So I'm back, it has taken me forever to write this chapter and I'm really sorry. All your comments about how you loved the story and wanted more made me want to keep writing for you guys! I hope you guys like this chapter and let me know what you think?

Clary's POV

Being bedridden sucks. That's what Clary got out of this whole experience. Not that she needs to be more careful or that she shouldn't have strayed away from the group in the first place, just that being stuck in a bed for over a week now has sucked.

People were constantly hovering over Clary, not letting her do even the simplest of things. Jace was the worst of all. He hasn't left Clary's side this entire time and if he did he would have Alec sit in the chair and stare at Clary awkwardly. She hated it. Clary found it sweet at first but after a whole week of trying, she still couldn't stand up for more than a few minutes without feeling lightheaded. And she was beginning to get cranky.

With a sigh she set down the book she was reading on Jace's night table and looked up to see Jace staring at her. "What?" She asked.

"Nothing. I'm just making sure you're okay." Jace replied with a shrug, but Clary could tell that he was still really shaken by what happened to her. He still hasn't been eating or sleeping much. The dark bags underneath his eyes proved it.

"Well I'm fine."

"No, you're not. You were stabbed Clary. That's not something you can simple bounce back from." He gave her a sharp look.

Clary returned the glare, "Well if you guys would just tell me what actually happened in that damn hotel then maybe I would be able to 'bounce back'." All week she has been trying to remember what happen to her and her friends that left them all so tense. They wouldn't tell her anything and it was driving her insane. The only thing she could remember was seeing Sebastian's black eyes and a sharp pain all throughout her body. She shivered slightly at the thought.

"You don't need to know." Jace looked away, not making eye contact.

"Yes I do Jace! It's my brother and he is the one who hurt me! I deserve to know what happened!"

"Let it go, Clary." Jace said, voice rising.

"No! I won't just let it go! Stop treating me like I'm nothing!" Clary yelled back at him, she knew she was just doing it to get a rise out of him but she had so much pent up tension that she needed to let out.

"That's the problem! You are everything!" Jace's voice cracked. "I can't lose you and just seeing what he did to you, I can't tell it to you and see you fall into a dark hole. I won't go through that again!"

Clary took a deep breath, knowing she would have to choose her next words very carefully. "Jace, I know what he did was terrible. But if no one tells me I will never be able to move on. And I would rather hear it from you then someone else. I would rather the whole truth no matter how terrible than to have someone else sugarcoat it for me. Please Jace I need to know. "

Jace sighed and ran his hands through his hair before standing up and coming to sit next to her on the bed. He slowly, as to make sure she didn't get hurt, picked her up and placed her in his lap with her facing him. Jace looked her straight in the eyes and said, "I will tell you. But you have to promise me you won't push me away afterwards."

"I promise." She said the words not knowing if they were true or not.

Jace's POV

Jace relaxed slightly even though he knew that her promise didn't mean much. She was going to turn away from him, and he couldn't do anything about it. Jace looked intently into her green eyes before sighing and running his hands through his hair. "Okay." Jace continued to stare at her, not wanting to start such a serious conversation, "You were taken by Sebastian while we were going over our plan one last time. We didn't know where you were but we knew that you wouldn't just run away like that so we went to Hotel Dumort to find you. I could hear you screaming from outside the hotel. It was terrifying. Sebastian was torturing you-" Jace clenched his hands together to distract himself from the vivid image that was appearing before him, "He was – he was going to – to do things to you. If I didn't get there sooner I don't know what –"

"But you did. You saved me." Clary whispered grasping Jace's hands in between hers.

"No. I didn't. He still hurt you, hurt everyone else. You could have died that day Clary and it would have been all my fault." Jace looked into Clary's eyes to see her looking at him strangely. "What?"

"You are so unbelievably selfless. You put so much guilt on yourself. Guilt that you shouldn't have to bear. Sebastian would have caught me no matter what. He needed my blood and he always makes sure he gets what he wants. You are the most amazing person I have ever met and please try to not feel so guilty about what happened. I'm here. I'm safe. And I love you more than anything." Clary gave a little half smile to Jace and his resolve broke. He put his hands on her cheeks and kissed her softly, at first. But then Clary wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself closer to his torso making him grasp her tightly to him. The passion between them built as Jace continued to hold her close and kiss her until there was no light left in the room.

Eventually he let go, not without a pout from Clary, and got off the bed. He helped her lie down and kissed her softly on the lips. "Thank you."

Clary only smiled. Jace began to turn away when Clary grabbed at his wrist. "Stay with me?"

Jace climbed in next to her and held her close. This is where he belonged, next to her, "Always."

Simon's POV

It was time for the next meeting with the silent brothers about the baby. Simon was waiting by the elevator for Isabelle who was as usual, late. He rolled his eyes before taking out his phone to distract himself. Five minutes later, he was just about to go drag Isabelle out of her room when she came bouncy down the hallway as joyful as ever.

She skipped up to Simon, kissing him softly on the lips before grabbing him by the arm and saying, "C'mon slow poke we're going to be late!"

Isabelle's POV

When the couple arrived at the City of Bones they hurried down to meet with the shadowunters. They stumbled into the wide room making a lot of noise in a place that is always so quiet making all the silent brothers turn to them.

Isabelle shivered before taking Simons hand and smiling guiltily at the brethren before them, "Sorry, this boy over here was doing his makeup."

Simon rolled his eyes before guiding Isabelle forward. He pushed her forward slightly and Isabelle turned around to glare at him. He shrugged as if saying I'm not the one who's pregnant.

One of the silent brothers stepped forward and placed his cold, pale hands on Isabelle's stomach. She tried not to flinch at the feeling. Everyone stood silent while the silent brother looked into her stomach to check on her growing child. After a long time, the silent brother stepped away slowly and spoke into Isabelle's mind, I hate to inform you of this Miss. Lightwood, but it appears you have had a miscarriage.

All the breath was sucked out of Isabelle. She didn't understand, "What?"

You were in a fight a week ago, were you not? Did you happen to be injured during this battle? A different silent brother, one Isabelle recognized as brother Jeremiah said.

"Well, I – yes I was." She responded quietly. She felt Simon stand beside her and grip her hand tightly in his own. She looked to him and saw his eyes glassy. She looked back at the silent brothers and tried to keep herself from crying, "So what? Our child died just like that? That's it?"

I believe so, I'm sorry. However, look on the bright side, now you can wait again until you're ready.

But that's the thing, Isabelle thought, she was ready.

Clace fluff and sizzy is sad, what do you want to see happen next? Let me know in a comment maybe? 10 comments and I will write another chapter! I want to continue but if there is no more interest because it has been so long I might not. Thanks!
