Season 2 Finale
Chapter 26 & 27: Public Display of Manslaughter/ Itsuki: Subete no gen'in
Things haven't been the same since Kazuko found out about his role in extending the war between Albion and Tristain.
Kazuko while still happy about his relationship between him and Henrietta was still in tact he still felt guilty for creating the being responsible for leading that cursed country.
Kazuko locked himself in a room in South Gotha, the town claimed by Tristain, and kept himself distant from his brother and his friends. He couldn't bear to face them knowing he's caused the further bloodshed.
Around noon somebody knocked on his door and requested to come in. Kazuko allowed them to come in feeling if he kept himself distant it would only make things worse for himself and others.
It was Siesta, of all people to be here in Albion she cam here. It confused the hell out of Kazuko but he was happy to see her. He greeted her with a friendly hug and hello and asked why she wanted to see him.
"I came here because I heard you have not been seeing anyone the last two days. It's troubled Mr. Saito, Miss Vallier, even your esteemed brother Itsuki. They are all worried about you.", she said.
"If you wanna know why I am acting this way ask Itsuki, he knows why. Hell go ask Guiche he knows too! In fact he probably told everybody why!", Kazuko raised his voice.
"I am sorry to see you angry Kazuko. But I speak for everyone when I say that this isn't the way to go about whatever it is your facing. Perhaps spending time with just your friends will be a refreshing change for you.", Siesta suggested.
"Well I suppose if just my friends know about it then I suppose it's alright.", Kazuko said.
Next moment later the town glared at Kazuko like he was a criminal.
"Guiche if I see you today I will shove a chaos spear down your throat. And then toss you off this floating rock!", Kazuko thought.
Town square...
The place seemed to be quite peaceful. Nobody was feeling depressed or anything. Weather or not it was the Albion citizens feeling glad to be free from Enerjak's iron fist rule or not was all but conventional.
As a matter of fact the citizens seemed to be no different. "Nobody acts like anything is wrong. I mean people are talking about having Henrietta occupy their home but that's it. In fact I never heard a single reference to any-", Kazuko was interrupted from thought when he noticed somebody.
It was Tabitha! It seemed very odd seeing how Kazuko never saw her much. However she did save him from nearly falling off the floating continent.
"Tabitha? What brings you here of all places? I thought you were still at the academy.", said Kazuko.
"Teachers no longer working at academy. It was strange. Figured perhaps it had something to do with war.", Tabitha explained.
"I glad to see a familiar face here and everything but why are you really here? I don't peg you as one to be curious without good reason. And the faculty not teaching at the school is far-fetched to assume that it had something to do with whatever's going on here.", Kazuko told her.
"Of course. But they said they were ordered to finish any and all activities there until further notice. Had to come only from someone high in government.", Tabitha said.
"Well if you think that's the case why not ask Henrietta", Kazuko asked.
"Can't risk attention. Might be bigger than I expect. For now I must stay vigilant.
"Well could do me a favor check on Guiche for me. I have to go and find Saito and Louise, they are expecting me.", Kazuko kindly asked.
Tabitha agreed and left the town square.
"And also...thanks for saving me from free-falling off here.", Kazuko thanked. Despite everything else it seemed oddly suspicious indeed that somebody suspended the academy for some reason.
It wasn't due to Divine Intervention, the school kept going during the process. Something may be stirring inside the government again but Kazuko headed Tabitha's caution to drawing attention on the matter.
Later on as Kazuko waited for Saito and Louise, hoping to find them. But for some reason they were taking far too long.
Saito and Louise were actually preoccupied when Saito noticed someone familiar. When they passed the corner leading to the town square Saito swore he saw somebody he recognized.
"Come on Saito Kazuko is waiting for us. We can deal with it later.", Louise protested.
"He can wait, but until then I need to check it out.", Saito said. He walked over in to where he saw that familiar person and left without Louise.
She reluctantly followed him but wanted to get it over soon.
Meanwhile in Henrietta's quarters...
"Itsuki I think that in light of our near victory would not be wise to remove your forces from my country. I just received word that the capital will borders will be breached by dawn.", Henrietta implored.
"I am sorry but I cannot remove my personal guard until we have dealt with Enerjak. We need my forces to guard your country in case of an emergency evacuation.", Itsuki replied.
"Bear in mind that we have more than capable people here where the battle is most dire. I do not believe that any further measure to protect my country are necessary.", Henrietta replied.
"Perhaps you don't see the amount of danger we are truly in! I have heard stories of how entire heavily fortified countries were unable to stop him!", Itsuki yelled.
"We have someone who can stop him! He's your brother!", Henrietta shouted at Itsuki as she rose up from her seat.
"AND WHAT IF HE FAILS?!", Itsuki replied nearly screaming at the top of his lungs.
Henrietta sat back down glaring at Itsuki. The tension between them began to grow exponentially, it was like one of them was about to rip the other apart.
