Faith kept her eyes focused watching a particular set of movements. How can someone with such a big mouth be so strong and fast? He hasn't even powered up yet. She throws a punch and missed by a mile.

Xander appeared behind her and kicked her in the side knocking her down to the floor in their gym. "You weren't ready."

Faith glared at the wall and wrapped an arm around the back of his neck and flipped him down to the floor and straddled him. "You questioning how I fight?"

"No" Xander replied with a smile from where he was. He quickly pressed up and pulled Faith down to him kissing her. The two oblivious to a white light in the sky quickly coming down to earth.

The mayor paced the hall nervously today was his big day. Or at least it's supposed to be until the slayer made an army. Word has it is that one of the slayer's has gotten even stronger and didn't even need magic to do it. They've torn the demonic ranks of Sunnydale apart leaving very few demons happy. He had to make quite a couple new deals to get his ascension back on track. But tonight will begin the hundred days.

The mayor looked out the window and saw a bright white light in the sky almost blinding to him.

Buffy smiled opening her eyes at the crack of dawn to her. This was a good day. Snyder had nothing to come down on her for and she knew everything on her science test. God bless the little triangle on her hand.

Buffy looked up at the white sky and saw a bright light. "Angel, wake up."

The former vampire opened his eyes and remembered last night but was taken back by the sight of the bright sky.

Angel looked to the sky never seeing anything like it before. "What is that?"

"I don't know." Buffy replied just looking at the sky never seeing anything like this. "I was hoping you could tell me?"

Angel gave an honest shrug but the light disappeared to his eyes. "I don't know. Why don't you go back to sleep, I'll wake you up if it's something important."

Willow sat in the grass with Oz. She has to admit she'd never seen herself as this last year. Last year she was looking for any identity to just be her. Now here she is with a rock star boyfriend... sort of, she can fight her own battles as Harmony found out the one time since Halloween she messed with her. She still wishes Xander would have let her put the pinch on her.

Willow looked up and saw her boyfriend. "Oz?"

Oz looked down and asked. "What's up?"

"You ever think about the future?" Willow asked curiously.

Oz looked down and smiled at her in her unique sense of Willow dress. A little miniskirt with a pink fuzzy sweater. "Sometimes, but I told you before when we first started. World just freezes Willow time."

Willow looked to the sky and saw a bright light. "What is that?"

Oz gave an honest shrug just to see Willow get off him and start walking towards it. Oz was quick to his feet and followed her. Where Willow goes: so goes his nation.

Giles was looking through the books seeing if there was anything about a prison for wayward watchers. Or an underground base Quentin would be under after putting Buffy through what they did.

Jenny came in and saw Giles hard at work. "They're just upset at the moment. Just give it some time to cool off. They're young, they bounce back, and in their line of work they practically have to."

The Mayor looked up and saw the bright light heading straight for him. This was the day he should have started, he would have gained his immortality for his ascension, oh this isn't fair. If he knew this was the end result… screw this town. He would have stayed with his wife if knew this would happen. He could only do one thing before the end in a very out of character bad mood. "Mother Fu…"

Faith fell to on top of Xander catching her breath looking at their scattered trail of clothes. "God, I think I crated a monster."

Xander could only smile hearing that. "Thanks."

Faith looked at him with a smile. "Ready to go again?"

Xander looked at her almost in disbelief. "I love you, and I'd love to. But sadly I think we have to go out at some point today." He looked at her as she had a deer in the headlights look, oh dear god he said it. "Faith wai..." But she grabbed her clothes and practically ran out of bed like she was on fire and into a guestroom and slammed the door shut. Xander ran out only to hear a lock. He went to his own room and got dressed, he walked to Faith's door but still locked. He let out a quiet sigh. "Look, I'm not going to apologize for saying it because I do. You're an incredible woman Faith. But I will leave the door up and let you… ah... oh god no... it...it can't be!" On this day Xander learned a horrible consequence of his Halloween powers.

Faith looked at the door. No he's just trying to trick her into opening the door so they can talk. Why did the idiot say that? They were at aperfectly good palce to her and now he screwed it up. She looks out the window and saw Xander flying away. She guesses he is giving her space. Good maybe now she can get her head on straight.

Giles stood in the library as the whole school seemingly shook.

Jenny just nervously regained her feet. "What was that? I don't think it was an earthquake."

Giles shook his head. "At this moment, I think it might be time for the idiot box." Jenny rolled her eyes and headed for the computer. "Jenny, I actually meant the TV."

Jenny smiled as they quickly went into the teacher's lounge and saw Snyder and the others. "What's going on?"

