Ethan: Anyway, for today, Rini and Shadow decides to visit Hotaru for the day... bearing a few bumps in the road along the way.
PDA: And it also seems Mimet goes after a person... because of a soap opera. Overdramatic, much?

Chapter 23
Hotaru's Silent Shadow of a Doubt!
"Bye bye, Katie. See you, tomorrow." Rini waves.
"Okay, Rini, see you in the morning." Katie says.
Rini, coming out from school, said goodbye to one of her friends, Katie. She's now on her way to see Hotaru. On the way, she sees Shadow.
"Hi, Shadow." Rini greets.
"Hey there, Rini. On your way to see Hotaru?" Shadow confirms.
"Yep. You ready?"
"Yeah. Let's go."
"Okay."
Shadow now joins Rini to see Hotaru as well. Along the way, a surprising person appears to meet Rini.
"Hello there, little one." Trista replies.
Rini and Shadow turns to see Trista. Of course, Rini knows her as Sailor Pluto.
"Huh? ... Pluto?" Rini recognizes the voice.
"How are you, my little lady. It's been so long!"
Rini happily gasps, "Pluto! Haha!"
Rini runs over to give a hug to Trista.
"You must be... Trista, yes?" Shadow confirms.
"That's right. Nice to see you again, Shadow."
"Same here."
The three sit down by a fountain.
"Actually... I was worried that you'd forgotten all about me." Rini moans. "Because, it's been a long time and you haven't even seen me at all."
"I would never forget you, Rini. You know that." Trista says.
Rini sighs, "Yeah..."
"You two know each other?" Shadow wonders.
"Yes. Have you ever heard of the story about Rini's future being in grave danger once before?" Trista asks.
"Actually, I haven't."
"Well, your brother knows about that story. Tell him to tell you all about it, later."
"Okay."
"So, Rini, I understand you have lots of friends here. Do you like living in this world?" Trista asks.
Rini slightly blushes, "Uh huh! It's great! All of my friends are so nice. Especially, Tina. She's like a big sister that I never had. Hahahaha!"
"Oh, Rini, that's so great to hear. You know, it seems that Queen Serenity must of sent you back into this time period so that you can have a normal and healthy childhood, like any other ordinary girl in this time would."
"Huh?"
'Wow, her mother sent her from the future to do all of that for Rini? Amazing!' Shadow thought.
"I'm sure she thought it would... help you for when you take the future role as queen." Trista continues.
"Say, Trista." Rini says.
"Hmm?"
"... I can see you anytime I want, is that right?"
"That's right." Trista nods.
"Do you promise?"
"Yes! I promise, Rini."
"Yaaay!"
"Hmm... we better get going, Rini." Shadow insists.
"Okay, we have to go now." Rini says.
"Alright." Trista says.
"See you later!" Rini waves.
"See you again, Trista!" Shadow says.
Rini and Shadow head off to where they need to go, next.
Amara and Michelle appear a bit after their conversation was over.
"You two seem to share a special affection. That's nice!" Michelle notices.
"Hahaha... She's a good kid. It's kind of hard to believe... that this little girl will be the princess of the future." Amara replies.
"Yes, but it's true. She's the rightful heir to the throne of the Silver Millennium." Trista states.
"Hmm... okay! Let's do our best to watch and protect her from harm. Anyway, we must find the rightful heir to the Purity Chalice."
"The Purity Chalice is the key. Now all we have to do to stop the deadly silence is place the Chalice in the hands of the princess who will use it right, correct?"
Amara and Michelle nod.
"Yeah, but why do you think they're still taking pure hearts?" Amara wonders.
"Could it be that they need it to fuel evilness within the purity princess?" Michelle guesses.
"Oh, I'm sure that's exactly what they're doing." Trista agrees.
"If the Purity Chalice falls into her hands..." Michelle thinks.
"She must be good, not evil." Amara concludes.
Meanwhile at the Witches 4…
"I'm sorry. I just can't go on deceiving you like this." A male voice says.
Mimet seems to be reacting to the voice. Is it her boyfriend?
"I can't be with you anymore. Please forgive me." He continues.
