The door to the fish cannery swung open as Shendu stormed in, absolutely livid. The Enforcers hesitantly followed in after him; they'd all ditched the spacesuits at the crash site, and hurried back to base to plot out their next move.

"A-At least we freed all your sibs, right, Shendude?" MC Cobra nervously asked.

Shendu hissed at him.

"We may have freed each one, but five were sent back to the void! If we possessed the Panku Box, we could restore one more to his or her freedom once again, but you imbeciles ruined that!"

"Not our fault!" Ice objected. "Things got all crazy with dat Moon Demon and Chan showin' up…"

"Excuses! I desire only to regain possession of the Box, and to seek my Portal posthaste!" Shendu growled. "We are on our own… We shall have to strike at Section Thirteen to accomplish this task…"

Ice, DJ Fist, and MC Cobra didn't seem too pleased about that; Hak Foo remained stoic about it. But before Shendu's minions could voice against such an action, two additional voices in the room beat them to it.

"Oh, we assure you…" A soft female voice purred.

"You are far from alone." A dark, foreboding voice completed the statement.

Shendu and the Dark Hand snapped to the sources of the voices, and saw Tso Lan and Bai Tsa standing there. Well, Bai Tsa was; Tso Lan was floating.

"B-Brother and Sister!" Shendu exclaimed, taken aback that they had beaten him there. Well, Bai Tsa had stayed behind. So, surprised mostly by Tso Lan, but then, let it be said that his eldest sibling was resourceful.

"So Jackie Chan did more than get in my way…" Tso Lan mused. "Out of all of us, you are the one that has failed the most; it must be a familiar feeling to lose again, Shendu…"

Shendu bristled at the insult to his honor, but it was surprisingly Ice that came to his defense.

"Not Shendude's fault, dawg! Chan's been gettin' in our way!"

"True," Tso Lan conceded. "But Shendu has also lost to an Immortal, and was overthrown by his own Chinese Empire."

Shendu ground his teeth as Tso Lan reminded him of his failures; he wouldn't be informing his Brother of the other failures anytime soon… Those plots while he was a statue and working with other humans through the centuries did not count, as far as Shendu was concerned.

"Do you have a point to this, Brother Tso…?" Shendu groused.

"Merely reminding you remain levelheaded, Shendu. You did indeed free us, but Jackie Chan will be coming for us very soon. It is time for us to end this game of cat and mouse, and make this world ours once and for all."

"You always have such a way with words, Brother Tso." Bai Tsa said in a mocking tone. "But how do you propose we 'end' things?"

"Look around you, Bai Tsa. Three Demon Sorcerers are now joined for a common cause. If we cannot develop a strategy to annihilate the Slayer of Demons, then do we truly deserve our moniker of 'Demon Sorcerers'?"

Now Bai Tsa was scowling like Shendu. Shendu crossed Valmont's arms as he made his proposal.

"I suggest a surgical strike on Section Thirteen! They cannot possibly challenge three Demon Sorcerers at once!"

Bai Tsa gave her Brother of Fire a deadpan stare.

"Because three is so much better than two…" She dryly remarked, recalling battling Chan alongside Xiao Fung. Shendu frowned at his Sister immediately shooting his proposed plan down.

"And I'm sure your plan would be to make them come to us…"

"A much more cautious strategy than yours, Shendu. If we go to them, they shall have the advantage. But should they come to us, we may prepare a trap for them. However, they will doubtlessly come prepared as well, so that plan is not foolproof either."

"Then what do you suggest?!" Bai Tsa and Shendu exploded at him.

"Divide and conquer." Tso Lan replied simply, making his siblings calm down considerably. "One of us will draw their attention by causing a great disturbance. Then, the other two will assault their base of operations, and take it over before they return. Once they return, those two will overwhelm them and finally be rid of them for good."

"That means a high probability that that one will be sent back to the void… Unless Shendu…?" Bai Tsa trailed off.

"No. The disturbance we shall need will be on a much more massive scale than Shendu can create in the state he is in. Shendu is a Demon Sorcerer trapped in a pitiful human body; we need a most riveting performance to convince them that this is not a ploy to draw them away." Tso Lan denied his Sister.