Snyder looked at his two weirdest teachers almost troubled unsure of what to do. "They're saying a meteor rock hit city hall and decimated the completely surrounding blocks. I-I have to go make n- an announcement but… it, it should be obvious school is cancelled today... and until further notice."

Jenny looked at him confused she's guessing it's that repression thing Rupert's going on about. Speaking of Rupert she sees he's already left and chases after him. She stops him at the exit. "Where are you going?"

Giles looked at her quickly telling his explanation. "Meteor warnings come with the very least within an hour in advance. This one came from nowhere it's more then a meteor and its trouble. Odds are they'll run right for it trying to see what it is."

"I'm driving by the time we get there in your car it will be over." Jenny replied as she ran out the door ahead of him.

Angel opened his eyes and saw Buffy lying in the bed sleeping. Each day has been a gift to be with her. She taught him to almost be human and then made him human. He turns on the TV for the day and saw Willow hidden in the background at a meteor crater that used to be city hall. He quickly gets dressed but decides to leave Buffy asleep. It's just a hole after alland the damamge has been done there's nothing she could do.

Willow and Oz looked at the crater in disbelief for a moment. All the people in City Hall, everyone on the surrounding blocks, most were gone some we're in their cars and have fallen deep in the crater. Willow looked at the big hole and regained her focus hearing a woman scream as she ran to one of the damaged, burning buildings that was surrounded by the blast.

"Mia figlia, mia figlia!"

Willow ran right to the edge of the wobbly building and saw an older woman desperately trying to get into a hole that was simply too small for her but not for her as she crawled in.

Oz's eyes widened in fear not believing she'd do that. "Willow!"

Willow quickly walked through the hobbled remains finding what she's looking for an infant asleep in its crib as she lifts it up. And gets a very bad feeling in the pit of her stomach; the building is starting to give. "OK, that's not good." She stretched her hand out and a portal appeared to the outside. Sadly the same time a big heavy wooden bureau dropped from the second floor cutting her off from it. "Are you kidding me?"

She ran to the crack only to find it closed by a tremor. Her heart pulses that much quicker thinking on her feet. Xena memories don't fail her now. She runs to the bureau and runs up it for leverage before using the bureau to plant her feet and jump to the second floor. She watches the building shake violently oh god is this it? She quickly runs through the building as a blue diamond barrier surrounds her and the baby. With no other choice left she jumped out the window and smiled as she lands on the floor. Thankful for the barrier otherwards she would have broken her leg or worse.

Willow quickly handed the baby off to her mother as the four fled the debris. The red headed warrior witch watched as Angel helped firefighters with the Jaws of Life freeing the passengers inside. She watches as cars just seemingly appear in the streets from the crater. Then the roofs seemingly open freeing their passengers.

Angel walked up with Oz and Willow. Xander just walked up behind them.

One of the cops on scene got between them. "Hey get away from there. You kids don't belong anywhere near that hole."

Xander and the others and walked away when to their surprise the cop yelled they turned around and saw what looks like a vampire mixed with a demon. The demon resembled a pale, bald human with the browridges shared by normal vampires. Its eyes were clear save for black slits, similar to cats. It had a flat, bat-like nose, a fully sharpened set of teeth, pointed elf-like ears, and long nails while clad in a black, leather like outfit.

Willow kicked it in the head and knocked it off. Oz quickly threw her a stake and she quickly rammed it into the creature's heart. The creature looked at the wooden wound and simply backhanded Willow knocking her down. Xander wasted no time a whitish glow surrounded him and he punched straight through the creature's skull which counted as a decapitation as the demon turned to dust clothes and all.

Xander shook his hands off for the dust. "Ok, what the hell was that thing!"

Angel shrugged, "Demon of some kind?"

"Vampire" Oz corrected as the three turned around just to stare at him. He pointed at the dust. "Educated guess."

Willow looked at the ground. "Xander you think you can take a whole army of them on?"

"If I had to why?" Xander asked.

Willow pointed down. "There!"

Xander watched as they emerged three, four, five at a time out of the giant hole that used to be city hall. "Oh boy?"

"Why aren't they burning under the sun?" Willow asked.

Angel shook his head in the old days he would have loved something like this. "The sky is covered in dust and ash what sun?"

Xander looked around and saw the paparazzi here to cover the catastrophe. "You realize we're busted if we do this?"

Willow gave a shrug pulling out the reaper wing and her capsule sword. "And?"

Angel hit two capsules turning it into a shield and sword as Oz quietly backed up the only thing he could use is a stake which has proven useless for now.

Xander had a smile of disbelief and simply hit a button on a capsule as it became the fierce deity blade. "I just wanted to say it out loud."

The four stood ready for the fight of their lives.
