Tak was at her base and she was talking to the tallest on the monitor. Almighty Tallest Red looked at Tak.
"So you're saying that everyone is cured from the human stomach bug?" Red asked.
"Yes." Tak answered. "Including Zim?" Red asked. "Unfortunately yes." Tak said.
"What!?" Purple asked. He wasn't annoyed at Tak, he was watching the irken baseball game. Red stared at Purple.
Purple turned around and saw Tak. "Oh hi Tak."
"Don't make me pull the plug on that TV Purple!" Red warned. "We're on a mission!"
"Oh. Oops. So plan failed?" Purple asked.
"That's it! No more donuts for you." Red said to the other tallest. Purple put his hands by his mouth and was shocked. "But…"
"You can't even focus! Turn the baseball game off. Anyway Tak, keep trying." Red signed off. Tak sighed.
Meanwhile, at Zim's base, Zim was working on a plan to help Skoodge and Gir was playing around with a machine.
"Master, look!" Gir yelled as he was playing with a wire, thinking it was a fire hose.
"Gir, stop messing around! Listen, Dib and Gaz are coming over and I don't want you causing problems." Zim explained.
"Okay." Gir said. Minimoose squeaked.
Outside, Dib and Gaz were on their way to Zim's base. Dib was telling Gaz his plan to stop Tak. "So I'm thinking about attacking Tak this time Gaz."
"Stop talking Dib. I'm trying to play my game and you always get captured by her. In fact, all aliens." Gaz explained. "So maybe you should stop this."
"No! I'm trying to save Earth from Tak and Skoodge!" Dib yelled.
"Shut up Dib!" Gaz yelled. "Fine. You play your game, I'll save the world." Dib said. Gaz rolled her eyes. Then they walked into Zim's house.
Zim saw them. "Hey."
"Hey Zim."
"So, got any ideas to foil Tak's plan?" Zim asked.
"Well I'm thinking about…" Before Dib can tell Zim what his plan was, Gir saw buttons on the machine that he was playing with.
"Ooh! What's this do!?" Gir pressed a button on the machine and the machine hit Dib and Gaz. They both fell to the ground.
Zim stared at his robot. "GIR!" he yelled.
"Oops. Sorry." Gir said.
"I told you not to play with that! Go to my lab and don't touch anything! I'll talk to you later!" Zim ordered.
"Yes Master." Gir walked away sadly. Zim ran over to Dib and Gaz. "Are you two alright?" he asked.
Gaz and Dib opened their eyes. Zim was able to see Gaz's eyes. They were fully open. Dib's on the other hand weren't.
"I'm so sorry about Gir." Zim apologized.
"It's alright Zim." Gaz calmly said. Zim was surprised that Gaz was calm and she wasn't beating him up.
Dib raw the Game Slave in Gaz's hands and took it from her. "Next time, if you take the game from me again, you will pay!" Dib warned.
"Eh? Dib doesn't play video games!"
"Zim, what are we standing here for!? We need to stop Tak before the world is destroyed! She still has Skoodge, who I still don't trust." Gaz said.
"What? Okay this is weird. Gaz, why are you acting like Dib and why is Dib acting like you?" Zim asked.
"Don't bother me Zim." Dib said as he was playing the game.
"Dib, stop playing that game. We need your knowledge of the paranormal." Zim explained.
"Wait a minute. I'm acting like Dib?" Gaz asked.
"Yes! Look what you're doing! You're not playing your game and you're obsessed with the paranormal!" Zim yelled.
"If I'm acting like Dib, then that means I'm the paranormal investigator."
"And Dib doesn't care."
"This is wrong."
"Yeah. No kidding."
Dib opened one of his eyes. "Hey! Who did this!?" he asked.
"I am so sorry about this Dib." Zim said.
"You!? You will pay Zim!"
Before Dib can attack Zim, Gaz ran in front of him. "No! Dib, listen to me. Our personalities changed. I'm acting like you and you're acting like me." Gaz explained.
"You better fix this soon!" Dib yelled.
"We will. Relax."
"And anyway, it's not my fault. It's Gir's." Zim explained.
