It only seems right that I update this story since I updated my other ones. I am starting to get back in the grove of things, somewhat. I actually wasn't planning on writing this character at this time – I've been trying to work on some others, but lo and behold every time I tried I would get stuck and eventually it came to every time I thought about the character all of a sudden – BAM- Iceman! So here I go. I really wanted to do another fun chapter because I do believe that sometimes happiness holds just as much power as its darker counterparts. This is short and hopefully sweet enough?

I just want to thank every single one of you that have continued to support both my stories and me. I cannot express how much that means to me. Just know that every time I get a review that my entire day is completely made because you took the time out of yours to brighten up mine. Thank you. I hope you enjoy.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

The northern section of the United States is used to the chilling beat of the weather. Ice and snow are common place in their season life. Children play in, what nostalgia insists was, a winter wonderland. Robert "Bobby" Drake grew up with ice in his blood and snow beneath his feet. Traversing the ski slopes from the time he could walk was just a normal part of his childhood. His family enjoyed skiing and the fact that they could share it with their little boy was just that much better. He wasn't the best, but he certainly wasn't the worst. One of the more proficient children of his age he excelled at the winter sport.

There was one time that he managed to wonder away from the massive group of families and safety offered by the amount of people. He stayed out in the snow for so long that when his family finally found him they were worried that he would have frost bite or hypothermia. Luckily and mysteriously enough the worst was a chilled body and a slight cold. The family decided after that to go warmer places and try their hands at water skiing. It was nice for a time, but eventually the boy grew tired of the warmth and managed to convince his parents to return to his beloved snow covered slopes. The story of his venture in the snow didn't earn him much of a passing awe from his fellow students and school.

However, the fact that he could chug an entire frozen ICEE without getting brain-freeze made him a leader on the playground.

Hope you enjoyed it. Please let me know what you thought!
