This chapter is just so bad.

You guys should just ignore this post because ugh.

I'm also late again! But who is surprised, honestly.

This chapter sucksssss

I'm so sorry about this chapter.

Third Person!

"Brat," Sasori sat down at the kitchen table beside Kathryn, his voice quiet and his eyes warily fixed on the irate brunette who was storming around the house, muttering to herself under her breath.

Kathryn looked up from her homework and cocked her head to the side. "Hmm?"

"What's wrong with Alice?" Sasori asked. "Ever since she came back from school earlier, she's been eerily silent and seemingly in a bad mood. She locked herself up in her room until she had to go and get you from school."

Kathryn grimaced. "Oh, yeah, she's in a really bad mood. She gets like this sometimes."

"What prompted it?" Itachi sat down silently across from Sasori and Kathryn, watching Alice as she stomped out of the room, growling to herself.

Kathryn shrugged, twirling her pen around her fingers. "Alice has mood swings fairly frequently. They're usually pretty drastic. It's best to just leave her alone when she gets like this."

"Do you have any idea why she looks like she's about to kill someone, though?" Itachi asked.

"I don't, really," Kathryn frowned thoughtfully. "We had study-hall in the gym this morning for psych instead of actual class because our teacher was advising the kids in Mock Trial, but Alice didn't sit by me like she usually does. She's been in a mood all day, so she sat by herself. It seems to have gotten progressively worse as the day's gone on."

"The fuck's up with the bitch?" Hidan asked, walking into the kitchen. "She about ripped Deidara's throat out with her fucking teeth just now."

"What'd he do?" Sasori asked.

"Gave her a noogie," Hidan grinned. "She fucking flipped him over and kicked him down the steps. It was hilarious."

Kathryn winced. "Ah, yeah, I should probably warn everyone to leave her alone today. She's going through one of her moods."

"We fucking noticed," Hidan scoffed. He glanced over his shoulder when Alice walked into the room. "Yo, bitch, the hell's up with you?"

Alice froze on the way to the fridge and she slowly turned to look over her shoulder at Hidan. She stared at him for a long moment before her eyes widened and she pointed at him.

"You!" she said loudly.

Hidan's eyes went wide, partially because of Alice's outburst and the shock in Kathryn's eyes. "Me?"

"You're fucking coming with me," Alice said. She grabbed her keys off the counter and grabbed Hidan's wrist, dragging him out of the kitchen without any explanation.

"Why the fuck am I going anywhere?" Hidan asked as Alice dragged him out of the kitchen.

Alice didn't answer him as she shoved him towards his shoes and began putting hers on. She ran upstairs and threw open the door to the room Hidan stayed in. She came out a few moments later, a bag over her shoulder. "Pein! Leaving! Taking Hidan!"

Pein poked his head out of the laundry room as he had been in the back yard with Kakuzu, Zetsu, Konan, Tobi, and Kisame. "Don't do anything stupid, Alice."

She didn't respond as she threw open the door and yanked Hidan out of the condo and into the cold. Hidan followed Alice to the Hummer and got inside when she ordered him to, a little wary of her abrupt and forceful behavior.

Alice pulled her phone out of her pocket when she got in the car and started it. She was silent as she navigated through the device until she found what she wanted. Hidan stared at her with pure confusion and curiosity as she muttered an address under her breath and put her phone away. She began driving away from the condo without a word.

"Where are we going, bitch?" Hidan asked.

"You'll see when we get there," she replied. She glanced at him. "Got any weapons on you?" When she saw his reluctance to answer, she narrowed her eyes. "Answer me, Hidan. I'm not going to yell at you."

"I got this shitty knife from your kitchen," Hidan showed her the largest butcher's knife in the kitchen.

She made a face. "Not big enough."

Hidan's eyebrow shot up to his hairline. "Not fucking big enough? Big enough for what? Where the fuck are we going, Alice?"

"We're going crazy," she replied absently before veering off the road abruptly to drive down a long dirt road. She took a few random turns in the woods until they were in front of a desolate wooden barn in the middle of the forest.

"The fuck is this?" Hidan whispered under his breath. "Are you out of your fucking mind, Alice? What are we doing?"

Alice ignored him and got out of the car, going towards the shed without a care in the world. When she was about half way there, she glanced back at Hidan and raised her eyebrows.

"Are you coming or not?" she asked.

"I don't really want to," he said. "You're fucking crazy today." He got out of the Hummer and jogged to Alice's side.