"So what do we do?" Gaz asked.
"I'll fix you two. Until then, just be your normal self." Zim said.
Gaz and Dib left the house. Zim went to his lab. In the lab, Gir was on the floor, looking sad.
Zim walked over. "Gir?" he asked. Gir looked at his master. "Master."
"I need to talk to you."
"Am I in trouble?" Gir asked.
"Yes and no. You do realize that I told you not to mess around with one of my inventions. Did I say that? Yes or no?" Zim asked.
"Yes. I didn't mean to Master. I just wanted to have fun." Gir explained.
"Well now Dib and Gaz's personalities changed."
"Ooh. That sounds like fun."
"Fun!? Gir, this is serious!" Zim yelled.
"I want to try it on us!"
"No, Gir! I'm not playing around! I have to help Dib and Gaz."
"Aw." Gir said.
"You can play later."
"Okay Master."
At Dib's house, Gaz grabbed Dib's laptop and started typing in the word alien. Professor Membrane saw her.
"Now my daughter is being crazy? My poor insane daughter. Wait, that doesn't make sense. Son? What's going on?" he asked.
Dib was playing the Game Slave in the kitchen. "I don't know Dad. I'm playing my game."
"You're playing Gaz's game?" Professor Membrane asked.
"Yeah." Dib answered.
"Hmm. This is weird. Normally Gaz is the one who likes playing video games and you're the crazy one."
"Whatever." Dib said.
"I'll be back." Professor Membrane walked away.
For once, he was there for his children. He was focused on them. To help, he picked the phone up and called Dib and Gaz's friend, Zim.
Zim was trying to fix the problem that Gir caused. He was still annoyed at him. "Nice job Gir!"
Gir had his head down and Minimoose squeaked. Zim explained to the moose what Gir did.
"Gir played around with one of my experiments and now Dib and Gaz's personalities switched."
Minimoose squeaked and Zim sighed. The the phone rang. Zim gout up from the couch and answered it. "Hello?"
"Hello. Is this the foreign little green child? Who Dib calls an alien?" Professor Membrane asked.
"Yes. Professor Membrane?"
"Yes. I'm calling you because my son and daughter's personalities changed."
"Yeah. I know. Do you remember that little robot?"
"Gir right?" Professor Membrane asked.
"Yeah. He did this to Dib and Gaz and now I'm trying to fix this." Zim explained.
"Thank you."
"Okay." Zim hung up. "Gir!"
Gir walked over to Zim. "Yes Master?" he asked. "I'm going to fix Dib and Gaz. Do not destroy the house when I'm gone." Zim ordered.
"Yes sir!" Gir yelled in duty mode. Zim didn't trust him, but he had to save his human friends. So he put his disguise on and left the house.
At Dib's house, Dib was playing the Game Slave and Gaz was telling him about Tak.
"How can we stop Tak?" Gaz asked.
"Quiet Gaz." Dib said.
"Dib, help me here!" Gaz yelled.
"Let me play my game right now Gaz or you will pay!" Dib warned.
There a knock on the door and Gaz opened it. She saw Zim. "Zim!"
"Hey. How's it going?" he asked.
Professor Membrane walked over. "Zim. I need to talk to you. Meet me in the kitchen." Professor Membrane walked into the kitchen
"Sure." Zim fixed his wig and followed Professor Membrane.
"Do you have the materials?" Professor Membrane asked.
"Not yet. Wait, you're a scientist. You should know how to fix this." Zim said.
"Well this is a hard case. Do you remember when Gaz had pig mouth?"
"Yes."
"Well it took a few days. Or was it one day? Anyway, it takes a while."
"Yeah. I'll see what I can do."
"Thank you Zim."
Zim saluted and took Dib and Gaz to his base. When he got home, he saw that his house was a disaster. "Gir! What is the meaning of this!?" he asked.
"Oops. Sorry. Oh check this out!" Gir started playing around with the same machine and a flash of light came out of it.
"Whoa!" Gaz yelled. She and Dib ran out of the way. The light his Zim and he started acting like Gir. He laughed, but it wasn't evilly. He was laughing like Gir.
