A/N: I'm really really sorry for not updating, things just happened and I didn't have time to write. I'll try to update and finish this story by the end of this week but no promises. Now enough excuses and hope that you would like this chapter. I've also done some minor changes in chapter 24.

Flashback...

Everyone realized that she was right, both Naru and Shinji were going to be discharged from the hospital at two and it was already a quarter to two. Shinji wasn't a problem since he wouldn't mind them being late, a certain narcissist on the other hand was another matter. With that they all left the restaurant and made their way to the hospital.

...Flashback

They finally arrived at the hospital and all headed towards Naru and Shinji's room, with Naru being released from the ICU, Martin requested for the both of them to be placed in the same room.

Mai was the first one to enter the room and greeted Shinji, she then headed towards Naru's bed with a big smile on her face. Next thing you know the high and mighty narcissist opened his mouth, "What are you smiling about, you look like an idiot." He said this with a smirk on his face and right on cue Mai's face started to turn red in anger and was about to start shouting at Naru, "YOU NA - kyah!" Mai soon enough found herself on top of Naru, with their lips nearly touching and any lower they would have kissed. Bou-san and Ayako on the other hand weren't as lucky as they were possibly, since they were both on the floor with their lips locked together. They both had looks of horror in their faces. As to how they ended up in their current position, would be because of hurricane Kourin entering the room.

Flashback...

When they arrived at the hospital, Kourin said to the others, "I'm going to the restroom. You guys go on ahead of me I'll just follow you after."

She and everybody else didn't notice Luella and Madoka nodding their heads at each other. "Luella and I will come with you." Madoka said as she looped her arm around Kourin's.

"Alright." Kourin answered with a smile. She didn't think much of it since she only thought the the both of them needed to get to the restroom from the amount of tea they consumed.

Madoka turned towards the other women on the team, "Would the three of you want to come with us?" She asked with a smile on her face. Mai felt a shiver run down her spine and immediately cut off Ayako who was about to say yes, "No thanks, we're good. We'll just wait for the three of you in Naru and Shinji's room."

"Alright, suit yourselves." Madoka answered with a shrug. Afterwards the three women made their way towards the restroom.

Masako and Ayako looked at Mai incredulously, "Alright, what was that about?" Ayako asked as they were walking towards the guys' hospital room.

Mai shivered with a scared look on her face, "I don't know. I just have this feeling that if we went with them something bad is going to happen." Everyone looked at Mai in alarm and wondering why she didn't warn the other three.

John asking what was on their minds, "Are they in danger?"

Mai was startled by the question, and realized what she must have sounded. She raised her hand and started waving them in front of her while shaking her head, "No, no, no. They're not in danger or anything, what I meant was that I just have a feeling that if I went with them, well, umm." They all waited for the girl to compose herself and continue, when Masako gasped and paled. She finally understood what Mai was trying to tell them.

"What?" Ayako snapped at the two girls still not knowing what they were so afraid of. Lin and Martin had a dawning horror and their stomachs dropped when they finally caught on to what the two teenage girls were terrified of.

Keiki noticed the worried look on his younger brother's face, "What's wrong Koujo? Is there something wrong?" He asked Lin a little alarmed at seeing his usually stoic brother to have worry and horror appearing on his face.

Everyone turned their attention towards the man, "There's nothing wrong it's just that, Elder sister." He paused and opened his mouth again but no words would come out.

Keiki looked at his younger brother now worried that something was definitely wrong. "What about Kourin?" He finally asked with steel in his voice and hardened look on his face. It wasn't time to be playing games when the three women could be in danger.

"Now, now, calm down. There's nothing to worry about. I assure you, Luella and Madoka would do anything bad to Kourin-san, they're completely harmless." Martin commented with a smile but he had sweat running down the back of his neck.

Lin looked at the professor incredulously, "Harmless, you say they're harmless. Need I remind you what happened when the twins just turned ten."

Martin paled at the mention of specific memory, but he cleared his throat and composed himself, "Not to worry, not worry, everything is just fine so don't worry." He assured them now with a forced smile on his face.

"Whoa, come on they're not that bad. Are they?" Bou-san asked with a disbelieving look on his face.

Lin turned to Bou-san, "If that's how you think then you'd better be ready if they start heading your way. Because I assure you with your kind of thinking it would only lead you to a lot of danger, hurt and most of all utter humiliation you never expect." He said this with seriousness and steel which no one had ever seen on his face.

