Thanks for the reviews. here is the enxt chapter!

"Are we there yet?" Jolteon said and Umbreon rolled his eyes. "Yes," he said, like Jolteon believed that it would have taken longer. The gang looked around, with not a single pokemon in sight. "Man, how do these pokemon find their way?" Vaporeon asked, looking up to Leafeon for answer.

"They sniff," Leafeon answered. "The ground type pokemon have excellent sense of smell and they find there way." "Ew, they recognize dirt?" Espeon said, clearly disgusted. The snobby rich girl didn't like the sound of that but Leafeon nodded to her in answer.

"Let's go guys," Umbreon said. 'Let's look for River Nile. We'll find the school there." The rest of them followed along.

It had been hours and the 9 pokemons were getting really tired now. "I'm so tired!" Espeon wailed while Jolteon nudged her with his nose to keep going. When she didn't, he sent a spark of electricity through her body and she jumped. 'What was that for?!" She yelled. "Come on, we gotta move!" He said, pushing her.

"You sure you ok?" Luxray asked Flareon. "Yep," She chirped. "I'm a fire pokemon Luxray. Stop worrying!" He turned his head. She knew he would turn around to ask again in a few minutes.

"I'm so thirsty," Kirlia murmured. She heard a splash, then fell to the ground. When she stood back up, she was drenched to skin. "You're welcome!" Vaporeon bowed and she pouted at him.

"It's so hot! The sun is getting in eye," Glameow said flatly, not even a hint of frustration in her emotion. Leafeon bought his tail up her head, it's leaf-like structure acting as an umbrella for the pokemon. "Why thank you!" She said, seeming much happier. "I guess you nerds aren't so bad!" Leafeon blushed at this.

"Umbreon, walk straight!" Glaceon giggled but he didn't move. He walking so close to her, their bodies touching and he was constantly rubbing necks with her while they walked. 'Sorry Glaceon. but you're body is so cool that it keeps the heat out!" She just laughed and blushed away.

"Guys, we are going around in circles!" Leafeon said, still holding the shade for Glameow. "It's almost dark!" He was right. It was sunset already.

'Ok guys, I got good news and bad news," Vaporeon's said and everybody stopped. "Gee, I wonder what the bad news could be?" Jolteon said sarcastically. Clearly, there could be nothing worse than being stuck in a desert. "The bad news is, we got nothing but sand to eat," He said. 'Oh, what's the good news," Espeon said, worriedly. She could really use some about now. 'The good news is, there's plenty of sand!" he said, looking down. Umbreon smacked him on the head with his paw.

"Look, a rock," Luxray said, and they all looked to find sharp dark brown rocks poking out of the ground. "Thanks captain obvious," Kirlia remarked, rolling her eyes. 'It's better than seeing nothing all day!" he yelled back.

"No, it's not a rock!" Leafeon exclaimed. "It's...a sandslash!" He cheered. A sandslash was camouflaging in the ground, his spikes poking out what seemed like ordinary rocks (Pokemon can do that in pokemon ranger games). "Oh please sir. Come on out! We need help!" He pawed the rocks and you better believe it there really was a sandslash. "Lost you say eh?" he asked, looking at the 9 friends with beady eyes. They all nodded together.

"Tourists," He said, mockingly. "Well, follow me! The river is up ahead!" "Why should we trust him?" Glaceon whispered to Umbreon.

Just then Espeon came up close to her and whispered in her ear, "Suicune says its ok." Suicune has spoken to the psychic pokemon through telepathy and they all followed the sandslash.

Tired and hungry, they reached a civilization. It was a huge village, crowded with pokemon. There were huge sand buildings around with pillars that had Glameow statues. There were small sand houses too. Behind all Sandslash pointed towards a huge building as a hotel and after being thanked, went out to the desert again.

Behind all this, they could see a huge pyramid. The prism shape glinting in the sunset. The river flowed close by and it was huge and could be seen from any part of the town.

"Someone is really famous," Espeon nudged Glameow who was shocked to see statues of her kind everywhere. "No wonder," Leafeon remarked. "The ancient egyptian rulers were all Glameows and they helped make it what it is statues are to honor them." 'You don't say!" Glameow replied, flashing him a pretty smile and he blushed again.

The nine of them went inside and checked into hotel rooms. the only problem was, that there were separate rooms for girls and boys and the couples groaned at this.

The girls went into their own rooms. Flareon flipped onto the bed, curled up, watching the others. The four had other ideas. Espeon insisted that they bond over and when Glaceon asked how, she squealed, "MAKE UP!" Glaceon and Kirlia winced but Glameow and Espeon seated them down and started putting makeup and styling Kirlia's green hair.

In boys room, Leafeon went in and took out the first book from the shelf which was about Egyptian culture. Umbreon tackled Vaporeon saying: "Finally!" and threw him to the ground. "What did I do?" Vaporeon shrieked in defense. "I tried to kiss Glaceon and failed each time, thanks to you!" Umbreon yelled in answer.

Jolteon sat down and started fixing up his spiked. Luxray joined too, doing the same. "You too bro?" Jolteon asked and he nodded.

