Both Robin and Emma gasped a little once they had heard what Regina had asked. Robin frowned a little. Had he heard her right? Had she really just asked him who he was? He shook his head and then looked up at Emma. She motioned for him to say something back to Regina and he then looked back down at Regina who looked confused.

"You…you don't know who I am?" Robin stuttered a little, a hurt look on his face as he began to register what was going on.

Regina shook her head, a look of confusion still on her face. "I'm sorry, but I don't."

Robin looked back up at Emma. He didn't know what to do or say now. He had no idea what was going on. How could she not know who he was? This didn't make any sense. What had Cora done to her? Emma then looked down at Regina, wondering if she knew who she was. "Regina…do you know who I am?" Emma asked.

Regina looked over at Emma and studied her for a moment before shaking her head. "I'm sorry but I don't know who you are either." She replied. "What happened? Where am I?"

Emma sighed a little and ran her fingers through her long blonde hair. This was not good. "You are in hospital Regina. You…erm…you had an accident and hit your head." Emma said thinking that was the best thing to say to a Regina who had seemingly lost her memories.

Regina nodded her head. "Is my mother here?"

"Your mother? Cora?" Emma asked a little surprised that Regina was asking for her mother. She then wondered what exactly was the last thing Regina remembered. What was the last thought in her mind? "Regina what is the last thing you remember?" Emma asked.

Regina looked up at the white ceiling above her as she thought about the last thing she could remember. "I'm not sure…I guess having dinner with my mother and sister and her husband to be the king and his daughter princess Snow." She replied making both Emma and Robin gasp. Regina ignored their gasps and frowned a little. "Forgive me but you said I am in…hospital…what is a hospital?" She asked.

"Erm…well…" Emma stuttered for a moment and then looked up at Robin. She shook her head and looked back at Regina. "Excuse us for a moment." She said before pulling Robin over to the other side of the room. "Okay this is not good! Her last memory is…I am presuming from way back in the past." Emma said.

Robin nodded. "It sounds like it is from before we met. When we met her sister was just about to be married to the king so I hazard a guess at just before we met." Robin said.

"Right. So Cora has done something to Regina to make her lose all her memories from after that moment." Emma said. Robin nodded. "What do we do then?"

"We need to figure out a way for her to gain her memories again." Robin said. "I just don't know how to do that yet…"

Emma nodded her head. "I think perhaps I will go and get Mary-Margaret. She might be the only person apart from Cora and Zelena that Regina will recognise and it might help keep her calm."

"Okay…" Robin said. He then looked over to a confused looking Regina who had now sat herself up in the bed. He had no idea what to do. He could not believe he had only just gotten her back and now he had lost her again. He looked back over at Emma. "While you are gone I might try and talk to her. See if I can make her remember something, anything."

"Alright. But go easy on her." Emma said placing a hand on his arm. She gave him a sympathetic smile and then walked out of the room to go and phone Mary-Margaret.

Robin walked back over to Regina. She looked him over and he ran his fingers through his short sandy brown hair. "Okay so you don't know who I am then?" He asked looking up into Regina's big brown eyes that were narrowed a little in confusion.

"Are you my doctor?" She asked although now when she really looked over the man in front of her she could see he was not a doctor.

"No…" Robin said.

"I suppose now seeing what you are wearing it was a silly question. So who are you then?" Regina asked.

Robin ran his hands through his hair again and tried to figure out how to tell her who he was. He could not believe what was happening. He sat down on the edge of the bed and looked at Regina, into her eyes. "I'm your husband." Robin said softly.

Regina widened her eyes a little once she had heard what Robin had said to her. She then looked away, looking at everything in the room apart from the man in front of her. She wasn't married. Not yet. it was her sister that was getting married. She was so confused and her head was beginning to hurt.

"Regina…" Robin said moving to touch her hand but Regina moved her hand away from his touch.

"I…I don't understand…I don't have a husband…My sister is getting married…I…" Regina stuttered. Her breathing was beginning to quicken as her panic was beginning to rise. Robin had no idea what to do. He stood up and went over to the door, opening it he shouted out for help.

Dr Whale was just outside and he came rushing into the room. "Ah Regina you are awake."

"She…is having a panic attack…I think." Robin said. "She doesn't remember anything…she doesn't remember me."

Dr Whale nodded, deciding he would sort Regina out before addressing what Robin had said. He walked over to Regina and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Okay Regina. I am Dr Whale. I want you to try and calm yourself down. Calm your breathing. Follow my breathing Regina." Dr Whale said. Regina nodded and she tried her best to follow his breathing. Within a few minutes Regina had calmed down a bit and her breathing was back to a much more normal pace. Dr Whale smiled. "That's it. Well done. Now I will be right back." He then motioned to Robin to follow him out of the room. "Okay now you said she doesn't remember anything?"

Robin shook his head. "Her memories are gone. The last thing she remembers is something that happened years ago in the Enchanted Forest before we met."

Dr Whale sighed. "I am guessing this is Cora's doing."

Robin nodded his head. "Is there anything you could do for her? Anything you could give her to regain her memories?"

"I'm sorry Robin but there is nothing I can do to help." Dr Whale replied. "This is not my expertise."

"I don't know what to do." Robin said. He could feel the tears beginning to well up in his eyes. He then looked to his side to see Emma returning but now with Mary-Margaret in two.

Mary-Margaret wrapped her arms around Robin as soon as she got to him. "Oh Robin I am so sorry. Emma has explained everything to me. We will figure out a way to help her remember. I promise."

"Thank you." Robin merely whispered.

Mary-Margaret looked in the window of Regina's room. She saw Regina just sat on the bed looking around her with a confused look on her face. She sighed and looked at Robin, Emma and Dr Whale. "Should I go in?"

