HarryPOV

I told Dad everything that happened in the forest with the hooded figure and the unicorn. Even what happened with the centaurs. He was furious, along with Hermione as she checked over all of us while we sat in Dad's office while he went out to the forest to search for the dead unicorn.

"You could have been killed!" She fumed, "What was Dumbledore thinking sending you out there?"

"Honestly Mia." Draco said exasperated as he tried to fend her off, "We're fine! It went after Harry and Nott not me, Ron or Nev."

I smiled as she quickly came over to me, "You weren't hurt were you? Anna would kill me if I let something happen to you."

The door opened as Mia held my face, "Speaking of Anna…" Dad said slowly, "You all know I was working on a possible antidote to counteract the poison."

"Did you finish it?" Neville asked excitedly, "When will we know if it works?"

Dad hung up his cloak and unbuttoned his dress shirt, reveling a plain black tee-shirt under it, "I did finish it. I went to St. Mungo's as soon as it was done actually. It's why I haven't been here most of the day." He sat between Neville and Draco and sighed, "They were angry I was there, but they couldn't say anything. After all I did have permission to be there. I made sure Dumbledore had secured me that so I could administer antidotes and watch what they were giving her. I gave it to her at eleven this morning."

Mia, who let go of my face to listen to Dad talk, spoke up worriedly, "Did it work?"

Dad gave a sort of laugh and groan at the same time, "She woke up screaming bloody murder at eleven-thirty, so about half an hour ago. I thought she was going to injure the Healer trying to calm her down, the idiot was lucky she didn't bite him when he covered his mouth."

I smiled, "She's awake?"

Dad nodded, "Yes, she's awake. A bit furious it's been a month and a half, but awake."

"What about exams?" Mia asked, "She's so far behind now…I know she can catch up with Potions, but Defense, Transfiguration, and Charms…"

"Well you've got all the notes from defense," Ron said, "Even if they were hard to get."

"Draco's pretty good at Charms, he can show her the spells she missed and lend her his notes." Neville said

"I'm sure Minerva will help her catch up in Transfiguration as well," Dad said, "She should be alright."

"When will she be back?" I asked, "We have to tell her about Voldemort-"

Draco, Ron, and Neville flinched as Dad started at me in utter confusion.

"What-what does the Dark Lord have to do with this Harry?"

"Firenze, the centaur who saved me tonight, he said Voldemort-"

"Don't say the name!" Ron said

"was in the forest. Bane was furious that he'd saved me, said something about the planets and their alignment. I think he wanted to let Voldemort kill me."

"Don't say the name, Harry!" Draco demanded

Dad was paler than normal before rubbing his head.

"I need a drink." He groaned, "And people to stop coming after my children."

Mia handed him a bottle of something, "Fred nicked it from the kitchens."

Dad laughed and opened it, summoning glasses and pouring some for all of us.

"You know Ron, as annoying as those twins can be they are rather brilliant."

Ron turned red, "If you say so Professor."

We all sat around for another half hour before Dad shooed us all to bed, assuring us we'd be seeing Anna soon.

Draco and Ron gave the Twins a heads up to when Anna would be back, and the moment she and Mia came through the door the party was officially on. But we pulled Anna up to our dorm room so we could tell her everything that happened and see what she had been dreaming.

Turns out she had been dreaming everything that happened in the past month and a half, right on down to some of the more embarrassing details. From Norbert to me falling in the bathroom and scraping my knee.

After Anna had finished telling us about what she'd seen us do over the past month we decided it was best to tell her the truth about Voldemort.

"What do you mean it was You-Know-Who?" she asked wide-eyed

"He's the one killing unicorns," Mia said, "He tried to attack Harry and Nott."

"He was the figure?"

Draco, who hadn't let go of Anna since she'd gotten back, kissed her head, "Harry's okay Anna. Uncle Sev checked him over."

"He didn't even touch me Anna. Firenze saved me."

Anna stood up and moved to sit next to me, moving her hands over my face and checking for cuts and bruises.

"He could have killed you, Harry." She whispered

"Yeah well someone nearly killed you." I said cupping her face, "Do you know how frightened I was?"

She nodded seriously, "I could feel it Harry. I thought I was dying and even after I knew I wasn't, I still felt how afraid you were."

Mia tapped her chin, "You know I think I read something about telepathy between twins."

Draco tapped her head, "Got any other useful information hidden in that gem of yours Mia?"

Anna smiled and cuddled closer to me, "I'm missed you guys."

