Thresh and I agreed to chaperone Thresh's little sister middle school dance. It was adorable watching them. Guys and Girls just started to get into the whole dating and liking thing, henceforth why the boys all sauntered off in one corner and the girls stole a couple of glances to the guys gossiping. I knew the DJ would do nothing and I figured that the boys just needed a little kick start. I walk to the DJ table and grab the microphone.
"COME ON BOYS GRAB A GIRL AND DANCE!" I shout turning on one of my favourite songs, dragging Thresh onto the dance floor. He holds me steadily as we sway to the beat of the song.
Remember those walls I built?

I look around and see that all girls have been taken by a guy.
"Aw how sweet, everyone's dancing." I say as Big Time Rush's Count On You Started playing.
"It's amazing what you can do." He replies nuzzling my neck.
"Awww your sister is dancing with that guy, uh what's his name?" I ask looking at Thresh's sister dancing with a boy with white blond hair.
"Oh Woof." Thresh says. As soon as Thresh says his name it hits me.
"Oh yeah, Woof, he lives a couple of streets down from us right? District 8? And he was the son of the guy who was talking about why we might want to consider having a career in Textiles." I say the memories flooding back like tsunami. He was always a quiet boy. With Thresh's sister being very talkative and him being quieter, I think it'll work between them.
"Haha yeah, why would you want to sew for the rest of your life. No thanks." Thresh says and we start to burst out in laughter, causing all the middle schoolers to stare at us. At then end of the song Thresh pulls away.
"I'll go get some drinks." Thresh says leaving me on the middle of the dance floor. Not wanting to look like a loner, I decide to walk to where the wooden rises are and sit down watching the kids, barely noticing 5 boys behind me.
I watch another song go by as one of the boys jump down and stops right in front of me.
"Hi there." The boy says. I think I know him. Dark coloured skin, short black hair. I think he lives at the end of my street, District 11.
"Hi." I say cautiously.
"May I have this dance?" He asks stretching his hand out to me. Well when he says it like a gentlemen...
"All right." I roll my eyes playfully, accepting his hand and leading me to the dancefloor. I must admit he's a pretty good dancer and he keeps his hands just above my waist but when his hands sneak down to my hips, hoping to be unnoticed, that's when I draw the line.
"What do you think you're doing?" I say leading his hands back to an appropriate place.
"Oh come on
I'm gon' take a good girl
I know you want it
I know you want it
I know you want it' He sings in time with the song. So much for being a gentlemen. Fortunately and unfortunately Thresh decided to appear.
"What do you think you're doing Chaff?" Thresh says pushing Chaff back causing Chaff to stumble.
"Trying to pick up a girl what does it look like?" Chaff retorted. Oh no he didn't.
"Yeah well that's my girlfriend." Thresh says causing Chaff's expression to change.
"Dating a middle schooler. Baby cradler." Chaff spat out.
"Actually I'm a junior." I decide to chime in at that moment. Chaff winks at me.
And that's when Thresh punches Chaff.
For a few seconds of the fight, I enjoy watching my man act on his jealousy but then my conscience kicks in and I get into the middle of the fight and break it up.
"Thresh don't attack a boy, you know I want you and only you." I say trying to calm him down. He grabs my hand and drags me over to his sister Nicole. He taps Nicole on the shoulder, who is dancing with Woof.
"We're leaving." Thresh says bluntly.
"One more dance please big brother?" Nicole pleads. Thresh is about to protest when I cut in.
"It won't hurt anybody if Nicole has one more dance." I say leading Thresh to his car where we wait in silence for Nicole to come out. 5 minutes later Nicole appears with Woof coat draped around her shoulder. She give Woof back his coat as Woof kisses Nicole. It's such an adorable moment.
"Awwww to be young and in love." I say looking at the couple.
"Oh but I am." Thresh replies.
Well that was a cheesy ending :P