"Do you think it will help?" Dr Whale said. "She has already had quite a confusing time of it."

"She should recognise Mary-Margaret. She was there in the last memory Regina has." Emma explained.

"Yes but I was also quite a bit younger then." Mary-Margaret sighed.

"Anything is worth a shot. You could be one of the only people she knows at the moment. It could help her through this." Emma said.

Mary-Margaret nodded her head. "Your right." She then turned and went over to Regina's room. She opened the door and stepped in closing the door behind her causing Regina to look over at her. "Hi Regina." Mary-Margaret said softly.

Regina narrowed her eyes a little at her and looked her up and down. She sort of recognised the woman in front of her but wasn't sure if it really was the person she thought it was. "Snow?" Regina asked.

"Yes it's me." Mary-Margaret said giving Regina a small smile as she walked over towards Regina's bed.

"But…you look so…I mean…" Regina stuttered a little.

Mary-Margaret laughed a little. "Yea I know I look older than you remember."

Regina nodded her head. "I don't understand…"

"I know this is confusing for you Regina." Mary-Margaret said holding onto Regina's hand. "But I am here to help you. I am going to help you through this okay?"

Regina could feel tears welling up in her eyes. She really didn't understand what was going on. The last she could remember Snow was just a young girl and now here she was stood in front of her as a young woman. it didn't make any sense. Along with the man that claimed to be her husband. "The man outside…"

"Robin?"

"Yes. He claims to be my husband." Regina said. "Is he?"

Mary-Margaret nodded her head. "He is Regina. I know this is all very weird to hear but he is your husband."

"If he is my husband then why can I not remember him?" Regina asked. "What happened to me? What kind of accident was I in?"

Mary-Margaret sighed a little. She wasn't sure how to explain what happened as she wasn't there. She looked behind her to see than Emma and Robin were still stood outside. She turned back to Regina. "Hold on one minute." She then turned on her heel and went back over to the door, opening it she leaned out. "Emma would you mind coming in here for a moment?"

"Okay." Emma said and she walked into the room. They then both made their way back over to Regina's bed.

"Regina wants' to know what happened to her Emma. Since I wasn't there I thought it better you explain to her what happened." Mary-Margaret said. Emma then looked at Mary-Margaret giving her a questioning look as if to say 'is this a good idea?' Mary-Margaret motioned for Emma to speak.

"Right. Well…" Emma started. "I'm not really sure where to begin."

"The beginning is always a very good place to start." Regina said with a hint of sass that Emma couldn't help but smile at.

"Your right enough." She replied. "Well…your mother and sister were in jail…"

"They were in jail?" Regina asked her eyes widening.

"Yea why is not important right now. But anyways you and your mom weren't really on good terms and she wanted to see you so I went to your place to tell you. You said you would go and see her as long as Robin and I were with you. So we all went. Your mom and you talked and then after a while you hugged and I'm not sure what she did but something happened and you kind of flew back and then we brought you here and well…you know the rest…" Emma rambled slightly.

Regina wasn't really sure if she took much of what Emma had said in. She ran her fingers through her hair and tried to work it all out in her head. "Why would my mother do something to me? I don't understand. Why would she want me to lose my memories?"

"I am guessing because she doesn't like that you and Robin are together." Emma shrugged.

"So she did not choose him for me?" Regina asked now looking over at Mary-Margaret.

"No Regina. You choose him yourself. Cora…well she does not like the match." Mary-Margaret said.

"Why not?" Regina asked.

"He is not a royal Regina." Mary-Margaret replied.

Regina nodded. She didn't need any further explanation. She understood from that why her mother would not approve. She sighed and looked around her. She then looked back at Mary-Margaret and Emma. "What is this place? Where am I? This does not look like any place in the Enchanted Forest."

Emma looked over at Mary-Margaret giving her this question. "It is not in the Enchanted Forest no. We are no longer there. We are in a town called Storybrooke which is in Maine."

"Storybrooke? Why are we no longer in the Enchanted Forest?" Regina asked.

"It is a long story Regina. I think perhaps we should leave it for another time." Mary-Margaret said giving her a smile. "I am sure everything we have told you so far is confusing enough right now." Regina nodded a little.

"Do you know where my mother and sister are?" Regina asked.

Emma shook her head. "I'm sorry we don't. They disappeared."

Regina just nodded her head. This was all just so confusing. She glanced over to the window in her room and could see the man who claimed to be her husband. She supposed he was very handsome and if they were telling her the truth and he was her husband then she could see why she would go for him but she couldn't just believe them. She couldn't just go with him just because he told her he was her husband. She sighed. "I can't…" Regina started and then stopped.

Mary-Margaret sat on the edge of her bed and placed her hand into hers giving it a light squeeze and smiling at her. "What were you going to say Regina? You can't what?" Mary-Margaret asked.

Regina looked down at her lap. "I can't go with him." She mumbled. "I know he says he is my husband and you told me he is too…" Regina looked up at Mary-Margaret and Emma. "But I can't go with him. I…I don't know him right now. I have no idea who he is."

Mary-Margaret could see Regina was beginning to get herself worked up. She hated seeing her like this. So she leaned forward and pulled Regina into a tight embrace. She rubbed her back soothingly as Regina clung to her. "Regina it's alright." Mary-Margaret then pulled away a little to look at Regina. "Robin will understand Regina."

"He will?" Regina asked letting a few tears fall.

"Of course." Mary-Margaret said. "He will understand how you feel at the moment."

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Regina said beginning to cry a little.

"Oh Regina. You don't have to apologise for anything." Mary-Margaret said pulling Regina back into a hug. "This is not your fault, do you hear me?" Mary-Margaret could feel Regina nod into her shoulder. "We will sort this. I promise."
