Autobot base
3:00 PM
Inside the walls of the Autobot base, it was a rather peaceful time, not word of the Decepticons or any other problems.
Inside one of the large rooms of the base holds on bot who was pacing back and forth.
The bot know as G-Force was deep thought of a beautiful femme who lived at the base with him. The femme was Velocity.
She is always on his mind, and he's spark beats faster whenever she is near him.
How could not, with her beautiful figure, he perfect shade of purple, her chosen vehicle mode, but most of all, how smart she was and very skilled on the battlefield. And that voice of hers
G-force and Velocity only chatted at a few times during the day since he became an official Autobot.
A few conversations here and there. And a few jokes, mostly from G-Force but whenever he did she would give small chuckle.
It used to be an eye roll or a smirk but she seemed to loosen up a bit.
In G-Force eyes, she was a bot who did not know to relax she took everything very seriously though, it seems when there was no Decepticon activity, she was ether checking inventory, in training or patrolling.
Even Arcee took things seriously and still manages to have fun such as rides with Jack.
Which was starting to be more frequently than normal, as he took notice.
But now since there was nothing going on, it was time to make a move and he had the perfect thing planed out, for the both of them.
He sighed.
He went into the main area of the base to grab some energon.
After that he turned the corner and bumped into Optimus Prime.
"Oh sorry, Prime" G-Force apologized.
"There is no need for formalities"
"Yes… Yes of course." He replied as he looked away.
"I sense that you are troubled. Is there something wrong?"
"Oh nothing is wrong, I just been thing about someone-I mean something"
Nothing was said, but G-Force can sense that Optimus was still looking at him.
"Ok… its someone…its…Velocity." He replied.
"Why are you think about her, if I may ask?" Prime replied.
"What's not to think about, she amazing, how smart she is, how fast she is, how great on the battlefield she is. And so very beautiful. I like her Optimus… I really do. But she is always so strict about everything, she does not know how to relax, even the rest knows to relax… but she seems to take everything seriously. I know we are at war but… I wish I could get to know her a little more."
Optimus said nothing as he observed G-Force. He could see that he really liked Velocity. But as G-Force said, she always busy around the base.
Optimus knows that Arcee and Velocity took themselves very serious, as well as the rest of the team when it comes to their duties as an Autobot and a solider in this war, but when the humans became part of their war, the had a great impact on the team. Bumblebee had someone who was his age that can also understand him. Bulkhead, found someone who goes well with his big personality, and Arcee, found someone who managed to break her out of the shell she was stuck in after the loss of her two partners. But Velocity did not have anyone as she normally kept to herself.
"I will speak to her on the matter, and I wish for you to accompany me."
"Uh, Yes Sir"
Training Room
Velocity had been using the Training room weekly and some times daily to keep her combat skills up, she was the one who always tried to better her performance and where she need it the most. Today she was training with her Hand-to-hand combat skills.
She had just finished up a round with the holograms of some drones and felt that she was sloppy.
"Dammit I slip up on the last one, I need to run it again. I must be more accurate.
Velocity walked over the machine that controlled the Training program, as was about to enter the program until Optimus Prime walked in along with G-Force, she quickly stood to attention.
"Prime, sir."
"At ease Velocity."
"Do you want me to go on patrol, or recheck the energon storage again?" she asked with her voice still very stern with responsibly.
"That will not be necessary, Velocity. I have notice that you have been working very hard with your duties as a solider, and for that, I and grateful for your support in our war against the Decepticons"
"Thank You, sir."
"But, there is a different between working hard, and working too hard."
This confused Velocity, what was he trying to tell her.
"Um, pardon me Optimus, but… What do you mean by that exactly?" she responded in confusion.
"What I am trying to say is that you, Velocity, are in need a break, our allies work very hard too, but even they still find the time to relax, even after all we been through. That is why I am relieving you of your duties for a week."
"BUT, OPTIMUS!"
Prime looked at Velocity, who showed concern in her optics.
"There has been little to no Decepticon activity as of late, and…" Velocity tone of voice changed, into a softer tone. "And I'm just trying to prepare myself, for the worst."
"I understand, Velocity. But my decision still stands."
"Yes Optimus."
"And G-Force will accompany you on your time off."
G-Force who have been paying attention to nothing, suddenly turned.
"Wait, what?" he responded.
And with that Optimus took his leave.
Velocity looked to G-Force with a not so pleased look
"So what do you have planned?" She asked as she crossed her arms.
G-Force thought for a moment before an idea hit him.
