Please don't kill me, just enjoy the chapter.
"Hummel?" The nurse calls across the waiting room as she looks for the next patient.
Blaine had let Kurt fill out the paperwork as apparently he couldn't remember all of his cravings, or when they occurred, so it's possible Kurt had written in Hummel as the last name. Blaine stands up cautiously, minutely glancing around in case anyone else stood up for the name, but no one did.
A few minutes later, after all the required measurements had been taken, the couple is sitting in an examination room waiting for their doctor to show up.
"So?" Blaine starts, breaking the silence.
Kurt simply responds with a curious glance as he looks at the boy from his perch on the edge of a chair stationed next to the examination table Blaine's sitting on.
"WhydidyouputHummelinasthelastname?" The words rush out of Blaine's mouth.
Kurt cracks a smile at the curly haired boy, and says, "I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that."
Blaine takes a deep breath, as if preparing for an incredibly nerve wracking task, and ventures, "Why did you put Hummel in as the last name?"
Kurt's smile suddenly disappears and a slight fear replaces the look of joy in his beautiful blue eyes. "I'm so sorry. I didn't even think about what I was writing. Guess it just kinda slipped out."
"It's okay, I'm not mad. It's just, well." Blaine cuts himself off, and stares down at his hands as they twist together nervously in his lap.
"Just what, Blaine?" He coaxes gently.
"It's just. Is that where you think we're headed?" The younger boy finishes.
Kurt furrows his brow, and asks, "What do you mean?"
His confused tone causes Blaine to look right into his glassy blue eyes as he explains, "Marriage, Kurt. Is that where you think this is heading?"
The older one of the two isn't quite sure how to respond to that. "Well, um, I honestly can't see myself with anyone else for the rest of my life, but we are still new to our relationship."
Blaine nods his head understandingly, and responds with, "It doesn't feel like a new relationship, though. It feels like I've known you forever."
That simple statement is enough to bring tears to Kurt's eyes, and he gets up to gather the ebony haired boy in his arms. He pulls Blaine's lips to his for a kiss that he hopes conveys all the love he feels for the amber eyed boy, and Blaine responds in kind as his own love for the taller man overtakes his senses.
A quick knock on the door interrupts the couple, and they pull apart just in time for the door to swing open, revealing a smiling Dr. Graham.
An hour later, the boys walk out of the doctor's office with new pictures of their little one, and a list of 'Do's & Don'ts' from the doctor.
"Now what?" Kurt asks as the pair climb into his Navigator.
Blaine opens his mouth to respond, but stops short when his stomach rumbles loudly.
Kurt's laugh brightens up the car, and he responds with, "Well, that answers that."
"Actually, I was thinking that since it's just now going on twelve, I figured we could catch a movie, and have a late lunch. Besides, I have a really bad craving for some chocolate covered popcorn."
"Alright. But I am so not sharing popcorn with you." Kurt replies teasingly as he drives towards the movie theater.
"Oh my goodness, Kurt, that was such a good movie!" Blaine wails as tears stream from his amber eyes, making tear tracks down his face.
Kurt just rubs his back soothingly, and murmurs words of comfort.
"Wasn't it just so beautiful how Anna sacrificed herself for her sister, and ended up saving herself? And Olaf doesn't have to melt cause he got his own personal flurry!" The crying boy continues on with his review of the movie, earning a few not quite friendly glances. Kurt promptly sends each one his best bitch glare.
"Yes, it was a very good move." Kurt responds as he gently guides Blaine out of his seat to escort him out of the theater.
"Not just good, Kurt. Great, it was a great, amazing, beautiful movie." Blaine informs him matter of factly.
He simply pulls Blaine along to the car.
After the movie, all Blaine had wanted was to get home and partake in a Disney movie marathon. Kurt, ever the dutiful boyfriend, obliged his love's wish. So, a few hours later finds the couple cuddled up in a blanket on the couch with various snacks surrounding them, with the empty pizza box from lunch shoved under the coffee table, as Tangled flickers across the television screen.
This is the scene that Ashlynne come homes too, and she can't help but take a picture of the sleeping couple surrounded by their mess as the menu for Pocahontas plays in the background. She quietly shuts off the TV, makes sure both boys are covered with the blanket, then quickly trudges off to her bed.
Wow, so it's been a while, hasn't it? I'm really sorry about that, life just got really, really bad for me for a while there. However, things are slowly getting back on track, and I'm working through a bunch of my issues with a lot of support from friends and family. I wanna thank you guys for being so awesome and not unfavoriting/unfollowing my story. You guys are great.
I'm so, so, so sorry this chapter's so choppy, I'm trying to get back into the swing of writing. I'll be updating whenever I can.
Again, thank you guys so much for being patient. Love y'all.
