A few days had passed and everyone in town knew that Bella Swan had fallen off a cliff and drowns in the ocean.

Well, that was the cover up story. Bella was alive, as a vampire and ready to start her new life.

It had played out that Alice Cullen had gone looking for Bella, who had been hiking in the woods, and Bella had stumbled off the edge of the cliff, Alice found her and called Carlisle, she was taken to the hospital but it was too late. Of course Carlisle, being a doctor at the hospital managed to sort everything out, the death certificate, the body, etc.

It was horrible news to everyone in town. Bella watched as her father discovered the news, watched how he sobbed like a child and collapsed to the floor, with Sue, crying at his side although she knew the truth. She had expected it to be bad but as bad as this? No way.

He went numb for a few days, while arranging the funeral and all, but of course he cried when he was alone. Her friends found out, Angela seemed most hurt, but Jessica seemed to be strangely hurt by this news, as if the two were just as good friends as she and Angela were. Mike of course was heartbroken, as was Eric, and others she knew. It was so hard for her to stay still during the funeral, listening to the sobs.

Her mother and Phil came over for the funeral, Bella almost got up and ran to hold her mother when she arrived, and she had to be held back by Alice and Rosalie. It was so difficult for her. Edward squeezed Jacob's hand and closed his eyes as he listened to Bella sobbing. But it was her choice and every time they asked what she wanted, she told them it was for the best but it was just so hard.

They didn't stay for the full funeral. The Cullen's did but Bella couldn't stand watching from a distance as her family and friends stared at the empty coffin, watching it lowered into the ground. Alice eventually took Bella home, where later on that day, the rest of the Cullen family returned.

"How are you?" Esme asked Bella.

"I'm okay. Just seeing them like that though it was..."

"I know." Esme replied, rubbing her back.

"We have two days left in forks, during this time I'll hand in my résumé, and drop you out of school." Carlisle said to the other Cullen's. "Then we'll leave,"

"I'm sorry," Bella said. "If I hadn't forced you to turn me you wouldn't have to leave,"

"Don't be sorry, Bella." Carlisle said. "We love Forks, but after everything, I think a fresh start will be best for us all."

And it was good for them.

One month later.

A month had passed, and the Cullen's no longer lived in Forks.

They lived in a town called Lake Cowichen, Washington.

A beautiful small town much likes their beloved Forks which was probably one of the reasons they decided to stay. The Forests were huge, surrounded a beautiful lake. The Cullen's and Bella all lived there; they stayed in a three story Cabin, which Esme happily redecorated. The Hunting area was much more exciting than Forks ever was, and over time. Bella eventually learned to control her thirst properly.

Jacob and Edward, who had been staying in a cabin of their own for a little while, came over for a visit when Bella walked into the room and said something that took them all by surprise.

"I'm leaving,"

They all stared at her, a little bewildered for a moment before she sat down.

"You're leaving?" Rosalie asked. Bella nodded.

"Why?" Esme asked her voice breaking.

"It's not because I don't want to be with you, I love you all." Bella said, taking Esme's hands in her own. "But I became a vampire for a fresh start, and at first it was easier, I was happier. But now I am constantly reminded of things I don't want to think about." She glanced at Edward and Jacob, who shifted closer together.

"So I'm going to go, leave. Start my life properly, don't worry I won't go too far, I will come back to visit."

"You're really going?" Edward asked standing and taking her hands.

"I want to explore, see the world. Hey I know with everything that's happened it's probably wise to settle down. But here I can't. I have to go see new things, experience new things."

Ten minutes later Bella was packed and stood outside the house, looking at the wall of trees. The Cullen's and Jacob all stood looking at her, most of them crying, other's trying to hold it in. Edward turned to Jacob and kissed him before looking back at Bella.

"You'll visit soon?" Esme cried as she and Bella hugged.

"Of course." Bella laughed, crying a little herself.

"I miss you already." Alice cried, squeezing Bella tight,

"You too. You too." Bella said.

Bella then turned to Edward and Jacob.

"What do I say?" She laughed, she walked forward and ran her fingers around Edward's neck, and she pulled him close and hugged him tightly. She kissed him in the cheek then turned back.

"Bella..."

"Don't." She whispered. "Just let it be. But you need to know..." she said. "I will always love you. Always." and then she kissed him on the lips one last time before turning to Jacob who was sobbing like a baby.

"Bells." he said.

"Jake." she smiled, they hugged,

"Don't stay away long."

"I won't" she replied, before kissing him one last time and then she turned and walked to the forest. A crying Jacob turned and Edward wrapped his arms comfortingly around his stomach and rested his head on Jacob's shoulder.

"Be happy." Bella said and the two of them watched as Bella waved goodbye, then shot off into the forest and on her way to her new life.

"She is happy." Alice said, walking to them as the other's walked back to the cabin. "She has already forgiven you, but she does want to explore, and she will return. I've seen it." Alice said, and she skipped over to Jasper.

"She's happy," Jake said.

"About time we should be too."

"How are we going to do that?" Jake asked.

"I've got a pretty good idea," Edward muttered before wrapping his lips around Jakes own and his hand caressed the bulge in Jacob's jeans.

"I like you're thinking," and the two laughed as they walked off together.