"I know the perfect thing we could."
He grabbed her hand and the both left to the main area where G-Force enter coordinates to the ground bridge and activated it.
"It time for you to stretch your wheels" He smiled before he transformed into his Bugatti Super Sport.
Velocity transformed into her Pagani Huayra and drove through the ground bridge.
Europe
Germany
Midnight.
The two super cars emerged from behind a truck stop and slow drove around the building before coming park before heading out to the road. Activating there holoforms.
"Where are we?" Velocity.
G-Force's Hologram smirked. "Welcome to the German Autobahn, Velocity."
Velocity spark skipped a beat.
"The Autobahn" She said in disbelief. "As in THE Autobahn!"
G-Force can hear the excitement in Velocity voice. He figure out that she as a Velocitronian just like him, and the one thing Velocitronian can't reset, it is the Need for Speed.
But he knew that being under Optimus's command, meant that the rules must be followed.
But what confused him, is how she came to be under his command in the first place, and how?
Maybe some racing will let her loose.
He smirked.
"It is time to unleash your inner Speed Demon, V. So… Show me what ya' got."
Then without warning, G-Force hit the gas pedal as hard as he could and took off.
Flying by a few cars before being left in an open space.
He checked his rear view mirror and could see Velocity slow catching up on him.
"Hey what took you so long?" He asked.
"I'm just trying to not over work my tires, that's all."
G-Force gave out a short laugh. "Listen V, you don't have to worry about breaking any earth speed limits here. Lots of fast drivers go fast on these roads, it only certain section were they are heavily enforced."
"I know, just don't want to cause any trouble."
"That… or you're too slow to keep up with me." He laughed.
At that moment something inside Velocity's spark snapped, and a spark ignited something within her, something that she hasn't felt in a long time.
"What did you just say about me" she held back herself from yelling. Her blood beginning to boil in anger.
"Well I mean, you been under Optimus rule so long, you couldn't possibly, even see catch up to me. You just be a dot in my mirrors."
"ILL SHOW YOU SLOW!" Velocity yelled as she slammed on the gas pedal, which cause a small burn out, but soon enough she past G. going 180 and climbing.
"Let's see if you can keep up with me, BOY"
"Oh, it's on now princess" He chuckled. G-Force floored it with him catching up.
I knew that would get her wheels going.
Once G-Force caught up they were both neck and neck zipping down the highway, and serving through the small cars and the big rigs making their way across the country.
"How about some racing music, if you don't mind."

At first there was only a beat from a guitar and drums. But then, the lyrics came on.

The music was pumping through the two young bots systems as they continued in the night, not caring about anything in universe. It was just the two of them on the open road. The moon glowing bright above. And the stars shining along with it. Velocity spark was racing as fast as she was going, and she was loving it. She felt like a young bot all over again. If she was in robot mode, her smile would be as wide as the highway itself.

And with that G-Force and Velocity went faster, laughing as the song got more intense.
But then soon slowed down as they had to make a tight turn on the highway, and their speed was reduced to 80 Mph. Now they were just cruising.
Velocity was laughing the the whole time and G-Force just listen to her laugh. Velocity now sounded like the life inside of her returned to herself. Once she stopped laughing, G-Force revved his engines, and Velocity replied back with the same response. Then when the lyrics came back on. They Floored it.

They raced faster and faster as the song was coming to an end. G-Force then noticed a truck stop a mile away and told Velocity that they were going to take a break for a bit.
Soon enough they pulled into a truck stop and took a break just when the song ended with

G-Force in his holoform rolled down his windows and soon did Velocity, they both stared at each other before smiling and laughing at what they just did.
G-Force then was feeling 'hungry'. So he brought Velocity in with him to a little convenience store where they bought some chips and a drink.
There holoforms sat on the hoods of their 'cars' as they ate and talked away.
"That was one hell of a drive huh" G-Force laughed.
Velocity giggled "Yeah it was. It was nice to drive at extreme speeds.
"See I told you, you must have be under Optimus rules, so long, that you forgot what true speed actually feels like.
"Hey, I respect our leader and his rules, I just don't want to be a bad solider."
G-Force looked at Velocity. "Come on V, I respect Primes, orders and all the things that he does in order to protect this planet, but sometimes, it doesn't hurt to relax, from time to time. All work and no play makes me a dull bot."
Velocity giggled at his little quip. "I…suppose you are right, maybe I do need to relax, once in a while."
