"How are you doing, Kathryn?"

My heart was beating a mile a minute as I stared into those lifeless eyes. The last time I saw him was when I was 22 years old and Jax had finally found where I was. Nico made me feel like a worthless person, doing such vile things that I wouldn't wish on anyone. "How's Jackson doing?" He continued to smile as I just stood there frozen. Rat must have caught on since he placed himself beside me. "Everything okay?" He muttered into my ear. My eyes stayed connected with Nico's as I shook my head. "How about we just go somewhere else?" He suggested after seeing how I was reacting. Nico let out a laugh before leaning against his car, crossing his arms against his chest. "You might as well call Jax now because I already know you're going too." He somewhat shouted. "He might come if he isn't busy fucking someone other than you-" He shoved himself off the car and was now standing directly in front of me. "Isn't that right, Kathryn." My mind was telling me to just reach into my bag and pull out the gun that I had stashed in there and blow him to pieces, but the only thing I could do was coward below him.

"I advise you to get the hell away from us before you end up in a body bag." Rat told him as he pushed me behind him body in a protective manner. All Nico could do was laugh as he glared at me one last time and got back inside his fancy car. It wasn't until he drove out of the parking lot that I could finally catch my breath. "Who was that guy?" Rat asked as I shakily got back into the vehicle. Instead of answering his question, I told him to call Jax. He immediately jumped on his phone and after the second ring, Jax finally picked up. They talked for a few minutes but I could hear Jax's voice grow louder and more harsh as the conversation went on. After a few minutes of talking, Rat hung up the phone and I already knew where we were headed. I don't know whether or not Jax knew that Nico was back in town or if he just popped up out of nowhere, but I did not like the fact that he was able to find out where I was. If he was able to find me at some rinky-dink restaurant, then he would be able to find me anywhere I went.

It took less than normal time for us to get back to the clubhouse. Jax's bike was parked in its usual spot, along with the others. The only thing that was missing was Gemma's Escalade but she was probably still at the cabin, not having any ideal what had happened earlier. I haven't talked to Jax since last night when he decided to freak out over nothing so I wasn't really looking forward to talking to him right now. I slowly removed myself from the car and walked the short distance to the clubhouse, before entering from the side door. I could hear the guys talking about something but that all stopped when I came into view. "Oh thank God." Jax announced as he jumped up from his seat and engulfed me in his arms. "Are you okay?" I just nodded my head before taking the seat he was occupying. "What the hell happened, Rat?" He screamed as he turned his attention to George. "It wasn't his fault, Jax." I tried my best to remain calm. I didn't like how he was blaming this whole situation on Rat. "George had nothing to do with Nico finding me." Jax looked between Rat and I before running his hand through his slicked back hair. "I need to talk to my wife in private." Everyone looked at one another before leaving the room and heading outside. I don't know why he couldn't just bring me into church but I didn't bother questioning it much.

"I need to get you and the kids away from all this before the shit starts hitting the fan again." I could tell that the news of Nico being back was not something he wanted to hear. The last time he dealt with Nico almost led to the both of them getting killed, let alone getting Jax seriously wounded. "Allowing Nico to find you means that he's going to keep coming for you until he gets what he wants." I let out a sigh as I rubbed the my growing baby bump. "I know this isn't what you want to hear but I have to get you and Grace out of here before something does happen." I instantly started shaking my head as I stood up. "No-" I began to yell out. "No, I am not leaving again and having to wonder when i'm going to be able to come back." I began to pace the room as Jax stayed seated with his head in his hands. "I am not going to have my daughter ask me why her father didn't come with us and i'm not going to worry about you being killed or hurt when i'm not around." I was in complete tears at this point. Between the pregnancy hormones and my emotions, I wouldn't be surprised if I flooded this whole room with all the tears I felt like shedding. "Kathryn, I am doing everything in my power to keep everyone safe but I can't do that if you don't follow the rules. How many times have we been through this?" I rolled my eyes as he stood up and walked towards me. "Kate, baby, I have to do what's best. If you and Grace stay in Charming, the odds of something happening to either of you go up even more since Nico's back-" He grabbed my hand in his, bringing it up to his lips. "I promise that this will be the last time that I send you away, sweetheart." All I could do was nod my head but I was going to make sure that I did something about the situation before he had a chance to send me away.

