Author's Corner: Jesus christ, this is why I can't write multi-chaptered storires. I'm sure you all hate me now and that no one is even reading this so I'll just blabber away until something actually productive occurs to me. There's gonna be one more chapter after this, and I may write a little epilogue if you guys want me to. So yeah, there's gonna another chapter whether I shit out the alphabet in the correct way or not.

Disclaimer: I dunno, I kinda... *snores*

The corpses that Jashin had brought back to life were surprisingly agile despite having been dead for around twenty minutes. Without a word being passed between them, the group of five split up and began thrashing the group of zombies.

Hidan -Jashin- chuckled and strode lazily back towards the throne and the back on the clearing. He said down, crossing his legs and resting on elbow on the arm rest with his chin in his palm. The same way the Shi sat when he was still alive. Naruto walked after him, ignoring the battle going on around him. Any attempted made by the Jashinists to deter him were ignored entirely with an almost dissmissively flick of his hand. His eyes were icy blue as he glared poisonously at him.

"Give Hidan's body back." He snarled. Jashin chuckled and sat up.

"I rather like in here actually. What are you going to do about it, anyways? You can't hurt me without hurting him." He said. His eyes flicked pure black before returning to normal. A snide grin stretched across his lips.

"I'll beat you back to hell, you demonic son of a bitch. You'll wish you never came here when I'm done with you. Nobody hurts my friends without having to deal with me." He summoned two clones and crossed his arms. Jashin rolled his eyes and tapped the hilt of his scythe on the ground, making it clank against the small area of stone around him.

"Ooh, such a shame. That god you fought... Well, that was just a poser. Someone playing god to get retribution without having to deal with the guilt." He said. His eyes narrowed dangerously.

"You see, I'm the real thing. Eons of wisdom and knowledge are at my fingertips. I knew your grandparents and their grandparents. Naruto... you shouldn't challenge a god." He stood up, staring down at him. Naruto cried out and clutched his head as a searing pain ripped through it. His clones mimicked his movements before dispelling. He sank to his knees as his nose and ears began to leak blood. Hidan raised his scythe.

"Too bad. You had such talent. You could have been such an important ally." Jashin drawled with a shrug.

Sakura charged her fist with chakra and slammed it into a nearby Jashinist. Its entire jaw flew off, and he went sailing into a tree. It cracked and snapped like a twig. Sakura paused, breathing heavily. She watched with disgust as the Jashinist stood up and began attacking her right away. They weren't even human anymore- just dead bodies animated to be pawns in a war. Sakura gritted her teeth angrily.

"Go for the legs and arms!" She yelled to the group. "Cut them off entirely!"

"Roger, Sakura-chan!" Lee yelled. He had a Jashinist in an arm lock. With a sickening crack, he heaved and pulled until the arm had separated from the body entirely. Sakura swallowed thickly, avoiding the sight. Lee had certainly grown up after Neji's death in the war.

Sakura glanced at Jashin. Her eyes widened as she saw Naruto on his knees with Jashin preparing to decapitate him.

"NARUTO!" She screamed. Jashin brought down the scythe, slicing cleanly through his neck. He went limp and fell forward. Sakura watched, every nerve in her body frozen. A ringing began in her ears and the battle going on around them was drowned. The blondes body hit the ground- and disappeared.

Sakura gasped in a lungful of air.

"Eat this, asshole!" Naruto yelled as he jumped over the back of the throne and lunged at his, a glowing ball of swirling chakra in his hand. Jashin looked over his shoulder, his eyes widening slightly.

"What?!"He snarled. Naruto's rasengan slammed into his back and sent him spiraling away. He slammed into a small group of zombie-warriors, knocking them over. Kakashi flipped over them, landing awkwardly to avoiding crashing into the suddenly downed undead.

Jashin pushed himself onto his hands and knees. Everything was silent- even the Jashinists had stopped moving. A small huff of laughter escaped his lips. Then another... and another. Soon, he was howling with laughter. His back steamed and hissed as the wound from the rasengan healed with incredible speed. He straightened up onto his knees. A demonic grin was plastered on his lips, his silvery hair glowing in the moonlight.

"You really thought that that would stop me?!" He yelled. He got to his feet and brushed off his pants. He continued to chuckle quietly and he pressed a hand to his forehead.

"I overestimated you. You're not even worth wasting my time on." He said, sneering at them. Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi exchanged worried looks. The undead around them suddenly lunged into action. Lee swung his foot around and clocked one in the face. Hinata, who had been tending to Tatsuki, screamed as one suddenly leaped onto her back.