Itsuki calmed down and took a deep breath and continued the conversation. "Look I am fully aware of your fondness in my brother. However your confidence in him is quite misleading. He's powerful but his powers aren't god-like.", Itsuki explained.
"It shouldn't matter how I feel about Kazuko. It doesn't affect my judgment.", Henrietta stated.
"Forgive me if I do not believe you. But from now on until we stop Enerjak my personal guard will remain in Tristain.", Itsuki said leaving the room.
Itsuki exited meeting his second in command, Master Gunnery Sergeant Richard. "My liege has the queen become a problem with Divine Intervention?", Master Guns asked.
"Not at all Master Guns, she'll continue cooperation with The Order. She growl's but is loyal even when irritated.", Itsuki answered.
"I have read the recent reports from the front. Henrietta's army will reach the capital before the end of tonight. Assuming there are no distractions.", Master Guns stated.
"Excellent, they'll be closing in ahead of our schedule. With any luck we should be able to pull our forces out from Tristain before my estimated time. And Master Guns I have a serious task for you to undertake.", Itsuki stated.
"What is it sir? Whatever it is I'll handle it with minimal need for assistance.", Master Guns said.
"I want you to send this message to these set of coordinates. The message has a set of instructions, and it is absolutely imperative that they reach that specific destination. If they are intercepted all is lost, can I trust you with this task Master Gunnery Sergeant?", Itsuki asked before handing him the message.
"I'll die long after I completed my appointed assignment sir.", Master Guns stated.
Itsuki handed the message to Master Guns and left for the coördinates.
Back to Saito and Louise...
They managed to follow that person to a dark ally way behind a storage warehouse. The figure entered inside with Louise and Saito following it.
At first the room was so dark nobody could see anything but then...
"Did anyone follow you?", said a familiar voice.
" No but we can check outside and see for ourselves.", Saito joked. Then a lantern lit the room and it was revealed to be Agnes!
"I thought I saw someone I recognized! What are you doing here Agnes?", Saito asked.
"Listen I don't have much time but I had to tell you guys so you'd stop following me. There is something going on inside her majesty's government. I think somebody is going to attempt to assassinate her.", Agnes explained.
"What?! That's insane! Who would go along with it?", Louise said.
"Now I don't have any evidence but there are certain yet subtle patterns that seem to make me think that Itsuki character was the one who murdered her majesty's parent's.", Agnes said.
"What kind of patterns would point to assassination?", Louise asked.
"For example the security around her majesty seemed to decrease within the last couple days. Frequent visits from that person from The Order's lap dog. And a majority of the army was pulled back from their duties.", Agnes exclaimed.
"How are they supposed to make you go think that Kazuko's own brother was the one who Henrietta's parent's?", Saito asked.
"Listen Saito, I knew her when she and I were children. Nobody never truly knew who but now I think it was Kazuko's brother who was suspected. I never knew when but now that I think about it he does seem suspicious. But there was never any evidence linking him to it.", Louise said.
"True but these same things are happening just like the last time he came here. The guards were never there to keep the original rulers from harm and for some reason they were taken to the palace forests and they found them dead.", Agnes said.
"So you think that Itsuki is going to kill Henrietta? But when would he do it? And how?!", Saito questioned.
"I wish I knew that's why I'm keeping an eye on Kazuko to be sure he isn't involved with his brother.", Agnes stated.
" Hang on! Kazuko is the last person you would want to tag as somebody to go along with killing her!", Saito said in defense.
"I'm in total agreement but I can't try to spy on Itsuki, he's too clever. Kazuko is the only one who would interact with him the most so I could slip to his office and see if I could find something that would give me a clue to what his plan is.", Agnes explained.
"I have and idea, we'll talk to Kazuko and convince him to make a visit to Itsuki and then you can slip in Itsuki's office and find any clue about what he's planning.", Louise said.
"That's perfect! I just need only a few minutes and I'll be able to see what Itsuki has lying around.", Agnes replied.
Back to Kazuko...
Time passed and things began to become too dull for Kazuko so he decided to take a seat over by a bench and feed any birds that flew by. It wasn't a total time killer but it was something none the less.
Kazuko felt a bit uneasy and started to wonder what might happen in the near future. Albion was on the brink of defeat and soon his place in Tristain would no longer be required.
"I guess ounce the war is over where do I go from here? I can't stop thinking about Henrietta though. She's the only thing I do not want to lose most of all here. Maybe I'll stay here and spend the rest of my time here with just her. Of course Saito and Louise I haven't forgotten.", he thought.
Kazuko pondered on the idea of living with Henrietta, it seemed like if that was where life would take him what could be so bad? It would be just simply paradise. It would truly be the best time in his life.
The only thing that made him think perhaps it may not happen was his brother. Would Itsuki hold him to try and restore what traditions the Uchiha clan had? I would be his obligation but their teachings were long forgotten.