Mimet is in tears.
"But why? You know how much in love with you I am." Mimet sobs.
"I'm sorry, but I'm in love with someone else, and it's over between you and me." He explains.
"Oh no! What happened, Ivan?!" Mimet exclaims.
Oh! Should've figured. The TV on her computer is tuned to a soap opera. She seems to have lost it. Now she's rattling the monitor!
"Amy, is it you all this time, you lousy, slimy, two-timing cheater?!" Mimet proclaims.
"You're amazing, honey. Thank you for understanding." The man says.
Mimet's telephone rings…
"Why'd you break my heart?!" Mimet rages.
…and Mimet's rage finally causes her to dump the monitor over the edge. That's gonna cost her. Mimet picks up the phone.
"Yo, Mimet here! What do you want?! And make it fast!"
That's not a bright way to address someone who happens to be…
Dr. Tomoe replies, "Uh, yo. It's me."
…the doc.
"Oh…Dr. Tomoe." Mimet calms down and becomes happy.
"Working hard, are we, Mimet? Mustn't overdo. Anyway, have you identified a new target for me?"
"Yup, I'll get right on that."
"I'm counting on you, Mimet."
He hangs up. Well well, what a perfect opportunity.
Mimet says, "A new target. Well, one certainly springs to mind. You break my heart?! I TAKE yours… Mr. Love… OH!"
Not cool. First she smashes the monitor. Now she crushes the handset.
"Oh... not good."
The repair bill's climbing.
And at the Sovereign of Silence's chamber…
"I can't wait any longer for this world to be mine. I want to rest in silence." The Sovereign states.
"I beg your patience, your Highness." Dr. Tomoe insists.
The Sovereign struggles in her "throne".
"Pure hearts… give me more… pure hearts… now!"
Hotaru wakes up from her nap. It seemed like she had a rather fuzzy dream that felt real.
"Oh, not again. Uhh... I'm afraid of what I've done this time. I never remember anything after these spells."
Suddenly, the doorbell rings.
"Huh?" Hotaru hears.
Shadow and Rini have arrived to visit Hotaru.
Taking a lesson from visiting Hotaru's and Tina's houses for the first time, instead of struggling to reach the doorbell, Shadow rings the doorbell for her instead.
"I'm glad you're here with me, Shadow. Just the thought of trying to get to these doorbells is really annoying." Rini appreciates.
"It's no problem, Rini." Shadow nods.
After a few seconds, the door opens and Kaorinite appears to answer.
"Excuse us, miss Kaorinite. We're here to visit Hotaru. Is she home?" Shadow asks.
"I'm sorry, but she's resting right now. Too bad you came all this way. Perhaps another time." Kaorinite answers.
And... she closes the door afterwards.
"But... awww..." Rini frowns.
"Well, that sucks." Shadow sighs.
They start to walk away.
"I wonder why Hotaru always has to rest." Rini wonders.
"One has to wonder... if she has a condition or something." Shadow ponders.
Kaorinite's proclamation was... half-right. While Hotaru is not at the greatest condition today, she could use some company. Thinking that it is Rini and Shadow at the door, she goes over to see them, only to find out Kaorinite already sent them away.
"Kaorinite, did somebody come to the door a minute ago?" Hotaru asks.
"Yes, that little girl and that black hedgehog called on you, again."
"And?"
"I told them you could not come out."
"Ohhh! Why didn't you ask me, first?"
Hotaru runs to go see them, but before that...
"Hotaru." Kaorinite calls on Hotaru, causing her to stop for the moment.
"Hmm?"
"Your father's lack of discipline may lead you to do what you want, sometimes, but not when I'm here. I'm here to protect you when it affects your health."
While Kaorinite's words sounds like it might be sincere, it didn't to Hotaru who seems to have a great dislike for her.
"Ugh..."
"You know that you're not well enough to run outside, don't you?"
And despite her words, Hotaru ignores her, gives her a rather angry expression, and continues running off anyway.
"Well... what was that nasty look?" Kaorinite smirks.
And with Rini and Shadow...