"I shall not risk returning to limbo for one of your plots, Tso Lan!" Bai Tsa snarled. "If you feel so strongly about it, you 'distract' that infuriating man!"

"They are not aware that I have approached the two of you," Tso Lan pointed out. "While it may seem sensible for me to draw their attention away, it will have been too soon since our last encounter for me to resurface again. They will know something is amiss. You are the logical choice, Bai Tsa."

"What am I to do?! Assault their coasts with hurricanes?! I had the advantage in Antarctica, and they still drove me away!" Bai Tsa argued fiercely.

"That is actually not a bad idea…" Shendu gave his input. "A hurricane will be enough to grab their attention, and powerful enough to use as weapons against this city. Chan will feel compelled to protect it from your forces of nature."

Bai Tsa narrowed her eyes at Shendu as he made that comment.

"You may flee whenever you feel threatened, but we will need some time to gain control of their base of operations. Do what you must, but give them a fight to remember." Tso Lan instructed.

Bai Tsa sighed in aggravation but decided to comply all the same. Hurricanes were more powerful than tornadoes, and Chan struggled against those when he fought against Brother Xiao.

"Allow me time to prepare the necessary Spell… and be in position for when they abandon their headquarters." Bai Tsa flatly stated, and then slithered off to work her 'Magic'.

Shendu turned to Tso Lan after she had left.

"Are you sure this will work, Brother Tso? You are making Sister Bai take an enormous risk…"

"Everything shall go according to plan." Tso Lan replied ominously as he floated toward the door to the fish cannery. "I will make sure of it…"

With that being said, Shendu and the Dark Hand trailed behind Tso Lan as they exited the cannery. Then they were off to Section Thirteen…

- A couple days later, at Section Thirteen… -

"Still haven't found them?" Jackie sighed as Captain Black shook his head in the negative.

"A garbage capsule was found some miles from San Francisco – about ten miles out – but the spacesuits were close by. And they landed in a secluded area, so we can't rely on traditional tracking methods like satellites and traffic cameras. And since it rained very recently in that area, that narrows our options even more. Sorry, my friend."

"No, no, I'm sure you're doing everything you can." Jackie assured him. "Uncle is just happy to have the Panku Box back with us."

"Got that thing locked up with the Talismans. Why's he so happy about that, anyway? The Dark Hand unlocked all those Demon Portals, and we returned most of those Demons."

"Well, yes." Jackie admitted. "But after finding that Spell book yesterday, Uncle found out about an Eighth Door – Shendu's Door. He is convinced that there is significance in that, but I don't see how any other Demon could use that Door."

"You guys are always telling me to keep an open mind." Captain Black chuckled. "Who knows how any of this stuff works? … Besides Uncle. And maybe Tohru."

"I suppose better safe than sorry," Jackie conceded. He turned to leave, and waved as he began to walk away. "Keep us posted!"

Jackie made his way elsewhere in the base to find Uncle, who was working on a Locator Spell to search for the Dark Hand before they became anymore trouble. … But if the smoke billowing out of their private room was any indication, Uncle was hard-pressed in developing that. Then again, Uncle was having Tohru make it this time…

"Uncle told you! Less garlic! Garlic is potent ingredient, and must be precisely measured! Hot-cha!"

"Apologies, Sensei…"

Jackie fanned away the smoke as he entered the room; his other hand was pinching his nose to avoid inhaling too much of the scent of garlic.

"No progress, Uncle?" Jackie asked for clarification.

Uncle shook his head and crossed his arms as he sniffed derisively.

"No! Tohru is still terrible apprentice! Uncle must do everything!" He sounded aggravated, and Tohru looked sorry. Jackie shot Tohru a sympathetic glance.

"I'm sure you'll improve, Tohru! Are the Chi Spells ready, at least?"

Uncle snorted.

"It is one thing that Apprentice has done right! Chi Spells for Water Demon and Moon Demon are ready!"

Jackie looked over at the gourd and lotus pod that were lying on a table near the doorway. They did look charged and ready to go.

"Well, that's something at least." Jackie muttered.

Agents ran into the room to clear out the smoke just then, and put out any fires that may have been started. Jade ran into the room soon after, followed by Finn, Ratso, and Chow.