She nodded with approval and grabbed his hand in order to lead him to the shed. She grabbed the shiny combination lock and began spinning the dial around until it clicked open and she pulled it off new metal clasp on the old wooden door.

Alice shoved the door open and looked around before glancing at Hidan. "Pick your poison, Hidan."

Hidan raised his eyebrows and stepped into the shed before his eyes widened at the sheer amount of weapons on the walls and in the shelves. "What the actual fuck, Alice?"

"It's a long story," Alice replied. "This is Louis' shed. We're on his father's property right now. His old man works for a weapon manufacturing company and he brings his work home with him a lot."

"Why are you telling me to pick something?" Hidan asked, running his fingers over the blade of a machete.

"Do you want a shiny weapon or not?" Alice asked. "You can keep it. I won't tell the others."

"Fucking deal," Hidan grinned and picked up a pike similar to the one he used back in his world. "Fucking pity you don't have any scythes."

"There are some farming scythes in the barn about a mile up but they're rusty and the barn's about to collapse," Alice replied. "Just get a big knife."

Hidan picked up the machete. "Kay. I'm good."

"Fair enough. Let's go. I gotta lock up and then we've got to get moving." She glanced at her phone. "We've only got an hour to get where we need to be and you're carrying me there."

Hidan frowned. "Okay? But why the fuck am I doing that?"

"We can't take my Hummer there. No traces," she said. She picked up a set of gloves off of the shelf near her and slid them into the pocket of her coat before leaving the shed. Hidan followed her out and watched her fix the lock in place and skew the dial before turning around to face him.

"Ready?" she asked.

Hidan picked Alice up after sheathing the weapons he had chosen and Alice wrapped her arms around his neck as he situated her so she was in a piggy-back.

"Where to?" he asked.

"Head south," she replied.

Hidan took off to the trees, turning this way and that when Alice told him to. It was smooth sailing as they kept mainly to the trees aside from a few times where Hidan had to run through a few fields that broke up the woods.

About an hour later, Alice directed him to slow down and she pointed him in the direction of a large barn that was spewing rays of light through the open doors. There were a number of cars parked near the barn and there was loud music echoing from within the barn, accompanied by raised voices and barking dogs.

Hidan put Alice down at her order and she led him to the entrance of the barn. Hidan almost jumped away from her when she growled through clenched teeth and squeezed his hand in a surprisingly painful grip. He looked around the barn cautiously.

"What is this place?" he asked, noting all of the drunk people ambling about and the various dogs on chains and in cages around the inside of the barn.

"This is the current location of a local dog-fighting ring," Alice replied in an uncharacteristically cold voice. "These people force their dogs to fight and kill each other for money and entertainment."

"Gross," Hidan frowned. "Sounds like something that bastard Kakuzu would do."

"If that were true, I would destroy all of Kakuzu's hearts with my bare hands," Alice snarled. "I overheard some trashy, piece of shit fuck-boy at school bragging about how he was going to come out here tonight to bet on some dog fights so I spent all day finding out where this was going to be held so I could report them to the police." She tilted her head towards Hidan. "But just arresting them isn't a good enough punishment for people who abuse dogs."

Hidan took a pointed step away from the pure murder in Alice's eyes.

"So? Why the hell am I here?" Hidan asked.

"I've got you an entire barn of sacrifices," Alice gestured over everyone in the room. "Kill anyone and everyone you so choose. As long as you leave the dogs alone, I don't care."

Hidan's eyes widened. "Are you serious, bitch? Don't be fucking kidding. Are you kidding?"

She looked at him. "Do I look like I'm kidding to you?"

"No, but this is too fucking good to be true!" Hidan grinned manically. "I get to appease Jashin-sama with all of these sacrifices. You're serious?"

"Make them suffer as much as possible, please," Alice said, pulling on the gloves she had taken from the shed earlier. "I'd rather you start before the fighting begins. So make it quick. I'll deal with the dogs."

"How long do I got?" Hidan was bouncing with excitement and he licked his lips.

She glanced at her phone. "We should leave at midnight. So you've got about five hours. That enough?"

"Should be," he cackled. "Ah!" He yanked Alice into a hug. "I fucking love you, you crazy bitch!"

Alice smiled for the first time today and patted Hidan's shoulder. "I love you too. Now go and pay your respects to Jashin."

Hidan laughed madly and then disappeared. Alice watched from the doors as the lights inside flickered off and the music silenced. She turned on the flash on her phone and moved to shut the doors to the barn and lock everyone inside as the screaming and slicing of flesh echoed from within.