"We Velocitronians are always the relaxing type, and what better way to relax then a drive." G-Force paused and looked at Velocity. "You are Velocitronian, right?"
Velocity rolled her eyes and smiled.
"Oh, ok, just checking."
"Gee, what gave it away, my name or my vehicle of choice." She smiled and laughed. "But in all seriousness, I am from Velocitron."
There was a few moments of silence, before G-Force spoke up.
"Do you ever wonder if we will ever see home again, to see the race tracks again."
Velocity gave a sad smile. And nodded. "Yeah, I do. I just hope Velocitron was not attacked by the Decepticons. You know, I think I remember a report that Override told everyone that Velocitron would not be a part of the war."
Override is the leader of Velocitron and the best racer on the planet. Velocitron is known as the speed planet where the way of life is through speed and racing. Even in politics, the leader is selected by the fastest/best racer. The way somebody is elected is by whoever wins Speedia 500.
Originally, there was no females in the political circle that is, until override lied about her gender and entered the Speedia 500 and ever since she won, she has been defending her place as leader.
Override is has her up's and down's. She can be brave and determined with a never-give-up attitude, she can also be cocky to the point of arrogant, if not selfish and shortsighted.
But she truly is the greatest.
She became leader, years before G-Force and Velocity came into existence.
"Do you remember the words she spoke at the races, 'We believe in the wheel-'
"And the road'." Velocity finished. As she sighed and gave a small smile.
"She was my hero, I wanted meet her and be her so badly. And hopefully one day, beat her. But not for leadership, just a nice race."
There was silence again as nether of them spoke for a few seconds.
"Remember how Cybertronians used to call us Velocitronians?"
""Impatient," "high-strung," or just plain "annoying." Velocity replied, with a smile.
"I remember seeing those types of bots sometimes. Just almost made me believe in those words.
…
"Do you remember the time Override almost lost, the Speedia 500?"
"Yeah, it amazes me that the bot in first place stopped just before the finish line. I still remember that lime green and dark green paint job."
"We'll my Sire, wasn't the type of Mech to rule over a planet, he just wanted a challenge.
Velocity's eyes went wide as looked at G-Force in a shocked expression.
"Your sire is Nitrous Oxide!" she yelled in disbelief.
"Yep, that's dear old dad for ya." He replied with a sad smile.
"But why, he could have become ruler of Velocitron."
"That's what I said too. I was very young at the time and I was home watching the whole thing live. And up until that point, I have never seen my sire lose a race. But I'll never forget, what he said, when he came home.
Flashback
G-Force Home, Velocitron.
Nitrous Oxide, returned to his home after the race, to greet his wonderful sparkmate. Her name was her very sleek frame and beautiful blue eyes as always a wonderful sight to him. He name was Wind Tunnel, and he loved her with all his spark. Her sapphire and neon blue paintjob always shined bright.
"Hello darling" he said to her.
"Hello my wonder Mech" she leaned up kissed him.
"So where is my little speed demon."
"In his room, though I'm not sure he in a good mood after what happen."
He nodded in agreement. "Don't worry I'll go talk to him." He said as turn to walk down the hall, before he continued forward, he stopped and looked at his sparkmate.
"Are you mad for what I did today?" He asked, with concern.
Wind Tunnel looked at him and gave a soft smile.
"No, I'm just glad you made the right decision."
He nodded and smiled before heading towards G-Force's room.
When the door open he found his sparkling. On his berth with his fetal position with his head resting on his knees.
"Hey, guess whose back?"
There was silence as G-Force did not even flinch.
Nitrous Oxide. Walked over and sat down on the edge of the berth and slowly put his hand on G-Force helm.
"Why didn't you win?" he said quietly.
"Because I didn't want"
"Why? You're the greatest racer of all, I have never seen you lose."
"Cause sometimes G-Force. Sometimes, there are more important things in life than, wining.
"Would could be more important than wining one of the biggest races of all time, and becoming leader?" G-Force looked up at his father
"You are"
G-Force stared at his father in confusion.
"But why did you enter the race then?"
"I didn't, it was my silly friend who signed me up, somehow. But the next time I see him, we are going to have a long talk about." Oxide replied with a scowl. "Besides, I'm not one for those political snobs, I wanna be here. To watch you grow into the best racer who could ever be." He said with a smile.
"I'm… I really that important?"
"Of course you are, you and your carrier are both very important to me. And that is something worth more than being a leader."
G-Force turned and hugged is father.
"I love you Sire"
"I love you too my little speed demon."