"Hinata-chan!" Naruto yelled worriedly. Amane had already handled it though. A feral growl escaped his throat as he hurled him off Hinata. He pounced on him viciously, tearing into him with his bare hands. The only thing left when he stood up, panting and blood covering him was a pile of limbs. His eyes gleamed, yellow and catlike. Claws had grown in the place of his nailed and parts of his face had dark blue scales growing on them. If there was any doubt about his lineage, there was none now.

Sakura returned her attention to Jashin- but he had vanished. She looked wildly around. Too late. She felt someone creep up behind her and wrestle her into a hold. She gasped shakily as Jashin pressed tightly on her joint, threatening wordlessly to break it. She felt his breath fan over her collarbone.

"Such a pretty little thing. No wonder Hidan took such a liking to you." He purred. No one seemed to have noticed her predicament yet and she inhaled deeply to scream for someone.

"Ah, ah," Jashin whispered. He increased the pressure, causing it to pop, but not break. She felt something icy cold wrap around her wrists and realized too late as Jashin released her that he had bound her with what looked like chakra ropes. Except they were pitch black and make the pinkette shudder violently. Her arms were pulled almost painful tight as the ropes shortened, sinking into the ground on either side of her.

Jashin took a strand of bubblegum hair and twirled it around his finger as he slowly walked around her. Sakura grimaced and jerked her head away, wanting to have as little contact with him as possible.

"Tsk, tsk, such stubbornness. You know, he completely adored you." He said offhandedly. Sakura stopped struggling.

"...What?" She breathed, trying to hide her surprised. Jashin smirked and brushed a finger over her face.

"Yes, he did. And you love him too." He said. Sakura swallowed thickly. She jerked her wrist halfheartedly.

"Get out of him. Now. You'll regret this, I swear it." Sakura growled, grinding her teeth together, infuriated. Jashin laughed and walked behind her. She felt him lean in close right near her ear. She leaned away, grimacing tightly.

"Ah, but sweetheart. I am Hidan now. He's gone, his subconscious has diminished to nothing. This body is mine now. You'll never see your starry-eyed mate again, baby," he breathed. Tears pricked at Sakura's eyes.

"You're lying. Hidan would never just give up." Sakura snapped. "He'll never stop fighting you, you sick son of a bitch." She thrashed against her restraints once more.

"Well, you see, Sakura-chan. My conscious is like a mountain. And Hidan is a tiny, insignificant pebble. Sooner or later, he'll be crushed. I can already feel him beginning to fade." He said, smirking at her. Rage flooded Sakura's body. Black tendrils began overtaking her scleras. Jashin was turned away, so he hadn't noticed. That is, until a dark, powerful chakra began entering his awareness. He turned around, a mild look of surprise on his face.

"You're not allowed to touch him, bastard." Inner snarled. The black ropes snapped like putty and she lashed out at him, swiping at him with a clawed hand. He leaned back, narrowed avoiding a deadly strike. His eyes were narrowed and deadly.

"What is this?" He snarled quietly.

"You asked for it, you god damn lousy fucking demonic son of scum-sucking whore!" Inner screamed, gaining the attention of Kakashi and Naruto. They exchanged a look and dashed at Jashin. Inner whipped her head and glared at them, fangs bared.

"You stay the hell out of this, this is my fight!" She howled. Naruto and Kakashi froze.

"Just don't kill him, Hidan's still in there. I can feel it." Naruto said, elbowing a Jashinist in the face that had tried to sneak up on him. Inner grinned maniacally and turned back to Jashin, flexing her fingers and rolling her shoulders.

"When I'm done with him, he'll wish he had never been born." She said confidently. She let out and animalistic roar and charged at Jashin, who stood still as a stone. Inner lunged at him. She swiped at him again and again he avoided it. Blurring in and out of sight, she pushed herself to the limit, trying to catch him with just one punch. That's all it would take.

She furiously threw punches and kicks at him but he frustratingly avoided nearly all of them. As she dove at him again, he backhanded her across the face, sending her tumbling and crashing across the clearing.

She dug her nails into the earth and screeched to halt. She wiped a trail of blood from her chin and snarled. Hidan spread his arms.

"Why, do you thing that animalistic style will ever work on me? It's chaotic and messy. You're disappointing, Sakura-chan." He sighed, crossing his arms over his chest. To his surprise, Inner grinned.

"Do you think I'm that stupid?" Inner purred, getting to her feet. She licked the blood off her lips and cocked her head slightly. "Look around you." She whispered. Jashin narrowed his eyes suspiciously. He looked down at the ground. Deep scratches had been dug into the earth... but they didn't look like anything. Just scratches.

"What are you-" Jashin was cut off as Inner slammed into him with full force, knocking him to the ground. He grappled to get him off of her, but she was like water- he couldn't get a hold on her long enough to trap her. She cracked her fist across his face repeatedly, living a mix of scratches and brusies.

