Hi:) So I recieved a few pm's asking how many more chapters there would be and I'm going to go to 30, but the last chapter will sorta be them as adults. Also I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while I'm without internet but my mom might get it. -_-_-_-_-

Edd fidgeted nervously in front of his mirror. Today in an hour Edd was supposed to have dinner with Kevin and his mother, though it is something he will have to do eventually he was still scared. Why? He never liked being introduced to new people, especially people who's opinion matters. So here he was wearing a red button up shirt and black skinny jeans along with his black converse and of course his beanie, it wasn't screaming 'I don't care' and it also wasn't screaming 'I care too much'. Kevin may have been able to see him without his hat numerous times but just because Edd was seeing his mother didn't mean he was going without it, it was his safety blanket, his shield against the real world. Walking into the bathroom he put some minty toothpaste on his blue toothbrush and brushed every inch of his mouth, but no amount of cleansliness could calm his nerves. He jumped when a loud knock from downstairs signaled Kevin's arrival, breathing in an out he grabbed his jacket and walked down the stairs to the front door. Standing in the entryway was Kevin, wearing a purple shirt and what looked to be a new pair of jeans, of course his red hat was perched on top of his head. Kevin smiled at him and held out his hand.

"Ready?" Nodding his head Edd reached for his hand and entwined their fingers.

Walking across the street was nerve wracking, the prospect of meeting Kevin's mom and her not liking him was killing him inside. What if she won't accep our relationship? What if she won't let me date Kevin? What if she doesn't like how I look? What if-?

"Edd stop." Looking up at the red head Edd raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?"

"You're over thinking this, I've already talked to her and she's excited to meet you. So don't worry and just have fun." Sighing Edd willed himself to calm down. He's right, I just need to breathe and be myself. As they recahedthe front door Kevin grasped the knob and pulled it open, walking in Edd looked at the living room. It was a nice room, the walls were white and the couches were a deep red, across the room sat a small tv on a deep brown wooden table. Following Kevin to the kitchen Edd wrung his hands as he stared at Kevin's mom, she was beautiful to say the least, in a pink long sleeved shirt and white cuprees along with white flats. Turning she smiled when she saw the two, setting the pan of lasagna down she walked over and enveloped Kevin in a big hug, turning she saw Edd and smield as she hugged him also.

"So you're the Edd I'm always hearing about?" Pulling back from the hug she looked over at Kevin and mouthed 'He's adorable', smiling Kevin nodded in agreement.

"Told you." Edd blushed a deep red at the compliment. Walking over to a drawer she pulled out a metal spatula and started cutting the lasagna into squares, turning she rolled her eyes at the boys who stood awkwardly in the doorway.

"Kevin, why don't you and Eddward set the table." Using the spatula she pointed at a cabinet which Edd assumed was the one that held the plates. Reaching for the door Kevin pulled out three red plates. She must really like red... Heading for the dining room he stoped when his mom called his name.
"Kevin, you'll need four plates. Mitch is joing us for dinner also, isn't that great?" From the corner of his eye Edd could see her smiling as she cut the food, Kevin was the opposite however. He had gone silent and stood as still as a statue, his knuckles turning white at the sheer force of his grip on the plates. Forcing himself to smile he tried not to show the anger in his voice.

"Yep, sounds fantastic." Walking back to the cabinet he grabbed another plate and closed the cabinet with a thud, passing Edd he walked to the dining room. Opening a few drawers Edd found the one with the silver ware and joined Kevin, he was walking around the table with a scowl as he placed the plates down sharply. Sighing Edd set the silverware down in a pile and walked around the table to where Kevin stood, scowling down at the plate. Wrapping his arms around the ginger's waist Edd buried his face in his chest and breathed in the smell of Kevin, shifting so he was looking up he saw Kevin looking down at him with a mixture of sorrow and love in his eyes.

"Who's mitch?" Exhaling through his nose Kevin closed his eyes and reopened them, wrapping his arms around Edd's thin waist he responded.

"Mitch is a guy who works with my mom, he thought it was a good idea to ask her out even though she has a son who's seventeen. They've been going out for maybe a month now." Raising an eyebrow Edd shook his head.

"I still don't understand the problem here?"

"Ever since my dad left she's been an emotional wreck, even if he was an abusive asshole, if this guy leaves her then I don't know how much pain she can sustain." Smiling slightly Edd buried his face back in the jock's chest, he really cares about her.

Dinner had been going well. Mitch was a tall man with dirty blonde hair and bright blue eyes, he had a slight beard that was growing in and along with a black button up shirt and khakis he looked nice. Halfway through the dinner though things got a bit heated.

"So Edd, how long have you and Kevin been together?" Looking up from the bite of vegetables Edd cleared his throat.

"Well I would say about three months." Kevin nodded his head as he chewed on a bite of lasagna.

"That's good." The rest of dinner was filled with pleasant conversation, when everyone had finished there food Edd volunteered to take the dirty plates to the sink. As he did this Kevin's mother picked up a pie she had made and carried it to the table while Kevin got the plates and silverware, as they returned to the table Mitch took the knife and cut even slices, passing one out to everybody before setting one on a plate for himself. The pie was delicious in Eddward's opinion, it was an apple pie that wasn't too warm nor too cold and seemed to just melt in your mouth. As everyone was finishing up Mitch set his fork down and cleared his throat, looking up Kevin and Edd gave each other a curious look, reaching over he grasped Kevin's mother's hand and smiled at the boys.

"We decided that while you are both here, since Edd is a big part of your life Kevin, that we should share this news with the both of you. Me and Charlotte have decided to get married." Positively beaming Kevin's mother showed us her left hand which held a beautiful diamond ring on the ring finger, how had Edd missed this?

I plan on writing more this weekend, again I apologize that I haven't wrote in a while:( Like i've mentioned I have no internet so it's a struggle but I can still answer reviews:) I will post more chapters tomorrow but think about this, when I write the R! Kevedd I thought about a reverse Edd and normal Kevin, thoughts? Also someone asked if I was going to publish this and it made me think, could I? I'm fairly new to this and if you don't know I'm under 18 so really I have no clue how I would get that done:/ But it is definitely something I would like to do. Another thing, should I have Hiccup and Jack dating already in the hijack fic or no? So I would like reviews because I need advice for everything I just mentioned, it would help alot if you could or if you want just PM me whatever works for you:)
