Chapter 25-Omni world

The gigantic explosion must have attracted their attention so they must have already known, we wouldn't be able to surprise them now. As we were flying, Kiera holds my hand and I looked at her.

'I still can't thank you enough, we could have died there.' Said Kiera.

'No it's alright, I am thankful for you giving me a lot too.' I said.

She smiles, and we looked ahead we saw Vorshea with Tharkesh returning.

'There, now prepare yourself.' I said.

Kiera nods and powers up while flying, she glowed a bright cyan she was using what she called Dire Alpha, I didn't know that technique had such high strength multiplier. Her power could be felt just beside me and it felt really strong.

The Wight duo approached slowly, they seemed ticked that they couldn't finish us off.

We came close to each other and met face-to-face once again.

'So you won't quit…' Said Tharkesh.

I stared right at his face while frowning.

'I'll finish you myself…' Said Tharkesh.

Tharkesh flies off Vorshea's shoulder and we descend vertically down to the ground.

'Vorshea! Stay back.' Commanded Tharkesh.

Upon his command, Vorshea backs off a fair distance.

I drew my blade ready to battle again.

'Come let's see what you got.' Said Tharkesh.

I looked at Kiera and nodded and she began firing arrows rapidly at Tharkesh but he stood his ground and deflected a number of them. He seemed to have taken some damage after Kiera raised her power, while I stood in a stance and continued raising my own power. I bellowed softly while bio-electrical currents swirled around me, the ground cracked slightly as well and that was when Tharkesh's attention turned towards me.

Tharkesh rushes towards us and I ducked under his thrust attack and wrapped my arms around his waist, and with a forceful takedown Tharkesh was floored and I jumped in the air to blast a chain lightning from the tip of my blade. The lightning hit him and caused an explosion, dust clouds masked his body but I sensed he was still there. Without a doubt he bursts out from the clouds and let out a ground-shaking thunderous roar which alerted us.

'Ugh…much stronger…' Mumbled Tharkesh.

He flies up back to Vorshea's shoulder and we went after him, as we came into close range with Vorshea he grabs us and tosses us onto his back. We landed with a loud thud and when we got up Tharkesh stood right in front of us, then Vorshea stepped into the river with a streamlined position allowing us to battle on his back. Vorshea swims along the river while we faced Tharkesh, the tensions grew slightly as the atmosphere was different.

Then I glanced around to see that there was a sharp rocky arch ahead which gave me an idea.

When Tharkesh started using energy blast at us, we ducked and rushed towards Vorshea's head.

'You dare run away?!' Screamed Tharkesh.

Tharkesh was hot in pursuit of us but we arrived at Vorshea's head and we stopped running. The rocky arch was coming up ahead, I quickly stretched my bringer arm and dug my claws deep into Vorshea's flesh which made him yell in pain. Vorshea slows down and started shaking, I used all my might to pull Vorshea towards the sharp end of the arch.

'Audacious!' Yelled Tharkesh as he lunges towards Kiera.

Kiera ducks out of the way and from behind she grabs Tharkesh by the arms and flies in the air, she flew towards the arch and tossed him towards it. Tharkesh's head hits the arch and he was knocked out cold, then I finished it with a quick shocking lightning bolt. He falls into the lava river and his body sunk to the bottom of the river never to be seen. Then Kiera came beside me and aided me in pulling Vorshea towards the sharp arch, we managed to pull him till his neck gets impaled by the arch and his Wight blood spills into the lava river, we pull even more causing him to get decapitated. Then I jump into the air and spread my arms out to unleash a huge Storm-Rage attack which shocks his entire body. His body sunk as well leaving a large patch of blood stained along the segment of the valley.

I reverted back to normal, taking away the stress that the transformation had put on my body I could feel much more relaxed and sat down on the ground.

'Did we do it?' Asked Kiera.

I looked at the river and I could feel Tharkesh was unconscious down there.

'He's still there, but he won't be back anytime soon.' I said.

'We better get outta here.' Said Kiera as she pulled me up by the arm.