Yasuhara can no longer hold his curiosity in and finally asked, "So, what happened when big boss and his twin brother just turned ten?" Martin and Lin stopped in their tracks and you could practically feel them shiver. Seeing Lin shiver was a sight to behold and you couldn't help but aske where the world has gone to.

"We should hurry and head towards Noll's hospital room. They must have been waiting for so long and it is not a good thing I believe to make Noll wait, don't you think so Yasuhara-kun?" He asked in a fatherly way though there was a noticeable steel in his voice which practically says leave it alone.

Normally, Yasuhara wouldn't stop until he gets what he wants but at that moment he saw his life flash before his eyes, "Eh, hehe, you're right Mr. Davis. Big boss wouldn't like to be kept waiting." Yasuhara said and finally kept his mouth shut which saved his life.

Everyone else didn't make a sound until they reached Naru and Shinji's room, with a single running thought in their minds and it was to stay away from both Madoka and Luella's path unless they want to find themselves in a world of pain or utter humiliation.

While the others were heading to Naru and Shinji's room, Kourin along with Madoka and Luella were on their way to the restroom were chatting with each other. At first, Luella and Madoka were engaging Kourin into talks about Mai and Naru would be so cute if they would ever become a couple, how Ayako and Bou-san were still in denial about their feelings, how Masako would be cute with either John or Yasuhara. Kourin commenting John was a priest and he wasn't allowed to have relationships. Madoka and Luella grinned at each other knowing that they have Kourin's attention.

Luella commented with a dreamy look, "I think you and Shinji would look cute together. I could just see it, the both of you married and have wonderful children."

Kourin blushed and started to splutter, "Wha-what are you talking about Luella, Shinji and I aren't like that and I don't like him that way."

"Um-hmm, keep on telling that to yourself girl, no one's going to believe you." Madoka said with a mischievous look on her face.

"What are you talking about, I'm telling the truth. There's nothing going on between us." Kourin denied though she was blushing as red as a ripe tomato.

Madoka started to make cooing and kissing noises at Kourin. Kourin glared at her, when a certain idea came into her mind and glint soon appeared in her eyes, "Hmm, really now Madoka. You know, you shouldn't antagonize the elder sister of your boyfriend."

It was Madoka's turn to blush the same shade as her hair, "Wh-what are you talking about. Lin is not my boyfriend, his just a colleague, yeah, he's just a colleague. That's all." Madoka stated though there was a slight hint of disappointment in her tone.

Kourin grinned, thinking that she could get the conversation away from her, but she forgot about one certain person. It was the worst mistake she could have ever made and it was to forget about HER.

"Oh My Gosh! Shouted Luella which startled both Madoka and Kourin. The both of them forgot Luella was even there with them. The two looked at Luella, who had a worried look on her face, Kourin was about to ask what happened when Luella started speaking which bordered on hysterical, "I just received a call from Martin, he informed me about Shinji starting to convulse a little while ago and..." She was cut-off by Kourin, who took hold of her and started asking Luella where Shinji was. Luella answered that he was still in his and Naru's hospital room, but before Luella could say anything else Kourin was already gone and heading towards Shinji's room.

Madoka was also about to follow Kourin, when Luella started to laugh. Madoka turned to the woman and scolded her, "Luella, this is not the time for you to be laughing, we need to hurry and check on..." She trailed off and looked at Luella with a shock look on her face, "Oh my gosh! You are one hell of an actress Luella." Madoka exclaimed.

Luella just grinned at her, "Come on we need to hurry. I need to take some pictures." With that two women followed after Kourin and headed towards Noll's room.

Back with the others, Naru started insulting Mai about her being an idiot. She was about to shout at Naru when the hospital door opened with a bang which nearly hit Yasuhara in the face. Everyone was shocked and dove out of the way when Kourin came in barreling in shoving Bou-san in the process, who in turn knocked Ayako and like a domino knocked into Mai. All three of them ending in different positions. Mai was knocked off and landed on top of Naru with their lips nearly brushing as for Bou-san, managed to shift his weight and instead landed underneath Ayako rather than crushing her with his weight but it resulted with the both of them kissing each other.

