Two Months Ago

"This is some pretty crazy weather."

"Yeah, it hasn't been like this for almost a whole year huh?"

Rise hadn't planned on staying much longer anyway, too much to do back as Risette, but as she walked around town under her cute umbrella, she realized something wasn't right. Everyone in town was talking about the bizarre weather and they were right. It had been storming for a full 24 hours at least. Having realized this, she'd decided to head over to Sho's house to see if he knew anything.

Upon reaching his doorway, Rise had found it still partially open. Everything looked almost exactly as it had a few days prior. As she walked through the house hoping to find someone, she notices two unfinished bowls of food and finds that unusual. Sho had a pretty hefty appetite; he had even put up a pretty good fight against Chie. If she remembered right, it had been declared a tie. This was the first sign that something wasn't right. The utter silence was the second sign. What finally made Rise realize that things just weren't right, however, was the pair of black and yellow sneakers by the door. She hadn't noticed them at first as she hadn't been looking at the ground.

Instantly, she had reached for her phone and began calling everyone she could. They all agreed that the weather was suspicious and realize that none of them have seen Marie since it had started. This makes the investigation team go on a city wide hunt despite the horrible weather. When they all meat up at Junes later, not a one of them had been able to find her. It had been Yosuke's idea to call Naoto to see if she would have some sort of explanation. Naoto, however, hadn't heard anything about Marie's disappearance or the strange weather Inaba had been experiencing for the past 24 hours. She, therefore, took it upon herself to call Mitsuru.

Before the day was done, everyone in both the investigation team – besides Yu, as none of them wanted to bother him with something that may be no big deal - as well as those in the Shadow Operatives was informed of Marie's disappearance. Everyone in Inaba made a full effort to find Marie. Teddie had even tried sniffing around; however he hadn't smelled anything out of the norm anywhere. The Shadow Operatives pulled any strings they had, attempting to find information that could be useful.

By the next day, Inaba's weather took a sudden shift and the thunderstorm gave way for harsh, dry wind and blistering heat. At this, everyone knew something wasn't right. Receiving word of this, Mitsuru had decided it best to contact her mole with the secret police and see if they knew anything. At first, he knew nothing. But a handful of hours later, he had called with some dreadful news.

Mitsuru later relayed all of this information to those residing in Inaba. She explained that the special police force had found Sho and kidnapped him. The time they abducted him seemed to coincide with the time the bizarre weather had begun. It had to be assumed then that Sho's abduction was the reason Marie had caused the unusual shifts in weather, however no one could figure out where she would have gone after that.

By the third day, Mitsuru had decided it best to contact Yu. She took the task upon herself as many of the others were busy scouring Inaba for the missing goddess. While she was no closer to finding Sho, Mitsuru felt it was important for the Investigation Team to have their leader. There had been many times she had wished to have her own leader to turn to as she had a few years prior. Therefore she knew the teens would love to have their trusted leader to rely on.

The town was becoming a rather unusual place by the third day. As the day ticked on, it became apparent the weather would not be making up its mind. No one could seem to find Marie and Mitsuru was making little leeway in figuring out where they could have taken Sho. By the time Yu returns to Inaba, he is met with a barrage of tired, confused and worried faces.