"Have fun?" Alice asked, eyeing the blood covering Hidan's body as the skeletal black and white faded from his skin.

He grinned down at her, his eyes alight with madness. "Fuck yeah, bitch."

"That's good," she said. "Did you leave any traces aside from the Jashinist symbols?"

He shook his head. "Nope."

"Good boy," she replied. "No dogs were hurt?"

"Not a single one," he said. "I did knock a few out when they tried to attack me, but I didn't hurt 'em."

Alice patted his head. "I'll accept that." She peeked inside the barn, ignoring the blood and bodies on the floor as she noted the dogs in the cages and chained to the wall. "I'm going to get the dogs some water and I'll alert the ASPCA in the morning about the dogs barking from the farm in the morning. They'll be fine overnight."

Hidan watched Alice skirt around the blood almost casually as she filled up a few plastic bowls of water from the hose she had found on the side of the barn. "You're fucking insane about dogs, Alice."

"Dogs are the only things in this world that make me legitimately happy," Alice replied. "You guys don't count because you're technically not from this world." She rubbed the fur of one of the dogs chained to the wall and she checked the tightness of his collar.

He watched her greet and pet each of the dogs aside from those who were unconscious or slightly too aggressive and fearful of her. She spoke to them in quiet, low tones and she never loomed over one of the dogs or approached them head-on. There were a couple who snapped at her and a few who ran away from her, but Alice never pursued them or got too close unless the dog came to her.

When she was finished, she shut the barn doors, her gloves still covering her hands, and looked at Hidan. "Would you rather wash yourself off here or wait until we get home?"

"I'll be a cat if I wash off here, won't I?" he asked.

"Good point," Alice nodded. "We'll heat some water to change you back and I'll help you wash the blood off."

Hidan grumbled about abuse as he turned on the house and poured some in a bucket Alice found. He performed a mild fire jutsu so Alice could warm up the water before he gave her the hose. She pointed it at him, wetting his head. She tossed his blood-soaked clothes into the fire when he poofed into a kitten and she scooped him up to rub the blood out of his fur and off his legs and paws.

She set him down away from the water before dumping the warm water on kitten Hidan. She looked pointedly away from him as she offered him the towel and fresh set of clothes from the bag she had brought with her from the condo.

"You really fucking planned ahead," Hidan said, drying himself off and putting on the clothes. "Damn."

"Yeah. I do that." She put the towel back in her back when Hidan handed it to her and she looked around the area. "Can you destroy any trace that we were here other than the bodies and the Jashinist symbols?"

He nodded. "Yeah. I can get rid of those too if you want?"

"I won't make you," she replied. "But I also won't stop you."

Hidan shrugged. "I won't take very long. Zetsu'd appreciate the meal later."

"Fair enough," Alice waved at him dismissively. "Do what you gotta do, Hidan."

He ruffled her hair before he disappeared. Alice waited patiently as he worked, periodically glancing at her phone as he worked. Kathryn texted her a few times but Alice made no move to reply to her friend.

Less than half an hour later, Hidan returned to Alice and he gave her a thumbs up. "We're good, bitch. I left most of the blood-stains behind though. Don't wanna mess with the dogs either."

"Excellent," Alice said. "You remember how to get to my Hummer?"

He nodded.

"Let's go then." Alice allowed Hidan to piggy-back her back to her Hummer and she showed Hidan where he could store his weapons in the hidden compartment of her vehicle until he found somewhere else to keep them, before they made the trek home.

"You seem to be in a significantly better mood than yesterday," Sasori said.

"A few hours without having to look at your stupid face did wonders for me," Alice replied boredly as she snuggled into the cushion between Kisame and Itachi.

"What did you and Hidan do?" Kisame asked, tearing his gaze from the television to look down at Alice.

"We went for a walk," she shrugged.

Itachi hummed, partially distracted by Pein as he flipped through the television stations boredly. "Did you have fun?"

"I got to pet a bunch of dogs."

"Is that a yes?" Sasori asked.

"Anything involving dogs is fun for Alice," Kathryn said.

Hidan scoffed and mumbled under his breath. "Except for dog fighting, apparently."

Pein's channel flipping stopped and he turned his head to stare at Hidan. "What does that mean, Hidan?"

"Just that the bitch is really against dog fighting," Hidan replied skeptically.

Pein took a deep breath before he looked at Alice. "So, would either of you happen to be responsible for the news report this morning of a barn a few miles away from us being covered in the blood of missing people? The barn was full of a bunch of dogs and the news reporter mentioned that these dogs were apparently fighting dogs and the blood found at the scene belonged to a number of people the police were after for dog-fighting."

