Hey everyone so I left you guys with a bit of a cliffhanger last week, maybe I will again this week... Who knows ;) Enjoy and as always please read and review

Anika's mind was racing. Kuro and Andrea were working together. Her heartbeat thundered in her ears but everything was eerily quiet. She could hear herself breathing. She looked at Mokuba who said something she could not catch.

Anika took in her surroundings, looked back at Kuro who still had the 9mm Beretta against Mokuba and she realized that Andrea was not armed. She knew she could take both these women on but there was no way humanly possible for her to stop that bullet. All she could do right now was to do exactly what they said to keep Mokuba safe.

Anika's phone vibrated in her pocket, she could not be more thankful that she had forgotten to take it off silent. She could not answer but she had an idea. The high trill of Mokuba's phone pulled her back to the situation. "NO!" She thought desperately.

"You! Give me that phone now!" Andrea ordered. Mokuba hesitantly handed his phone over to her. She snatched it away tossing to the ground and stomping on it with the heel of her shoe. Anika immediately slipped her hand into her pocket without anyone noticing; she felt around her phone locating the unlock button and pressed it, trying her best not to give herself away. She ran her thumb along what she now knew to be up the screen deactivating the screensaver. Anika had programmed Kaiba's details to appear as the first tile on her home screen a while back as she thought it best to have a shortcut, she was so glad that she had decided to do that right now. She touched the screen on the top right corner and she knew it would open up a list of numbers for Kaiba. She hoped the fates were with her and that she touched the correct number now.

Anika slipped the phone into her jacket sleeve with the back of her phone cover against her skin just to make sure she did not activate the loudspeaker or worse, end the call.

"Put your hands against the car Anika. I need to make sure you don't have anything that can call in the cavalry." Andrea roughly checked Anika's pockets and patted her down. Unfortunately the road was quiet and no one could see what was happening. Anika's own car was blocking the view.

"What do you want Andrea?" Anika said more loudly than she needed to. "What is kidnapping Mokuba and me going to get you?"
"Revenge." She said nastily.
"And you thought doing this outside Arabica was a good idea." Anika's voice was laced with sarcasm. She had to make it appear like she was only speaking to Andrea because the last thing she wanted or needed was for her to realize that Anika was trying to get as much information as possible through to Kaiba.

"I would watch what I say if I were you Anika. After all, we are the ones with a gun. Wouldn't want ickle Mokuba to get hurt would we?" She roughly pulled Anika's hands back down who slipped her phone back into her pocket, thankful no one saw.

Alex looked at his phone quite confused. Anika said that she wanted to know how his date went and it was lunch time. "Why aren't you answering your phone Red?" he thought. He knew she planned on having lunch with Mokuba so maybe she just could not hear it ring. He decided to call Mokuba instead. It rang for a short while before it went dead. "This is weird." He was starting to get worried.

Alex quickly dialled Kaiba. He had never really called him before, he did not have any reason to most of the time, but he just felt that something was wrong.

"Alex?" Kaiba said puzzled. He wondered why Alex would be calling him; surely he knew Mokuba was having coffee with Anika. "Fine, put him through."
Alex's face came to life on the video phone Kaiba had on his desk. He answered the call only to be greeted by a very worried looking Alex.
"Hi Kaiba." He greeted quickly. "Is Mokuba with you by any chance?"
"No. Why would h-"
"Something's wrong." He cut Kaiba off. "I tried calling Anika but there was no answer and then I tried Mokuba but the line went dead. It's not normal. They're both lightening fast when it comes to answering calls."
"Anika had meetings. Maybe Mokuba lost signal." Kaiba reasoned.
"I don't know."

Just then Kaiba's cell phone rang; he picked it up and looked at Alex.
"It's Anika." He informed. "Anik..." He stopped, realizing that she had pocket dialled him except that was impossible with her phone. He decided to listen to what was being said.
"What is it Kaiba?" Alex asked anxiously but Kaiba raised his hand to silence him.

"Put your hands against the car Anika. I need to make sure you don't have anything that can call in the cavalry." He heard a woman's voice.
"What do you want Andrea? What is kidnapping Mokuba and me going to get you?" Kaiba could hear the stress in Anika's voice.
"Revenge." It was Andrea again. Kaiba was seething listening to this.
"And you thought doing this outside Arabica was a good idea." Kaiba knew Anika was level headed, she would never taunt anyone being in the position she was in right now. Not unless she was trying to get a message across.
"I would watch what I say if I were you Anika. After all, we are the ones with a gun. Wouldn't want ickle Mokuba to get hurt would we?" Kaiba had heard enough. He would find everyone responsible for this and there would be hell to pay.

