"Why we gotta meet him, Neil?" Isabelle groaned as they walked through the halls of the hideout.
"Schwarz is one of the new bosses in London." Neil said, "I want to know how he is exactly. He also seems to want to know about us, since we also got an invitation."
Isabelle nodded, along with Thomas. Maximillian Schwarz is a German rat who at first was a small crime boss, who then skyrocketed after Ratigans fall from Big Ben. He was also known as a misogynist racist and a ruthless businessman.
Isabelle was pulled from her own thoughts when Neil knocked on a fancy door.
"Enter." A smoky British voice said.
They entered and saw a blonde coiffed mouse sitting in a red chair. He glanced at Neil with wide eyes, probably taking in his likeness to Basil. But when he saw Isabelle and Thomas, he sneered.
"Who are these degenerates?"
Isabelle snarled and nearly advanced towards Schwarz, but Thomas grabbed her shoulder and shook his head. Schwarz looked unimpressed.
"These…degenerates are my confidantes and colleagues and family. Isabelle is both my cousin and thief."
"Your thief is a woman."
"Is that a problem?" Isabelle said with a dangerous tone.
"I don't think a woman has much use except for breeding and housework. I don't think a rat is use for anything…except for fodder."
Now both Thomas and Isabelle tense, but Neil holds up his hand.
"Is there a reason you asked us here?"
"Yes." Schwarz said, "I would like you to work for my organization. I will tell you what to steal and you will fence it through me."
Neil gave a soft smile, but only those close to him knew it was a dangerous one.
"I'm afraid we are of the independent lot. We work for no one, especially a sweine as yourself."
Schwarz gave him an equal cold stare.
"But I have heard you work for Ratigan."
"It's actually with Ratigan." Neil said, "That's quite a difference. Now if you excuse me…"
Neil spun around and motioned for Thomas and Isabelle to follow him to the door. Before they left, Neil gave Schwarz a final look.
"Herr Schwarz, I hope we never meet again." He said as he and the others left, but Neil knew better.
They just made a new enemy.
AN: Finally, I put Schwarz in!
He is actually a major villain that will be in final part of Into the Night, but I wanted to introduce him first. So, as you could see, he's kind of an asshole. I put Sebastian Roche as his voice, he can really play a villain.
Now for the reason Schwarz has a British accent is because he picked it up in London, just in case anyone wonders.