To him they were all in the past. He was no traditionalist, he merely was just a simple teen with far to many responsibilities as it was. So what was it he had to do now?
Kazuko face-palmed himself and had no clue what would be in store for him. After tonight it would be that things would be the beginning of the end.
Kazuko saw Saito and Louise over by the fountain and waved them over. Louise hugged Kazuko glad to see him safe.
"Oh my god we heard where you went to and heard you nearly got killed. Saito and me were so worried about you.", Louise said hugging Kazuko.
"Guiche told us that you and Itsuki rescued him in the front lines. Heard you all just managed to escape.", Saito said.
"Yeah well truth be told I have gotten out of worse. But it's great to see you guys are alright.", Kazuko said fist bumping Saito.
"Which I wonder, what did you three do while I was gone?", Kazuko asked.
"Well let me explain... nope there is too much, let me sum up. We went over to another Albion city and took out their defenses so we could stop them from getting their citizens in the cross fire.", Saito said.
"I assume there is more to it than that?", Kazuko asked.
"Well there is more to it but you don't need to hear if you don't want to.", Louise said.
Kazuko wanted to hear their tale and he listened to what they had to say. The tale itself was quite gripping, Louise unable to use her void magic and the zero fighter crash landing.
Alone in enemy territory with an injured Albion solider and lastly Julio saving them before the army closed in on the duo.
"Wow you guys had quite the story. Heck even I have admit that took brass. Saito my friend you took a step up from your role as body-guard.", Kazuko complimented.
"If we were sent in any other day before the incident at the academy, I would have killed that solider. But Mr. Colbert's words touched me when he wrote that letter to me.", Saito said.
"He wrote you a letter? When and what did it say?", Kazuko asked.
"He wrote during the whole incident. He and I were friends and I told him all about Japan and how different it was to Tristain. He wanted me to not make a habit of killing people so I'm trying to uphold his wish.", Saito exclaimed.
"That's very noble of you Saito. In your place I'd probably have just done away with that solider. But what was he like? I mean was he being controlled or anything? And did he mention anyone named Enerjak?", Kazuko asked.
"No. He was an ordinary solider. He mentioned that the army was sent to war from strange orders from some emissary from a foreign country.", Louise answered.
"Emissary? I was over by enemy lines and I never heard of any emissary from another country. Did that emissary happen to have powers like mine?", Kazuko asked trying to understand what they knew about Albion's leader.
"He never mentioned the powers of chaos. Not even so much as a description of what that emissary looked like.", Louise said.
Kazuko started to grow more aware that something wasn't quite right about what Itsuki discovered. Did he mis-interpret the message? Was it even true? Was it a ploy? Or was it a cover story?
"Itsuki made it clear what that message had said. But then how does it explain the fact that what Saito and Louise encountered.", Kazuko thought.
Then from out of no where somebody screamed. A solider from the Tristain army suddenly attacked someone and was about to impale her.
Saito quickly reacted and knocked off the solider before he dealt the final blow. "The hell is wrong with you?!", Saito yelled at the solider.
His eyes were competently white, soulless, like he was possessed. "Guys! The army is being controlled by somebody!", Saito yelled.
As everyone pondered at the realization they saw an entire swarm of controlled knights attacking everyone in sight.
"What the hell is going on?!", Kazuko yelled.
Then Saito had a startling realization, Henrietta was the target! Saito ran for Henrietta's quarters and ran without explaining to Kazuko of who might be the cause of this.
At Henrietta's h.q...
"Your majesty! Our troops have suddenly began attacking our own citizens! We must evacuate before they reach you!", said one of Henrietta's advisers.
"Wait where is Itsuki Uchiha?!" Henrietta asked before she would leave.
Then a possessed solider broke through the glass and was about to kill Henrietta when suddenly a lone sword flew by and stabbed it in the head.
It was Itsuki's sword! He saved Henrietta from being killed, "Your majesty this area has become lost to us! We must leave now! I'll start helping evacuating the citizens to safety!", Itsuki stated.
Henrietta immediately left the room with the place being overrun by possessed soldiers. The entire city was being taken over by a whole horde of zombie like knights that were killing anything they saw.
As Henrietta left the building her escort was then shot in the head with an arrow by one of "them", and then when another was fired Saito blocked it with his sword saving Henrietta from an arrow to the head.
"Your highness we have to leave! Everyone's waiting at the rendezvous point! I'll protect you until we arrive there.", Saito said.
With the chaos in the streets and everyone retreating the whole area was one enormousness war-zone. The entire town was lost and today was a defeat...
But it only became worse on the horizon. Albion's army was advancing toward the town, they were going to exterminate everyone that didn't chant, "Kill Henrietta", the war turned in favor of Albion for the first time.
Hours later after the following night...
