Author's Note: Hi everybody! So, this chapter's kinda short, since I had a request to update soon, and I think I found a good place to end my chapter, so yeah. Uh, after every chapter, I'll try to put a funny quote, and I'll try to make the next chapter way longer, since you guys definitely deserve longer chapters from me. You're all faithful reviewers. :)
Okay, so, anyways, on with the chapter!
Love Story Chapter 25
Ally
I roll my eyes right back at him, and then Trish comes bursting through the door.
"Hey everybody!" she yells, in her I-Just-Got-A-New-Job voice. "Guess who got a job at the Smoothie bar?"
"You?"
"Man, Ally, how are you so good at this game?" Austin asks. I chuckle.
"Duh," I reply.
"I get free unlimited smoothies and stuff!" Trish cries happily. I smile.
I hope she keeps her job, because I love smoothies.
Trish's eyes dart back and forth, looking at Austin, then at me, then Austin again. "I think I'll leave you two alone now," she tells us, and walks out the door.
I sigh, and go back to the piano, letting my fingers do a waltz across the smooth, slippery white keys.
Then I stop, and I grab Austin's hand.
"Austin?" I ask.
"Yeah?" he replies.
"Promise we'll stick together, no matter what happens."
"I promise."
Austin
Of course. It's not likely I'd ever want to leave Ally, after all the work I've done to try to get her.
I remember the time I took her to that fright festival. I enjoyed it, but, of course, Ally fell asleep. And I just loved it, how she lay her head on my lap, something a couple would do.
But then, we were best friends, and not a couple, and we thought nothing could change that.
That time in the practice room, me and Ally, having that practice slow dance.
I don't care if she was bad, I still enjoyed it. The way her hair flopped back and forth with every step she took...
And she was supposed to be doing that for Dallas.
But Dallas rejected her, and we had our own dance, a special one.
And if it weren't for Trish's mom blowing that air-horn in my ear when we did the dip, I think I would've kissed her.
And I would've loved to see the look on Dallas's face when I did that.
Glowing with hatred, flames dancing inside his eyes.
Yep, that would be fun to see.
I snap back to reality, and Ally's standing in front of me, smiling.
"Thank you," she says, and grabs my hand.
"Ally, I'll never leave you."
Author's Note: Very. Short. Chappie.
But at least I updated, right?
Here's your funny quote:
If you die in an elevator, make sure to press the Up button
Truthfully, I don't like that one as much as the other.
Okay, well.
The next chapter will be longer, and it will come in less than a week, I hope, I think, I wish!
Bye!