"Came as soon as we heard the alarms!" Jade exclaimed, looking wildly about for any action, but finding none, she visibly deflated. "… Oh. Another screw-up with that Locator Spell. Don't worry, T! You'll get it down, eventually!"

Jade perked up slightly as she cheered for her big brother-like figure at the end of her remarks. Jackie looked to the Aides, as this wasn't the first time they'd come running when trouble seemingly arose.

"You can probably rest easy for a while," Jackie mused. "I doubt any of the Demon Sorcerers will act up so soon after Tso Lan's defeat. And besides, you'll run yourself ragged if you come running every time the smoke alarm goes off."

"… Yeah," Finn concurred. "But the second we let down our guard, there's gonna be action for real, and then we'll be late."

"Besides, it's good to stay in shape!" Chow added.

"Yeah… We got two Demon Sorcerers to defeat still… Might as well stay vigilant 'til the end." Ratso added his two cents.

"Three Demon Sorcerers!" Uncle corrected. "We must also seal Shendu!"

"Oh yeah…" Finn groaned along with Ratso and Chow.

Jackie rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"Why don't you take Jade out for ice-cream? That should take your mind off things for a while."

"But what if something comes up?!" Jade objected. Jackie only shook his head in response.

"We'll call if something comes up. Though I would like you as far away as possible, Jade, if something does happen…"

Jade scowled and crossed her arms.

"Hmph."

Finn placed a hand on her head and ruffled her hair playfully.

"You got it, Mr. Chan! We'll take a break for a few hours."

Jackie gave Finn some money, and the four of them left. He then ran a hand through his hair and sighed tiredly.

"Now if only things would stay quiet for a while… Somehow, I doubt they will."

"Feh! Uncle would like to end Demon Sorcerers now!" Uncle went back to supervising Tohru try to perform the Locator Spell again.

Jackie agreed with Uncle, but at the same time, he was tired, and just wanted to take a peaceful nap. Maybe read a book, or be on the lookout for new sites to help excavate around the world. Anything was better than life-threatening situations involving Demon Sorcerers…

- Off the coast of San Francisco, in the murky deep… -

Bai Tsa made the last brush stroke on the seafloor; the ink she used would not dissipate in water, and could not be rubbed off once the seal was complete. The ornately drawn seal flashed a sky blue, and Bai Tsa uttered an incantation to complete her handiwork. And once she had uttered it, the seal stayed lit, but did nothing else to the water at her level. Bai Tsa swiftly swam to the surface and watched with anticipated glee as the dark storm clouds rolled in. They were blacker than what humans had been used to for some time, and the thunder would be louder and the lightning more life-threatening.

"Brother Zu would enjoy this…" Bai Tsa mused as the thunder started to crack in the heavens, and rain began to fall. Bai Tsa casually swam on her back away from where the hurricanes would begin to form; it would take a little while to manipulate the water to do her bidding, but now that the process was started, it couldn't be undone unless she, the caster, was sent back to Netherworld. Something that she did not intend to happen.

Truth be told, this plot did pique her interests. A hurricane could travel as fast as a human vehicle these days, and they were much more massive. And destructive. Oh, the carnage to come. Humans had to take shelter from these natural disasters; they could not be stopped. If Chan dared to try and interfere, he would perish!

Bai Tsa cackled as that pleasant image came to mind. Yes, she liked this plan.

"Come and get me, foolish humans…" Bai Tsa hissed and sped up ever so slightly as the hurricanes began to take shape. She would wait on the shore for Chan to appear, as this would capture his attention soon enough. Bai Tsa would be seen, yet that was the whole point; make Chan come out to her. He wouldn't come if he thought the coming hurricanes were actual natural disasters, and not creation of hers.

- Ten minutes later, at Section Thirteen… -

"Jackie! We've got word of Demon activity!" Captain Black called out over the intercom.

Jackie noticed the alarms going off as he went to go meet with Captain Black. Agents were scrambling around as if this next attack was a big one… And based off of what was on the monitors as he entered the main surveillance room, Jackie could see why the tension was so high..

"What on Earth…? Please tell me those aren't real…" Jackie pleaded as he reached Captain Black. Hurricanes were heading to the coastline.

Three of them.