"Could it be that something's really wrong with Hotaru? I hope not." Rini ponders.
"I really hope not, either." Shadow agrees.
"I'm sooo worried about her."
Hotaru runs and stops at a corner to take a breath from running. With her condition, she gets tired more easily. Regardless, she manages to spot Rini and Shadow.
"Oh!" Hotaru spots them. "Rini! Shadow!"
Hearing her voice, they turn around and surprisingly find her.
"Hotaru!" Rini shouts.
"Ohhh?" Shadow says.
Hotaru runs up to them, and catches her breath.
"Are you alright?" Rini asks.
"I was able to catch up with you two." Hotaru says.
"You don't look very well."
"Are you sure you should be outside, today?" Shadow asks.
"Don't worry about it... I missed you two at my house. Was Kaorinite rude at all? She bothers me and... I kind of worried about... ohhhh..." Hotaru replies.
Hotaru becomes exhausted and starts to faint. Shadow catches her, and both he and Rini became very worried.
"Hotaru! ... Hotaru!" Shadow calls.
"Hotaru!" Rini also calls.
"I'm sorry... Rini... Shadow..." Hotaru faintly apologizes.
"Hotaru... Hotaru... HOTARU!" Rini shouts.
"Hotaru..." Shadow becomes depressed.
Luckily, at another corner, Serena is walking home from school with Thomas tagging along, discussing about Tina's second game. They ended up seeing a not so good situation at hand.
"Huh? Rini?" Serena notices.
"Shadow, too." Thomas also notices.
They go up to them to investigate the situation.
"Rini, what happened?" Serena asks.
"Oh, Serena, it's terrible." Rini starts to sob. "Hotaru came all the way to see us, and... and... Hotaru fainted!"
"How did this happen, Rini?"
"I don't know... She just collapsed! Oh, Serena, what are we gonna do? Waaaaaaaaa..." Rini cries.
"It's gonna be alright, Rini. Don't worry, we're gonna take her to hospital." Thomas smiles and assures.
"Thomas..." Rini looks at Thomas, knowing that they had the situation under control, then she turns to Serena and hugs her, wanting some support.
Serena comforts her, "It's okay, Rini. Hotaru's gonna be just fine."
'Hotaru...' Shadow, still holding on to Hotaru, sheds a few tears as well.
'Shadow...' Thomas notices Shadow's tears for Hotaru. It seems he's fully aware of how he feels for her.
They take Hotaru to the hospital. Serena, Rini, and Shadow are all watching Hotaru as she rests in the bed. Hotaru sweats a little while she's sleeping.
Rini says, "Hotaru... If Shadow and I hadn't call on you today, this never would have happened. Hotaru, please forgive me."
Serena disagrees, "That's not true."
"Huh?"
"You mean something to her, Rini, just as she does to you. It's the same with you, Shadow. That's why she ran after you two today, even though she knew she shouldn't."
"Ohh?"
"You watch over now, okay, Rini? And when she wakes up from her sleep, she'll be glad to see you." Serena winks, "She'll be alright, you'll see."
Rini smiles. Shadow also smiles and thought, 'She's right. She really does care about us. Hotaru...'
It seems that Hotaru is experiencing a bad dream.
In her dream, a younger Hotaru cries because her goldfish died. It seems that the bowl that the goldfish was swimming in shattered.
Hotaru cries, "Oh, my poor Bubbles... Who did this to my poor goldfish?"
"Who did it? Oh, darling... Please don't talk nonsense. You're the one who did it." Kaorinite states. "And you better clean it up!"
"Ahhh! I did it!" A sad Hotaru says.
Another part of the dream sees Hotaru older then her previous dream going to school. She's in the classroom.
Hotaru greets, "Good morning."
The other students have gathered around one student at a desk.
Hotaru goes in closer to see what's going on. Upon closer inspection, the male student got hurt quite a bit by... something. The students believe it was Hotaru who did it.
Hotaru asks, "What happened, Billy? Are you okay?"
She reaches out to touch his hand, but he got afraid of her.
Hotaru wonders, "Huh? What's wrong?"
A male student says, "Can you believe her? She hurts her and pretends like nothing happened."