The people who managed to evacuate made it to a port that had ships that were taking out everyone from South Gotha.
The crowds became frantic and tried to squeeze in but the security managed to control the chaos from entering the ships. As for everyone else they had their own problems.
In the port office...
"Your majesty we have only one option. We must abandon our advances toward Albion and retreat back to our home country. When the first ship is ready to depart you must board it at ounce.", said Henrietta's adviser.
Itsuki on the other hand rejected the idea entirely. "That's not happening! We are so close! Too close to retreat now! Enerjak used a massive amount of power to control the minds of all those soldiers, I know he's vulnerable NOW IS THE TIME TO ATTACK!", Itsuki stated.
"Her majesty will do no such thing! This is the time to fall back not head forward to certain death. If we do then we are all going to die.", said the adviser.
"Enerjak is god-like your highness but his powers inhabit a living being. All living things have limits, if we attack now we might just have a chance at stopping him! Now I agree that we use what we have to evacuate the locals but ounce done, we'll use all we have left and attack.", Itsuki insisted.
"There will be no attack. Itsuki... it is not how I do things, we evacuate everyone including our remaining forces. Now what we must do now is wait for another time to defeat this Enerjak.", Henrietta declared.
Enraged Itsuki left the room with much frustration in his heart. Itsuki left to find the only one capable of ending the war here and now...
In the port...
Kazuko, Saito, and Louise were waiting near a stables awaiting when the ships began taking everyone out of the continent.
"This is very very bad guys. And I can't recall anytime when we were in a rut this huge.", Kazuko said.
"What about when we had to leave you here hoping you would make it out alive?!", Louise reminded.
"Oh yeah...But even then you knew what was going to happen one way or another. Now were just biting our nails and hope for the best.", Kazuko replied.
"Now that I think about it I wonder what happened to Tabitha! Hopefully she made it out of there alive. Who am I kidding she most probably did. But still...and where the hell is Agnes in all this confusion, haven't seen her around at all.", Kazuko thought.
Louise and Saito were arguing while Kazuko pondered what happened to Tabitha. Something about sacrificing themselves to protect Henrietta...WHAT!
Kazuko heard them and interjected himself into the conversation, "What about sacrificing themselves to save Henrietta?", Kazuko said.
"Louise is going to head in the front lines and try to hold off the enemy so that everyone can get out of here. I'm saying that it's out of the question.", Saito said.
"Listen the both of you, my honor to the queen is more valuable than my life. Every Nobel is willing to die for that same honor. Saito, I don't want to lose you nor do I want to leave you but somebody must do it.", Louise stated.
"Hey! I am the one who has a remote chance at surviving through this! If there's going to be someone to hold off 7 million people that will kill me without pity then it should be me!", Kazuko replied.
"You will do no such thing Kazuko! I have a duty to uphold to her majesty!', Louise said.
"And I don't?! For god's sake Louise I love her! More than I have anyone. I have only her to lose. But you have Saito, you two have been through a lot since we came here. And I won't stand by and watch any of you die here.", Kazuko stated.
Louise and Saito blushed at Kazuko's remark about their feelings for each other. But neither of them denied it. After that the three dispersed.
After the argument between the trio Saito felt aggravated with the standards that Nobel's had to do for the sake of meaningless things such as honor. "What was the point if they are dead?", he thought.
He knew for a fact that no matter what Louise will go on with holding back Albion, while her use of Void Magic was impressive when it worked she stood no freaking chance.
Saito thought that the only means of talking her out of it was by incapacitating her before he left. But he had to see Kazuko before he'd leave to face Albion.
A short walk later Saito met up with Kazuko who looked like an absolute train wreck. His face was gloomy, his back was slumped, and he looked like he was at an all time low.
"Jeez man what is wrong with you?", Saito asked with concern.
Kazuko didn't answer, he stayed silent and looked away from his best friend. "It's nothing. But what is it?', Kazuko asked.
"I want you to leave. I couldn't bear to see you or her dead. You understand why.", Saito begged.
"Saito... I know your going to hold them off. And you want me to leave with her.", Kazuko said.
"And are you going to?", Saito asked.
"Yes. I know...More than you could imagine, I know how it feels to see someone die when there is nothing you can do to stop them from facing the inevitable.", Kazuko replied.
"That's where your wrong. I DO know more than you think. Besides I have been through everything you have gone through. Back from Japan all the way to here. I remember when I found you in that garbage truck.", Saito joked.
"Hm hmm and you had to shower six times before the smell left you after you carried me to your house.", Kazuko joked.
The two had a good laugh but the seriousness of the situation rose again. "Listen Kazuko, I am not going to lie when I say this. I love Louise, probably as much as you love Henrietta. So that's why tonight I'm going to marry her.", Saito confessed.
"What?! But now of all times?!", Kazuko responded.
