You know what guys? I just discovered something…
HELL WEEK IS REAL!
My gawd! I thought my parents were kidding when they told me that…
That is the cause why I couldn't update as I had promised…. I'm so sorry guys.
My professors had us completing projects (at only a 4 days time) last week, and now is my finals exam…the week after my projects week. I haven't slept a wink since the whole last week started! I feel as if I just died and was resurrected as a zombie. Making java programs, a database, an English research paper, and a legit website IS JUST WTF! Then… I have to study for my finals while I do these! I'm no superhero, you know?!
I'm sorry for venting. Haha. For some reason, typing my feelings out is quite refreshing.
Anyways, Thanks to all you lovely readers! I love you guys for actually clicking the title of this maybe-not-as-crappy story. I would also like to say thanks to those who reviewed! OMG! 121?! Like, seriously?
Well, I've kept your time, on with the show!
NINJA-SAMURAI-ASSASSIN
After Prussia had recited his vow towards his friends, they all talked about it for a while then Prussia got up because he still had paperwork to do. He said his farewells to France and Spain, and waked towards his quarters.
"You know, you should just give up…."
Spain glanced at France questioningly.
France sighed. "I meant about South." France then stared at the sky. "He is not this 'Romano' you knew… This isn't even your universe to begin with. Love just causes confusion and hurt, why risk your sanity for something as illogical as that? I can never comprehend it"
"We risk I because it makes us feel something"
France looked at him, a bored expression on his face. "Explain"
It was Spain's turn to sigh. Why was this France so opposite from his France? His France would always proclaim that nothing in the world could overpower love. "I don't know about you, but love is everything and nothing at the same time. It makes you feel happy, excited, angry, frustrated, a splash of emotions all in one. It also makes you feel empty once those emotions are gone… It's wonderful, it's maddening, it's what makes people human beings. It is also love that makes us feel human as well, and not just entities that represents the lands of the earth"
"…so in short, it is what makes us enjoy life…"
Spain chuckled and shook his head. "No, more like Love is Life itself. I don't think a person could continue on living if they had no love within themselves. Babies may have just been months old, but they have an unconditional love towards their parents. Friendship is also a form of love, it is what makes you feel care towards an individual. A fondness to material things is also a form of love. Anywhere you go, love is there. You could see it in nature, the human race, in religion, and in many more situations. It could happen to the people around you, or within yourself…"
France nodded and faced the sky once more. "For an idiot, you say very deep thoughts"
"Haha" Spain laughed. "I don't know if that was a compliment or not, but thanks."
France closed his eyes. "I want to feel it again…"
"Feel what, amigo?"
"Emotions. Life…Love. I have been this way for centuries, I could never remember when I even started hating love, or hating life itself. As a country, we have no lives. We exist for the people, once the people turns away from us, we could never do anything about it. We would just fade away, and everything we had ever worked hard to achieve would be displayed in museums or written in books. They would never remember the little wonders that happens, those would never be written down on textbooks. They will remember us by our country name, but will they remember us for who we really are? Would we just fade away into nothing, while new countries would be created to replace the elder? Is that the path we country's are required to walk upon? Immortality until forgotten… that's a great way to describe a life cycle of a country. We are immortal but once the citizens start revolutionizing, we would soon be replaced and later on fade, then lastly, forgotten by everyone"
Spain gulped. What France said is true. It was what country's dreaded to happen, to be replaced, to be overpowered, to fade into nothingness. Why do you think country's like to do crazy antics, like beating or creating world records, competing against each other for victory, inventing better materials for the world. It was to be triumphant, to be recognized…to be remembered for centuries to come. All nations knew this. They knew that there was really no such thing as immortality, they themselves could die. That's why the countries try their best to keep their people happy. They help with tourism, the economy as well as international friendships…
Why does France have to turn a beautiful topic like love into sad topic like death and reality?
"Francia, you are thinking too much. Nothing is constant except change. All we have to do is be patient and be ready when that time comes, but for now, we should focus on our people, the lands, the economy, and what we could do now. We are still alive, aren't we? Lets do our best and maybe we could live for another fruitful millennia. We both, are proof that he newer nations cannot overthrow years of experience. Spain, France, England, Prussia, Italy, Greece, Turkey, these are a few examples of countries that has lived since the days of knights…maybe even older. I say, we worry about the future once it comes knocking on our doorsteps, for now, let us focus on our present"
France finally released a small smile. "Yes, that sounds…nice." He then stood and walked towards the stables. "I think I'll try it"
"Try what, exactly?"
"To color this monochrome heart of mine"
NINJA-SAMURAI-ASSASSIN
Later in the afternoon, Spain was taking a walk around his garden when he spotted Iceland and Belarus. He walked slowly towards them. The assassins gave him an unamused glance while Spain chuckled. He was used to those since Roma would give him some of those looks himself.
"Hola!" Spain greeted.
Nods from the other two assassins.