A female student says, "She's a really rotten faker, isn't she?"
Hotaru starts to cry, runs away, and goes back home to cling to her father.
Hotaru tells him, "Daddy, they said that I hurt a friend of mine. But... I can't remember things like that."
Her father comforts her, "It's alright, Hotaru. Don't cry. It's not your fault... not at all."
"I'll never be able to make any friends. I know that now. There's someone inside of me... someone that does bad things, and I can't control what they do."
So it seems that the problems she had has happened even all the way back when she was a little girl. Poor, Hotaru...
Coming out of her dreams, Rini and Shadow still worry about her.
Thomas comes into their room.
Serena notices, "Thomas!"
Thomas says, "I've spoken to Amy's mother. She should be here, soon."
"That's great!"
"Looks like she's feeling a lot better. I just hope she'll be okay."
Thomas sits next to Shadow, to watch and hope that Hotaru will be better.
Thomas says to Shadow, "Hey, brother, how are you?"
Shadow doesn't say anything.
Thomas continues, "I know you're worried about her. Rini is just as worried."
Shadow looks up at his brother.
Thomas continues again and smiles, "Everything will be alright. I promise!"
Shadow nods and looks back at Hotaru.
After a few moments, Hotaru reacts while sleeping. She now faces Shadow's side.
Shadow goes up to her and holds her hand with one of his. In reaction to this, Hotaru holds his hand right back.
And in a few more seconds, Hotaru slowly opens her eyes and looks into Shadow's eyes.
Hotaru says faintly, "Shadow..."
Shadow smiles, "You're awake."
The others notice. Rini runs over to the other side to see the awakened Hotaru.
Rini says, "Hotaru!"
Hotaru says faintly, "Shadow, Rini... thank you..."
Hotaru starts to get up. But Shadow says, "No, you still need to rest."
Hotaru holds his hand with both of hers and replies, "I'm alright, Shadow."
Shadow asks, "So, are you feeling a lot better?"
Hotaru nods. Rini asks, "Are you feeling a lot stronger?"
Hotaru nods again. Rini sobs, "Oh, I'm so glad! I was so worried about you!"
Rini goes up to Hotaru and hugs her.
Hotaru thought, 'Rini...'
Thomas greets, "Hey there."
Hotaru notices the others, "Oh, hi."
Serena introduces herself, "It's nice to finally meet you, Hotaru. I'm Serena."
"Serena... Oh yes, Rini told me about you. You take care of Rini, right?"
"That's right."
"Nice to meet you."
Thomas introduces, "I'm Thomas. I'm Tina's boyfriend and Shadow's brother."
Hotaru recalls, "I did remember Shadow mentioning you a few times. Nice to meet you, Thomas. And thank you for helping me."
Hotaru starts to get out of bed. Thomas says, "Are you sure you should be doing that?"
"Don't worry, this happens to me all the time."
"Well, maybe you should stay anyway. See, I'll called Amy's mother over to check on you."
"I'm sorry. I'm afraid I'll have to decline. See, my father won't allow me to see any other doctor, other than the family doctor at home. I better go. Rini, Shadow, thank you again for all the help. I'll see you again..."
Hotaru leaves the room. Rini says, "I'll walk her home!"
Rini follows her. Shadow says, "I'll go with them, just in case."
Shadow follows them as well.
Hotaru turns around, and bows, "Thank you so much once again. I hope we meet again, soon."
As they are walking off, Serena pops out of the door to say something else, "Oh, Hotaru! Our mom's a fabulous cook and loves to bake all kinds of goodies."
Hotaru listens, "Ohh?"
"You're welcome to come anytime and try it out." Serena points and winks.
"Thanks!"
Hotaru bows once more and they continue to walk off.
Serena smiles, "That's a promise!"
Thomas smiles, "That Hotaru's cute, isn't she?"
"Yeah. They have such a great friend."
As the three walk off, Amara, in her car, notices them and stops.
Shadow says, "Hey, it's Amara."
Amara greets, "Hi. Where are you guys going?" She winks, "I'll give you a ride if you like."