"Listen to me, ever since she started treating me like a normal person, she's really proven o be one of the kindest girls I have ever met. She's hot tempered but she's got a strong heart. The loyalty to Henrietta is a prime example. And she is all I have here, and I'm all she has too.", Saito confessed.
"And after the stuff we went through together I wouldn't change all of it for the world. When we spent that day on her family's lake, when I set up that dinner date after you arrested that rouge musketeer, or when we faced Nightmare during the end of the battle. I love her Kazuko and I won't lose her here, and I'll protect her one way or another.", Saito stated.
Kazuko was moved by his words of sincerity, he cried by how passionate Saito felt for his feeling toward Louise. It made his heart melt. "I'll take her back home safe and sound. For you and for Louise.", Kazuko said.
"Thank you. But listen to me... if I don't come back, keep her safe for me.", Saito asked. Kazuko nodded leaving Saito to find Louise.
(Before Kazuko met with Saito)
Kazuko left hoping to see Henrietta and see how she was holding up. He needed to see her since he knew full well he would undertake in the suicide mission.
He had to see her one last time before doing what he knew he had to do in order to save Saito and Louise. He entered the room she was in and requested to be alone with her.
"Oh my god Kazuko I'm so glad you made it!", Henrietta said relieved to see he was OK.
Kazuko hugged her back as she wrapped her arms around him embracing him tightly. She felt better knowing he was far from danger. Little did she know it would not last.
"I had to see you Henrietta. When I heard what happened I thought you were hurt or worse during the whole thing.", Kazuko lied. He wanted to see her to say a hollow goodbye before going off to face the enemy.
"I am fine, Saito and your brother Itsuki I owe a large debt to. Without them I wouldn't have survived the ordeal altogether.", Henrietta kissed his cheek tenderly trying to cheer him up.
Kazuko had that depressed look in his face and he did his best to hide it. He just stared at her seeing her beauty. Everything about her he thought was flawless, they didn't have much time to spend together, or did they?
He never found out, but it didn't matter to him. All that mattered was what he remembered now with her. Those moments they had spent were nothing but his most happiest memories of his life.
Only ones he held more dear were the ones of his family when they were alive.
But to him the ones he had with her came remarkably close and he wanted to make one last memory before he said his last goodbye to her.
"Henrietta...", Kazuko stuttered.
"Yes Kazuko?", she asked.
Kazuko came forward to her slowly and had his arm around Henrietta's waist. He placed his hand over her cheek stroking it so soft and tenderly, like a fragile piece of china.
"I want you to know that no matter what happens tonight I want you to know something. I don't care of the times we spent before I met you. All I know is that the times we spent here...and now...they are the best I have had in so long. You bring out the best in me... and...I love you. I love you so much.", he whispered.
He kissed her gently causing Henrietta to be put off guard. She was stunned and was surprised by it, to be honest she didn't understand why he told her what he just confessed.
But she didn't seem to care. All that mattered was their kiss, it was undoubtedly the best one they had ever shared.
Kazuko then held out two fingers out and touched her forehead, causing her to take a glimpse into his memories of their times together.
She had memories of them too but what was different was the emotions. Instead of what she felt when she recalled them this time she felt exactly what he did.
Every elevated pulse to the thoughts he had running through his mind she knew exactly how he felt. It was beautiful she thought, nobody could top the amount of love Kazuko Uchiha had for Henrietta de Tristain.
Kazuko broke away leaving saying a whole hearted goodbye to her.
Immediately After that...
Kazuko left headed to the front lines, but was stopped by Itsuki. "And where do you think your going Kazuko?", he asked.
"I'm going to hold off the army so you and everyone here can get away alive. And don't try to stop me because my mind has been made.", Kazuko replied.
"I have no intention of stopping you but merely informing you. Your best friends the girl and boy, are near a chapel not far from here. I believe they are going to be wed themselves within the hour.", Itsuki informed.
"What?! Saito and Louise? Wow this is just...wow. I should be happy for them but still I...", Kazuko couldn't finish with having the news bombard his thoughts of near suicide.
"You wish that you could see them together.", Itsuki finished. Kazuko looked at his brother smiling at him.
"You know me too well Itsuki. I wish we could just be just like when we were kids. Back to the old days, but now...", Kazuko said tearing up.
"I wish we could be brothers again. But as far as I have seen, you are as every bit the man you were always destined to be. I know they aren't here but... you would have made mother and father proud.", Itsuki said.
Kazuko hugged his brother crying in his arms, holding his brother...one...last...time...
"I wish they were here to see how much you would have made them proud too Itsuki.", Kazuko said to his brother before departing.
At the chapel...
Saito and Louise were inside the chapel preparing their oath to forever become husband and wife. It was quiet but special for them.
The timing may not have been the best but they both agreed in their minds that if today was heir last, this is how the would want to end it.