"Afraid not, my friend," Black sighed as he had an agent zoom in on Bai Tsa chasing off beachgoers. "Don't know what she's got planned this time, but I'm thinking that it doesn't take much thought. If she can control hurricanes, I wouldn't be surprised if she tried wiping San Fran off the map just to get to us."

"But that… That's insane!" Jackie couldn't believe it.

"What is with all this noooiiisssseee?" Uncle whined as he entered the main surveillance room. He gasped as he saw a close-up of Bai Tsa on one of the screens. He hurried back the way he came. "Tohru! Bring Chi Spell for Water Demon! Hurry!"

Captain Black turned to Jackie after watching the monitors for several moments.

"Need me to call Finn, Ratso, and Chow?" Jackie shook his head in response.

"No… Jade must be kept safe. Can you send someone to take them out of the city, just to be safe?"

Black grunted.

"She and the Aides can tag along with other evacuees. This is a citywide threat, so we can't just evacuate one or two people. We need to get everybody out pronto. Think you and Unc can handle the Water Demon on your own?"

"Hopefully…" Jackie replied with a grimace. "This was much worse than what we were expecting…"

"No time to complain about that; get moving! We'll do our job here. We can at least get you a ride out there."

Jackie ran off to fetch Uncle and Tohru, and Black sent an agent to give them a ride when Uncle was ready to go. He faced the monitors again with a fierce determination.

"I'm the sheriff around these parts, lady… You're not threatening my city under my watch."

As Jackie, Uncle, and Tohru sped off in a van to go deal with Bai Tsa, they were observed by Tso Lan and the Dark Hand from a nearby alleyway.

"Why don't ya try 'n blend in, dawg? Like your sibs?" Ice asked Tso Lan, seeing that he hadn't taken human form as they lied in wait.

"There is no need…" Tso Lan said as he waited at least fifteen minutes before making his move on the 'secret headquarters' of Section Thirteen. Just in case Chan had to come back for whatever reason.

"So what is the plan, wisest of Brothers?" Shendu inquired. "Shall we proceed cautiously?"

In response, Tso Lan lifted a billboard with his powers, and smashed it into the side of the building that housed Section Thirteen. It wasn't enough to make a hole on the first hit, but various, large-sized objects later, and there was a gaping hole there.

"Subtlety is not required now… They are on high alert." Tso Lan pointed out, and floated toward the building as alarms sounded. The Enforcers looked to Shendu, somewhat scared that Shendu's Brother would take such a bold approach.

"Let's get this over with…" Shendu sighed and went after Tso Lan. The Ice Crew and Hak Foo were right behind him…

- At the coast… -

Shrieks and cries for help rent the air as Bai Tsa intimidated the beachgoers. Most managed to flee, but there were those unlucky few that weren't fast enough. Bai Tsa took immense satisfaction in dousing them with water, and literally making waves as she demonstrated her mastery over the seas.

The hurricanes would take some time in reach San Fran, but Bai Tsa was patient if nothing else. If Chan showed up early, as she knew he would, Bai Tsa would escape to the ocean – maybe even take solitude in one of the hurricanes. They would be big enough to house her and reasonably protect her from Chan; of that she was certain. Yet Chan dying by a hurricane was far too simple and easy; she wanted to rip the skin off his bones with her bare hands. She would be the avenger of her brethren.

As the van pulled up to the beach, Bai Tsa was well aware that Chan had arrived. So she sent a huge spray of water towards it, forcing the van to move backflip and tumble away. But just as it began to do that, Chan leaped out the window, dragging the driver with him by the back of his coat. Tohru broke out of the back end and carried Uncle in his arms. The van exploded as it crashed into a palm tree, making the tree fall over.

Jackie eyed Bai Tsa warily as the rain fell in torrents around them. Bai Tsa sneered, and held her hands up in the air. Numerous raindrops were manipulated into coming together to form a sphere that easily dwarfed Tohru, and that was saying something. And then… she threw it. The ball accelerated once it left her hands, and Jackie could not get out of the way in time as it bowled him over. Though it was just water, the attack hurt. If one were to hit water at high enough speed, it could feel like crashing into a brick or concrete wall, and that's what happened with Jackie as he collapsed on to the ground. The orb continued on, toppling over a palm tree.