...Flashback

Kourin was hugging Shinji with all her strength as well as crying and saying things at the same time which made it impossible to understand her. With only a few words he could understand which includes, 'alright', 'convulse', 'safe', and mostly constitute, 'Luella'. Before he could or the others could process anything and were stuck still in their places, someone shouted, "Freeze, nobody move!" Next thing they see and hear were flashes and shutters of a camera, this in turn made everyone move into action.

With Ayako and Bou-san...

Ayako and Bou-san pushed each other, with Ayako hitting him with her purse, "You pervert, what do you think you're doing by kissing me." She screeched while continuously hitting poor Bou-san.

"What do you mean I kissed you, as far as I remember you also kissed me." He shot back while trying to avoid her purse. "Geez, stop hitting me woman." Bou-san growled out.

John, ever pacifist, tried to placate the two, "Come on the both of you we are in a hospital. Please stop fighting." John took a step back when Ayako sent a glare at him, placing his hands in front of him to try and placate her, he gave a sigh of relief when her attention was off of him.

Ayako turned away from the priest and stood up, "I'm going to the restroom." As she was going out, she began to drag an unsuspecting Masako along with her. Masako turned to Ayako and was about to argue but the woman's glare made her clamp her mouth shut, she turned to the others with pleading looks in her eyes. But nobody made a move to help her, not wanting to set Ayako off again. Bou-san slumped down by the wall near Naru's bed and breathed a sigh of relief as soon as Ayako was out of sight.

With Mai and Naru...

Naru started telling Mai to move, "Get off me idiot, you're heavy. But I guess it can't be helped with you not wanting to move considering my looks." He smirked at the girl, but if anyone looked closely you would see a slight dusting of pink on his face.

As for Mai, she turned a bright red from head to toe. She stood up immediately and with her clumsy lost her balance and was about to fall to the floor, but before she found herself flat on the floor Naru managed to catch her, "Idiot, just because were in a hospital doesn't mean you're allowed to injure yourself." Mai blushed and started muttering thanks under her breath, which Naru could still hear with their proximity.

With Shinji and Kourin...

Shinji was trying to calm Kourin down, "Lady Kourin, please calm down and tell me what's wrong."

Kourin looked at him with a pout, "How many time do I have to tell you to stop calling me Lady Kourin." She said to Shinji though she was still sniffling.

Shinji smiled, "Alright, I'll stop calling you formally if you tell me what's going on." Kourin nodded her head at his compromise, she then started telling him what happened with everybody else listening. She told him about Luella saying that he started convulsing and she rushed of immediately to see him. When she finished telling the story, everyone looked at Luella, who was trying to inch out of the room.

"Mother", "Luella", "Luella-san", we're exclaimed by everyone in the room.

"Eh hehe." She laughed sheepishly then immediately bowed her head, "I'm sorry everyone, I hope you could forgive me."

Kourin moved from Shinji's side and went to Luella giving her a hug, "I forgive you, but please don't ever do that again. Because next time you do, I'll sic my shiki to haunt you."

Luella gulped and nodded her head, "I promise, I won't do it again." Luella said this with her right hand raised.

Kourin whispered in her ear, "It's alright so long as I'm not the one you're targeting." A huge grin formed on Luella's face which made everyone flinch in fear and had a foreboding feeling that their lives were in grave danger. They all turned towards Kourin, who had the same grin on their faces and they all thought the same thing that they were definitely doomed.

Before anyone else could say anything, there was a knock on the door. Soon enough Masako entered along with Ayako in tow, who turned towards Bou-san and bowed, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have hit you and I know that it was just an accident but I was still out of line."

"Don't worry about it, it's alright with me. Your actions were only understandable and I'm partly at fault as well when I made that comment, so I'm sorry as well." Bou-san answered.

With that everyone relaxed, none of them realizing that they were all tensed up waiting on how Ayako would react. Yasuhara was about to comment again when everyone else glared at him to shut up.

Kourin felt that someone was looking at her, when she turned around to see who it was, she saw Shinji staring at her. She blushed and turned around. She didn't notice how Keiki and Lin tensed up as they watch the interaction between the two of them. Both brothers nodded to each other and were making plans to corner Shinji and have a talk with him soon.

Before anything else could be said and done, there was a knock on the door again. When it opened, it was the doctor who entered holding the discharge papers for both Naru and Shinji. Everyone else left the room to wait for both Naru and Shinji to finish getting ready. Soon enough they were all on their way back to to the Davises' house since it was already getting late. The ride back was uneventful with everyone else drained from the day's events.