Espeon applied dark blue eye shadows to clash with her light blue glossy fur while Glameow decorated Kirlia's dress like white body with ribbons.

"I suppose you think I'm mean," Espeon said out of the ordinary. "mean? nobody thinks you're mean," Glaceon lied. It was true that there was a time she hated Espeon.

"Oh shush Glaceon. I know a mean person when I see it," she said. "She was not always like that," Glameow said. "What do you mean?" Kirlia said. "Are you saying you were different once?"

"Yes, I was," Espeon said, a hint of sadness in her voice. "You see, I moved here a few years ago before high school began. In my previous school, I was just one tiny eevee and just like you. There were pokemon around who were always mean like I was to you. I was a loser." Glaceon listened this with interest.

"Then one day, they crossed all limits," Espeon continued. "One of them got hold of my diary and posted it all over the school walls and locker. I was so embarrassed and became the laughing stock of the school. I couldn't face my peers so I came to the new woods and joined Blastoise's academy. At first, I played safe, keeping low and staying clear of friends but somehow, people were always staring at me. Jolteon was the first to become my friend and well, people warmed up to me, I guess. I took my opportunity and soon became popular. Little did I realise that I had turned into the monsters I had tried to run away from in the first place."

Glameow nodded at this, confirming it was true. Glaceon felt sorry for Espeon. "I probably would have turned like that after experiencing what they did to you...with your diary," she remarked, Kirlia and Flareon nodded. at this statement.

"Look, I don't have any grudges against anyone," Espeon said, withdrawing her paw from Glaceon. "I can't be real like you. You know, be myself. I have a fake image to maintain if I can ever stay popular." She was looking down. 'You don't have to with us," Kirlia said, putting her hand on her paw. "Yeah, You're our friend now, just be yourself," Flareon added. Espeon was so happy to hear this. It was like she got what she had been missing all her life: true friends.

Next morning...

The gang went down to the main lobby and Umbreon asked the assistant where the Hippowdon High (Their transfer high school) was.

"It's a little to the east," he answered. "It's shaped like a miniature pyramid built to be the smaller replica of the ancient one. You can't miss it."

The gang set off to the school. It was a 20-minute walk down the busy market and when they reached their, it was very different from their high school.

Hippowdon high was build out of desert sand bricks, like every other house in that small civilisation. The ground was open without any walls around it but the school looked good.

"Don't talk to me crookodile!" A mawile yelled to her crookodile boyfriend, stomping off in front of the gang with the crookodile following.

"I didn't mean to compliment her tail!" He said, trying to catch up to her. The gang looked across to a small bench with a cactus next to it. A tranquill came along, peeking at the cactus that raised its hands to get rid of the bird-pokemon. It was a cacnea and not a cactus plant. Tranquill and Cacnea engaged in a battle over this.

"And then he was like..." they heard two purloins chatting. 'And then I was like, no I won't date you," she continued. The conversation sounded too uninteresting and seemed to drone on.

'Great," Vaporeon grumbled. "We just got out of our high school drama to get into more high school drama." The others were just dumbfounded, seeing the strange behaviors depicted by new pokemons.

"This isn't your everyday high school drama," Jolteon said. 'This is 'Advance High School Drama!" He exclaimed. "Let's just play along. We need to find the guardian," Flareon said and They all turned to enter the building.

During lunch...

The 10 pokemon crashed on the first empty tabled they found, groening their heads off. "How was the first day?" Glaceon asked in a frustrated.

"That goes without asking," Luxray replied, his spikes all messed up by his half day. "First days are always worst."

You said it," Espeon answered. "Did you know that one of the mean girls charmed a Gibble into prodding a compass in my hip?" Jolteon tried to calm her down. "Must be your distant cousin," Vaporeon joked. Espeon opened her mouth to say something but shut it because she realised it was a joke.

"Guys, we were suppose to finding the guardian," Kirlia said and Leafeon agreed with her.

"Suicune said he wears the armor of sorrow and has the sword of death," Glaceon said in her head. "Could be that Lairon," she said, shifting her gaze to the Lairon who was holding a Machomp upside down, probably bullying it. 8 heads turned to look him up.

"He does not have a sword," Umbreon, said and everyone looked back down. "How about that Gallade?" Flareon said and Luxray's hair shot up with electricity back to their perfect spikes but it was with jealousy as the saw the womanizing Gallade, talking with his buddies.

"That's not an armor," Kirlia said, facepalming. "That is a leaf body structure that ends in swords. I should know that. He belongs to my species!"

'He's here!" Espeon gasped and everyone turned to her. Just then, Umbreon saw a shadow lurking on the wall and whizz away as soon as it realised it was being noticed. Umbreon could have sworn it was Darkrai. He put a paw around Glaceon, trying to protect his love.

"Be careful young ones!" Suicune spoke in Espeon's mind, her voice serious as she warned them. "Darkrai lurks nearby!"

He was gone for the moment but the gang knew he would be back.

After school...