"What is Kaiba?" Alex urged.
"Anika and Mokuba have been kidnapped. They are being held at gunpoint. Can you meet me at the mansion?"
"Yes. I'm leaving right now."

Anika and Mokuba were bundled into the back of a small, white unmarked panel van with Kuro sitting guard. She had the gun trained on Mokuba the whole time. Andrea climbed into the driver's seat and carefully drove off.

"Are you okay Mokuba?" Anika whispered to him.
"Under the circumstances, fine." He responded.
"I promise you, I will get you out."
"You two! Shut up or I will make you." Kuro finally spoke.
"What's in this for you Kuro?" Anika asked.
"Your destruction." She stated simply.
"So Mokuba is just collateral damage?" Anika was furious, there was not much she could do right now though.
"Possibly."
"And that doesn't bother you?"
"No."
Anika shook her head. She did not understand how she had managed to make so many dangerous and slightly unhinged enemies.
"If you hurt so much as a hair on his head, I swear to God I will rip you limb from limb." Anika threatened. She was so angry; there was no doubt in her mind that she would do it.
"Anika, don't. She's not worth it." Mokuba said softly.

Mokuba and Anika sat close together with their arms interlocked. All she could think of was a way to get him to safety. That was her first priority. The drive was long but soon they felt the van slow down and the ride became bumpy, they were obviously travelling on a dirt road. Eventually they came to a complete stop and Andrea climbed into the back.

She had two black scarves in her hand. She looked at Kuro who nodded back in assent, Anika did not like where this was going.

Kuro pointed the gun directly at Mokuba's heart and Andrea approached Mokuba first.
"He's such a cutie." Andrea stated flirtatiously, pinching his cheeks. "Too bad you got caught up in this. You can thank Anika." With that she started tying the scarf around his head making sure it properly covered his eyes. Anika noticed that one edge of both scarves were raw.
"Maybe I will. At least I have her for company and I don't have to see your ugly face." Mokuba replied simply.
"You'll pay for that you little brat." Andrea said venomously.

She moved over to Anika blindfolding her as well. She had to concentrate on her breathing to control the rising panic she felt. "Come on Anika, you need to stay calm. Mokuba needs you." She told herself.

"Now Anika, I don't have to tell you to behave yourself, do I? You know what will happen to Mokuba if you try anything. Plus now you can't see just what the gun is being pointed at." Andrea gave a shrilly laugh.
"There's a special place in hell for you Andrea." Anika seethed.
"Maybe. Now come with me."

She roughly tugged Anika up by her hair but she would never give Andrea the satisfaction of knowing that she had hurt her. She roughly walked Anika out the door almost making her fall. Andrea pulled Anika back and cruelly ripped the beautiful, thick, black winter jacket off her back. She spun around and tried to catch it back but Andrea had already tossed into the far corner of the van.
"You don't need that where we're going. Wouldn't want you being comfortable would we?" Andrea sneered. "The same way you don't need this." Anika felt Andrea's light touch on her necklace. She suddenly grasped it and yanked it off Anika's neck snapping the white gold chain and wounding her neck.
"No!" Anika cried. "I'll get you for this." Anika felt like she had just had the last feeble grasp on her sanity pried away. She heard Andrea toss it in the van with another item. It landed with metallic clink and Anika realized that it was Mokuba's locket. She knew more than ever she had to keep herself together. This situation was getting worse and she was responsible for Mokuba.

Andrea frog-marched Anika to the waiting car and shoved her inside taking great care to make sure Anika was hurt in the process. She felt Mokuba slide in next to her, thankful for the contact.

The car started moving and Anika prayed there was a way for Kaiba to find them before it was too late.

Alex arrived at the mansion just as Kaiba climbed out of the limo, snapping his vambraces in place, his white trench coat swishing behind him. He walked up to Kaiba who seemed to be the very embodiment of fury.
"Come with me." He growled.

Alex quietly followed as Kaiba took a roundabout route to the back yard. He seized a silver handle from deep within the blades of grass and pulled to reveal a trap door.
"After you." He said.

Alex descended the cement staircase with Kaiba following close behind. He pulled the trap door shut once more casting them into darkness; outside, the lawn looked like it had never been disturbed.