Spain laughed away the awkwardness of the situation. "So! Are you going to continue telling me South's past? I really want to know more about him"
Belarus glared but Iceland simply just shrugged his shoulders. "I guess so…"
Belarus rolled her eyes. "Let's just get this over and be done with this. South is going to be married and this creep is trying to steal him away from that Prussian asshole that had already stole South from us!"
Spain couldn't help but snicker. "Bitter?"
A flash of murderous rage flickered in the Belarusian's eyes but it quickly dissolved back to nothing. "No. I just don't like people trying so hard to squeeze into a lifestyle that he doesn't even know of, much less, is capable of"
Spain's usual smile twitched, then after a moment, his smile was transformed into that of a psychopath. "Have you already forgotten who practically massacred you? My, my…how about some….re-education…" the way he said re-education…made the 3 of them shiver, though…Spain's shiver was one was delight.
"Say… do you want…? I could make you…-how did North phrase it? Ah!- even more colorful!"
She was about to literally kill the Spaniard when Iceland had placed two green syringes on the fighting nations.
"A shot…" Iceland grumbled. "…from this, is enough to take down at least 3 elephants. So, what do you think will happen to two nations which has a body similar to that of a human's?"
"We could be out for a week?" Spain answered, a bit horrified at the syringe placed on his neck.
"For a human… it took a year and a few weeks" Belarus whimpered. "But, for us…"
"6 months" Iceland said coldly. "And within those 6 months, your dreams would become so lucid that you would think was already reality…and depending on your subconscious, your dream could either be really good or really bad…. But I know how to control that…"
Spain heard Belarus whimper once again.
Iceland laughed coldly, "Oh? Did you remember the rescue mission in Copenhagen? The one where you saw what happens when you mess with the doctor? You don't want that to happen again now, would you?"
Belarus shook her head slowly.
"Good Girl" Iceland then turned his attention towards the older nation. "And you? Will you behave? If you do, I'll try to reconsider poisoning you…"
Spain swallowed and slowly nodded.
"Good boy"
"So, will you tell me?"
"Fine, as long as you behave. We'll tell you everything else. Our training, missions, up until to who we are today"
Spain nodded eagerly.
Iceland sighed. "Alright. So it all started…"
NINJA-SAMURAI-ASSASSIN
"Finally!" A chibi Belarus cheered. "Our first day of real training!"
Iceland nodded and smiled. "Yes. Though, South's teachings on being a nation is also very important. Try to remember that, Belarus"
Belarus rolled her eyes and groaned. "But that's so boring! I want to become stronger and follow South!" Belarus then did a flip and stumbled on the landing. "South has been going on more missions lately… One time, I even saw him arrive with a bullet wound! He asked one of the male servants to take it out and didn't even scream! I…" she suddenly looked at the ground. "…I want to protect him… he made me see that there's still hope, we just have to find a way to create a path to a destiny we desire"
Iceland stared at Belarus. "I agree, I want to help him as well. I thought I would be abandoned. I have been a colony for so long, all I had to do was do what was expected of me. Never had I realized that I could change my fate. Watching South, I want to be closer to him. He was a colony as well, and was treated poorly, even more so than us. Yet, he thrived to find a light on the situation" Iceland then paused. "I wonder how Turkey raised him… I mean, it was usually South with us, and we're all practically the same age in human years. How did Turkey take care of South?"
The two little nations were at the garden. Both sat down under a large tree and watched the peaceful breeze sway the plants.
"Funny…I was actually wondering the same thing…" Belarus admitted. "I bet Turkey is a ninja and taught South how to spy and stuff!" Belarus then started doing some kung fu moves. "Have you seen him kill?"
Iceland shook his head. Even if South was his superior and friend, he could not bear the thought of death yet…well, not to some extent.
Belarus smiled, "It was amazing! He looked so graceful! It was like a ballet, he danced through the enemies and killed them all in one swipe…"
Iceland gave her a disgusted look. "You enjoy watching other people suffer?!"
The smile on the girl's face instantly dropped and was replace by a deep scowl. "No, never" she sighed and looked at Iceland in the eyes. "Iceland, we three are products of abuse. I hate my sister for what she did, and I don't think I could ever forgive my brother for turning a blind eye at all her beatings and lying to me about actually caring. Being alive hurts. It hurts and it will continue hurting us until we are gone. Didn't you ever wish to end your pain? Even if it was just for a little while?"
Iceland nodded, remembering Finland's harsh words and beatings as well as Norway's obsession towards him.