Alice stared at Pein blankly. "You know, I'm not even ashamed."

"Alice made me do it," Hidan said instantly when Pein turned to glare at him. "She taunted me with my devotion to Jashin-sama."

Pein pinched the bridge of his nose. "I'm going to kill both of you."

"Totally worth it," Alice said proudly as Hidan high-tailed it out of the room.

First Person!

The rest of the week after Hidan's massacre came and went without another incident. Pein had grounded me yet again and I had a migraine for two days straight because of how hard he hit me in the head as punishment for allowing Hidan to kill no less than thirty people in a couple of hours. Apparently I was responsible for a man who was at least five years or so older than me.

You never can tell with immortals. Hidan could be like a billion.

Hidan and I were forbidden from leaving the house alone together, because apparently I was a bad influence and neither of us had any impulse control.

Monday came and Kathryn and I went to school. My three periods took forever and I left the school happily when it was time to go. However, today turned out to be the one time I wished I had school all day.

I left the school, eager to get home and cuddle with my various cats when I noticed a very familiar black truck blocking my path to my Hummer. I frowned, wondering what the truck was doing here and where it came from before something clicked.

I opened my mouth to curse my bad luck before a hand clamped over it and I was knocked unconscious.

Like, I don't even have any excuses for how shitty this chapter is. It has literally no purpose other than to get us back on track for the original story line. I wrote this last minute and it's not edited or anything because I'm just not in the mood to deal with it. I'm practically pretending it isn't a thing. The reason this is even a thing is because my aunt's partner's daughter's boyfriend is complete white trash and was talking about going to a cock fight a couple of weeks ago and I saw him in passing for the first time since then. For those of you who don't know what it is, its when absolute shitty human beings take roosters and make them fight each other, sometimes to the death.

Needless to say the guy isn't allowed on my property anymore. That shit does not fly with me or my family. I don't care if it's a fucking bug. You don't make animals fight each other. It's cruel and disgusting.

Fun Fact: Being an adult sucks. Also, when Dani says she watches an anime, she also means she reads the manga too. If there is a manga to read. I get impatient with the lack of episodes so I read it.

Answer: Dogs. Hands fucking down I prefer dogs to cats. I love cats. I really do. They're cute and adorable and I used to have a couple of them. But I'm allergic to cats and dogs are the only things in the world I actually care about. Maybe that's the inspiration for this chapter.

QotC: Have you guys ever had to be actively involved in something after you've lost all interest in it? Were you forced to play a sport you hated and you couldn't quit? Did you have to draw something for a fandom you weren't in anymore? Anything, really.

ARC: Yeeee... Didn't think about this before hand. Uhhh... I'm gonna go with... Haikyuu. Yeah. Haikyuu. Okay. So let me fucking settle down for talking you guys into watching this shit. Now, I am not a fan of sports. In fact, I hate them all for various reasons I won't get into. Volleyball is probably in my top five most hated sports ever. But holy fuck is this anime totally worth watching. For the first time in my life, I have found a character that I love more than Itachi and just as much as Kenpachi. And that, my friends, is Kuroo Tetsuro, one of the side characters in Haikyuu. But honestly, every character in Haikyuu is worth the watch (*cough* Kuroo, Oikawa, Bokuto, Iwaizumi, Akaashi, Daichi *cough*). I've literally watched this anime all the way through over five times this year so far because it's just so good. AND THE FANDOM IS AMAZING. There is like no drama whatsoever, and all of the fandom is really chill about the various ships and the portrayals of the characters in fanfictions, headcanons, and art. The show is full of humor and I've been in tears laughing about some of the shit in the manga and the show. You get so attached to the characters and the various teams, sometimes wanting the main team to lose so the opponents can win. The art isn't perfect, but it's pretty good and you better believe there are some sexy guys in there.

Also, please come and talk to me about Haikyuu on here or on Tumblr. Fucking hell I could talk about Kuroo and Oikawa for years and never get tired of them.

Kathryn chose the name Laine (idk about middle name yet) for her son. We hung out for two days straight while she was still in town and I was more happy in those two days than I've been in months. I fucking miss her so much, you guys. You don't even know.

Gotta give Tori-da-Mutt a mention because she flips out about it when I talk about her. She's perf, you guys. Love her. Go through the reviews for the chapters and read what she writes. I always get a good laugh from them. They're the reviews that are like twice as long as everyone else's.

This author's note is getting to be way too long. I had things I was going to address but I'll do it next time.