"Do that again Gir! No wait! Let me do it!" Zim yelled.
"Yay! My master's having fun!" Gir yelled.
Gir thought he was having a great time with his fun master, but when Zim used the machine on Gir, something happened. Gir started being serious and acted like a real SIR Unit. His eyes were red and he was in duty mode.
"Master! What are you doing!? We need to help Dib and...whoa. Wait a second. I'm acting like you you're acting like me."
"Hey Gir, check this out!" Zim put the song Come On To Me on and started dancing which is something that Gir would normally do.
"Master! Come on. You can dance later!" Gir yelled.
"Dib! Now something's wrong with Zim and Gir!" Gaz yelled.
"Don't bother me Gaz."
"Master! Hmm. So this is what I do when Master wants me to focus. Alright Gaz, we're on our own." Gir said.
"What do you mean?" Gaz asked.
"My master's not listening and Dib doesn't care. You're now the paranormal investigator and I'm serious." Gir explained. "The only thing you don't have a big head like Dib."
Dib's eyes opened. "You say that one more time, you will pay Gir!" he yelled.
Minimoose squeaked. "Moose!" Zim yelled. Minimoose squeaked. It was confused. Gir had to explain to the moose.
"Master and I switched personalities Minimoose." Gir said.
Minimoose squeaked. "Come on!" Gaz yelled. She, Gir, and Minimoose dragged Dib and Zim and left the house.
"This is so weird. Normally I'm the one who gets dragged around by Dib." Gaz explained. Gir nodded. "And I'm the one who causes problems."
They all went to Dib's house. Professor Membrane walked over. "What happened?" he asked.
"Bad news Dad. Zim and Gir got hit with the same machine." Gaz said.
"How come this is happening?" Professor Membrane asked.
"Why!? I'll tell you why. Aliens! Aliens are causing stuff to happen!" Gaz yelled.
Dib growled. "Paranormal things." he mumbled.
"Daughter, I told Dib the same thing. There are no aliens. I am going to go to the Membrane Lab and solve this problem." Professor Membrane left.
Minimoose squeaked.
"No! It's alien technology!" Gaz sighed. "Gir! You're smart now. Is there anything you can do that can fix us?"
"Look Gaz, I might have my master's personality, but only Zim knows how to fix this. Besides, my brain is just paper clips and gum." Gir explained.
"If only he can teach you how to play around with that machine. Then you can do the same thing and turn him back."
"That actually can work. We just need to put some sense into him. Master?"
Gir saw Zim doing something that he would normally never do, breakdance.
"How can we get him to focus?" Gaz asked. "Well he normally yells at me a lot. I have to do the same." Gir explained.
"So you're the master and he's the misbehaved robot?" Gaz asked. "Yeah, but I'm the robot and he's the irken." Gir answered.
"Zim, come on. You need to focus. We'll go to the Krazy Taco if you help us." Gaz said.
"Okay." Zim smiled.
They went back to Zim's base.
"Zim, start playing around with the machine and turn us back." Gaz ordered.
"Yay!" Zim started playing with the machine and he turned himself back his normal self. "It worked! I finally worked out the buttons to this thing. Gaz, you're next. Get your brother."
"I'm playing a game!" Dib yelled.
"You're not Gaz. You're Dib and my best friend!" Zim screamed. He used the machine on Dib and Gaz. They were back to normal.
Gaz grabbed the Game Slave and attacked Dib. "You take my game again, you will pay!" Gaz warned.
"Yes! Finally! You can have your stupid game Gaz." Dib said.
"Okay Master. What's next?" Gir asked, still in duty mode.
Zim turned around and smiled. "Gir. He's behaving."
"Zim, we should turn him back as well." Dib said.
"Do we have to? I kind of like having him serious."
"Zim."
"Oh come on. He won't ruin our plans to stop Tak and besides, he's my robot." Zim explained.
Dib looked at his alien friend. "Alright."
"YES! VICTORY!" Zim screamed. Dib looked at his sister. "I wonder how long this will last." he said.