Jax's POV

"I figured that the bastard would have stayed away after what happened last time he was in town." Bobby stated as the guys crowded into the chapel. "We should have killed him when we had a chance." I just continued to smoke as I tried to decipher what exactly I had to do for my family. "I vote that we cut him to shreds and then feed him to his family members." Happy interjected with a twisted grin. I just shook my head before going back to thinking of my own plans. I had to get Grace and Kate out of the state before the end of the week but I had no place to put them. Kozik went off to Ireland for something and none of the other charters wanted anything to do with her after hearing about her little gun happy episode. The only place I could send her was back to Massachusetts but that wasn't going to work either. There was no way she was going to go back to her parent's house. "What are we going to do, Jackie?" I heard Chibs ask from beside me. "We need to get rid of this asshole before he hurts Kate or even Gracie." Every Time I thought about him coming up on Kate the way he did, my blood would start to boil. Everything that son of a bitch put Kate through, I would never even wish on my worst enemy. He made her suffer for weeks on end, telling her things that weren't true and making her go through a living hell. "What about Tyler; how do we not know that the two of them aren't working together." I had forgotten all about that asshole but if he knew better, he would not get in bed with a guy like Nico. The whole Torrino family were nothing but trouble with evil agendas. They were ruthless and conniving, making sure to make those around them suffer like no other. If Nico is anything like his father then he needs to realize that i'm not joking when I say that my face will be the last face he ever sees in his life.

"Do we have any info on him at all, like where he's living now or the crew he's hanging with." I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest. All the guys just shook there heads as I let out a frustrated sigh. "The last time he was in town, he was staying at his old man's place. It's a couple miles south of Charming but that's the only place he would be able to stay." I told the group as I pulled out a second cigarette. "Nicholas Sr. had a bar outside of Lodi when he was alive but i'm pretty sure that place got shut up when ol Nick died." Happy spoke up. "It was a little whole in the wall kind of place but beside's the house that's the only place I can think of." I jotted down the places that we had listed before looking up at the guys. "I want Rat and Happy to stake out the bar, while Bobby and Tig go to the house to see if any one is actually staying there. Chibs and I will check up on Tyler but I want Nico watched like a hawk."

Kate's POV

I layed awake that night thinking of all the things that I wanted to do to Nico. Every weapon I could think of was used in my dreams but nothing seemed to kill him. I would shoot his body full of holes but he was still be alive. I would use his body as a dart board but nothing would happen. It was like he was invincible and we were the ones that were destined to be hurt. "Your restless tonight." I was startled by Jax's sleep deprived voice. I looked down and saw him staring tiredly back up at me. "Is it the baby?" I just shook my head as he pulled himself into a sitting position. I reached over and turned the bedside lamp on before turning back to him. "I can't stop thinking about Nico. I can't stop thinking about all the things I want to do to him so that he hurts." I couldn't help but start to cry once again. "He's caused so much pain for us, Jackson but he always gets away." Jax wrapped his arm around me, pulling me into his bare chest. "I just want him to pay for everything he did." Jax placed a kiss on my scalp as he pulled me as close as he could. We stayed silent for a couple minutes before Jax let out a sigh. "I don't want you worrying about Nico. He's the club's problem and we're going to handle it." And with that, he placed a kiss on my forehead before reaching over and turning the light back off.

"So, you're not going to help me?"

Rat's face paled as I asked him the question. "I just need you to drive me over to where you all think he is and then we can leave." I tried my best to get him to cave but he kept repeating the same old saying. "You and I both know that isn't a good idea." I rolled my eyes and bit off another piece of my sandwich. "George, you and I both know that Nico is a terrible person. I'm sure Jax already filled you in on what went on and would be so proud of you if Nico died by your hands." I tried my best to smile but he kept giving me the look of horror. "Okay-" I pushed my plate out of the way and stood up. "If we don't get rid of Nico, Jax is going to send me away and this time I might not be able to come back. What happens if Jax get's hurt or even killed while i'm away. I don't think I would ever be able to live knowing that I wasn't there with him during that time." I could see that Rat was trying so hard to fight his emotions but he knew better than to say no to a pregnant woman. "I promise that I won't try anything or even get out of the car." He stayed silent for a couple seconds before letting out a regretful groan and picked up his car keys. I couldn't help but let out an excited squeal as grabbed my bag and followed him out the door. I knew that Rat knew the address to Nico's place since him and the guys had been on alert since finding out the other day. Also, there was no way Jax was going to find out since he ran off somewhere early this morning with Bobby and Chibs. The rest of the guys were out in Lodi for the day dealing with whatever they had to deal with. The entire ride was filled with the sound of Rat nervously tapping his fingers against the steering wheel. After hearing that annoying sound for the past 30 minutes, I finally snapped and yelled at him to stop, which he did of course. I could tell that he was out of his mind with nerves but I needed to do this one thing before I decided what my next move was going to be. I was 6 months pregnant but I wasn't going to stop my plan until I knew Nico was either dead or out of the country.

