he? I haven't seen him yet."

Neither has anyone else.

"Well get ready to be asked a sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth time because I sort of told them." I said.

"LUCY!"

"I thought they knew and oh, here they come. Just scream you're fine, they'll get the picture sooner or later."

Lisanna groaned and I laughed.

Natsu. I hate you.

"Hello?" I answered my phone, lifelessly I might add.

"Yeah, Goldie Locks?"

"I'm in class Cana, what do you need?"

"A lot of things, but I was just calling because Cobra hit me up. He wanted to know if you wanted to come over?"

Fuck. What was today? Wednesday? No way it could be, last time I checked it was the weekend yesterday or else did I miss school for two days?

"Is today Wednesday?"

"No, that's the thing. Something came up Wednesday so Cobra wanted to ask if you could come today instead. So yes?... No?... Judging by the way you answered your phone, you could use a little fun."

With all this Natsu still missing crap floating around, hell yeah I could use a little fun.

"Alright, alright. I'll go."

"Sweet, see you soon my little Goldie Locks."

"Wait, what did Cobra have to do Wednesday?"

"I have no idea, he said about his snakes though. Maybe Kinana finally convinced him to get rid of those creepy things, either that or eat them! HAHAHA!"

I giggled, "right. Like that would ever happen. Bye Momma Bear."

"Bye Goldie."

I saw Loke, Gazille and Lisanna staring at me. She had been led in on the secret of Natsu's disappearance, needless to say she chewed both Erza's and my head off for not telling her sooner.

"It wasn't him." I told them.

I heard them all sigh and look away. Bell please ring soon, I need some happiness in my life. I need to forget about the man who made me like him only to disappear out of my life without a trace.

I need some drugs and alcohol.

Fast.

"Are you sure you don't need a ride? Cana won't mind giving you one, she loves me." I asked Lisanna for the tenth time since the bell rang.

"I wish everyone would stop treating me like some delicate flower!" Lisanna yelled.

"Give us another week or so." Gray laughed.

"Are you suuuuure?! Cana's parked right there, see that van? Just a few steps and we'll drive you anywhere, even to the moon for some cheese." I offered.

"Lucy, thank you. It's sweet but I have some things to take care off, plus my parents are picking me up. You see the car parked across the street? That's them." Lisanna said.

We were walking out the school's gates now, I could see the car she was talking about.

"But that's all the way across the street! You might get hit! At least let us drive you across there."

Lisanna laughed along with the rest of our friends, the Slobs and Erza.

"Bye Lucy, thanks but I think these four bodyguards will suit me nicely." Lisanna said referring to the Slobs.

"Alri-"

BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BE-BE-BEEP-BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

"Come on Goldie Locks! You have legs! Use them!" Cana yelled out the window.

I rolled my eyes.

"Text me to tell me you made it safely across, you know what happened to the chicken who tired to cross the road." I warned.

Lisanna laughed again before I jogged off to Cana's van.

"Whose car you steal this time?" I asked reaching it.

Cana leaned over and unlocked the car door, she pushed it open for me.

"Shut th-... get in the car Lucy."

"What kind of comeback is th-"

"Get in the car! Now!" She screamed.

My eyes widened and I jumped in, slamming the door shut after me, too shock that Cana actually yelled at me without knowing the reason why she yelled at me. I stared at her with wide eyes as she tried to spin the key to turn on the engine.

"Fuck! Start!" She yelled finally spinning it.

She put the van into gear then drove off like a mad woman, only when we were down a few blocks did she decided to obey the speed limit. I gulped, was it safe to speak?

"What was that about?" I asked.

"What?!" She yelled.

I flinched.

"Sorry Goldie Locks," she sighed, "I just saw this guy I used to mess around with back there. I didn't want him seeing me."

I blinked.

"Is that all? Well damn Cana, who haven't you fucked? In high school too? Cougar alert!" I laughed.

Cana snorted, "shut up", before laughing with me.

And this was what I needed, laughs and dirty jokes with my Momma Bear and our Druken Bear friends.

"How was your day?" She asked once we calmed down.

I turned on the radio and started to mess with the dial.

"Surprising, I don't know if I've told you this, but my friend was in the hospital recently from..." I didn't want to give out Lisanna's business, "trauma. Well Lisanna came to school today and completely shocked everyone, hahaha. Now that I think of it, it was so funny!"

"Lisanna? Was that the red chick? Wow, she looked good."

"No, she's was the pretty one with the white hair."

"Oh... she still looked good from being hospitalized just recently."

"Acted good too, I know she's hiding something but I'm not going to pry. She's already told me enough..." I trailed off.

"Alright! You know how my day was? Horrible! I woke up to Bacchus ass in my face! HIS ASS! IN MY FACE!"

I waited for the laughter... waited.

"Did her fart?" It was barely audible, a whisper.

"YES!"

I burst out in laughter and Cana started swerving all around the road.

"I can't wait to tell Azuma! Better yet Midnight! Hell yeah, I can see it now!" I laughed.

"I'M GOING TO KILL US LUCY IF YOU DON'T STOP LAUGHING!"

November 11, 3:23 pm. Cana Alberona and Lucy Heartfilia died from a horrible car crash that could have been averted if Lucy would have stopped laughing.