'Yeah we need to find everyone.' I said.

We took off sprinting towards the direction where everyone went.

-Arias' P.O.V-

I was sitting at the meeting room table with the elders, my brother and Kage's team. We were called in as we heard that there was a task waiting for us to complete. I knew the moment I stepped in I wouldn't like this session as Kage's team was in the corner and most probably up to mischief.

'Listen up everyone, there has been revenant activity in an out-casted village to the south.' Said King Blazerdon.

I overheard Kage with my superb hearing…

'Just skip the unnecessary goddamn shit already.' Whispered Kage.

I turned around to look at Kage and he points a middle finger at me, I frowned and looked away.

'It's called The Rune Sacrament, someone needs to go there and find out what's going on.' Said King Blazerdon.

I looked at my brother and we nodded.

'We can go.' Suggested Sven.

'Alright then this task is yours to complete, Bobcat and Sven.' Said King Blazerdon.

'Oh it has to be little Bobby-kitty and macho man on this job, you didn't even allow anyone else to try?' Said Kage arrogantly.

'Shut the hell up Kage.' I said loudly.

'What was that?!' Exclaimed Kage.

Everyone looked at us.

'I think this isn't the best time.' Whispered Sven.

'I'm not letting them bully anyone around here.' I said.

'That's enough you all.' Said King Blazerdon.

Mom and Dad walked over to us and gestured for us to go outside.

'I know they're bullies throwing their weight around but just try to let them off, gods really cannot wage war on each other.' Said Dad.

'It's alright boys, you should run along you have a task to do.' Said Mom.

'Yeah let's go.' Said Sven.

We took to the skies and flew towards the south, where our hunt begins.

We soared in the air and we could see all the beautiful buildings in the cities, then as we left the boundaries of the provinces, we came across lush green grass fields as we went deeper into the wilderness. Then we sensed some sort of revenant aura which was up ahead and we darted towards it.

We saw a village up ahead with its outer walls made of some shiny brass-colored material, the gate had a large sign stating in cyan text 'The Rune Sacrament Village' with that we knew that this was the place we were looking for. When we took a peek inside we were surprised to see the place being inhabited by giants, the people there stood around 6'6-8'0.

'Gosh they all look very tall.' I said.

'Indeed.' Said Sven.

'Now how are we going to start?' I asked.

'Umm…We better pin-point the aura and zero in on it.' Said Sven.

The aura was still faint, it must be still masked so we had to search carefully, without triggering any of these giants…

'The aura is being masked, it's not easy to find it without going in.' I said.

'Good point.' Said Sven.

'I know why not we just go in and ask around?' I said with a cheeky smile.

'No, that's a bad idea you've seen how large those people are.' Said Sven.

'Nah it be fine, we're gods after all.' I said.

'Against a big village…full of giants.' Said Sven.

'I don't even know why you're worried, I took down our fiercest enemies and this will be okay for us.' I said and walked towards the gate.

'Wait!' Exclaimed Sven as he caught my arm.

'What's the matter now?' I asked.

'I think I'm going in too.' Said Sven.

We walked side by side and enter together through the gate, as we entered we were greeted by everyone as they stopped whatever they were doing and stared at us. The hustle and bustle suddenly turned into a silent town of giants staring silent at us.

'Hello.' I greeted.

The villagers looked at each other awkwardly and then looked at us again.

'I hope we made the right choice.' Whispered Sven.

Then we saw a tall armored soldier walking towards us, he was in full armor that was black and studded, he had a sword belted to his waist.

'Who are you? Why are you here you little children?' Asked the guard.

'Gods of the BladeRealm, we're to look for a revenant aura hiding around here somewhere.' Said Sven.

'Gods? Really, now why not you prove it to us?' Said the guard.

'Sure thing.' Said Sven.

Sven did a stance, clenched his fists, his hair turned into blazing flames and burning fires appeared in his eyes, the ground shook slightly, the clouds gathered in the sky which caught many people's attention. Sven began bellowing as he unleashed his power, everyone started looking frantic but I just stood beside him with arms folded.

