VampireKnight123: Thank you! Here you go! :)

LVR4Trunks-n-Vegeta: Naah, Pan wouldn't have let them rape her. She would have stopped them, but still, I wanted Trunks to be the one to rescue her. She's always doing things for herself and never depending on others, and Trunks use to be quite selfish... I say, they've both grown remarkably and I just wanted to show it a bit. Heheh they're not at the "L" word yet... But they'll get there :p

Sango: Lol, you didn't hurt my feelings, I was just more confused than anything, but it's all good. Hahah :)

Becca: I guess you'll just have to wait and see hahah

Rainbow Iris34: Heheh, I guess you could call him that :p and Trunks already broke Ran's face.

silvia S.K: hahah that would so be like something he would do!

emikot316: exactly. I've been burned by one before. That shit hurts.

Kim: Hehehe thank you! I'm so happy you liked it! He is just perfect, isn't he?! *dreamy sigh* just so damn perfect...

Guest: Interesting, because I've read a lot of old Trupan fics and I don't remember the names ever being used before I started using them. Now, it's not necessarily the names I mind being used (although it does bug me that people have the audacity to not even ask), it's people using my ideas so clearly (such as Pan being Goku and ChiChi's) that really annoy and hurts me. But hey, I'm just a lowly fanfic writer. Why should it matter what I think?

Thanks a million Kim! I don't know what I would do without a friend like you!

25- Happiness

Trunks breathed deeply, inhaling the scent of strawberries as he started to wake up from his slumber. His arm was dead, but he found himself not caring as he held onto the person next to him a bit tighter. With a sigh of contentment he opened his eyes to see waves of dark hair tumbling around him.

He smiled softly, watching her breathe for a minute. The night before replayed in his head a dozen times, and each time it left him grinning more and more like a fool. He had hugged her... He had kissed her! And, how happy he was that he did! He never thought he would have been able to do such a simple thing with a woman, but Pan wasn't just any woman... She was his.

Slowly, he got out of the bed, careful to not wake her up. He stretched his arm, getting blood pumping through it again as he stood up and headed to the bathroom.

Thirty minutes later, Trunks walked back into his room with a mug of coffee. Pan was still sleeping, but she had turned, her body now facing him. Her head rested on his pillow, and she was nuzzling it.

Gently, he sat down beside her. He felt so inexperienced. He had never waited for a girl to wake up in his bed before; he had never even allowed one to spend the night! But, Pan had wrapped him around her pinky since the first day she started working for him. It started off as a little thread, but it sewed itself into a ribbon, and before he knew it, it was a blanket. She had changed him quickly, and suddenly, but he knew she had changed, too. Did fate know what it was doing the day she flew into his window?

Trunks took a sip of his coffee, relishing the taste before setting his mug down and grabbing his phone. A smile crept up on his face as he turned on his camera and snapped a picture.

"Are you taking a picture of me?" Came Pan's groggy voice.

Trunks forced himself to not be surprised. He already knew girls had an extra sixth-sense when it came to people taking their photo. "You look cute," was all he said, taking another one.

She smiled weakly, stretching before she sat up, her messy hair falling around her. Trunks laughed lightly, moving a tangle behind her back. His touch sent shivers down her spine, and she thought back to last night. He had kissed her! They had kissed! Her heart tapped against her chest just thinking about it.

"Trunks," she said softly, causing him to look up from playing with a strand of her hair. "What are we...?" She desperately wanted to know. She felt so much for him, it had to be more than friendship. She liked him, she knew she did.

"I guess... We're dating," he looked up at her with a crooked smile. "If that's okay with you."

"Really?" She smiled.

"Really," he smiled. "Looks like I need to talk to your father... Ask him for his blessing and all."

"It sounds like you're going to propose," Pan told him.

"That's later, Panna," he smiled, causing her to blush.