Kaiba opened the door ahead of them to reveal a smallish room with bookshelves covering the expanse of the far wall. He pulled out a green leather covered book and the middle shelves swung forward revealing a closed vault door. To the side was a retina scanner where he bent down allowing it to scan his blue eyes. With a quiet hiss the door slid open revealing a high tech computer terminal with three chairs and three massive screens.

"Whoa Kaiba! This is something else." Alex said awestruck. "What's with all the secrecy?"
"I don't trust anyone right now and neither should you. We need to get Mokuba and Anika out of there. For now they are alive because we haven't heard anything. Regardless of what they want to do with her, I will probably get a call. So we have time. This is where you are going to be stationed."
"Me?" Alex questioned. "Why?"
"I'm going to need you to give me the location given off by the tracker's signal. If anything changes I need to know."

Kaiba sat in the middle seat switching on the behemoth of a machine.
"Running identity verification protocol. Please state your name." A female mechanical voice said.
"Seto Kaiba." Kaiba responded. The computer loaded and Kaiba set to work.

He opened up his tracking program, waited for it to load, input his password then clicked on both Anika's and Mokuba's trackers. Both were functioning optimally so it was time to see where it would lead them. For the moment it appeared that both Anika and Mokuba were still together, not that he expected anything different, and heading in a north westerly direction.

He zoomed in on a map of Domino and its surrounding areas; it did not make sense to travel in that direction. There was not much there unless they were being taken to some sort of abandoned house or something similar.

"Alex, tell me if anything changes. Anything at all." Kaiba growled and left. Alex quickly put on the headset so he could remain in contact with him. Kaiba climbed into his fastest car and roared out onto the road.

From the information that Alex had relayed to him, Kaiba was approaching a dirt road that he had to drive along and would soon find the point from which the signal was coming. He quickly spotted it and carefully manoeuvred the low car over the loose rubble coming to a halt next to the white van.

He checked the cab first. It was empty. It was also clean and the scent of the pine air freshener still lingered. "A hired vehicle." Kaiba thought. It was a safe assumption to make, the vehicle itself was fairly new but the mileage was rather high. He walked around to the back of the vehicle pulling open the doors. It was empty. Just as he had suspected but a small part of him wished he would be lucky enough to find Anika and Mokuba in there.

He climbed in and knelt beside the small pile of belongings in the corner. Kaiba picked up Anika's jacket. The scent of her perfume was still evident on the spot where the collar touched her skin but the jacket was cold to the touch. He thought that they could not be more than an hour ahead of him. He checked the pockets hoping she was somehow able to leave him a clue but all he found was her cell phone.

He saw both Anika's and Mokuba's necklaces on the floor. He delicately picked up the white gold pendant, examining the chain. The links were broken about a third of the way from the clasp. He figured the clasp had moved around again, he remembered how he would always move it back around to the nape of her neck. He then picked Mokuba's locket up, opening it with a faint click. A picture of himself looked back at him, much younger with an innocent smile on his own face.

Kaiba grasped the locket in his fist, his knuckles turning white. "I swear I will come get you."
"What do you see Kaiba?" Alex asked miles away.
"An abandoned van. It had Anika's jacket and both their trackers. Looks like they yanked hers off her neck."

He tossed their possessions into his Ferrari and took a look around once more. He noticed a second set of tyre tracks that were not at all disturbed, heading back towards the road.
"This was just a diversion. They were taken in another vehicle. I'm going to Arabica, see what I can find there." Kaiba told Alex.
"Okay." Alex responded.

The drive back to Domino was much quicker since Kaiba drove like a maniac. He spotted Anika's blue Scirocco and pulled in, parking three bays away. He stepped around her car, nothing looked out of place. Her handbag was still inside. As he approached the driver's side he saw Mokuba's phone on the ground, shattered. Kaiba remembered Alex saying the line went dead and now he knew why. He picked up the remnants of the phone and turned around. The car was still unlocked as the door had not been properly shut. He bent down and saw the car key only just hidden by the body of the car. He picked it up, got Anika's bag out and locked it.
"I found Mokuba's phone. Anika's car is still here. We'll come back for it later." Kaiba knew that they were lucky no one had noticed the unlocked car. "I'm heading back to the mansion."

Mokuba had his hand tightly squeezing Anika's. This drive seemed to be as long as the initial one had been and for all they knew they could be two hours away from Domino.
"Don't worry An, Seto will find us." Mokuba whispered. Anika wished with all her heart that he was right but she had to focus on right now, and right now the best plan was to obey the kidnappers until an opportunity presented itself.