Rini nods, "That would be great!"
Rini, Hotaru, and Shadow are now riding in Amara's car, with Shadow sitting at the front. Shadow decides to rest.
Rini complimets, "Cool car! Thanks, Amara."
"No problem. Am I going the right way?"
Hotaru says, "Yes, thanks."
Amara smiles, "Hey Shadow, you enjoying the ride?"
"Yes. This breeze is quite... relaxing."
Amara giggles and turns back to meet Hotaru. "I'm Amara by the way. What's your name?"
"Hotaru Tomoe."
"Ahhh! You're father wouldn't happen to be Dr. Tomoe, would it?"
"Yes."
Amara gives off an interesting glare at her back seat mirror.
Shadow heard her question, 'Hmm... does Amara know something about Dr. Tomoe?'
Rini asks Hotaru, "Say, Hotaru, do you think... I could see you again? ... Or, maybe I shouldn't..."
Hotaru smiles and answers, "Of course! I would like that a lot. I would like to see you again as well, Shadow."
Shadow smiles.
Hotaru continues, "I was really happy when you both came over today."
Rini confirms, "Are you sure?"
Hotaru nods.
Rini sighs in relief, "What a relief."
Hotaru and Rini laugh a little.
Amara continues to give off a glare at Hotaru through the back seat mirror. Is Amara interested at her for some reason?
Meanwhile, Mimet ends up meeting Yuu Kazama in person, who was reading a book.
Mimet speaks, "Mr. Kazama?"
"Huh?", He says as he looks at her.
"You're the actor from the TV show, Hello Friends, aren't you?"
"Oh, yes."
She approaches him with excitement and he becomes a bit nervous. "I knew it was you! Wow, I can't believe it! Wait until the girls hear about this!"
"Hehehe... uhh..."
She approaches him face to face, "Actually, I would like to ask you something."
Yuu sweatdrops, "And that would be?"
"There is a girl over there who is absolutely crazy about you. Would you come to say hi to her, please?"
"Well, I... uhh..."
Mimet grabs him with stars in her eyes and takes him to her, "Come on, give her your autograph!"
"Hey, what are you doing?"
A strange breeze blows in the wind, giving Amara a signal that trouble is about to brew.
She stops the car suddenly.
Amara thought, 'The wind just changed direction...'
Rini notices, "Huh?"
Shadow asks, "Hey, Amara, why did we stop here? This isn't our destination!"
Amara answers, "Umm... I'm sorry... just dying of thirst. I'll be right back, okay guys?"
She gets out of the car and starts running.
Shadow thought, 'She's dying of thirst? Hmm... there's something not right here...'
He suddenly senses something out in the distance.
Shadow uses telepathy to Rini, 'Rini, did you sense that?'
"Huh?" Rini wonders what he was talking about. In a few seconds, she also sensed what Shadow senses. "Uhh, Hotaru, can you wait for a minute?"
Shadow adds, "I'll go with her!"
Both Rini and Shadow left the car, leaving a rather confused Hotaru waiting for them.
"I wonder what's going on? Hmm..." Hotaru ponders.
Mimet takes Yuu onto a quiet part of the park. "Excuse me, lady, but you are really starting to annoy me!" They stop when they got there. "Where is your friend, anyway?"
Mimet says, "She's in here."
Yuu becomes rather suspicious when she shows him the suitcase. "Is this some kind of joke?"
"It's your own fault... You shouldn't have gone off with another woman."
He sweatdrops, "Wha?"
"You cheat!"
She reveals her actual clothing and opens the Daimon Suitcase.
Mimet says, "Get out right now!"
The Heart Snatcher is Utomodachi. She resembles a doll with large swirling circles on her cheeks, and wears clothing like the kindergarteners in Japan.
Utomodachi appears, "Hello there, handsome!"
"No, a monster!" Yuu replies as he runs away.
"I hate being called a monster, my gorgeous man! Ohh!"
She jumps to stop Yuu.
"Wha?"
She grabs him, "But, can't we just be... friends, Mr. handsome?"
"No please... stop her!"
"Ata boy! Now all you have to do is give me your pure heart."