Goten wandered through his apartment, having no specific goal in mind. He had already showered, dressed, watched the news, and drunk his coffee. Somehow, he found himself back on his couch. What a boring life he had... He could call Trunks to spar, but he knew his friend was with Pan- now that made him snort-. He could call his brother to spar, but then that would raise questions about his niece...

A knock on his door gained his attention, and he looked at it curiously. No one ever knocked on his door... There it was again! Someone really was knocking on his door. He got up, opening his door.

"Bulla..." He couldn't believe who was standing in front of him.

"Can I come in?" She smiled, raising an eyebrow.

"Uh... Sure!" He said quickly, moving so she could walk in. He smacked himself when she wasn't looking, he had to stop acting like such a fool!

"Goten?" Bulla called.

"Yes?" He looked at her quickly.

"Are you busy today?"

"Nope," he was never busy. He was pretty much the freest person alive at the moment.

"Good," Bulla smiled. "Because now you are."

"I am...?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Well..." She blushed lightly. "I guess if you want to be. I have two tickets to the newest action movie, and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me..."

"Really?" He asked, before clearing his throat and cussing himself for sounding like a preteen all over again.

Bulla laughed, "yes, really. And, maybe afterwards we can get something to eat?"

"That sounds great," he smiled, grabbing his wallet and shutting off the TV. "Are you ready?"

She nodded as he shut and locked his door. He walked beside her for a while, debating on what he should do or say. Whatever he did, he would end up sounding like an idiot, he just knew it...

"You know what, Bulla?" He said, catching her attention. "I really like you..." It was stupid, but it was the truth.

She smiled brightly, grabbing his hand and holding it, surprising him. "I like you too, Goten. I like you a lot."

He laughed, his smile bright on his face. He had a feeling his life wouldn't be so boring anymore, it would be impossible to be with Bulla Briefs in it.

"Are you scared?" Pan asked, looking at Trunks. They had been parked in front of her house for the past five minutes, and he hadn't moved at all.

"No," he said honestly. "I'm just trying to think of what to say," that I haven't said already... He added. He looked at Pan and smiled, "come on, we need to be getting inside anyways."

They walked to the porch together, holding hands. Pan was the one to open the door, and when they came in Gohan looked up from one of his old books. His eyes instantly narrowed, confusion growing in them. He glanced at their hands, but didn't say a word.

"Why don't you go change," Trunks told Pan, nudging her to the stairs gently. She looked up at him, but when he nodded she slowly made her way over to the stairs, still watching them.

"Gohan," he turned to look at the man, giving him a polite nod.

"Trunks," he said evenly. "I thought Pan stayed with Goten," he gave him a glare.

"She did, but Goten had a meeting to go to for his school, so he asked me to send her home," Trunks lied. The last thing he needed was for Gohan to hate his guts.

"I see..."

"Gohan, do you remember what I said at Christmas?"

"Yes..." The man said lowly. "It's kind of hard to forget something like that, Trunks."

"Well, I still stand true to it. I want to be with your daughter, and I want your approval."

"What does my approval matter? You'll just do whatever you want anyways," Gohan looked up at him.

"True," Trunks admitted. "But, you are Pan's father."

"You're right," Gohan stood up. "I am Pan's father, so I'm only going to tell you this once... Keep taking care of my little girl, and don't make her cry."

Suddenly, Gohan was engulfed in a hug, and he looked down in surprise to see Pan hugging him tightly. "Really Papa?" She looked up at him with a smile.

He smiled sadly, he knew this day was coming since Christmas. He had dreaded it, but what more could he do? Pan was a young woman now, he couldn't keep her sheltered any longer. While he would always be her father, it was time to hand the looking over her part to someone else. And, who better to do it than someone who loved his daughter, and he trusted as well?

"Yes, really," he patted his daughter's head.

Pan beamed as her father walked upstairs to his study, she turned around, smiling at Trunks. Laughing, she hug him tightly, and he wrapped his arms around her, too. Everything was the way it should be, and both of them, were extremely happy.