They stayed there for a few seconds before the door open and reveled Windtunnel, leaning on the door frame with her legs and arms crossed. She was smiling as a tear rolled down her face. She walked over and joined the hug.
"When you get older, me and Windtunnel will teach you to be the greatest driver the world has ever known. Who knows, maybe one day you will be the leader of Velocitron."
End of Flashback
A tear rolled down G-Force cheek as he recalled that day. He took a very long sigh and then spoke.
"I just hope… wherever they are. I just hope they are ok."
Velocity hugged him tight.
"Did I ever tell you how I got to Earth?"
Velocity looked at him.
"It happened a few days after the race that held on Cybertron. One where Dad competed in and won.
Up until then, once the race was over we headed home. But I was old enough at the time. I wanted to explore the world, to see what Cybertron had to offer. My Mom and Dad left. I stayed at a small hotel in Iacon. I started to hear reports of a civil war on the verge of breaking out. But I ignored it.
And when it was too late. I was almost caught in the middle of it.
There was one last ship heading out to Velocitron.
…
But I wasn't fast enough. I watch it fly high in the sky, take off in a flash.
Then I go word of a ship about to take off to parts unknown a few miles away.
I made it, I got on board and waited to land where ever we were going.
Then the Decepticon board before we could enter warp speed. But we were still in Cybertron Atmosphere.
I avoid much of the cons as I could as I passed by dead bodies. And some barley clinging to life.
I found an armory and used whatever they had. I also manage to get to the escape pods and launch myself out of there. I went into stasis. And before went into stasis. I notice another pod, very tiny. Like a human size container.
I don't know how long I spent in stasis. But if felt like seconds to me.
Next thing I knew. I was here, on Earth. And where I met Justin. And the small container was the white energon he touch, which gave him those powers."
And that's my story." G-Force finished as he looked out into the open watching the cars and trucks that passed by.
Velocity looked at G-Force and kept to herself, rubbing her arms.
"At least you got out ok."
G-Force turned and looked at Velocity, who was looking back at him.
"I was there too, for that race, I also stayed on Cybertron. Expect for me escaping, I missed the ship…both of them.
I was driving so fast, so very quickly, down the street. Until an explosion that happened right next to me, knocked me off the road and into a building. I was hurt really badly, I loss a lot of energon too, so much that…I fell into stasis.
Next thing I knew I was in a medical center, being treated for my wounds. It was a young femme treating my injuries. She said it was a miracle of the Primes that I survive that explosion. I then realized that, I was being treated by the Autobots."
I then meet their leader. Optimus and his friend Ratchet, and from there, the rest is history.
I trained hard. I fought hard. And I never gave up, hoping that one day, I could return home to Velocitron. And see my Creators again."
At that moment, all of Velocity emotions released at once. And the floodgates opened up as the cried very hard.
"I just want this war to be over…I want to go home…I miss my friends…and my Creators… I miss my Planet." She cried.
G-Force quickly hugged her, and held her tight.
"I figure if I worked very hard… that I could been done with this STUPID war."
The only sound was Velocity crying.
Later
G-Force and Velocity returned to base.
G-Force walked with Velocity to her room, as she wanted to relax. She was feeling much better after speaking to someone. She felt a little bit like her old self again. Thanks too G-Force
"Well, I say we learned a lot about each other." He said.
"That we did" she replied back.
"You know V, Earth is not that bad of a place. I looked up some stuff online, and found that humans enjoy racing, just as much as we do. They have their race tracks, their legends, and all that other stuff too. It just show how much we have in common. It almost amazes me.
"I also find humanity to be very intriguing too."
"You know what V, I know some really good race tracks here on Earth. They may not be the races tracks on Velocitron, but they are much more technical. And require precision and control and also a tactical approach to its turns.
I'm gonna talk to Agent Fowler to get us some 'backstage passes' to lets us drive on these track. For all the Autobots."
"That would be nice." Velocity smiled.
"And if it's not too much trouble. How about you and me race on the Autobahn again next weekend.
Velocity giggled. "Is that a date" she gave sly smile.
"Only if you want it to be" he replied.
"Then it's settled, next weekend, I will leave you so far behind. You won't be able to my taillights."
"Look forward to it." He said.
Before G-Force turned around. Velocity grabbed his shoulder and turned him around and gave a kiss on his cheek.
"Thank You G-Force… For everything."
And with that Velocity went into her room. And gave G and wink before she closed the door.
'Well now, things are looking up' he thought as he smiled and headed to his room.