Bai Tsa had learned her lesson from battling Chan so often, however. It wasn't him specifically that threatened her freedom; it was the Chi Wizard and his assistant. So Bai Tsa willed the rain specifically around Uncle to form an elongated arm and hand, and snatched the gourd away before Uncle could even begin to contemplate getting closer and chant the incantation.

"You will all end here…" Bai Tsa cackled and made a grandiose gesture as she spread out her arms. The rain between her and them turned into fists that were slightly larger than human hands, and surged forward to barrage Uncle and Tohru. But because of his size, Tohru could protect Uncle from the incoming attack, so he did. He put Uncle behind him and shielded him from the seemingly endless fists that beat into his chest.

Jackie struggled to his feet, but Bai Tsa willed the water under his feet and behind him to form a wave that swept him closer to her faster than he could make it to her in his discombobulated state.

"Wah!" Jackie screamed as he realized he was soaring toward Bai Tsa now, and her claws were set to tear him to shreds. But at the last moment, he was able to whip around in a circle and kick her harshly, forcing her to liquefy. Jackie skidded to a halt as her watery-self moved away from him. He saw the gourd free-falling a distance from where they were fighting, and proceeded to go chasing after it.

Bai Tsa recovered as she reformed, and she glared daggers at her prey. She shot tiny bubbles from her fingertips, and they sped toward Chan at amazing rates. Jackie managed to avoid a majority of them by performing a backflip, but the movements were so random that he couldn't dodge them all, and they especially hurt when they popped on his skin. He scooped up the gourd soon after that, and made a dash for Tohru and Uncle, who weren't in the line of fire at the moment.

"Uncle! The Spell!" Jackie cried helplessly. But soon the rain falling down on him intensified so much that he was forced down onto the ground because of the sheer weight. He unwillingly released the gourd as he crashed onto the ground, and it rolled over to Tohru. Yet before the sumo could pick it up, another small wave swept it away.

"This is too easy!" Bai Tsa uproariously laughed. She was truly in her Element. And as long as she kept the gourd away from them, she could play with them for as long as her cruel heart desired.

"Oh, Fish-Woman!"

Bai Tsa snapped her head in the direction of Uncle's taunting voice, and she was zapped in the face by the lizard in Uncle's hands. She liquefied again, and Tohru moved to grab the gourd before Bai Tsa made another move.

"Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao! Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao!" Tohru chanted as he aimed the gourd at the puddle of water that was now Bai Tsa, but he was shocked at the rate it moved when he did so. It moved quickly enough to dodge the blasts, and shoot over to him, splash up to smack him in the face, and form a hand to snatch the gourd out of his hands.

"I will not be defeated by the likes of you!" Bai Tsa snarled and slithered away while gripping the gourd as Uncle fired at her with the lizard in his hand. Needless to say, she dodged all the blasts.

Jackie ran after her. They could not allow her to escape back to the ocean, where she could wait it out until the hurricanes arrived. But she was faster than Jackie, and he was beginning to lose hope as she gained more and more distance. A stray energy blast from Uncle managed to sever the arm holding the gourd, and it harmlessly bounced away from the Water Demon. Jackie picked up the pace as much as he could; he tripped, but he rolled on the ground until he hugged the gourd to his chest. As Bai Tsa moved in to steal the gourd back from him, Tohru picked up the chanting again, and she backed off as the gourd started shooting light beams at her again. She turned herself into pure water again, and slithered off toward the ocean before she could be taken down.

Jackie gave pursuit once again, but to no avail. She made it to the ocean way before he did, and blasting the seawater did no good, meaning she probably turned back into a mermaid the second she was back in the water. Jackie stood on the beach, near the very edge of the ocean, and he was soon by Uncle and Tohru.

"Bad day…" Jackie muttered as he cautiously kept an eye out for the Water Demoness. Tendrils of water shot out and latched onto his arms and legs, forcing Jackie to drop the gourd… again. "BADDAYBADDAYBADDAYYY!"

Jackie was yanked out to sea, and flung around like a ragdoll. Uncle picked the gourd back up as he shot at the tendrils of water whipping Jackie around, but more tendrils appeared to shield those ones.

"This is not going well…" Tohru sighed morosely.