"Get the hell out of his body!" Inner screamed. Jashin brought his fist down hard on her flank and Inner yelped, crashing away. She immediately leaped back onto him, wrapping her arm around his neck and tightening her grip into a choke hold. Jashin grabbed her by the hair and hurled her over his shoulder, slamming her into the group with dizzying force. Inne faltered, her head spinning. Jashin wrapped his fingers around her throat and black tendrils snaked around her legs, pinning her for the second time.

"You stupid girl! I should have killed you when I had the chance! You're nothing but a nuisance!" He threatened, his wounds already steaming and healing once more. Inner clawed at his fingers, gasping for breath. Black veins began to creep up her neck from where Jashin was touching her. Slowly, the black faded from her scleras as she returned to Sakura. Her mind racing, she sent a pulse of chakra into his fingers, paralyzing them temporarily. She broke his grip and kicked him away, inhaling lungfuls of needed air. She struggled to her feet, sliding into a defensive stance once more.

Jashin laughed as he hauled himself to his feet.

"Oh, Sakura! You are just so full of surprises!" He chuckled, a gruesome grin on his face. He summoned his scythe once more. Sakura held out her hand and her swords appeared in a swirl of glowing cherry blossoms. She swallowed thickly, wiping a trickle of blood from her mouth. Jashin ran his tongue over his lips.

"Right. I have a continent to conquer. I'd rather not waste anymore time here, honey." He hissed, a smirk lifting at his lips. Sakura threw out her hand and pink petals swarmed Jashin. The god rolled his eyes and held out a hand. A wall of whispery black energy held back the deadly petals with ease. Sakura growled under her breath and went after Jashin with one sword in tact and the other broken into a thousand smaller blades, attempting to breach his defense.

Sakura yelled angrily as she brought her sword down on Jashin. He raised his scythe and blocked the attack with smug triumph. Sakura ground her teeth together and twisted, swinging her blade around at his side. He blocked that too. Jashin suddenly reversed his grip on his scythe and swung the blunt end around with frightening speed. It slammed into her ribcage, making her gasp in pain as she was knocked away. Her petals were called back to its sword form as her concentration wavered.

She knew the rib was cracked immediately. She struggled to regain her breath as she pushed herself gingerly too her feet. She pushed the pain the flared with every breath to the back of her mind. She picked up her swords and one broke into pieces once more. She looked at him and allowed herself a small grimace of satisfaction as she saw several small cuts healing on his body. At least his defense wasn't completely impenetrable.

Sakura raised her sword. Jashin laughed and stared directly at her. The same splitting pain as before ripped through her head and her knees abruptly buckled. She clutched her head in agony, in too much pain to even scream.

"I told you, Sakura-chan..." Jashin said, his voice dead. He walked up to her and kicked her hard in the gut.

"Sakura-chan!" Naruto yelled. He ran to help her, but Jashin flicked his hand and suddenly flew back. A ring of black fire erupted around them and as Kakashi tried to cross it, he let out a cry of pain and stumbled back, his whole body steaming.

"You shouldn't play with gods. When you do, you get hurt." He said, kicking her once again, knocking her back. She could barely lift an arm and her head was still wracked with pain. Tears squeezed out of her eyes as he stepped on her wrists, pinning her to the ground. He raised his scythe, preparing to swipe down at her. Sakura screwed her eyes shut and turned her head to the side.

"H-Hidan... don't let him kill me, Hidan. I know you're stronger than this." She whispered. Jashin froze. The scythe slipped from his hand and vanished. He stumbled back and clutched his head.

"Don't you dare! This is impossible, you worthless-! This is my body, you impudent boy!" He yelled to seemingly no one. The pain vanished from Sakura's head and she struggled into a sitting position. She stared at him in confusion. Jashin opened his eyes, his face contorted with rage. He stumbled towards Sakura, looking fit to strangle her with his bare hands. Sakura slid back, fear pumping through her veins. Jashin suddenly dropped to his knees. His body trembled as if struggling to lift a massive.

Jashin looked up, the rage gone to be replaced with a wide-eyed look of something like surprise. Sakura stared in shock. One eye had turned violet and the other remained white.

"Get out... of my fucking... HEAD!" Hidan yelled. He reached for the sword as held the tip of the blade to his chest. Sakura realized with sickening shock what he was about to do.

"Hidan, NO!" She screamed, attempting dive at him and stop what she knew would happen anyways. Hidan closed his eyes, a peaceful smile on his face.

"Sorry, Sakura." He murmured. The blade slid through his chest with a gut-wrenching sound.

"HIDAN!"