'Okay, okay! That's enough.' Said the guard.

With that, Sven powers down.

'Good.' I said.

'So can we look around now?' Asked Sven.

'Yes sure! Do as you please, the village is yours to explore.' Said the guard frantically.

The guard just runs off to where he came from.

'That was quick.' I said.

'Let's begin looking around.' Said Sven.

We flew just above the ground and hovered all over the place, the people seemed somewhat frightened when we came close to any of them.

'They look so scared.' I said.

'How ironic.' Said Sven.

And Sven was afraid of them at first, now it's the opposite, bizarre enough.

Soon we were approached by the village chief which was an old man in black robes, he looked around 60, he stood at least 6'6, and he had pale yellow eyes and long silver hair.

'So you must be our guests?' Said the chief.

'Yes, nice to meet ya.' I greeted.

'Greetings, I heard you were hunting some sort of revenant?' Asked the chief.

'We sense it around here but we can't find it.' Said Sven.

'Hmm, I think I can help, I will go and appoint some of my troops to look for it as well.' Said the chief.

'Right thanks, chief.' Said Sven.

'Oh don't thank me, you gods deserve it. Our village was once saved by a flame god couple.' Said the chief.

'That must be Mom and Dad.' Said Sven.

'Oh I cannot thank them enough, I think I'll go for now.' Said the chief.

'See ya.' I said.

We explored a few houses and we came across one with a wedding, we were intrigued so we hovered over it. There was a wedding ceremony decorated brilliantly, but I could see something wrong with the couple. The Bride didn't look happy at all, the Groom had an extremely sinister grin on his face, what's freakish was that the revenant aura came directly from the Groom.

'You feel that?' I asked Sven.

'Definitely.' Said Sven.

We swooped towards the wedding ceremony.

'Who invited these outsiders here?' Asked the Groom angrily.

'These are the gods what are you talking about?!' Scolded the priest.

Both Bride and Groom looked almost 7' tall, in their 20s, the Bride was a beautiful lady in a long white gown, the Groom was an evil man in a white suit. The Bride had long light brown hair and purple eyes while the Groom had short black hair but strangely had one red eye and one black eye.

The Groom looked at the priest angrily and punched him in the face making him fall flat on the ground. Everyone was shocked by his actions and the Bride pulled him by the arm.

'What are you doing?! You've been acting crazy lately!' Exclaimed the Bride.

'Don't question me!' Scolded the Groom as he pulled his arm away violently.

We walked towards them, the crowd seemed extremely terrified of what was going on.

'What are you such a bully?' I asked.

'Step aside kid before we hurt someone.' Said the Groom.

'Leave them out of this, Johan.' Hollered the Bride.

'Shut up Brooke.' Said Johan as stated by Brooke.

'Why are you bullying your own wife?' I asked.

Johan looked at my angrily and grabbed me by the collar but Sven quickly bashes his hand away.

'You little scum!' Uttered Johan.

Johan tore his jacket of revealing the black undershirt and shot a red magic bolt at us, Sven jumped in front and absorbed the blast with ease.

'Revenant magic I knew it!' Shouted Sven.

'It's him! Looks like we found what we came for.' I said.

'What's going on?' Asked Brooke, confused of what's going on.

'Basically, your husband is the revenant we came here for.' I said.

'Fools, I won't bother fighting you.' Uttered Johan as he grabbed Brooke and raced off back into the room.

We pursued him and pounded on the door, it was locked tightly shut. Sven gestured for me to stand back and he burned the door into bits with a blast of fire magic. We scanned the area and we sensed him doing 'something' in the bedroom so I drew my flaming sword, Reignbringer, and slashed the door burning it down to the ground. The first thing we saw was Johan torturing Brooke on the bed, tearing her clothes and beating her, Sven valiantly charges forward and grabs him by the waist and performed a German suplex, tossing Johan to the wardrobe. I walked over to Brooke and rubbed my hands together speedily and put my hands facing her and created a red jacket with magic to cloak her.