- At Section Thirteen… -

Chaos was the word of the day at Section Thirteen. First, they had that sudden hurricane warning; then, they appeared. At first it was just the Dark Hand, but then some strange floating man entered and wrecked the place. Then the ninjas appeared – or what Section Thirteen personnel that hadn't seen Shadowkhan before thought were ninja. Most agents were out evacuating the city, but there were some left at the base to manage the communication center, and those were the ones being thrown into cells by Shadowkhan, under the supervision of Shendu.

Captain Black was the only one brave enough to try and assault Tso Lan, but the bald man was no match for a Demon that had mastery over gravity. The Moon Demon effortlessly stopped him with a simple wave of the hand; Captain Black had abruptly stopped mid-leap, and was floating in the air now in front of Tso Lan.

"Why in the world are you attacking us?!" Captain Black demanded to know of the stoic Demon. "Jackie's not even here!"

"And that is the point, you brave, foolish human." Tso Lan mused. "A fundamental strategy of combat is to crush the mind of the opposing army. And your 'Section Thirteen' matches that description quite perfectly. We shall not kill you yet, but rest assured, when Jackie Chan returns, you will all meet your appropriate end."

Captain Black growled, and tried and failed to land even a punch on the Moon Demon. With a flick of his wrist, Tso Lan moved Captain Black into the awaiting arms of four Shadowkhan, and they moved to put him in a cell with the rest of his men that were present at the base. MC Cobra shook his head as he watched Captain Black being taken away.

"Why didn't we think of something like this, dawg?"

"Because you humans and Shendu share the same simplistic mindset – you are so fixed on ending one man that you hardly change your strategy every time you do battle with him. Instead of failing and repeating, you should have changed tactics." Tso Lan said all of this flatly, and the Enforcers appeared sheepish as this was pointed out. It was true that the same formula was more or less employed each time they battled Chan– try and beat him, and hope the Chi Wizard didn't screw everything up.

Captain Black waited for Shendu and the Shadowkhan to depart before pulling out his cellphone and calling the Aides as quietly as possible…

- With the Aides and Jade… -

Finn, Ratso, Chow, and Jade had spotted the first sign of a storm while Jackie, Uncle, and Tohru were off to battle Bai Tsa, and while Section Thirteen agents were in the process of evacuating the city. They'd taken shelter in a diner, and didn't think to check the news for a weather forecast. If they had, they would have realized something was up sooner, yet they didn't check, so they didn't know.

That is, until Captain Black called.

"Finn! We need you back here now!" Black whispered urgently into the phone.

"What's the sitch, CB?" Finn asked casually, not understanding why Captain Black was speaking in a hushed tone.

"The Dark Hand and the Moon Demon are here right now, and they're taking over the base!" Black added, "And Jackie can't help, because he's battling the Water Demon at the coast right now! She's bringing hurricanes down on San Francisco!"

That didn't sound good. Finn stood up, and his serious expression did not go unnoticed by Ratso, Chow, and Jade.

"We'll be right there!" Finn immediately hung up.

"What's the matter?" Chow asked, concerned.

Finn grimaced and motioned for them to follow him.

"Lots went down in our absence… Put simply, Mr. Chan's doin' the tango with the Water Demon across town, while Captain Black and Section Thirteen are under attacking by the Moon Demon… I knew we shouldn't have taken the day off!"

"Geez… They're pulling out all the stops on this one, huh?" Jade asked as they ran through the rain back to Section Thirteen.

"Shouldn't one of us keep Jade away from these fights?" Ratso wondered. Finn shook his head.

"Doesn't matter if the friggin' Water Demon succeeds in attacking San Fran with friggin' hurricanes!"

They all paled at the implications of that, and double-timed it back to Section Thirteen…

- At the coast… -

The situation still looked grim for Jackie. Bai Tsa had ceased wildly waving him around, but now he was being pulled down to be drowned. Not a fun experience for the raven-haired archaeologist.

"UNCLE! Hurry with the Chi Spell!" Jackie pleaded as he struggled to keep his head above the surface of the water.

Tohru looked at Uncle, and said, "Cast the Chi Spell if Bai Tsa resurfaces." And then Tohru gave Uncle the gourd, and waded out into the water, making his way over to Jackie as best he could.

