Hey everyone hope you all are doing good, I'm back with the newest chapter. It took a little longer then I first thought because some stuff came up and I haven't had a lot of time to write. It's still like that so future chapters maybe slow but I promise I'll have them up as soon as their done. Anyways thank you all for taking the time and reading the story; a big thanks to my co-author to mercwiththemouth.

Tsukune tried to hit Mundus but he grabbed Tsukune's arm and pulled it out of place as Mundus kicked him away and firing Ki at him sending a cloud of dirt and dust to cover the area. Mundus blitzed toward the dirt cloud but Tsukune had the same idea; Mundus eyes widen as he ducked dodging Tsukune's hand that was aimed for his throat. It cut some of his hair before Mundus sent his knee into his chin and grabbed his face before pushing Tsukune through the forest with his Ki.

"Kamehameha!" Mundus yelled.

A ki beam tore through the forest uprooting trees. Mundus watched it as it hit Tsukune however his eyes widen as the attack was redirected to the school with a flick of Tsukune's hand. The impact destroyed part of the school and created a shock wave sending dirt and rubble flying around them. Tsukune ran towards Mundus ready to punch but Mundus dodged it and hit Tsukune in the back; Tsukune caught himself before kicking Mundus in the chin with both feet before flipping onto his feet and punching Mundus in the stomach making him spit up blood a little bit. Mundus grabbed Tsukune's arm and held it so he couldn't escape shoving a Ki ball into Tsukune's stomach. As it exploded both of them were sent flying backwards in different directions. Mundus was the first to recover before he went on the attack not giving Tsukune time to recover unleashing a relenting combo of punches and kicks getting farther away from the school and their friends. Soon they were at the cliff that over looked the blood red sea. Tsukune managed to grab Mundus arm and pulled him off balance as he did a hand stand on Mundus's back and landed on his feet before Mundus kicked him in the back. Tsukune slide to a stop as he started to run towards Mundus and cloths lined him into the ground and fired a red Ki blast at Mundus's chest making him yell in pain as it shook the ground and destroying it leaving Mundus motionless in it.

Moka and the others ran towards the fight and stopped staring wide eyed as they saw Tsukune floating above a crater.

"When did he learn how to do that?" Yukari asked in awe.

"Either Mundus taught him or the ghoul is tapping into his Ki." Daiki said.

"I guess Mundus wasn't strong enough to beat him." Mizore said sadly.

"If Mundus couldn't beat him as a super saiyan two then how are we supposed to defeat him?" Kurumu asked in terror as she looked at the motionless body of the man she loved laying in the middle of the crater.

Tsukune glared down at Mundus and gave an evil smirk before he started to release Ki attacks at Mundus's body sending up dirt. Moka and the others watched in horror at what was going on.

"That's enough!" Moka yelled getting Tsukune's attention.

"From here on out I'm your opponent." Moka told him.

Tsukune started to fly towards Moka as she took a fighting stance. However a hand suddenly grabbed Tsukune's ankle and slammed him into the ground making an imprint of his body in the ground. Tsukune lifted his head to see what had his ankle and he saw Mundus lying on the ground blood forced his left eye closed as it ran down from his forehead but a smirk was on his face.

"Boo." Mundus said before standing up and slamming Tsukune head first into the ground.

Mundus staggered a few feet away breathing heavy while Tsukune was standing up slowly his eyes glowing with anger and a primal hunger that no normal person would have.

"Looks like I'll have to kick it up a notch to end this or I'll end up dead." Mundus said.

He started to increase his power as small bits of rock floated up and the ground shook slightly. He was in pain from the injuries however he kept the pain at bay while he powered up.

"Kuruno go get some senzu beans." Daiki said as he watched.

"What? Why would I need some?" Kurumu asked

"After this fight Mundus's won't be able to move without being in excruciating pain."

"What do you mean?" Yukari asked.

"Mundus is pushing his body past the limit it can handle right now. As a result he's tearing every single muscle in his body." Daiki explained.

"Why would he do that?" Moka asked.

"It's because it's who he is. He'll push himself to the brink of death to protect what he cares about." Mizore said.

"Exactly Shariyuki." Daiki said.

Soon a light exploded from the crater making Moka and the others shield their eyes and Tsukune stagger a bit. As it dimmed they saw Mundus standing in the middle golden hair went down to his back and a cold hard look was on his face.

"It ends here Tsukune." Mundus said coldly taking a fighting stance.