She goes in for the sucking, but Uranus stops her by using Aura Sphere!
Utomodachi dodges the attack, but Yuu fell to the ground, rendering him unconscious.
Utomodachi asks, "Who's there?"
Uranus walks up from the shadows, "There's a way to win a man's heart... and it's not by force." She waves her finger at them.
Mimet replies, "Blasted Sailor Scouts!"
Rini and Shadow are hiding nearby in a bush.
Rini says to Shadow, "We need to call for help."
Shadow nods, "I'm on it!"
Using the power of Luna P technology, she calls in the six Inner scouts for help.
Rini announces, "Attention, Sailor Scouts, the enemy's here again in the park."
The Sailor Scouts heard the message, "Gotcha, Rini!"
Shadow calls, "Chaos Telepathy!"
Using the enhanced power from his Chaos abilities, he does a long distance telepathy to talk to Thomas from a distance. Thomas is currently at Lita's home, taking care of Sylvester.
Shadow says, 'Brother, can you hear me?"
'Huh? Shadow?'
'The enemy's in the park, brother. The Sailor Scouts are on their way. We need you over here, as well.'
'I'm on my way!'
Shadow nods at Rini, and she nods back.
Rini calls, "It's time to transform, now! Moon Prism Power!"
With the power of love energy, she transforms in Sailor Mini-Moon.
Mimet calls, "Utomodachi, hurry up and makes friends with her, too!"
Utomodachi says, "We're all decent folks here. Can't we all be friends?"
Uranus smirks, and then turns around to see two people that have arrived.
Mini-Moon declares, "With friends like you, who needs enemies! I stand for love, justice, truth, and friendship that is genuine! I'm Sailor Mini-Moon!"
Shadow also declares, "Chaos will be conquered! I'm Shadow, Shadow the Hedgehog!"
Mini-Moon poses, "And in the name of the future moon, we shall punish you! So, look out!"
Uranus smirks, "Well, well, if isn't the little peanut who shows up!"
She sweatdrops, "Peanut?"
Utomodachi says, "How about you two become friends with me as well? Wee, wee, weeeeeeee!"
Utomodachi starts by... jump roping? She seems to accelerate quickly while rope jumping very quickly.
Shadow takes Rini to dodge the attack. Rini sighs in relief.
Uranus smirks again, "You know, you seem a little too short for this fight, squirt!"
Rini sweatdrops, "Squirt? Aren't you losing this fight? Besides, I'm just as strong as you are!"
Shadow sighs, 'This is no time for joking around, Uranus...'
Meanwhile, it seems Hotaru is having another burst of pain from her body.
Hotaru says, "Ohh... not again..."
Utomodachi says, "Come on, little girl, why don't you play with me?"
Rini replies, "As if!"
"Ohhhh!"
"Hold it right there!" Sailor Moon declares. They all look up and see the Sailor Scouts and Ethan in a tree. "Why hunt for pure hearts when it's a personality you really need?"
They all jump down to help them out.
The Sailor Scouts declare, "We are the Sailor Scouts, champions of justice!"
Ethan smirks, "And I'm Ethan, a Saiyan you don't want to mess with!"
Heart finishes, "So watch out, you evil do-ers, because we're gonna punish you in the name of the Moon!"
Mimet frowns, "No, not another ruined planned! Utomodachi, take them all down!"
Mimet jumps to escape the fight.
Utomodachi whines, "But, I don't like them..." She starts to sob. "You're all mean to me, so... I don't want to be friends with you anymore, you got that?"
Everyone awaits for what she decides to do.
Utomodachi does her jump rope attack, "Auugggggh! Nobody loves me!" Everyone dodges the attack. "Everybody hates me!"
Instead of turning around, she continues going straight... out of frustration and sadness...
Ethan sweatdrops, "O...kay? I didn't see that coming."
Heart also sweatdrops, "She has a lot of personality, doesn't she? I kind of feel bad for her... in a weird way."
Everybody else sweatdrops, too. Moon replies, "That was weird..."
Realizing where she's heading towards, Uranus makes a move to go after her.