Since she could not see, Anika relied heavily on what she could hear. Through the blackness she could hear a slight buzzing, she realized it was the vibration of a cell phone and the duration of it indicated that it was a call. She listened carefully to the whispers trying to make out each word that was spoken.

"No, they haven't seen anything since we left the plot... I don't think so but we will take them to the location... well town shouldn't be too busy but we can't risk driving close by her office just in case someone recognizes her... agreed. Thankfully the KC building is too far away to be as much of a threat... yeah, later."

So they were in Domino. Anika secretly rejoiced. She heard the clunk of the phone being placed in the plastic console between the front seats. The question now was, where in Domino where they being taken?

It felt like they were being driven around in circles. Anika was trying to keep track of the turns they made to confirm her theory. "Left... right, right... left... right, left... right, right... left... right... right... right..." They travelled in a straight line for a short while and the pattern repeated itself. Anika knew now that they were just being driven around for hours. They were in Domino the whole time.

She wondered if Mokuba figured it out but she did not dare say a word. It was a rather long while before the pattern broke and Anika thought that it may have been roughly twenty minutes later that they came to a stop.

She felt the sudden change in temperature as the car door was violently pulled open.
"Come on, time to move." Andrea roughly pulled Anika out seizing her by her hair. She judged by the chill she felt that it had to have been close to sunset.

They were pushed along into a building that sounded cavernous. The clicking of their shoes echoed throughout the room.
"A warehouse?" Anika heard Mokuba say quietly. It sounded much too large to be the set of warehouses close to the harbour so it had to be either downtown or towards the airport but even those were not close enough to actually hear any planes. There was just no way to tell which it was.

The chill Anika felt earlier was completely gone now. This place was warm, too warm she thought. "There must be no windows here." She thought to herself.

Anika was suddenly pushed down onto a cold metal chair; she could feel the back rest had four metal bars. Her arms were pulled behind and cuffed together. She heard the sliding chink of the locking mechanism that was pulled too tight and was biting into her skin. She tried to pull her hands away even sliding them up and down and realized the handcuffs were threaded through the bars of her chair. Anika heard a giggle come from somewhere behind her, she realized it was Kuro who seemed to be getting immense pleasure from watching Anika try to fight off her binds in vain.
"Struggle all you want. You ain't going anywhere." Andrea laughed callously.

Anika fell silent and realized that Mokuba was right up behind her. She moved her fingers about realizing she could touch Mokuba's hand. What she felt surprised her; he was bound with a thin tightly tied rope. He grasped her hand and held on tight.

Kaiba walked in to find Alex studying a map on the giant display. He knew what Alex was trying to figure out but with so much time having passed, they could be anywhere. He had no way to locate them now with both Anika and Mokuba being without a tracker or a phone. A thought occurred to him but his phone rang pulling him from his thoughts. He looked at the caller ID, it was Mike.
"What do you want?" He greeted.
"Erizawa is out on bail." Mike declared.
"What?!" Kaiba thundered.

Alex spun around in his chair watching Kaiba intently. His ire was impressive. He knew the news had to be bad.

"I couldn't get hold of Anika-"
"-Because Anika has been kidnapped. You had one thing to do Mike." Kaiba was so angry he could barely see straight.
"What do you mean kidnapped?" Mike asked.
"I'm pretty sure the definition of kidnapped has not changed."
"Mr Kaiba now is not the time-"
"-No it isn't." Kaiba was about to hang up.
"Wait! Mr Kaiba! I can help."
"You have ten seconds." Kaiba responded.

Anika could hear the clicking of another set of shoes, a woman's. She wondered who it could be and how much worse they were going to make the situation.
"Sorry I had to miss so much of the action." She said in pleasant tone.
"It's alright; things are only just going to get interesting." Kuro replied.

She heard the footsteps behind her get closer and heard as much as felt Mokuba's hair flick out.
"There, isn't it better to see again." Kuro said, but Mokuba kept quiet. "Why are you so quiet?" She said in faux compassionate tone.
"Because you won't like what I do want to say." Mokuba said silkily.
"So unfriendly."

Anika heard her approaching footsteps. Kuro roughly pulled off Anika's blindfold. Her vision was blurry, taking time to adjust. The blurred lines of objects were converging and it took a few blinks before her sight was restored. She was in a very large, dimly lit warehouse with Kuro's sneering face directly in her line of vision.

The three women formed a menacing line in front of her and Anika knew she was in trouble.