"Is this the place?" I asked once the car pulled to a stop in front of an abandoned house. This definitely wasn't the same place that Nico had dragged me to all those years ago. "Yep." Rat sighed as he put the car into park. I just stared up at the building before unbuckling my seatbelt and opened the car door. Before Rat even knew what was happening, I removed myself from the vehicle and started to cross the street. "Kate!" Rat harshly whispered, fumbling to get out of the car himself. "Kathryn!" I ignored his whispers as I continued to the staircase that led up to the home. I know that I promised Rat that I would stay in the car but he should know better than to listen to me by now. It's not like I was going to do anything, I just wanted to see if he was home or not. I wasn't planning on doing anything right at this moment.

When I finally did reach the house, I slowly crept around the yard and over to the window to see if I could see anything. It looked pretty empty but there were a few things in there that could mean someone was actually living there. A couple blankets and a pillow were folded on the couch, along with a filled ashtray lay on the coffee table. There were no lighting fixtures inside the room but maybe he didn't want any since that would bring attention towards the house. I decided to move on to the other side of the house and found another window that showed what looked like the kitchen. Unlike the living room, the kitchen was filled with furniture and kitchen appliances. I was trying to get a better look inside when I pushed too hard on the window, causing the whole thing to pop out and shatter to the floor. "Shit!" I heard Rat's voice exclaim from the top of the staircase. I looked over at him before sliding one leg over the side of the window seal and then sliding my other leg to join. I was now inside the house, stepping over the broken shards of glass as Rat just watched on from the now open window. "Quite fooling around, Kate." I knew that what I was doing was very risky but I just couldn't bring myself to leave. Parts of me just wanted Nico to arrive home and see me in his house. If that were to happen, all i'd have to do is pull out my gun and shoot him.

I rounded the corner and disappeared from Rat's view as I walked further into the house, following a hallway that housed bedrooms and a couple baths. I opened the last door at the end if the hall and was met with a sight that was truly shocking and horrendous. There were four TV monitors aligning the dark walls, along with surveillance photos of everyone Jax and I surrounded ourselves with. I walked over to one of the TVs, pressing the power button on, causing the room to brighten as a video started to play. Once the screen was bright enough to be legible, I noticed that it was separated into four different boxes that showed four different places that Jax and I frequented the most. Two of the boxes showed the chapel and bar of the clubhouse, while the other two showed the insides of Piney's cabin. "He's been watching us." I whispered as I paused for a second before turning on the other televisions. One by one, each TV showed different parts of the house and the clubhouse. Nico had cameras hidden all over the place and we knew nothing about it. It wasn't until I turned the very last TV on that I saw my worst nightmare staring me right in the face. The screen was no longer split into four squares but was now filled with my daughter's bedroom. I watched as she played with her toys, not suspecting anything was going on. I was slightly bothered that he was watching Jax and I but I was beyond upset that he had a camera in my daughter's room. He was watching her every move and doing God knows what while doing so. I become so enraged that I just began to destroy the place. I picked up a gold club that was hiding behind the door and just started smashing all the monitors and tearing everything off the walls. This man almost destroyed my life but he was in no way going to get to my daughter. I was in such a rage that I didn't see or hear Rat come into the room, removing the club out of my hand and practically dragging me out of the room. "What the hell is going on?" Chib's voice boomed throughout the house. "Rat, what the fu-" Chibs's voiced dropped off when he saw that Rat was with me instead of alone.