Tsukune ran towards Mundus before jumping up trying to kick him however Mundus blocked it and pushed Tsukune back. As he got his balance back Mundus spun and kicked Tsukune in the chest making him flip backwards. Tsukune quickly recovered and leapt back on his feet before Mundus's fist connected with his face. A sound as if lightning struck a tree was heard before Tsukune slid off the edge of the cliff creating a ditch as he did. Moka and the others lost sight of him as he fell however he started to float back up badly injured but still ready to fight. Moka and the others eyes widen as they saw Mundus tackle Tsukune and both fell towards the blood red ocean trading blows as they fell.

Mundus saw the water fast approaching so he pushed Tsukune into the side of the cliff with his Ki making it crack before flying off towards the ocean away from land. He soon felt a sinister presence behind him and turned to look. He saw Tsukune flying after him a look of pure hate in his eyes and a killer intent coming from him. He stopped before taking a stance and charging Ki into his cupped hands; He watched as Tsukune did the same.

"Super Kamahameha!" Mundus yelled pushing out releasing a large light blue beam towards Tsukune.

Tsukune did the same with a blood red beam both beams collided and a blinding light appeared between them.

Moka and the others could barely see Mundus and Tsukune fighting however they both saw the Ki attacks hit each other and felt a shock wave that came from them.

"The attacks are almost equal." Mizore said as she watched the beams push against each other.

"Guys! Look at the water!" Yukari said as she gasped.

They looked and saw the water under Mundus and Tsukune was gone, exposing the rocky surface. The water was being kept at bay with the power that was coming from the attacks. They soon saw the light blue beam engulf the red one and Tsukune. Tsukune let out a inhuman roar of pain before he flew backwards; his back hitting a tree cracking it and falling to the ground. His broken body lying helpless while he had ragged breathing. Mundus appeared and stood over him looking down at him. Mundus clothes were tore in several places; His jacket and shirt completely gone. His tail hung to the right twitching slightly as if in pain his breathing was heavy. Sadness was in his cold eyes as he looked at Tsukune.

"I'm sorry Tsukune." Mundus said as he pointed his palm at Tsukune a Ki ball forming in it.

"There is no need for that." A voice said from the side.

They all looked and saw Ruby standing there with a man in a white robe holding a Rosario. The only thing visible under the hood was glowing eyes and an eerie grin.

"I'm impressed Mundus. You managed to take down one of the most dangerous monsters with severe wounds. You truly are a Son." The man said as he chuckled.

"Who is that?" Kurumu asked.

"He's Tenmei Mikogami, the headmaster of the school." Daiki said.

"What's the headmaster doing here?" Yukari asked.

"And why are you here instead of watching Aasim?" Kurumu asked Ruby with a annoyed look.

"Aasim is safe I put protective spells around him and some of my crows are watching him. If anything happens to him then we'll know." Ruby said.

Kurumu started to say something but was cut off by Mundus who let out an agonizing yell of pain. She turned to look and saw him return to normal before falling to the ground writhing in pain as his body shook.

"What's wrong with him?!" She asked panic in her voice as she kneelt next to him while Mizore was on the other side.

"It's the result of him pushing his body past its limit. His muscles are torn to shreds." Ruby said.

A small pouch landing in her hand got her attention; she looked and saw a few senzu beans inside it.

"I brought these because I thought you all would need them." Ruby said.

Kurumu smiled gratefully at Ruby before forcing Mundus to swallow one and his body slowly stopped writhing and he lay on the ground peacefully breathing more easily.

"As for Tsukune." Mikogami said walking over to him.

Moka watched him attached something to Tsukune's wrist. She looked closer and saw it was in the shape of a locket.

"This holy locket has the same properties as your Rosario Moka." Mikogami said.

"Does that mean…" Moka started to say.

"Yes it means his vampire blood will be sealed. Now get these to two the infirmary so they can rest.

Moka and Mizore lifted Tsukune up resting his arms around their necks while Kurumu and Daiki did the same followed by Yukari as they headed back to the school.

As they walked back to the school a student watched the group of friends. He had light brown hair and pushed his glasses up on his nose while a sliver hair student with a red and green eye stood beside him.

"That was an entertaining fight." The sliver hair student said.

"Yes it was, and we can use that power to help with our plan." The second one said.

"What are you thinking Hokuto?"

"I'm thinking Tsukune Aono and Mundus Son will be a problem, however, that can be easily solved Kiria." Hokuto said.

"How is that?" Kiria asked his interest peaked.

"All we need is the dragon balls. Once we get those then we'll be ready to put the plan into motion." Hokuto said before both of them started to walk back towards the school.
