As Mephisto left Rin smiled a bit,

"Yeah no grown ups,"

He said.

"Yukio" Ida reminded him.

"He's out on a mission," Rin said smiling.

Before they could say anything else Shiemi ran through the door with Paku at her heels.

"Carline, come on, quickly," She said grabbing her best friends wrist and dragged her along. Shimie dragged Carline to the attic of her

house.

"What's this?" Carline asked as she uncovered a vent and took the gate off.

"Look" Paku said enchanted.

Carline smiled as she saw what these two were talking about. Right from Shiemie's attic vent they could see the dance hall.

"How did you find this?" Paku whispered.

Shimie held up a notebook.

"My grandmother went to this school, her mother told her of this place. Apparently this was a popular place to watch when the older

kids were dancing."

"I could only imagine how wonderful it must have been." Carline said dreamily.

They watched for a bit longer.

"Theirs Arthur" Paku said pointing to the Paladin.

"He looks so handsome." She added. The others shook their heads in agreement.

"He must be lonely though," Carline said to Paku.

"I'm sure he bought a date," Shimie said.

"I doubt it." Carline said.

"You mean he's not a romantic?" Shimie asked a bit suprised.

"Carline and Paku looked at each other and nodded deciding to tell Shimie the big secret.

"He's dating Izumo's older sister." Paku said.

"Oh," Shiemi said looking at the ballroom,

"Is she here? Or is she on a job?"

"No," Carline said.

"She goes to school here, but she had to go away for a while, you see, she's going to have a baby."

"Oh wow" Shimie said.

"It's to bad because only her parents know where she is right now, poor Arthur doesn't even know." Carline added.

"That's too bad." Shimie said looking back.

After a while Paku said,

"I wonder where Shura is, even though this isn't her thing I would think she would be here chaperoning."

Carline shook her head.

"She has been helping a lot more in the shipyard lately, I think she misses Jesse."

"Who's Jesse?" Shimie asked.

"He is my older brother, he and Shura are close, but he was taken prisoner with Uncle John and we haven't heard from either since."

Paku said.

"Were they in love?" Shiemi asked.

"It's hard to tell, were not sure." Carline answered.

The three girls continued to watch the dance and then snuck back to their beds. Carline was happy she got home before her uncle, and

she snuck in her bed just as he walked in.