Mini-Moon and Shadow also realizes this, and follows her. Shadow says, "Oh, no, Hotaru's in trouble!"
Moon blinks, "Hotaru?"
Utomodachi shouts, "Get out of my way!"
Still feeling pain in her body, Hotaru steps out of the car. Unaware that she's in the heart snatcher's path.
Utomodachi shouts again, "I... said... GET OUT OF MY WAY!"
Suddenly, a rather twisted thing happens. Hotaru gives out a strange aura and uses the power of force to attack Utomodachi!
Utomodachi says, "Ohhhh! Can't move..."
Uranus appears... "Huh? What's this?" and got a glimpse of what Hotaru just did to Utomodachi, who can't move at all.
After a few seconds, Hotaru ceases her attack and faints.
Everyone else appears as well. Seeing the opportunity is at hand, Venus calls, "Sailor Moon!"
Sailor Moon transforms, "Moon Crisis Power!"
She transforms into Super Sailor Moon, and begins her attack immediately afterwards!
"Rainbow Moon Heart Ache!"
Quick spirals of hearts appear to attack Utomodachi.
Utomodachi's day just got worse, "Ohhh... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..."
She disappears and changes back into a Television Script that has the name 'Jump Out Friends' in it. The egg appears from the script, cracks, and releases the evil spirit.
After a few minutes, Mini-Moon changes back into Rini and starts shaking Hotaru to wake her by. Shadow is right next to them and everybody else, still in their Sailor forms, watches.
Rini shakes, "Hotaru, Hotaru! Please wake up! Hotaru..."
Hotaru wakes up, "Rini... Shadow..."
Shadow says, "Hotaru..."
Rini smiles, "Are you alright, Hotaru?"
"Uh huh... I don't think... you should see me anymore. Otherwise, I'm afraid I might hurt you somehow."
Shadow says, "Hotaru?"
Rini asks, "Why would we do that?"
Hotaru sobs, "Rini, Shadow... I'm sorry..." She starts to run away.
Shadow shouts, "Hotaru, wait!"
Hotaru stops for a second, and turns around to see Shadow. Then, she continues running off.
Shadow curses in thought, 'Darn...'
Heart frowns, "Poor Rini... poor Shadow... Ohhh..."
Uranus speaks, "Sailor Moon, Sailor Heart, Ethan..."
Moon says, "Huh?"
Ethan says, "Hmm?"
Heart asks, "What is it?"
Uranus says, "It might be for the best... if Rini and Shadow didn't see Hotaru again."
Uranus changes back into Amara.
Moon blinks, "What?"
Heart asks, "I wonder why she would say that. Hotaru seems like a very nice girl. Rini and Shadow adore her so much..."
Ethan ponders, "Maybe it has something to do with those Heart Snatchers."
Uranus drives away in her car.
Ethan thought, 'Did Uranus see something we didn't? Is that it? Also, what happened to the Heart Snatcher before Super Moon finished her? Hmm...'
They all walk up to them.
Rini frowns, "Hotaru..."
Heart asks, "Are you alright, Rini?"
"Ohh..."
Heart smiles, "Don't worry, I have faith that you and Hotaru will become best friends in no time, flat!"
Rini smiles, "Really?"
"Yeah!"
Ethan smiles, "I know you can, too, Shadow. You care for her, don't you?"
Shadow nods, "Yeah."
Moon assures, "No need to worry. We all know Hotaru is a good person. You three have a genuine friendship going on. So, let me take care of this and talk to her father, kay?"
Rini and Shadow nod. Rini says, "Thanks, Serena. Thanks everyone!"
As everyone else was chatting, Heart notices that Ethan is on his mind about something.
Heart asks, "Something wrong, my love?"
Ethan answers, "Not particularly. I'm just... pondering a few things here and there."
"You think something's up with Hotaru?"
"I can't say... But, I hope... everything works out in the end."
"Yeah..."
They look up at the moon together and see the beautiful stars shining in the distance.
Ethan: Done! Could something really be up with Hotaru?
PDA: I certainly hope not...
ThoughtfulTikal: Me neither. I really like her.
