I just wanted to thank everyone who's been reviewing/faving/alterting/what have you this story and for your continued support and understanding when my real life gets in the way and to explain a couple things.
First off, I'd really like to thank esdiferente for helping me way back in October when my life really just went to shit, and darthcaiter for putting up with me freaking out for no reason without complaint, despite the fact that she doesn't know me all that well, nor I her.
Secondly, my dad told me the other day that my step-mom is in the hospital again. Earlier today my little sister called me and told me that she'd been moved to ICU. My dad called as well and explained that the cancer is covering 50% of her one lung and she can't breathe on her own anymore, and that it's also spread all through her body. He also told me that if this round of chemo that they just started doesn't work she probably won't be leaving, and that she'll only have a week or so left. Obviously this is affecting my ability to write which means longer times between updates. I'm by no means going to stop writing or posting this story, but I may have to take an actual official hiatus for a while depending on how things go.
Thirdly, I hope everyone had a happy Christmas or whatever other holiday or lack-there-of you celebrate and I hope you all have a great New Years. You're all lovely.