"See? There's noting wrong with wanting to die due to pain, but there's a difference in the way you deal with it. True, suicide is an easy escape from reality… and then what? You practically let them win! You ran away, for good. There are people like us and South that rises and tries to change our destinies" she sighed. "I hated the thought of killing as well, but when you see South kill people… you could actually understand. No one wants to run away from a battle, you have to face it head on. The look in South's eyes…he was determined. He knew that those people, his victims, would never want a cowardly death. South gives it his all to make sure that the death is how the victim wanted it to be…Plus South never prolonged a death of a person he doesn't hate. As I said, we all experienced torture. He wouldn't want anyone, but people he really dislikes, to feel what he had felt during his childhood. I respect him for that. That's why I want to learn how to kill. To protect my family, and to help end misery"
Iceland stared at Belarus for a while before smiling. "You have a twisted way of making a murder seem justified, you know that?"
Belarus shrugged. "That's what I believe in. What about you? Do you think my belief is wrong?"
There was no response from Iceland at first, but he then chuckled. "No. I actually like your belief, to be honest. The usual way is to help people with family, togetherness and other stuff, but your method is just as effective. Their misery ended. That's that. No complication, no verbal or physical fights, just one slice. But, we should set some standards…"
"Like what? No women and children?"
Iceland chuckled. "There are already women killers out there, and we're children yet we know of suffering and killing. It would be unwise to keep women and children to be alive if they could adapt to that"
Belarus laughed. "Good Points! So, what standard do you have in mind?"
"First of all, no torture…unless necessary. Torture is a bit unavoidable…but nothing too extreme."
A nod from Belarus. "Next, how about…the victim gets a vote on how they want to die!"
"You mean Chase or Slash?"
"Yup! It could be fun for both parties…okay, just us"
"Anything to add?"
"None really"
"Then that's all. It's even perfect, just 2"
"Two what?"
"SOUTH!"
South gave them a smile. "So, what kept you two busy while I was away?"
"Well, one is that today is the first day we are going training!"
"You're training already? Good job. Keep this up and the three of us would go on missions with each other soon"
The two younger nations gave South a huge grin. "YES!"
The three of them laughed and told each other stories on what transpired while one was away.
Just then, Iceland remembered something. "Hey South? How did Turkey raise you? Was it like Austria, Ukraine and Finland?"
South laughed. "No. He takes training and studies seriously though, and likes to rile people up, but he's a good guy" he then paused and looked at the two seriously. "Try not to anger him too much though. He'll lock you up in a den of tigers"
Belarus and Iceland laughed but then noticed that South wasn't laughing.
"Seriously?!"
South nodded. "Let's say…I might have said something below the belt. Punishment was to be expected, but I couldn't sleep with all the attacks. You'll live though, the tigers has no teeth or claws. It was removed, but the punches and cuddly wrestling of those giants are enough to squash you"
But then, South smiled. "He's actually a great leader. A bit strict though. Missions should be done with precise accuracy or you get punishment and 2 more missions to atone for your mistake. My training with him had me doing so many punishments. Cleaning, washing, more studies, confiscation of some of my stuff, sleeping outside with no blankets, No sweets, trapped in a dark room, 50-meter dash in the ocean, language studies, weapon shining, dangling upside-down, there were others… but let's not go there"
"You did a lot of mistakes?"
South blushed, "N-not that many! It's just that he always want everything done his way! So, whenever I did the exercise in a way I thought off…he would punish me!"
The three of them laughed.
"Hey South! Want to Chase and Slash?"
South rose an eyebrow. "Are you sure you want me to play with you? You know what? I'll make it easier, I'll only release 25% of my abilities. This should be enough for you"
"We're not weak!" Belarus yelled as she took a plastic knife and ran away, may be to hide.
"Do not underestimate us, South. Someday, we'll stand o equal ground" with that said, Iceland took a plastic knife as well and headed off.
South just stared at his trainees, his friends. "You don't need that someday. Iceland's already nearing me at academics, while at reflexes, Belarus is already second to me. Together, those two would be unstoppable…"
"OW! BELARUS!"
"SORRY ICE-OW! YOU LITTLE-!"
South laughed once more and listened to his subordinates' crazy antics. "…maybe, with a bit more guidance" he stared at the sky. "Hey, Romano… this isn't the life you wanted isn't it?"
No answer came.
Chuckling, South reached his hand towards the sky, as if trying to reach it. "I'm going crazy aren't I? Talking to the past…talking to someone dead…"
The rustling of leaves.
"Don't you think so, too?" South ducked just in time from a swipe from an assassin sent to kill him, again. South turned his body half around and kicked the knife out of the assassin's hand and it went to the skies. Then, South turned around completely as the caught the knife, with accurate precision, and quickly slashed the assassin's throat.
The body instantly dropped to the ground.
One last glance at the sky, South whispered, "Goodbye Romano…"
And then, he headed off to catch his friends.

Well, the next one, I'll try to make on my semestral break. But, don't expect much, people…
Anyways, I made this out of boredom due to my physic professor "talk-shitting" me to go to school, 7 in the morning for an exam he never came in to. The nerve….
And my travel time is always 2 hours, plus an hour to get ready….
So I wake up 4:30 A.M everyday…
Sad? Yeah, I know.
