Move Along

Chapter 25

I was released from the hospital a week later.

Carlisle was concerned with the concussion and the cut in my leg. Edward brought Kaitlin to see me every day and for that I was grateful.

Our moms were planning our wedding, but we would have to wait almost a month, only because I decided I didn't want all the marks on my face.

I'd found a nice simple cream colored column dress to wear, just in case I still had my stitches or a bandage.

Edward is going to wear a pair of khaki pants and a white button shirt.

We were getting married at Edward's parent's house, we'd wanted it outside, but it was supposed to rain, so we opted for inside, which would be just as beautiful.

Edward had bought a beautiful home right in between our parents. It was about 10 minutes to either one and Kaitlin would have a nice yard to play in and plenty of room for our family to grow.

I'd already talked to Edward and he agreed he wanted more, so the house he bought was five bedrooms, four and a half baths formal living and dining rooms and a kitchen to die for.

Riley was sad we were going, but knew we were close as well. He was keeping the house and looking for his Mrs. Right.

"Sis, I'm so glad you're OK and happy." He hugged me close as we packed up mine and Kaitlin's things.

"Me too. I can't believe it's come full circle. I've been through hell and back and I've managed to keep my head up and keep going." I smiled.

"That you have. And I couldn't be happier for you." He smiled as he taped up the boxes.

"Hello?" Edward was off work and here to help.

"Upstairs!" Riley yelled.

"Hey babe." Edward leaned down and kissed me.

"Hey. How was work?" I asked.

"Too long without seeing you." He hugged me tight.

"Ugh! You two need to get a room. I'm taking these boxes to my truck." Riley shook his head.

"I've missed you too." I leaned on his chest.

"Then let's get this stuff packed and get ready to marry this weekend and we can be together, forever." He whispered in my ear.

Today was the big day.

I was with my mom and Esme getting dressed.

"Bella, you're so beautiful. Edward is going to love seeing you in this." Esme smiled at me.

"Thank you Esme and thank you for helping my mom take care of Kaitlin for the weekend so we can go away. You've done so much over the past few months, I don't know how to ever thank you or repay you." I cried.

"Don't you even think about it! You just love my son and Kaitlin and any other grandbabies you may give us. That's all the thanks we need." Esme and my mom hugged me.

"It's time." My dad poked his head in a little while later.

"You look beautiful, I don't think I can let you go. You're still my baby." He hugged me tightly and we heard the music start.

My dad handed me off to a teary eyed Edward and we recited our vows, were announced husband and wife and had the party and honeymoon of a lifetime.

Although our honeymoon was only a weekend, at the Cullen's beach house in California it was perfect. Edward and I stayed in bed and made love all weekend, the first time since we'd been separated all those years ago and it was definitely better. Edward had become a tender and patient lover, making sure I was well satisfied before he even thought of being.

"So, do you think we made a honeymoon baby?" Edward asked excitedly.

"It's possible. I never took birth control after Kaitlin, didn't think I'd need it with…" I let it drop and Edward kissed me.

"I hope we did! I'd love to start filling up our house and the children would be so close." Edward smiled.

"Me too. I'd be so happy." He attacked me with kisses before sighing and looking at the clock.

"We've got to shower so we can make the plane." He kissed my neck.

"Have time for one more shower marathon?" I asked.

"Always!" he picked me up and carried me into the shower.