Sven grabs Brooke and flies outside quickly, that was when I locked onto Johan and threw a huge barrage of flaming bolts at him before following my brother.

Sven puts her down in a corner and I arrived on the scene.

'Look after her here.' Said Sven.

'Yeah sure.' I said.

Johan quickly came bursting out from the house and growled at us.

'Okay now you're going down.' Said Sven.

Sven powers up using fire god spell and Johan glares at him seething angrily.

Johan thrusts towards Sven suddenly and Sven just stood his ground and caught the punch Johan threw at him, Johan was shocked by Sven's uncanny strength. Sven places his palm right in front of Johan's face, suddenly a huge flaming wave blasts Johan in the face which vaporized him.

'Someone doesn't like screwing around.' I said.

Sven turns around slowly and walks back towards us.

'You alright now Brooke?' Asked Sven.

'Yes, I'm okay thank you for saving me.' Said Brooke.

Sven held out his hand for Brooke to grab and she did so, Sven politely helps her up.

'You need proper clothes now.' Said Sven as he pointed his index finger at Brooke and waved it around.

A mysterious glow surrounds Brooke for a few seconds and the light slowly faded, it was revealed that Brooke was now wearing a purple robe top and pants.

'Wow thanks how did you do that?' Asked Brooke as she seemed amazed.

'Uh…magic, really.' Said Sven.

Brooke just giggles slightly at Sven.

'Well looks like our job here is done, let's go man.' I said as I flew straight up.

'Nice meeting you, Brooke. Goodbye.' Said Sven as he followed suit.

'Goodbye, thanks again.' Said Brooke as she waved to us.

We took off back towards home, it was evening, the golden searing sun could be seen setting slowly on the horizon and it looked beautiful.

Suddenly I felt something strange so I turned around and saw Brooke following us!

'What the…why is Brooke following us?' I asked.

Sven stopped suddenly and turned around, as soon as he saw Brooke again his eyes lit up. Brooke quickly caught up with us, something I was unaware of was that she could also fly.

'Hey Brooke, why are you following us still?' Asked Sven.

'Well…I was wondering.' Said Brooke hesitantly.

We looked at her waiting for her answer, she was looking down shyly.

'If I can follow you guys?' Asked Brooke.

We were intrigued as we looked at each other.

'Do you guys mind?' Asked Brooke.

'But why do you want to come?' Asked Sven.

Brooke keeps quiet for a few seconds.

'I don't really like my village anymore, there aren't many people I can trust. But you seem like someone I can trust.' Said Brooke.

'Welcome aboard.' I said.

'Welcome.' Said Sven.

'Oh thank you guys!' Said Brooke as she jumped for joy.

-Kaitlin's P.O.V-

I slowly opened my eyes and I was surprised as I was staring right at a golden sky, I sat up quickly and looked around. Akira was lying down beside me still unconscious, there was a portal right above which must be where we came from. I still could feel the pain from the injuries I had sustained from the previous attack, when I tried getting up I felt a sharp pain on the left side of my abdomen and I knew I probably broke a rib. I held my hand over my injury and tried to get Akira to get up, I tried shaking him but he showed no response.

'Akira?' I said as I continuously tried to wake him up.

Suddenly, Akira just shot up from the ground and hit me in the left rib.

'Ouch! Akira that was my injury!' I said.

'Oh what? Oh I'm sorry.' Said Akira while he scratched his head.

'Its fine, any idea where we are?' I asked.

'Well sis, if you don't know then I don't know.' Said Akira.

'We are so screwed.' I said.

'Its fine just follow my lead.' Said Akira.

As soon as Akira took a step, he stopped.

'Why are you stopping?' I asked curiously.

Akira falls down on his back while holding his ankle in pain.

'My ankle snapped as soon as I took that one step!' Cried Akira.

'Oh god…' I said.

I limped over to him and helped him up as I slung his arm over my shoulder, we slowly walked towards the horizon in hopes of finding help.
