It was a plan.

But it wasn't a good plan.

'I have no idea how to use this weapon!' Kagome thought as her fingers tightened around Mjölnir's handle until it almost hurt, 'But I need to stop that thing!'

"Cat, what the hell are you doing!?" Barton shouted out in alarm when she began to follow the large suit of armour, "Do you even know what you're doing?!"

"Not a clue!" Kagome answered back, "But it looks like I'm the only one who can do something at this moment!" Her eyes quickly glanced down to observe Mjölnir and saw there was a leather strap hanging at the bottom of the handle, 'Maybe I can use it like Kohaku-kun's kusarigama!'

She grabbed the strap and began to swing Mjölnir until it was almost a blur to her own eyes, 'Well, here goes nothing!' Kagome thought, and much to her surprise, electrical energy began to spark off the hammer.

Something in her was urging her throw Mjölnir towards the attacking armour, 'I hope this works!' Kagome thought, hurling the weapon with all her strength and was just as shocked as everyone else as it easily knocked the enemy over face-first with a flash of fiery sparks.

"Did that just happen?"

Kagome vaguely heard Barton's voice behind her, though she was more focused on Mjölnir, which was actually rebounding towards her with an amazing speed, 'It's like Hiraikotsu!'

Catching Mjölnir was no easy feat and she was dragged back a few feet with the force of its return, despite digging her feet into the dusty ground.

"I see you have more to explain," Coulson stepped up behind her and she didn't even bother to glance at him and instead kept her eyes focused on the armour at all times, "It seems like you do know how to use that hammer."

"Honestly, I don't," Kagome quietly admitted, not releasing Mjölnir, even as the electricity seemed to surge to a higher voltage because it wasn't harming her in the very least, "It's like... its telling me what to do."

Barton raised a brow, but didn't let the question linger for long when the suit of armour got back up to its feet. He frowned when it seemed to ignore them and once again, tried to head for the little town.

'It has to be Thor it is after,' Kagome thought grimly and pointed Mjölnir towards her metal opponent, 'Please, guide me, Meallnear!'

And the blazing lightning struck.
