I apologize it's a short one... :3

Chapter 25

Akashi POV

Can't say that the ones we met the other day were much help, they only brought one person with them and he wasn't much help. Both of them are too immature for something this serious and their friend was not in the best of shape either. In the end all three of them backed out, can't say that I blame them. If you do not have the heart to go all the way, you shouldn't get involved at all. It was mostly a waste of time, I'll have to go with my original idea and just take care of it ourselves.

From Tetsuya, Taiga and Daiki left the restaurant together for a game of basketball but from testimony of people who had been at the park around that time, they never seem to have made it to the park. Riko Aida and Junpei Hyuuga were last seen leaving the café downtown Tokyo together the night before Taiga and Daiki disappeared. Shintarou and his teammate were last seen at the beach in the morning on the same day Seirin's coach and captain disappeared. The two others are most unknown since their friends had not seen them during the weekend, not that it would matter since I don't know enough about them to make any conclusions other that they are siblings.

The abductions were without a doubt quick and silent; no one noticed anything suspicious in the area probably because whoever took them gave no reason to suspect them in the first place. The abductors probably seemed friendly and normal average citizens because none had put up much of a struggle since no one reported any confrontations between a teen and an adult so whoever is behind this is cunning, intelligent and has power. It wouldn't come as a surprise if some sort of anesthetic was used to subdue the victims.

Someone who was able to abduct Ryouta without anyone noticing and transform a random guy into an exact replica of Ryouta and was able to copy Ryouta perfectly, almost perfectly. So that means that the one who is really pulling the strings must be incredibly wealthy but he makes others do his work for him. Chances are no one has ever seen this man ourselves but why abduct Ryouta in the first place, there has to be a reason. If not to demand a ransom then the only plausible reason would be to keep Ryouta for himself but what for?

Ryouta is famous for his looks but with the recent years he's gotten some popularity for his game plays in basketball also. His mother is a famous fashion designer originating from France and his father a big shot lawyer who gained famed from the cases that he has won. Ryouta has two older sisters, the eldest works as a model and was the one who got Ryouta into modeling in the first place and the other one owns a beauty shop that sells all sorts of aesthetic goods and has her salon next door where she does manicure pedicures and massotherapy but they haven't been approached by anyone suspicious. If it was about wanting to abduct someone famous the main reason then why didn't he also abduct Ryouta's eldest sister unless…

The others who were abducted may only be a smoke screen to shadow the real reason. This man is intelligent, always two-three steps ahead. Daiki's father is the lead detective in the case, well he was until Daiki's abduction.

If I take into consideration that this man knows this piece of fact… That's it. The others are only to hide that major evidence and lead the investigators off, to make them believe that this is a multi-kidnapping. That's what this man wanted, he wanted Daiki's father off the case because he was getting too close to finding the last remaining puzzle pieces to complete the puzzle. If that's the case, he needs more time and that's his idea to get that time. All eyes will fall on the missing teenagers and not on Ryouta at all.

The blood at the last crime scene, the struggle and the death of two high schoolers all shows that Ryouta put up a fight but wasn't able to get away. Those two that got shot, I think they distracted Ryouta in his getaway. He probably saw them get killed and he froze and that's how he got caught. Even after such a long period of time, he still has the will to fight and that must be the problem. Whoever this man is, he wants Ryouta to submit. He wants to break him but it hasn't worked so he needs more time.

The fake Ryouta gets murdered either it being a coincidence or not is never the less suspicious. Aisha Yamada was a troubled youth who witnessed her biological parents' double suicide and was later adopted by the Yamadas until her death. After searching about her more, I found out that she also had a twin brother that had left a suicide message saying that he was going to the Aokigahara Forest in Mount Fuji. His body was never found but it wasn't anything unusual for someone to choose that location to end their life, it happens too often unfortunately and more than half of the time the bodies are never found or they are many years later.

His name was Shizuo, he had good grades and no one had anything negative to say about him. He was a good person, quiet but responsible. I was told that he was Aisha's center; everything she did was revolved around her brother. It makes sense since he was the last family that she had. Everyone I asked, all said the same thing that they never saw it coming. That he was quiet but he always had a smile and was happy. We all thought that Aisha's stressor was Ryouta's apparent death but it looks more like her stressor might have begun when her brother killed himself a year before and the process was but a dragging period that deepened her psychosis and finally exploded when the fake Ryouta died by her hands.

The Yamadas adopted those two to give them a better life, so they wouldn't suffer anymore and because they wanted children to call their own but in the end both still suffered. One kept it all in until he could no longer handle what was tormenting his soul while the other became more and more mentally unstable and lashed out physically towards others. Both were tragic and both ended their lives the same way their parents did. Suicide…

Anyway if I take into consideration that whoever abducted Ryouta, the fact that the fake one died was probably going to happen even if Aisha hadn't done it. The fake one knew the truth, it would only be logical to think that the fake would eventually reveal the truth because of guilt.

Daiki's father had the fake body dug out from the grave so this person has ways to get information that hasn't been release to the press. Chances are that there might be a dirty uniform within the police's ranks. To some, money is worth more than loyalty and actually administering justice.

Even though he's no longer on this case, I have to speak with Daiki's father. He's the only one who can pry for the information that I need to see if what I think is correct and if it is, I fear that there will be nothing I'll be able to do. I don't even know what the law will be able to do if there is a dirty uniform somewhere mixed in them.

Review, tell me what you guys think :3