Jax's POV

"Yeah, that'll be fine. Thank you." I hung up my phone and placed the pen back down on the paper. I had been on the phone for the past 30 minutes trying to get a plane out of Charming so Kate and Grace could leave the country but it was becoming more stressful than I thought. I couldn't send them some place where we still had beef but I also couldn't send her anywhere in the US after her little incident with Tig & Kozik. "Jax?" I heard Bobby yell as he came through the front door. "In here." I yelled back as I lit a cigarette, letting the nicotine calm my nerves. Bobby appeared a couple seconds later with a look on his face that i've learned was not good at all. "What's going on?" I asked a bit confused. "Everything alright?" He let out a sigh as he leaned against his chair. "I just got a call from Unser; said he found Penelope on the side of the road. Looks as if her head had been bashed in and she was stripped of her clothes." It took me a minute to understand what he had just said. "Whoever did it carved SAMCRO'S symbol into her stomach." My head started to spin as his final words registered in my mind. "We got to get rid of this bastard before he comes after the girls, Jax." I just nodded my head as I ran my fingers through my hair. "He killed Penelope for a reason and if we don't get to him soon, Unser's going to find his own nieces laying in those ditches instead of townspeople.

I raised up from my seat and walked over to him, placing my arm over his shoulder. "I got this, brother." I assured him with a slight smile before taking my arm from around his shoulder. Bobby was like a father figure to Kate, doing anything in his power to make sure she was safe from harm. I guess he was doing something I should have been doing all along. All the guys had a soft spot for Kate and Grace but Bobby and Unser were the ones that cared for them the most. Unser was Kate's great uncle and Bobby was like a second father to her when Bradley split all those years ago. Maybe the safest place for Kate and Grace to be is somewhere with Bobby and Wayne. I would know that they were safe and sound, unlike how they would be with some other member or members. I would know that they would be in the same place I left them and not have to worry about Kate taking off again. I would be able to sleep at night knowing that my girls were being taken care of and not being terrorized by the psychos that come with this lifestyle. "Get ahold of Unser and tell him to meet us at my house in an hour."

"Jackson, this whole thing will be a shit storm if people find out about that girl." Unser said as he took a sip of his drink. As soon as the bastard walked through my door he instantly brought up the Penelope situation. It was a shame that Nico was the one to kill her but I was more worried about my wife and child at the moment. "Do you even know who did this in the first place?" I just nodded my head to his question. "Well who the hell was it?" He asked a little hostile. I looked over at Bobby and then back to him. "Nico Torinno." His face fell at the mention of that name. He was right there when I found Kate in that piece of shit house. He saw how badly he had fucked her up and how the whole thing affected her in the long run. "I thought he left the country?" I could sense the hostility in his voice. "You told me he left the fucking country, Jackson!" I watched as he raised from his seat, towering over me as I was still seating in mine. "He did leave but for some reason he's back in Charming." I tried my best to remain calm but I was failing miserably.

"I know the reason, the fucking reason is for your wife and daughter!" He moved away from the couch and started pacing the living room. "He came back because he wants Kate and Grace for himself. He wants to take away everything you took away from him and I believe he could do it this time, Jax." He muttered as he stopped pacing and walked over to where I was now standing. "If anything happens to my nieces, I will personally charge you myself and then I will make sure you rot in prison for the rest of your life."

A/N: Hey guys!

Sorry for the semi-long wait but I had a bit of writer's block but that's over and done with now :) So a lot of stuff happened in the chapter and I can't wait to hear what you guys have to say about it. First off, let's talk about Kate's confrontation with Nico? Do you all think Nico has actual feelings for Kate like Tyler might/might not have or is Nico just a scumbag that needs to be eliminated? How about Kate's decision to eliminate Nico herself and how she broke into his house and saw that he was watching her daughter….. Crazy right?! As the chapters go on, Kate's antics are going to get worse and even deadly at one point, so don't think she's going to stop now. How about Jax deciding that Bobby and Unser are the only ones that can keep his family safe. Do you think that he'll send Kate and Grace off with them or will Kate refuse like always? Last but not least, what about Penelope?!

So, I hate to harp about this since you guys are pretty good at commenting but i've noticed that i've only been getting maybe 2 or 3 comments per chapter and that kind of stinks :( I don't want to be the type of person that begs for comments but I love it when I hear what you all have to say and it keeps me motivated to keep updating! I understand that everyone is busy but just take a second after reading the update to tell me how it was; I greatly appreciate it and you guys are the best readers in the world. I hope you all have a great rest of the night and i'm gonna try to have the next update out sometime next week and I hope to have a new chapter of Love out by the weekend. I might even throw in the update of Shotgun Rider that i've been sitting on for a while :)
