Ever wondered why almost in every arc, Lucy is always drawn to a situation where it leads to Zeref? Like Lullaby, Deliora, The Tower of Heaven, Infinity Clock and Nirvana. Well, Let's just say that...It's because Lucy has a little something that belongs to Zeref.

25. AN: I REWROTE THE STORY PLS READ

Apologies for the year late updates. I was actually too immensed in the story planning that I forgot the real plot of the story, after taking a year break, I feel rejuvenated. I wanted to tell everyone reading this 'thank you for your utmost support to this story despite its unofficial hiatus'. All your follows, favorites, and reviews- I appreciate them all. Even the silent readers.

So anyways, I had been trying to write throughout the year when I realized that Lucy and Zeref's relationship seemed a bit bland. Like... what? Lucy loved her savior and that was it?! So to conquer my writer's block I had to write and insert extra ZerCy fluff to make their relationship realistic. These are my recent updates. AS YOU CAN SEE, I UPDATED THE STORY. HOWEVER, THE NEW CHAPTERS AREN'T THE LATEST ONES- BUT CHAPTERS 10-14. These are the newest chapters.

The plan, in simple terms, was that I inserted a very important part in the middle of the story. Then I tweaked some details from the original storyline to help the new chapters fit and slowly but surely, the new chapters had gone back to the original storyline before you knew it... but with a few differences due to the changing of details.

But I have also updated the rest of the story. I have rewritten and rweaked some of the important details of each chapter to fit a better story I am imagining that would lead to greater results. So yes, if you have time, please reread the story from the beginning and forget what you had known so far. I don't think it would be that hard since the hiatus took a year, and you all must have forgotten what was even happening in this story.

Or if you are too lazy, you can just skip to Chapters 10-14 then go back to the latest update (THE REAL ONE), Chapter 24 which will be posted after this lengthy Author's Note.

Chapter 24 will be the beginning of the second and final arc. I would hope to update every weak, same day and time. This I swear.