Kazuko silently sneaked inside the chapel watching the two about to make their oath. However Saito poured something into one of the wine glasses. Kazuko then hid behind the table and noticed it was a sleeping potion.
Kazuko knew right there he was going to incapacitate Louise so that he'd keep her safe when he fought Albion. However Kazuko had other plans in mind for him, he decided to return the favor to Saito.
Having left the potion unattended Kazuko had the perfect chance to pour a bit of the sleeping potion in to Saito's glass. When they drank after they made their oath they would be out of danger.
As Kazuko fulfilled his sneaky trick he then took notice to the young couple making their vows. He watched quietly almost being moved to tears.
Saito and Louise held hands as they began saying their wedding vows, "Louise, I love you and I am glad that I met you. Until the end I will always love you.", Saito said.
"Saito I will as well love you until the end. Even in our darkest moments will my love never change for you. You may have been weird at first but now...I'd only wish I had acted sooner. I'm glad we met each other.", Louise confessed.
Then the flowers over by them began to bloom. One was glimmering a blue light while the other glimmered a pink one. Kazuko was truly touched by their love and was sprouting tears of joy.
Kazuko then left the chapel and waited outside for the effects of the potion to kick in.
As the new couple made a toast to their special bond they drunk from their glasses and embraced each other. Then Saito then just dropped to the floor falling in Louise's arms.
Kazuko was puzzled by this thinking that they BOTH would sleep at the same time but he forgot something to take into account, he used triple the amount Saito put in Louise's drink.
So the effects would be far quicker and last longer for him. Although it wouldn't take long for Louise to fall prey to the potion either leaving her with very little time.
Louise dragged Saito out and called for help. Kazuko then came and pretended to wonder what seemed to be wrong with Saito. "He just fell down I don't understand what's the matter with him!", Louise said frantically.
Kazuko then pretended to analyze Saito's body by having a light emit from his hands. "He's fine, just dazed. He must have fallen to a potion. Isn't there something he might put in the drinks, something odd?", Kazuko hinted.
Louise saw the bottle and guessed that must have been a sleeping potion he accidentally put in his glass. "Well he's no shape to do anything. I'll take him to the port and get him on the next ship out of here. I hope you'll be doing the same?", asked Kazuko.
Louise was about to answer bu then Julio appeared with a message specifically for Louise.
"Louise, someone near the port has requested to see you at ounce. It is regarding an urgent matter.", Julio explained with haste.
"Oh right! I have to go and meet her.", Louise said remembering what Agnes told her earlier. "Kazuko I have to go. But please be sure you get out of here with everyone else while I'm gone.", Louise said as she ran off.
Kazuko nodded silently but ultimately regretted lying to her since it may very well be the last he will se Louise. "Julio, I need a favor to ask. Make sure Louise gets to where she is headed. She might pass out before she reaches it.", Kazuko said.
"And why is that?", asked Julio.
"Because Saito put a sleeping potion in her drink. Soon the effects will kick in. Follow her but be sure she doesn't see you. And promise me to take both her and Saito on the next ship that leaves the port. If Louise makes it to her secret destination then head over and get Saito over to a ship. She'll most likely be taken to it by the time she talks to who ever she's seeing.", Kazuko pleaded.
"I will make certain of it. And Kazuko...Good Luck.", said Julio. He left leaving Kazuko alone with nobody else left. Kazuko now had his friends safe from the suicide mission, so now it was only his burden to bear.
In the fields of Albion...
As Kazuko walked to South Gotha where Albion had occupied it again with it's un-dead-like horde he stopped to wonder if he could reach Enerjak. He was so mysterious so shrouded in mystery, was that even the one responsible for everything?
He decided to just focus on one simple thing to drive him forward, "Kill anything that gets in my way until I face whatever is responsible for this."
(Walking Dead Armed with death)
Kazuko made his way to the front of Albion's army. The mind controlled soldiers were coming in hordes, all Kazuko had were his powers of chaos and his single sword. They were easy prey, he had to conserve his powers when he faces the REAL enemy.
But now it was only on man and a long single blade. "Time to bloody my weapon"
Kazuko held his sword as tightly as he possibly could and walked to the first of many people he'd have to kill on his way to the Albion base. He walked up to the first soldier he saw and smashed his sword into his head.
Then he ran forward and made clean swipes around anyone his blade came near. He slashed through all of them despite the fact they were being controlled.
There was no time to think about saving lives that appeared to be beyond saving. He then stabbed another in the eye and as he yanked it out sliced in half another one as he pulled it out.
Kazuko was then being surrounded by a whole bunch at ounce so he then shoved the ones that were in front of him and kept moving not caring how many were left as long as they didn't impede his progress.
Kazuko fought his way out of the town and made it all the way to the enemy camp site. He could not believe how massive the site was!
The entire encampment was the size of a city and it was filled with over 7 million individuals waiting to try and kill him.