Ron ruffled her hair, "We missed you more. Now you get to attempt you're exams!"

My little pride of lions seemed on edge during the entire week of exams. I thought poor Neville was going to cry during my exam, but Draco helped put him back on the right track. I honestly wish that I could act like I want to, but I know that it'll never happen inside these walls. I was trapped here, unable to do anything that I wanted to for my children. It was a curse.

Harry told me that his scar was starting to bother him again, apparently it was bothering him at the first feast of the year as well. He doesn't look like he's been sleeping, the boys affirming that for me.

I watched as my Pride walked down the the lake, relaxing after their final exam, Hermione and Anna papers in hand, probably going over their papers while the boys tried to forget about the exams they just took. I watched as Harry suddenly took off, heading for Hagrids hut, the rest of the Pride behind him as he ran. I cast an invisibility spell on myself and followed them to the hut.

"Don't you think it's a bit odd," said Harry, scrambling up the grassy slope, "that what Hagrid wants more than anything else is a dragon, and a stranger turns up who just happens to have an egg in his pocket? How many people wander around with dragon eggs if it's against wizard law? Lucky they found Hagrid, don't you think? Why didn't I see it before?"

"What are you talking about?" said Ron, but Harry, sprinting across the grounds toward the forest, didn't answer.

Hagrid was sitting in an armchair outside his house; his trousers and sleeves were rolled up, and he was shelling peas into a large bowl.

"Hullo," he said, smiling. "Finished yer exams? Got time fer a drink?"

What the hell was Harry getting at?

"Yes, please," said Ron, but Harry cut him off.

"No, we're in a hurry. Hagrid, I've got to ask you something. You know that night you won Norbert? What did the stranger you were playing cards

with look like?"

"Dunno," said Hagrid casually, "he wouldn' take his cloak off."

I rolled my eyes, Hog's Head I thought bitterly.

"It's not that unusual, yeh get a lot o' funny folk in the Hog's Head -that's the pub down in the village. Mighta bin a dragon dealer, mightn' he? I never saw his face, he kept his hood up."

Harry sank down next to the bowl of peas. "What did you talk to him about, Hagrid? Did you mention Hogwarts at all?"

"Mighta come up," said Hagrid, frowning as he tried to remember. "Yeah... he asked what I did, an' I told him I was gamekeeper here... He asked a bit about the sorta creatures I took after... so I told him... an' I said what I'd always really wanted was a dragon... an' then... I can' remember too well, 'cause he kept buyin' me drinks...Let's see... yeah, then he said he had the dragon egg an' we could play cards fer it if I wanted... but he had ter be sure I could handle it, he didn' want it ter go ter any old home... So I told him, after Fluffy, a dragon would be easy..."

"And did he - did he seem interested in Fluffy?" Harry asked, trying to keep his voice calm.

"Well - yeah - how many three-headed dogs d'yeh meet, even around Hogwarts? So I told him, Fluffy's a piece o' cake if yeh know how to calm him down, jus' play him a bit o' music an' he'll go straight off ter sleep -"

Harry's face mirrored my own, horror. Hagrid busted into a spiel about 'shouldn't have told you that!' as they all took off. I followed them closely and uncovered myself once we were in the Great Hall.

"I'm too old to be chasing after a group of eleven year olds." I wheezed

Hermione and Anna jumped while Draco and Ron turned and pulled their wands out.

"Uncle Sev!" Draco said, "I nearly cursed you!"

"We have to go to Dumbledore." Harry said, "Hagrid told a stranger how to get past Fluffy, it might have been Voldemort, or maybe even who he's working with."

Minerva turned into the corridor, "What are you all doing?"

"We need to see Dumbledore." I said, "Hagrid exposed how to get past the beast of a dog to someone."

She looked appalled, "Dumbledore just left minutes ago. Urgent message from the minister. Do you believe it's compromised?"

"The stone may be mostly safe, but I'm not sure."

She looked appalled and glanced at the children.

"We've known for months Minnie." Anna said

She dropped her books, "How have you known?"

"It's best not to ask." I said smoothly, "I'm going down to check on it."

"We're coming too!" Anna said

"No." I protested, "No. You are all to stay up here and away from that bloody dog."

I gave them a no nonsense look before I hugged them and striding off. I immediately went to the corridor and opened the door. As I stepped into the room there was a blinding pain in the back of my head and I went down. Please don't let my pride get themselves into trouble and come down here.
