Dear Readers,
Please understand that I have a lot going on with my life right now. As I MENTIONED, I got to the point in the story where I'd planned to, but then was suddenly stuck with a bad amount of writer's block.
As much as I try to update regularly, I am not a professional writer and I have a job, a dog, a life to take care of. This is a hobby. One I enjoy. One I think others can and do enjoy with me.
Know that I will be updating soon. I don't have a time frame on this, but I have been working very hard on the next chapter and want it to be just right. The story is close to an ending I think, but I want it to be good. I don't want to just post regularly so that you have something to read but it's mediocre crap. I want it to be good for your sake.
That said, please don't post disparaging remarks or harassing comments to me about how I'm disrespecting you. No, I'm not. For those of you somewhat new to my story, you don't know that back around May I didn't post a single word for this story for about two months because I moved and was starting a new job and just... well, shit hit the fan.
The reason my other story has been updated more frequently is because I have a clearer plan of where it's going at the moment. I hope you understand.
Honestly, I'm a little hurt by some of the things that have been said by so-called fans, and while I don't expect an apology, I'd appreciate if you could be kind to me and to others going forward — in all aspects of your life. It's easy to fall into the trap of no-consequences comments on the internet. But just remember that there are actual people that read these things and that they're directed to. It doesn't help anyone to say mean things.
If you'd prefer I just post the first crap I come up with without doing edits and being happy with it, by all means, send me a private message and I'll send you what I've got. But something tells me no one wants that. If I had a beta, this would all hopefully happen a lot sooner because I'd have a sounding board to bounce ideas off. If anyone would like to volunteer for that task, please PM me.