Kazuko pressed on and ran toward the camp site facing them with all of his powers ready to be used on those mindless bastards!
He leaped off the ground and made a small chaos blast to start giving himself room to take down some of the men. He knocked down any that weren't too affected by the blast and picked off any one he could kill easily.
His attention was turned when half a dozen fireballs were aimed right at him, he then quickly let them hit his body but managed to redirect it back to them troops.
He pushed forward slicing up every troop that was withing range of his sword cutting down bit by bit the massive army he took on singlehandedly.
As they began using more and more magic on Kazuko he then had to try to use a more effective chaos attack. He then summoned a whole array of chaos spears and sent them flying up in the air hitting perhaps a few dozen troops in the process.
Kazuko's space around him was beginning to diminish and needed to use more focused chaos beams to start intimidating them to start backing off so he could get a better sense of more immediate danger.
He shot out three chaos beams in separate directions so that they wouldn't box him in. The army then had to rely on ranged attacks until there more gargantuan troll's made their way to Kazuko.
This was without a doubt Kazuko's hardest fight in his entire life.
Kazuko then just started to jab a little around his area of space so that they didn't think to get wise and rush him.
It was critical to keep their attention n how powerful and deadly he was if a single person fought him alone so that they were afraid of him.
Unknown to any of the troops Kazuko fought smartly knowing full well of the power he had. When the giant trolls made it to Kazuko he then had to try to hit its weak spot around its body.
If he used his powers it would mean they would send out more and he'd be exhausted.
Kazuko had to sparingly use his chaos abilities or else he'd be drained of energy and he'd be dead! He had much at his disposal but he was only one against millions.
Kazuko was starting to be exhausted from the fighting but he had to support himself.
When he faced the troll he leaped up from the ground and then turned in mid-air and stabbed it in the head! The shock wave of the beast falling down gave extra space for Kazuko to fight more of them.
Within about an hour in to fighting Albion single-handedly Kazuko's powers began taking a toll on his body. His muscles were exhausted and he could barely move, however it made a tremendous difference.
What was ounce a city of troops began to shrink into a small campsite of them, but the worst was saved for the last. And it was no exaggeration when it was the WORST that awaited Kazuko.
(Before Kazuko faced Albion)
Louise left the others in sadness knowing full well of the path she is driving herself in. She stood by spot near the forest away from the port.
She laid in the grass and cried away wishing she didn't have to go along with it. She knew she could just leave and escape with Saito but she didn't want to be seen as a failure anymore.
For ounce in her life to prove to her classmates, to her eldest sister, to even her own mother and father that she had the capacity to accomplish something that they didn't think she could do.
It was a force that drove her to persevere through the struggles the past few months.
It was her time to prove now and forever that she wasn't Louise The Zero. Then as her crying seemed to cease she heard a rustling in the bushes.
It was Tabitha & Agnes!
"Miss Vallier, we need your help.", said Agnes. Louise got up wiping the rest of her tears so that she could calmly comprehend what the two were going to say.
"You understand of what I had mentioned earlier about Itsuki yes?", Agnes asked Louise.
"Indeed but given the recent events I couldn't carry out what we set out to do.", Louise answered.
"Regardless of such it is clear that Itsuki didn't plan what happened in South Gotha. However it doesn't neglect the fact that I still hold the idea that he plans to murder Henrietta.", Agnes acknowledged.
"But Saito told me Itsuki saved her. She told Saito while they evacuated the area.", Louise stated.
"It was never part of the plan.", said Tabitha. Louise and Agnes looked at her flabbergasted about what she said.
"I found it near the Albion capital.", she said holding out a message.
Agnes grabbed it and read it aloud, "To all of my faithful subjects of Albion. Rest assured that my plan has reached its end and victory awaits us.
I have now taken control of the Tristain army with my unlimited power and therefore Tristain is vulnerable. Head to South Gotha immediately.", Louise finished.
"Where exactly did you find it Tabitha?", Agnes said.
"Someone was transferring the message to the capital. I recognized him as part of Itsuki's personal guard. He sent it to the army.", Tabitha exclaimed.
"So he never intended to kill her? But it doesn't add up Itsuki had right where he wanted us yet saved everyone from Albion. Nothing makes sense.", Louise said.
"One thing does Itsuki is in league with Albion.", said Agnes.
"But that means... KAZUKO! He's...in", Louise passed out from the sleeping potion and fell to the ground.
Agnes and Tabitha carried her back to the port to warn Henrietta and send for help to Kazuko.
At the port...
Agnes and Tabitha made the last ship shortly before it would leave. Agnes ran to find Henrietta and tell her of what they have discovered.
Agnes found her in her private room where she was startled by Agnes' sudden urgency. "Your majesty we have an urgent situation! We have to send in reinforcements to Kazuko's position now!", Agnes yelled.