As Jackie was submerged in the water, he was soon pulled back out by Tohru, and this garnered a grateful stare from the raven-haired archaeologist. They didn't have time to celebrate, however, as they realized the hurricanes were closing in. Bai Tsa arose from the water on a spinning cyclone of water, and Jackie couldn't feel any more helpless.

Bai Tsa lifted the water beneath Jackie to bring him closer to her, and conjured a wave to send Tohru back to shore. What Bai Tsa didn't account for was Uncle taking that momentary lapse in judgment; she had meant to quickly drag Chan back down with her, but it had taken time to bring Chan to her, and separate him from Tohru. Uncle used those few seconds to blast her with the gourd.

"Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao! Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao!"

A green energy beam shot out, and finally managed to make contact with Bai Tsa. She shrieked as the light surrounded and enveloped her, and she lost her control over the water, as indicated by it all crashing down below her. The hurricanes didn't disappear immediately, but they did cease their forward motion. Jackie flailed about in the air, now that water was no longer holding him up, but the worst part was his close proximity to Bai Tsa when Chi Spell's light enveloped her; the light enveloped him as well, and so when Bai Tsa involuntarily began her journey back to the Netherworld, he was close behind her.

"NOOOOOOOO!" Bai Tsa screamed; so much emotion was in that scream: Unhappiness, resentment, anger… It was all in that single word.

The flight back to Italy was mere minutes for Bai Tsa and Jackie. Jackie attempted to latch onto things, but it was to no avail; the Water Demon's Portal opened once again, and she shrieked as she went straight into it, followed by Chan approximately three seconds later.

Back in San Francisco, the hurricanes finally dissipated, and the storm clouds cleared up, as if they were never there in the first place. Oh, the city was very much drenched from that violent downpour, but the blue sky was very clear, with only a few small clouds to it now. Uncle sank to his knees as Tohru washed ashore, coughing up water.

"Aiyah! No…" Uncle said in what was barely above a whisper. The Spell had worked a little too well, and now Jackie was trapped in the void with six Demon Sorcerers that would gladly torment him for all eternity, if they could…

For a while, the only activity was the calm tide, and the seagulls settling back into their nests. Tohru and Uncle didn't leave the beach for a long time after that…

- Back at Section Thirteen… -

Unaware of the tragedy that just took place, Jade and the Aides took notice of the crazy weather that finally settled down. Rain dripped off of several buildings, and Finn was the first one to realize what that must have meant. He smiled.

"Unc musta beat that Water Demon, finally!" Ratso and Chow nodded in agreement with him.

"Yeah… Now we just gotta do our job here," Chow remarked. "Er… And what is that again?"

"Hey, yeah! The Moon Demon's in there!" Ratso's eyes widened. "We could fight off the Dark Hand, but not Shendu and that Moon Demon…"

"We shouldn't have to!" Jade pointed out. "All we gotta do is get a few things for Unc; like that lotus pod thing, and maybe the Panku Box, unless Shendu already has it again…"

"And how do ya propose we get in and outta there? The place is probably swarming with Shadowkhan!" Finn gesticulated for emphasis.

"If we can get to the Talismans, we're all set!" Jade chirped.

The Aides agreed with this plan. But before they could even set foot inside, a low growl was heard, and the Aides were pounced on by a blue and red blur.

"Tiger slaughters three lambs!" Hak Foo snarled, somehow managing to tackle all three of them in one swoop. Jade winced and chose to run right into the lion's den as fast as she could.

The Ice Crew soon came out to join Hak Foo, and luckily for Jade, she was fast and stealthy enough to go unnoticed.

"Hehe! We knew you wannabes would be hear sooner or later!" Ice sneered as he, MC Cobra and DJ Fist advanced on the Aides that were pinned down. Shadowkhan emerged from shadows nearby, and Finn, Ratso, and Chow knew they had basically no chance of resisting.

"Well, this didn't go as planned…." Chow muttered.

"Yeah, but at least Jade made it inside… Ow!" Ratso massaged his side after Finn elbowed him.

"Dat's right! There's usually a peewee with you guys!" MC Cobra laughed. "So where'd the little runt scamper off to?"

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Finn gave a cheesy grin.

Hak Foo narrowed his eyes and huffed. He got off of the three Aides, and motioned for the Shadowkhan to take them away.

"Shendu would be most interested in that…" He growled.