Tired and frustrated after their first day at the new school, the gang now walked slowly out of the school. They had been keeping their eyes on at least a 100 different pokemon, trying to find one that would match the description.

Then, as they closed near the gate, they saw a small brown pokemon with a white head, packing a gym bag and slinging it on his shoulder. Glaceon insisted that they follow him. "Why is that?" Leafeon asked. "Because he has an armor on his head," She pointed out. "Something tells me, the sword could be in that bag," Glameow finished for her.

The gang did, all the while Umbreon kept Glaceon close and the rest travelled around her, protecting the only guardian among them. This made it immensely impossible for Umbreon to try any romantic approaches to his girlfriend.

The Marowak walked ahead, unaware of his followers and headed out into the desert until he reached a sand dune. Here, he took opened his gym bag and pulled out a huge bone. He began practising with it. The gang watched it in awe as how perfectly he could wield it.

"THAT'S IT!" Jolteon exclaimed so loud that the Marowak heard it. "What? Who are you!?" He answered, raising his sword to his face to defend himself.

"No, dude, we don't want to hurt you," Vaporeon said. The girls stayed behind, leaving the conversation guy to guy. "Could you explain your armour to us?" Umbreon asked.

"What, this old relic?" he said and he nodded. "It was my mothers," he told them. "When I was c Cubone, she died in front of me. I stayed with her body until she was nothing but skeleton. I took her skull and made it my helmet. This sword here is bone from her arm."

"It's true!" Luxray said. "You must be him. The armor of sorrow and the sword of death! Come on girls!" He called to them and they got down.

"What's going on?' Marowak asked and Leafeon pushed him to sit. "You are a guardian," he said. The others found it too boring to explain. The know-it all Leafeon went on. When he finally finished, Marowak burst out, laughing.

"what's so funny?" Kirlia asked, tilting her head. "That is the most ridiculous story I have ever heard!" He rolled over, laughing more.

"It's true!" The nine pokemon shouted out loud but he didn't stop. But things changed. A black hole appeared the in the ground and Darkrai levitated out of it.

"Darkrai!" The boys gasped. Umbreon and Jolteon jumped up in front of their own girlfriend, protecting them. Luxray and Flareon took up battle positions while Vaporeon, Leafeon and Glameow were the only ones who looked chilled. Marowak was praying to his stars for safety against this vile monster.

Darkrai chuckled to himself a threw a dark impulse. Flareon threw flame against it while Luxray and Jolteon used Thundershock simultaneously. The attack was barely blocked. There was smoke everywhere and Darkrai was taken aback by razor leaves and ice shards but that barely did any damage and he laughed menacingly, clutching his stomach. He suddenly felt a sharp pain his his head and was thrown on the ground, only to realize that Kirlia and Espeon had used a combine psychic move on him. Once again, the damage was barely worth it and he got back up. "He's too strong!" Glameow yelled. Darkrai attacked Jolteon with a move so strong that he crashed down, injured.

In a blink of an eyes, Espeon was at Jolteon's side. Jolteon Raised his head slowly, weaken. 'Are you ok?' Espeon asked and he nodded.

Out of the ordinary, Suicune came about, landing from the sky and hit Darkrai Surf. Glaceon cheered, knowing tha her protector was here and the others seemingly relaxed too. "Suicune, you came!" Glaceon called out. "And I'm not alone!" She said.

The ground began to shake violently. The gang pokemon thrust their paws and legs into the sand, trying to stay balanced while Marowak did the same using his bone sword and clung to it.

A huge pokemon burst out of the scorching desert sand. He had a body made of dark borwn and sandy rocks and very brawny and muscular figure. This was the legendary pokemon Regirock.

Regirock used his large fists to punch Darkrai, sending his straight down to earth. Before he could get up, Regirock pounded the ground with his heavy fists, sending shockwaves that did further to damage he had been outnumbered by the two legendaries, he faded into the shadows.

The regirock turned around and made his way to Marowak who was shaking with fear. "Donot fear me," he said. "What the kids told you is true. You are one of the five guardians and I am your protector." The others came close to him, calming him down with their paws, reassuring him that although one legendary was evil, these two were actually good.

"I'm sorry I laughed at you," he said, finally get a hold of himself. "I'll travel with you. I'll help find others like me." Boy were the rest of the gang glad to hear that.

"I'm afraid you're running out of time," Suicune said. "Darkrai has taken over the eastern side of Egypt. The pokemon there are enveloped in nightmares." "Couldn't you heal them like you did with me?" Glaceon said. The other pokemons looked eagerly.

"Afraid not," Regirock spoke for her. "That was only one feather of cresselia. We need her power if we are going to help so many."

"Who is cresselia?" Umbreon asked. "She is Darkrai's counterpart," Suicune told them. 'A legendary like us, she is the only one with the power to drive off his nightmares. Her feathers hold her magic. But somehow, she disappeared long ago and we never saw her."

"So come on already. Tell us where the next guardian is," Luxray urged her. "I will. But for now, you must split up in

teams to find them. We need to do this quicker."

Sorry if this chapter is longer than others. Just thought that I needed to cover this incident up in one chapter as appropriate.
