A/N: How long has it been? I just wanted to mention something. I reread the whole story and I noticed numerous spelling errors I made, and I was a bit surprised because I am normally good at proofreading my work so I plan on going back to change them. Sorry for any errors you may find, but I hope you understand my writing anyway. Haha but Enjoy! This one is a bit wordy.

"What do you mean they're missing? Where could they have gone?" Carlos asked Katie. They were walking back to Katie and Kendall's house from the neighborhood market, snow cones in each hand. Carlos' grandfather's service ended a while back so has returned from Florida.

"It's like they vanished. No phone calls, nothing. No one from the hotel they were staying at has seen them either," Katie said.

"That just doesn't make sense. How could no one have seen them? Did they even make it to their hotel?" Carlos asked her.

"Yeah, they called twice, but that was it. They were planning on going to the beach. That was all I got out of my mom's conversation though. She told them to wear sunscreen and that was it. Then they never called back." Katie told him.

"It just doesn't seem right to me. How not one person there could know what happened," Carlos said, holding the door open for Katie. As they entered the kitchen, he handed Mrs. Knight a snow cone.

"Oh, thank you sweetie, but I'm not really in the mood for one at the moment." Mrs. Knight was a wreck. She was running on practically no sleep, but yet she still sat by the phone in case the police called her back with news on the boys.

"Oh okay, more for me," Carlos said taking a huge bit out of it.

"How are you not worried?" Katie asked Carlos. "Even I'm worried."

"I don't know. I just have a feeling that they have everything under control. Whatever is going on, they probably have a good explanation for it." He reasoned. Just then the phone rang.

"Hello? No, not yet. I will, yes as soon as possible. Don't worry, okay, goodbye Mr. Diamond."

"What's going on with him?" Carlos asks.

"Maybe he's worried about his son!" Mrs. Knight snapped. Carlos' face of innocence was replaced by one of hurt.

"Oh dear, I'm sorry honey. I'm just so worried about the boys." She wrapped him in a hug, which seemed to be enough for him. "I guess the lack of sleep is catching up on me."

"Maybe you should lay down mom," Katie suggested.

"Oh, I can't. Not when I don't know what's going on. Plus, what if we get a phone call?"

"We'll be right here mom. If someone calls, I promise to wake you right up." She glanced at the clock, contemplating.

"Okay, I'll lie down for a few minutes. If no one calls by 4:00, wake me up immediately." Mrs. Knight told them. It was 3:25 right now.

"Sure thing mom," Katie grabs the phone and heads to the living room with Carlos.

"What do you wanna watch?" Carlos asks her. She doesn't respond though. She just looks at the phone.

"Katie?" All of a sudden she starts sobbing.

"Katie, you're really upset about this, aren't you?" He scoots next to her and wraps his arms around her body.

"I just want to know that they're okay. That's all I want; to know that they're not hurt, or worse."

"Shh, it's okay Katie. I bet they're fine." Carlos says.

"You don't even care though," Katie said through her sobs.

"No I do, I really do. I promise. I'm just confused, Katie. I just don't understand this. I don't understand how not one person from the resort they're booked in can't track them down." This doesn't seem to calm Katie down, but rather ignite more flame in her belly of tears. "Oh, don't cry Katie." Carlos sits there comforting her for a while, letting her cry it out, when suddenly he jumps up. "I have an idea!" he says.

"What?" Katie asks.

"We could borrow my grandfather's boat. He can't use it anymore anyway, so we can fly out to Florida, take it out there and check around."

"Can we really do that?" Katie asks, getting excited.

"I don't think my grandma will have a problem with it. I'll call her."

"I'll go tell my mom," Katie wakes her mother and returns to the living room.

"Well, my grandma says if we can make it out there, we can take the boat anywhere," Carlos says.

"What are you talking about?" Mrs. Knight asked.

"My grandfather has a boat and I asked my grandma if we can borrow it to check around the Caribbean to see if we can spot the guys. That is, if we can fly down there," Carlos says.

"Well mom, can we go?" Katie asked. Mrs. Knight was already on the computer purchasing the tickets.

"Carlos, tell your grandmother to get the boat ready."

James' POV

"Logan? Where are you?" I'm running back to the cave because I heard Logan screaming for me, but he's not answering me now. "Logan!"

"Logan, don't leave me!" Kendall says as I enter the cave. Logan is nowhere to be seen.

"Kendall? You woke up. Are you okay?" I ask him. He is still lying down, and he's gripping his chest wincing in pain.

"Logan," he whispers. His eyes are closed, so I can see why he can't tell who I am.

"No, it's James. It's alright Kendall. Are you in pain?" I ask. He cries out in pain, so I take that as a 'why yes, James, I am.'

"Where did Logan go?" he asks me, eyes still closed.

"I'm not sure. I left him here with you. I needed to sit by myself for a little bit." I say, sitting down beside him.

"He said he would be right back, and then he left." He says. It was more of a mumble, but I understood him.

"Okay, well I'm sure he'll be back soon then when he realizes I'm not up on the cliff." I say.

"What cliff?" Kendall mumbles.

"Just a cliff we found, no big deal don't worry," I tell him. He doesn't respond. "Kendall, Kendall. C'mon bud, you gotta wake up." I say, patting his chest hard. He winces for a minute but then his face loses all emotion and his body goes limp.

"Oh shit, I forgot about his ribs." I say quietly. "I'm sorry, buddy." I cover him back up with the blanket. I head out of the cave looking for Logan up on the cliff. He's not there once I get there, but I notice that his bed of blankets has been disrupted and is almost falling down the side of the cliff. I reach over to grab the blanket and I see Logan lying on the ground below.

"Logan!" I shout to him. He doesn't move. "Oh my God, is there ever a day where something bad doesn't happen here?" I sprint down the slope to where he was lying. "Logan, are you alright?" I ask. His head is badly bruised, I can tell. I lean down and touch him. He's warm, so at least he's not in Kendall's condition. I drag him away from the edge of the cliff so he's not in the little but of water that trails around it. It reminds me of a moat. "Here we go buddy, nice and dry." I say, lying him down by a tree. Luckily, Logan sits up and grips his head, so I am instantly relieved to know he's conscious.

"You alright buddy? You took a nasty fall."I say to him. He doesn't move positions. "Logan?" I touch him and he flinches. It's like he didn't even know I was here. "Whoa buddy, it's cool. It's just me," I say. He looks at me confused.

"What did you say?" He asked me, fairly loudly.

"I said, it's alright, it's just me." But he still only looks at me.

"Oh no, James. I can't hear you." Logan starts to cry. I just look at him.

"What do you mean?" I ask, but I realize that he can't answer me, so I just sit there and rub his back until his sobbing and the randomly recurring screams of Kendall's pain put us both to sleep.
