TAKE TWENTY-SEVEN:
Tadashi looked up from the ice-bag overwhelming his peripheral view when Gogo said, "Okay, Tadashi." She sauntered over with a satisfied look on her face; her fingers played against an oily washcloth, as if she was washing her hands of this business. She waved a hand over to Baymax and said, "I fixed him. No longer will your nose be victimized."
"Hey, how come she gets to work on Baymax? I love him more than she does," Fred said, as Tadashi handed the ice pack to a willing Honey and gathered up the chalkboard and chalk. Fred pouted, Honey said kindly, "It's not personal, Fred," and Wasabi said, pointing to Baymax from his spot on the desk, "It's just that she's majoring in engineering and you eat pretend sandwiches." Wasabi shrugged and said, "You know, just maybe that's the reason."
Still wincing from the pain of the punch, Tadashi turned on the camera and said, "My name is Tadashi Hamada, and this is the twenty-seventh test of my robotics project."
Standing abreast to Baymax, facing Tadashi, Gogo said, "You should have him fix your nose," as she turned on the robot with a press of her fingertip.
Tadashi was about to deliver a smooth line in comeback when Baymax's computer screen blared as white fire, set on the highest brightness level; not even the brightest level for a regular phone or MP3 player but bright enough to temporarily blind. Tadashi gasped in surprise and hastened to cover his closed eyes with one arm while with his free hand he fished around for the 'OFF' button.
Gogo, however, had her finger hovering over the button, ready and as calm as could be. She turned off Baymax and watched the rest of her friends stumble around like zombies. "Couldn't resist one last prank. You guys are too trusting," she said, before blowing a bubble seven inches in diameter and pulling it all back into her mouth without skipping a beat.
Tadashi, recovering, mentally determined a new rule: no allowing Gogo ANYWHERE near Baymax EVER again.