"What?! Kazuko went to battle?! And what do you mean send in reinforcements?! We have none to spare!", Henrietta yelled with confusion and frustration.
"Where is Uchiha?! His brother?!", Agnes demanded.
"He took the first ship that departed. He hasn't been here for hours.", Henrietta answered.
"We have to go after Kazuko! He's going into a trap! His brother is going to kill him!", Agnes explained.
Henrietta was both shocked and terrified to hear what words ere flying into her ears,"I want this ship to halt its departure I want every available knight and mage to head out and intercept Kazuko now!", Henrietta ordered.
Unfortunately the ship had already began leaving the port. There was no time left, Kazuko was now alone against with what appeared to be an unstoppable army.
Back in the battlefield...
(Walking Dead It's Over)
As Kazuko finally made it to the center of the camp site a large wooden ship slowly hovered down to the middle of he campsite.
It's structure seemed unknown to Kazuko, almost not of this world. But what he could not believe was the fact that who was standing right at the very edge of the ship, Itsuki.
"Itsuki! You got here just in time we can take on the leader together! Is Saito and Louise with you! If they're pissed at me tell them that-", Itsuki interrupted him by saying the truth.
"They aren't here. And they aren't coming, you'll never see them again! It's finally coming to an end.", he said.
"What's coming to an end? What are you talking about?", Kazuko said in confusion.
"I'm talking about the chaos you have brought to the multi-verse for all these years! It took me this entire time to finally have you where I want you.", Itsuki said.
"What?! You mean you! You were behind the war the entire time?! You continued it just to weaken me so that what?! What do you mean I brought chaos around the multi-verse I never even entered their!", Kazuko said.
"You have brought chaos since the day you were born. Your powers have threatened the Mobius Strip all this time. I was brought in to take care of you, and bring you in so that you will no longer threaten balance to the multi-verse.", Itsuki explained. The sky flashed and the clouds cried in sorrow of this revelation.
"No I would never! You know me! For gods sake Itsuki I'm your brother!", Kazuko begged for his brother to spare him.
"I have a duty to The Order, even if it renders our clan extinct forever.", Itsuki the held out his arm and several ropes wrapped around Kazuko making him unable to move.
"You will face the judgement of the council when we arrive at The Mobius Strip Kazuko. I'll see that you receive fair judgement.", Itsuki reassured.
But as Kazuko was being pulled on to the ship he began putting the pieces together. "Nightmare WAS RIGHT! You told him to kill me! You manipulated Albion into making the identity of their leader a mystery to draw attention away from you! And you were that mysterious stalker who tried to kill me when I tried to escape here!", Kazuko stated.
"You are a smart as my skills as a tactician are as sharp. Indeed I orchestrated the whole thing. So that balance would be safe from ever being destroyed by you!", Itsuki admitted.
"You won't get away with this Itsuki! I'll tell everyone what you did! They will stand against you!", Kazuko threatened.
"If they stand against me they will be standing against The Order. As far as anyone will ever know they will think you sacrificed your life saving Tristain. A much better way to be remembered than as a threat to The Order's very existence.", Itsuki replied.
With the ship rising from the ground Itsuki then opened a portal to the mobius strip where Kazuko would never be see ever again. Kazuko was devastated by what was happening.
How could his own brother have done all these horrible things? How could he betray his own clan and his own family? Whatever the reasons may be Kazuko was powerless to stop what Itsuki set in motion.
Kazuko's eyes were filled with tears of complete sadness and true suffering. He had never felt this bad since he saw his clan burned alive by Nightmare. However this was even worse if at all possible. The truth had been found out by Kazuko, Itsuki Uchiha was the one responsible for the massacre of the Uchiha clan.
Epilogue: His heart was shattered, irreparable, and impossible to cope with. Kazuko had discovered the truth behind his clan's extermination.
And the truth became too much for him to even try and break free of his shackles that immobilized him. Itsuki's ship passed through the portal to where Kazuko would face judgement and his life would be out of his own control.
"Balance will finally be restored. Tonight brother, your reign of chaos will at last be over.", said Itsuki.
The ship entered through the portal and Itsuki ordered his men to bring in his brother. Kazuko took one final look over the world he occupied, what he dared to call home.
Kazuko then closed his eyes awaiting the inevitable fate that laid before him.
As for everyone else all they did was cry in absolute sorrow assuming the worst had happened to their friend. The ones who suffered the most was Saito, Louise, and Henrietta.
But even their worst thoughts of what happened to Kazuko couldn't be nearly as bad as what really was befalling on Kazuko. His fate was sealed.
Holy hell I finally made it! The conflict I have built up for two seasons has finally come! So after all that work I need to halt progress temporarily. But rest assured my story is about to reach its peak.
Favorite the story and review (positively) afterwards. Thank You!
Lastly the credits music I'd play if this was a show, (Walking Dead Take Us Back)