Finn, Ratso, and Chow gulped simultaneously, and nervously let the Shadowkhan drag them off to prison cells in the 'secret' base. Ice looked around for Jade, but didn't see her. He twitched slightly at that realization.

"Shendude's gonna tan our hides, ain't he?"

"Not if we find her and lock her up first…" Hak Foo scowled and reentered the facility, with the Ice Crew trailing behind him.

Deeper in the base, Jade had snuck to the vault door where the Talismans were kept. It was open at the moment, which made her worry that Shendu might have taken the Talismans and Panku Box already. But as she stole a glance around the open door, she saw Valmont in control of the body, cheerily humming to himself. She saw him place the Panku Box in a brown sack, and saw him beginning to collect Talismans.

"I don't know why we saved your Brother Tso Lan for last, Shendu… He is a genius!" Valmont praised the Moon Demon as he merrily went about his work. Shendu growled within him.

"Do not become complacent, Valmont! Brother Tso is the eldest of us, and therefore an enigma to us Demon Sorcerers! He has been helpful to us thus far, but for all we know, he could turn around and enslave us! Like Brother Zu…"

Valmont shrugged neutrally.

"I think you're possibly overthinking it… He's giving us free reign of Section Thirteen! We can claim all the resources that have been used against us over the years, and more…"

Shendu made an irritated noise, and Valmont continued collecting Talismans. Jade waited two more seconds before making a beeline directly for the Rabbit Talisman and grabbing it. Needless to say, this shocked Valmont.

"Sorry! Gotta borrow these!" Jade 'apologized', and used the Rabbit Talisman's power to run around the display case holding the Talismans, grabbing the rest of the Talismans as she did so, and then snatched the brown bag away from Valmont. She paused to blow a raspberry at him, and then zoomed off as Shendu took back over and breathed a fireball in her direction.

"VALMOOONT! You are an imbecile!"

Shendu summoned hordes of Shadowkhan to pursue Jade. On her way to the room where Tohru and Uncle had been testing that Locator Spell, Jade bumped into Shadowkhan, and even managed to bowl some over on her way there. Once she reached her destination, Jade ran right in, pocketed the lotus pod, and zoomed back out.

On her way out, a lone Shadowkhan snagged onto the brown sack Jade was loosely holding, and she lost her grip on it. She didn't notice this immediately, but when she did, it was too late as that Shadowkhan sunk back into the floor. As she paused to witness that, a group of Shadowkhan circled her, and she huffed at losing the other Talismans and the Panku Box. She wouldn't risk going after those; she would have to leave immediately if she didn't want to be captured like Finn, Ratso, and Chow…

Jade felt bad about leaving them there, but she'd be back with Uncle and Tohru. And then they'd banish the Moon Demon! Having reached that decision, Jade bowled over another Shadowkhan and escaped Section Thirteen. Tso Lan watched much of this by security cameras, but he did not appear too perturbed. It was natural for the opponent to capture an important piece at some point in a game of chess; yet that did not guarantee victory.

The game was only just beginning, after all…

So ends Part Two! Section Thirteen's now captured by Tso Lan and the Dark Hand, Jackie was whisked off to Netherworld with Bai Tsa, and Jade was only able to get away with the Rabbit Talisman and the lotus pod. One last ride for Season Two. Will Jackie be saved…?

… Don't answer that.

D.J. Scales: To err is human, to forgive divine! The book was on-hand, so they never imagined it'd get lost. Uncle is meticulous in organization, but Jade screwed all that up. With one prank. ^^;

Allison Brave: Thanks for the reviews! It's an ongoing, improving process. I would advise against reviewing so many times at once, though; I want to give everybody the chance to see the preview and still voice their opinions on the chapters. I still encourage letting us know what you think of each chapter, but don't just do so to get the prize, if that was your primary motivation. You'll get it this time, if you want it. But if the same thing happens next time, I'll give the preview to someone else, though. I'm happy to have a hundred reviews –there's just no need to spam it. At least you're caught up now. ^^

Alana Fox: It'd be a bit unfair to leave them all to be sealed in the final episode… But now Jackie is in Netherworld, too… Now for the conclusion to this arc.

ultima-owner: Depends, really. Did his feet ever touch the moon? :D
